Jack smiled. "Or I would swallow the whole matress!" Jack said, patting his stomach. He looked out the window, getting a little bored of Honeydukes since there really was nothing to really do. He wondered if these two would like to go together somewhere. The thought made him grin. It would be fun. This seemed way better than when Mack had met Brooke.
"Would you two like to get out of this shop? I would like to go somewhere more exciting." Jack said with a glance at Bee who he knew would be scandilized about her favorite shop not being any fun. "Any ideas?"

Her laughter was whole, and she immediately became comfortable with these two. She smiled at Jack and shook her head, slightly amused. She looked around the shop. He was right, it wasn't too exciting here. Though Honeydukes was by far the best shop for any type of candy, Mack was in the mood for something to do. They could go to the Shrieking Shack, but once more she was too shy to suggest it. Or maybe, a little voice in her head said, it's a good idea after all. Mack bit her lip in thought and nodded slowly, "I have one. The shrieking shack? We wouldn't go in it...unless you guys wanted to, but it's pretty cool. The ten feet I've been away from it anyway." She suggested before she could catch herself. Mack looked at Bee quickly, then at Jack; "Totally up to you guys though." She told them in haste.

Bee acknowledged Mack's suggestion. It sounded like fun.
"Sounds great! I have never really gone near the Shrieking Shack to be truthful. I've always kind of stayed away from it. But that does sound like it could be fun!" Bee smiled at Mack, who looked a little scared to tell them her idea at first. Then, Bee menuevered her eyes onto Jack. "What about you? You in or out?" Bee asked, grinning all the while. She knew Jack would be in.

Jack smiled to himself. They were getting along. It was amazing, yet Jack couldn't help but feel as if Mack was suddenly changing. Was she being nice for some unknown reason? He ignored all his thoughts and grinned at Bee's question.
"I am so far in, I can't get out." Jack said, and he grabbed Mack's hand and Bee's hand and led them out the door of Huneydukes.

"Watch yourself there, Jack, you might just dig your own grave one of these days." Mack told him with a teasing smile and gleam in her eyes. She looked around and spotted the direction to the shrieking shack, and headed there. Making sure they weren't too far behind, because she didn't after all want to be rude and leave them there while she was so excited to see what was in store.

Jack smiled at Mack's comment but said nothing. He watched as Mack walked ahead a little. He was surprised she was so excited about going with a Gryffindor. And him. He walked faster, Bee right beside him. He wasn't sure what they were going to do, but soon enough they were at the shrieking shack's fence. He was about to hop over it when he decided to ask one more thing of the girls.
"Aren't scared?" He said with a smile.

Mack looked over the fence and breathed in quickly, scared? No. Frightened? Maybe. Mack looked at Jack and Bee and tried her best not to look too frightened out of her wits. She shuddered and crossed her arms against the imaginary breeze, "Me? Scared? Hah! How about you?" She asked, that teasing gleam remaining in her blue eyes that were now ice.

Bee grinned. "Scared? Me? You wish!" Bee said heartily. "I'm just excited!" She hopped the fence without hesitation. She looked back at the other two. "Coming?" She asked rather impatiantly, feeling a bit uncomfotable that she was the only one that had come over the fence.

She breathed in, and closed her eyes. She could feel the wind rush past her as she did a flip over the fence and landed, not so well, on the ground. Rolling down hill she felt leaves and twigs snapping in her hair. Mack let out a scream as she continued to roll. FInally, a rock broke her rolling. She groaned and stood up, holding her head from the dizziness. She ran her fingers through her hair and put her hands on her hips, tilting her hip to the left a ways, "Are you two gonna take all day?!" She screamed up at them with a hint of teasing in her voice.

Jack watched in horror/amusement as Mack started rolling down the hill. He was going to chase after her, but decided not to, seeing as he wasn't even on the other side of the fence yet. He looked around and then jumped the fence, his feet scraping against it, but he didn't fall. He hit the ground hard, relieved that he hadn't started rolling like Mack. He grinned as Mack called up to them.
"It's not fair!" Jack called to her in a whiny voice. "You took a short-cut!" He grinned and started running down the hill to where Mack was. He could hear Bee behind him. Once he reached Mack, he was breathing a bit hard. He wasn't much of a runner. He was looking at the Shrieking Shack, which was a few yards away. It loooked quite creepy, now that they were close up. Jack fixed his eyes on the other two. "Ready to go in?" He asked, hoping his fear wouldn't show through his voice. He wasn't going to be the one who chickened out.

Mack ran her fingers through her hair, a leaf fluttering to the floor. She laughed as Jack whined at her, and she called up to him, "Did you think I meant to roll down this hill?" Her voice was snappy but she was smiling, so she wasn't too menacing. He reached her in a moment, out of breath. Mack looked at his eyes, a glimmer of fear appeared, but vanished as soon as it came. She took out a ponytail holder and pulled her hair back so it was out of her eyes. She then turned to Jack and Bee and nodded, "After you two." She said with a cheery smile.

Jack smiled at Mack. "Scared?" He asked. His eyes showed how much he was too. He looked down, hoping no one had seen it. Mack was one thing, but Bee was another. If she had seen how scared he really was, she would have a laugh attack. Instead, he decided to take this out on her.
"Gryffs have bravery, don't they?" He asked Bee, his eyes shimmering in anticipation. "Go on then, and show us how much bravery you really have!" Jack said, while pushing Bee towards the most haunted house in Britain.

