Wynd rolled his eyes with disdain as he heard the yells of his Quidditch captain. Obviously they were not going to sit around and just 'let' Theo score. The Chasers would do everything in their power to impede Theo's journey. Everything that was legal anyway. Jo had made it very clear that she did not want any of the players to be called out with a foul. Wynd darted after the Ravenclaw Chaser and with Stephen attempting to steal the ball, that really only gave him one option. If Stephen could not get Theo's attention off of the goal then Wynd would.

((There have been a few changes in both the Ravenclaw and Slytherin line-ups. Devon has been subbed out of the game. Williard Thoth R3 replaces Devon as Ravenclaw Seeker. Matthew Dorm R3 replaces Williard as Ravenclaw Chaser. Ephraim Eades R6 replaces Matthew as Ravenclaw Beater. Stephen has been subbed out of the game. Sierra Greene S6 replaces Stephen as Slytherin Chaser.

Dylan hits another Bludger at Devon; Matthew attempts to deflect it towards Josephine. Dylan = Bludger (D6 + Str) = 3 + 5 = 8 Matthew = Defend (D8 + Str) = 3 + 4 = 7 Matthew fails to deflect the Bludger; it continues towards Devon.

Wynd attempts to mark Theo. Wynd = Mark (D4 = Dex) = 2 + 6 = 8 Theo = Avoid (D8 + Dex) = 1 + 6 = 7 Wynd marks Theo successfully! Theo will suffer a –2 penalty on his rolls this round.
Stephen focuses on stealing the Quaffle from Theo. Stephen = Focus Steal (D4 + Str + 2) = 4 + 5 + 2 = 11 Theo = Defend (D8 + Str –2 ) = 3 + 6 – 2 = 7 Stephen steals the Quaffle from Theo! Matthew cursed loudly as the quaffle was stolen from Theo. Looking around him, ready to locate a bludger and launch it towards the Slytherin chaser, he realized that he had been subbed. He spun around to look at his captain doubtfully, hardly believing his luck. It was his first ever game, and now he was about to play as a chaser. He moved on his broom, and flew lower to the ground, eagerly ready to get a part of the action, passing Willard on his way. He didn't know what else to say, the adrenaline pumping through his body made it hard to speak. 'try to knock some of them out,' he yelled to him, before laughing, and concentrating on the Slytherin chaser with the quaffle.
During his brief period of being a beater, he had failed to deflect a single bludger, no one who had been trying to defend had admittedly got hit, but that was on behalf of their own skill at dodging. Determined to make a better result of being a chaser, he stopped briefly in the air to locate the Slytherin chaser, his eyes fixed on her, and narrowed slightly, as he launched himself towards her, focusing on stealing the quaffle.

It was her first Quidditch game, and so, being a bit dazed and confused was to be expected, right? Well, apparently not, as Josephine subbed Sierra out faster than she could even say 'Quafflfe' and that left Sierra feeling a bit dejected. It wasn't long though until Jo was calling her back into the game, and Sierra knew that she'd have to act quick to prove her worth. After all, she was a sixth year, so she at least wasn't the youngest on the pitch. And, while she hadn't played in an official match yet, she had plenty of practice with the team.
As Stephen was subbed out, that left Sierra in charge of the Quaffle. This was her chance to show Josephine and the rest of the team why she deserved the spot. Gracefully, Sierra weaved through a pair of flying Beaters before scanning the pitch for an open teammate. It seemed that the only person she saw right away though was an oncoming Ravenclaw Chaser with a look in his eyes that showed he clearly wanted that Quaffle for himself.
As best as she could, Sierra positioned herself in a way that might prevent the Quaffle from being stolen, and she then saw Wynd just ahead. She figured a pass might be appropriate, as he'd been the one to score the first ten points for Slytherin.

