((Here's the number of posts for each player in the match: I have included posts that currently don't have any IC content in these totals. I am going to go ahead and update experience points now. Please note that if the posts aren't edited within 48 hours, obviously the total from the match will go down and you will also receive the -1 penalty per post not edited. On the whole, I'd like to thank everyone for using the system sensibly - I think it's increased activity in the game and all the posts from early on in the game have already been edited, so thank you and well done for keeping on top of them! Remember, you can still post in the game now - it will still count towards experience points! Maggie Callan S5: 9 Josephine Bowman S6: 9 Matthew Dorm R3: 8 (including after-game post) Gabe Javna R4: 7 (Temporary player so can't earn experience points) !!!Tiernan McCoy S7: 7 (1 post requires IC content) Harley Tares R6: 7 (Temporary player so can't earn experience points) !!!Wynd Lehane S7: 7 (1 post requires IC content) Theo Darke R7: 7 Dylan Caioimhe S7: 6 August Reid R6: 6 Williard Thoth R3: 6 (Only 5.5 towards experience as one round spent as Keeper) !!!Ephraim Eades R7: 4 (2 posts require IC content) !!!Sierra Greene S6: 3 (1 post requires IC content) Adalia St John S5: 4 (including after-game post) Stephen Donahue S6: 2 ))

He didn't manage to mark him, but Matthew yelled as Theo swooped by; stealing the quaffle. Ready to take off close behind him, ready for a pass or to mark anyone trying to steal, Matthew was soon stopped in his tracks as the stadium erupted into an explosion of furious cheers. He called out to Theo, in case he hadn't heard or realized that it was over. Stopping and looking around, he seen the yells coming from the green side of the crowd, and sure enough, he soon spotted Josephine, snitch fluttering in hand.
He inhaled and exhaled slowly, not sure whether shaking any of the Slytherin's hands would go down well. The loss dealt Matthew a blow, but his brain rightly told him that it was his first game, that he would learn from his mistakes, and he felt a leap of determination within him when he noted that Ravenclaw would recover. They would.

That was it! Josephine caught the snitch while Slytherin lost the quaffle, nothing the Ravenclaw chasers could do about it now though. Adalia flew down to the ground to meet up with her team and congratulate them on the game, they really did play amazingly well, even if they didn’t give her a single shot to participate. There were all the formalities of shaking hands with the Ravenclaws and Adalia gave them a sympathetic smirk before returning to the change room. One game down… they were going to do well this year.

It wasn't long in her dive that Josephine felt the familiar cool metal on her fingers...the caress of wings against her palm. She felt the thrill as she closed her hand around the snitch. Her whole body holding tight to it as she raised it above her head. That was it! The game was over! She'd caught the Snitch! The crowd of green clad students and fans shouted and screamed as the smile lit up her whole face. It was definitely good to be the Seeker...and the Captain of what was sure to be the greatest team of the school year. Josephine laughed as she flew one last victory lap before setting down on the ground her teammates met her.
"Great game team! We shut out Ravenclaw completely, putting us in the lead for the Quidditch Cup! We'll start our normal practice sessions as soon as possible, until then let's go to the victory party in the Common Room!" Josephine shouted over the cheers as she held the Snitch in the air. "This is the beginning of a great year for Slytherin!"

Maggie thought she'd do great...be able to score in that last moment before the game ended, but the Bludger she'd been attempting to dodge seemed to take a turn in the same direction she'd moved...or maybe she had simply misjudged the distance. Whatever it was Maggie felt the impact like she'd just been run over by the Hogwart's Express. Somehow...by a miracle it seemed...she managed to keep hold of the Quaffle and was returning to score when one of the Ravenclaw Chasers stole the Quaffle right out of her hands. How had she not seen him coming? It must have been the Bludger's fault...the pain had distracted her...and still was.
Maggie started speeding off toward the Ravenclaw Chaser, ready to steal the Quaffle back when the sound of victory entered her ears. She flipped around, her eyes moving around the pitch quickly until she saw Josephine Bowman, their Captain and Seeker, holding the Snitch in hand. Maggie was thrilled to see the that Slytherin had one their first match of the season. She cried out with joy with the rest of the crowd as she flew down to meet her team, not surprised to find her captain going on about the newest practice that was going to be held as soon as the weekend was over. Jo was definitely a hardworking Captain and it was showing off.