Bee looked at Mack and then Jack. She had outran Jack easily, seeing as she had played soccer and was more athletic. She skidded to a stop at Mack and watched the two. She wasn't surprised when Jack suggested her to go into the Shack first. Bee was always doing things that were stupid, sneaking out at night to the dungeons, stuff like that. She took this as a challenge. And it was lucky for Bee that she loved doing challenges.
"Alright, I will. Seeing as no one else will!" Bee told them, a smile for Mack and a glare for Jack. She stepped forward after being pushed and looked at the Shack. It looked quite creepy, with its boarded windows. She saw a hole in the wall that she could manage to crouch through. She looked at the other two to make sure they had saw what she was going to go through so they could come through too. She then crawled inside.
The floor was covered in dust and some of the doors were making a creaking sound, as if there was wind in the Shack. Bee looked around and noticed some mold on the walls. A chair that was nearest to her had it's leg torn of, and the curtains looked as if they had been ripped. Bee stopped. She didn't know what to do next. She whipped her head around, her blonde hair flying all over, her green eyes staring around, making sure there was no spirits nearby that could rip her or tear her leg off. She then looked back at the hole in the wall.
"Come on inside," Bee said hoarsly, feeling very alone.

Mack watched Bee go in, almost being afraid for her. Of course, Mack didn't show her fright. She merely breathed in and let the cold air fill her lungs. A moment passed and finally Bee's voice could be heard from inside the shack. Mack looked at Jack and sighed, saying she would go next. Crawling on all fours, Mack entered the shack the same way Bee had. She immediately sneezed, there was dust everywhere! She tried to hold in another sneeze, just until she was inside totally, but it couldn't be stopped and she sneezed again. Shaking her head, so she could get in all the way, she nearly tumbled in from the force of pulling herself through.
"Oi, my allergies are going haywire." She told Bee as she stood up and dusted herself off. She took a look around at her surroundings and shivered, very noticably. The inside didn't make it look any nicer than the outside did, and now Mack was willing to let them know she was scared out of her wits.

Jack watched in mild surprise as Bee entered the Shack without any noticable hesitation. He then watched, in even more amazement, Mack go in. He heard her sneeze twice and then say something. Jack couldn't quite understand what she said, the voices sounded muffled from being in the Shack. He looked at the hole he was expected to go through, and then looked up at the sky, which was getting dark, it was evening. Soon they would have to go back up to the castle. Or, they could lose track of time in the Shack. The idea excited Jack, and that drove him to put all his fear aside and go through the hole. He enter the dreaded shack and found out why Mack had sneezed. The whole place was covered in a thick layer of dust. He noticed that the inside looked a bit.... like it had been attacked by something. He thought about all the ghosts that were supposed to haunt this place. He then looked at all the peices of furnature that were missing chunks of stuff. Jack opened his eyes wide in fear, not bothering to hide it.
"No ghost did that!" He said slowly, pointing at the chair that was missing a leg.

Mack rolled her eyes, "Nah, really? Ghosts aren't corporeal. There's no way a ghost did that." She told him in a know it all voice, "It was probably a loose dog or-" There was a scuffling in the corner, Mack jumped a foot and hid behind Jack, shaking hysterically, "What is that?!" She said in a squeaky voice.

Jack heard something moving around in the corner. It scared the life out of him, but he stood transfixed to the spot. He heard Mack jump behind him; he would have laughed if this had been a funny situation. Instead, it was the weirdest situation he had been in. A Gryffindor mudblood was in front of him, apparently frozen with fear, a fellow Slytherin hiding behind him, Jack standing there, and something in the corner moving. He was going to say something, but he wasn't sure if he could trust his voice. He swallowed hard. The thing made a strange noise, a yelping noise that made Jack grab onto Mack's arm very tightly.
"What do you think it is?" Jack whispered, not wanting the thing to hear him.

"I want to think it's a fuzzy pink dog that is lost, because anything else will make me run away in fright..." She whispered back, she felt his hand on her arm, gripping it rather tightly. But her arm was too numb to feel any pain, anyway. She backed away slowly, pulling Jack with her because he was still holding onto her arm. She bumped into the wall, and she jumped forward; afraid it would collapse, with how moldy these walls were she wouldn't be surprised if it did. She nudged Jack forward, "Go see if it's a fuzzy pink dog that is lost..." She told him softly.

Bridget heard the noise and jumped back in fright. She looked back at the other two who were wearing fearful faces that she was sure matched her own. She heard the other two saying things to eachother, but Bee wasn't really listening. She was trying to understand what it was that was making the strange noises. She nudged forward until she was right near it. Whatever it was was behind a large cabnet in the corner. Bee, shaking with fear, motioned for the other two to follow her. She didn't want to do this alone.

Jack smiled at Mack. He felt her nudge him closer to the corner, which was blocked by some cabnet. He held his breath as he noticed Bee had gone so close to the cabnet that she was almost right beside it. He wasn't sure if that was the smart thing to do, but Bee was always taking chances that weren't the smart ones. He looked back at Mack and then inched towards the corner. He looked at Bee and then asked: "Together then?"