There had been a lot of changes in the Ravenclaw lineup, none of which Ephraim really tried to take the time to understand. Be it on the pitch or on the bench, he was happy either way. Quidditch was just fun in general, and he'd support his team no matter where he was. Soon enough, Theo called him back into the game though, and Ephraim didn't question his captains motives. If Theo was deciding something, E was certain that it was in the best interest of the team. You had to trust your captain, otherwise, they'd never pull away with a win.
Noting that one of the Bludgers was already flying at a Slytherin player, Ephraim zoomed after the free Bludger and decided to aim at the Slytherin captain herself, Josephine Bowman. He knew her from an odd encounter in Diagon Alley, and he figured he'd give her a small reminder of who he was, just in case she had forgotten.

Gabe couldn't help but notice how people kept seeming to be leaving and entering the field both captains were making a lot of substitutions. He decided not to try and figure out why, that would be just another thing floating around his head while at the same time he tried to focus on the game. So far the game wasn't going all too well. Gabe hadn't been doing so great so far but he really wanted to change that the best he could. Even if this was his first game there had to be some way he could actually help the team then just flying around and being useless. He watched as one of the Slytherin Chasers stole the Quaffle from Theo and then she looked like she was about to pass it to another player. Gabe just saw it as a chance to do some good for the team and he quickly made his move.

Williard tried to keep calm as he flew around searching for the snitch. Even though he felt like he had a huge target on his back now, he couldn't help but feel at home kind of. He thought of searching for the snitch much in the same way as he would search for a piece of information in a book. He had a keen eye, and with any luck, it would help him today.

Dylan felt a little stab of frustration as Harley fended off the earlier Bludger he had hit at Devon, and another little stab as Devon dodged the other Bludger that he had just hit. But he knew better than to get caught up in emotions. That would get him no where. So, he picked himself back up, and surveyed around and saw that Ephraim seemed to be determined on Jo, but he also saw a Bludger heading for Adalia. Well, Slytherin was in possession of the Quaffle so it wasn't as if he needed to go and help her at this moment seeing as how Ravenclaw wasn't about to score, so he focused on Jo. Adalia could dodge.

Harely smirked as his Bludger successfully was deflected to the Sytherin Keeper, and the Beater that kept attacking Devon just ignored it somewhat and went to the Seeker. It was a good move, sensible, but to the Beater's personal disadvantage, it'd make Harley's day if his Bludger struck the Keeper. He smirked, until he saw that the Slytherin was going for his Seeker. "Not happening, snake..." he muttered, swerving off his aimless path, leaning to where his chin was about touching his broom and handle, and began gaining speed. He was heading toward Willard, the youngest of the team, and playing the most important part. He must be good, if he was subbed into that position. "Willard! Bludger heading in your direction!" he warned, putting his right hand containing the bat to his stomach, and pushing outward to swing at the Bludger.

McCoy could not believe how slippery that little Ravenclaw Seeker seemed to be. He and Dylan had been sending Bludgers at him left and right yet he seemed to be able to dodge every single one. Luckily for them their tactics were distracting him enough that he was unable to search for the Snitch. Even if their Bludgers had not hit him that was enough of a lead that Jo might be able to find it. Ah! the beautiful and mysterious leader of the Slytherin team. If only she would dump that loser Stephen. Even if she didn't, McCoy knew that she could not resist him for long. "You're looking great!" he yelled at the Slytherin Seeker. "I won't be much longer! First I have to help another woman, but don't be jealous!"

For a minute things started to look up for the Ravenclaw team. August had successfully passed the Quaffle to Theo and he was headed straight to the opposite goal. Out of nowhere the Slytherin Chasers seemed to descend on poor Theo and not only was Wynd able to distract him but Stephen was able to steal the Quaffle right from under him. August cursed under his breath. He had been hoping his first game as the vice would go more smoothly than this. But that was part of the fun of Quidditch. Things were unpredictable. August felt the urge to yell out and encourage his team but that would be out of character for him. Instead he clapped his hands and felt foolish.

Maggie's quick flight through the pitch led her to one of the Ravenclaw Chasers. That characteristic smirk was on her face, this would be the victim of her next attempt to take down Ravenclaw. Flipping her head back, getting the stray strand of hair out of her face she quickly moved to get in between the Ravenclaw Chaser and Sierra Greene. He seemed to think he was going to be able to get the Quaffle from her. Well he was mistaken. Maggie was going to make sure she stopped him, as she flew up to mark him.

Josephine was very proud of her team as she watched Stephen steal the Quaffle from Theo before Sierra was subbed back into the game. Hopefully she'd have her head on straight now and be able to actually accomplish something in the game. The snitch was no where to be seen yet and Josephine was now concentrating on watching the game progress while she glanced around the sky feebly. All she wanted was to catch sight of that sweet glinting golden ball.

Frustration was beginning to build; the type Theo rarely felt, yet Quidditch seemed to bring it out from him so easily. He bit his lip, trying to control the bubbling emotions in his chest - his anxiety, his frustration, his temper - and continued to fly towards the scuffle of Slytherin players who had their hands all over the Quaffle; ever since Theo had so stupidly allowed it to be stolen from him. Determined to make up for his previous costly mistake, Theo flew right in front of Wynd's face, eyes narrowed and hands outstretched, ready to knock the Quaffle from his classmate's hands, to fall into Ravenclaw's mercy.

Matthew managed to control his cursing this time, and had to concentrate on not stealing one of the beaters bat's, fly around the Slytherin team and individually knock each one of them out.
He had not expected to be able to steal the quaffle successfully, he understood that everyone on the pitch were far more experienced than himself, but he couldn't help but think he would have stolen it if he had not been marked by Maggie.
Anticipation creeped slowly into his body yet again, as he seen Theo flying head on to wards Wynd, attempting to steal the quaffle. The silent thought of going into steal it as well popped into his head, but quickly vanished as Matthew decided a different choice was needed.
He noticed Maggie, the Slytherin chaser, and remembering how she had marked him just moments ago, he flew towards her, as fast as he could. He didn't know if a pass was expected to her from Wynd, but he knew that she would most likely go off to mark someone, or take a pass.

Watching in astonished silence, McCoy viewed the Bludger that he had let just fly by and on to Keeper. Luckily, she had been able to dodge it. He sent her an apologetic smile and flew after the stray Bludger. He took his bat and hit the ball toward the Ravenclaw Seeker. One way or the other that ball would be headed to the darn Seeker. He waved at Adalia as he left her space and flew back to his one true love, Jo. "I have returned," he told her. "I will always be back to protect you." he continued in his most suave voice.

Harley frowned as the young Slytherin Keeper swerved, dodging his Bludger. It wouldn't have made much of a difference anyways, the snakes had stolen the Quaffle and passed it to the only Chaser that had scored a goal. It was a threat, a big one. And meanwhile, the Seeker was going along, not even having to dodge any Bludgers or anything because the Beaters were hot on their game today. "I hope I change that..." Harley muttered, squinting against the sun and flying toward Willard to defend the poor boy and to cause trouble for that Slytherin Seeker.

Williard still scanned around for the Snitch, still not catching the gold glint. There was so much going on that Williard had a hard time looking out for possible attacks. But he supposed he trusted his Beaters enough, but still he had to be aware of his close proximity. So, he continued searching for the Snitch, all the while looking over his shoulder.

For a slight second Gabe felt a wave a excitement passover him as he seemed to be helping the team by getting in the way of one of the Slytherin Chasers. It soon was replaced with the same useless feeling from before as she was still was able to pass the Quaffle to another player even though Matthew had tried to steal it from her. He didn't let it bother him to much, he couldn't let something like that get in the way. Gabe soon turned his attention on to the Slytherin Chaser who now had the Quaffle. Gabe thought about trying to steal it but it looked like Theo was already on it so Gabe just thought it best to try and get in his way. Hopefully allowing Theo to steal the Quaffle easier .
