Jack watched in amazement as Mack did some kind of flip. He couldn't help it. He wasn't very acrobatic. He smirked a little at the magic part. "I think I've heard of that before..." Jack said. He grinned at Mack as she asked him to do what she did.
"Alright, I'll try." Jack said, an amused smile playing across his face. "But you have to catch me if I fall." He told her as an after thought. He attempted to do what Mack did, and he did well until the landing. He didn't stick out his feet to land and he ended up falling at a weird angle.

Mack giggled, "Alright, I'll try to catch you. No promises though." She told him before he started to do the aerial. He was great until, well, the landing was always the tough part with people. Mack quickly withdrew her wand before he fell, and muttered something that made a mat appear. Jack landed on the softness of the mat and Mack couldn't help but smile. She held out her hand for him to take so he could get out of the tangley mess.
"Good. Could use a bit of help with the landing, though." She told him with a teasing smile.

Jack felt a soft thing under him. It was a mat. So, Mack had help the hard landing a little. He smiled and took Mack's hand. He pulled himself up and brushed of his clothes a little.
"Oh, be quiet." Jack said, with a similar teasing smile. "You know I did better than you.... Or at least, most of it." He smiled and then sat down. He was glad Mack had put that mat under there, other wise he would have been really hurting.

Mack scoffed, "In your dreams." She retorted, using his phrase. She laughed and sat down again. Feeling quite bored. There was nothing to do anymore. Mack bit her lip in wonder.
"Now, I'm bored. What to do...what to do..." She wondered aloud, hopefully Jack had some ideas on what to do.

Jack grinned as Mack used his phrase. He didn't say anything though. He just relaxed in his chair. Mack's sudden comment made him sit up. An idea raced through his head. A crazy one, but it could be done. He would like Mack to meet Bridget Vreeland. A mudblood Gryffindor, but she was his worst enemy, and sometimes his friend.
"How 'bout this.... We could go meet up with this girl I know. Her name's Bridget Vreeland, a Gryff and a mudblood, but she was some tricks up her sleeve. She is an enemy of mine and a friend, I can't really decide which. So, how about it?"
((If Mack does want to meet Bridget, we could start a new post or I could just change the name of this one. It's up to you. And if Mack says no, that's alright too!))

Her eyebrow rasied in a perfect arc, but unlike her challenging eyebrow raise this one was mere curiousity. She lifted her eyes to look at the ceiling, wondering if this would make an eventful time. Mack looked back at Jack and said, "Why not? Lead the way!" She smiled sincerely and ran her fingers through her hair again, stupid hair, she thought.
((How about you just change the post name, would be much easier and it'd go with the story line better...that's if they have a story line....))

Jack was surprised that Mack had decided to do it. After all, Mack wasn't too keen on Brooke when they had met, wouldn't a Gryffindor mudblood be worse than a pureblood Ravenclaw? He smiled anways and thought of how they would do this. He thought of all the places Bee could be, and his mind rested on one spot. Honeydukes. That was where they had met and Bee said that she was usually there whenever she went to Hogsmeade.
"Alright! First, we are going to have to find her, if she is even here. I know a good posibility of where she could be, so let's go look there." Jack said as he stood up once again. He headed towards the door, through the dancing club, out the door to the fresh air, and then to Huneydukes, where he hoped Bee would be.

She stood up, and was about to follow Jack out when he sped off, "Okay then..." Mack breathed, watching his back as he nearly torpedoed out of the room. She couldn't help but smile as she turned off the lights and closed the door behind her, locking it as well. She pushed past the packed crowd of dancers, and nearly got thrown up into the air by a huge man who was dancing the mambo. Mack shook her head at this sight, trying to get the image out of her head, and managed to make her way back to the entrance. Jack was nearly out of sight, "Hey! Wait up Speedy Gonzales!" She called out to him, a laugh in her voice. She unstrapped her heels and held them in her hands as she ran towards him, her jeans getting wet. She giggled as she caught up, not bothering to put on her shoes again, "God, not everyone is as fast you are, you know that right?" She asked, her eyebrows both raised.

Jack heard Mack coming up behind him. He turned, stopping his walk and saw she had taken of her shoes. He grinned at the compliment, but decided to turn it against her; not to be mean, just to have a little fun.
"Either I'm fast, or you're slow." He said.

Mack slapped him playfully in the shoulder and held onto him as she balanced on one foot, slipping her shoes back on and strapping them again, "That or you're just really really anxious to see this person." She told him with a slight raise of her eyebrows.

Jack scoffed.
"I'm just anxious for you to meet her. It should be like a battle almost. Since she is a Gryff and you're a Slytherin. I'm guessing you wouldn't be able to play nice, would you?" Jack asked, raising his eyebrows this time. "Well, let's get going...." He said, and with a look back to make sure Mack was following. He walked to Huneydukes, without much speed, and opened Huneydukes door. He looked around, then back at Mack, and when he looked back he spotted a blonde head in the back of the store.

"Right. Me play nice?" She made this face and looked at him, and in a very childish voice said, "I'll try my bestest sir, honest I wills!" Mack giggled and chased after him to Honeydukes. They entered and the sweet tingle of chocolate andother types of candy reached her nose. She tried hard to stay focused, not sure on how much longer she could be.

Bee was busy buying candy that she could use for her fun. She had just retreated to the back of the store when she heard the door open. The store was almost empty, so Bee didn't really mind who came in and who left at the moment. She finished looking at the candy and was about to leave the store herself when she saw who came in. She almost screamed. Jack. Jack and some other girl. A Slytherin. Purebloods. Why in the world was he here? Well, Bee wasn't going to hide from him this time. She had seen how bad Jack could get, so she wasn't afraid of seeing a worse side. There was no worse side. It was just Jack. She wasn't afraid anymore. She walked over to them, her eyes peircing the girl and Jack.
"Why, if it isn't Jack Rendel?" Bee said, giving him a look of confusion. She looked at the girl and decided to intoduce herself. Bee was always testing people, and she wanted to know what this girl would do if Bee just did nothing but say her name.
"Bridget Vreeland, or Bee if you wish. Gryffindor, third year, muggle-born." She didn't even bother holding out her hand to the girl, she knew the girl wouldn't want to touch a "dirty blood."

Mack looked to Jack as some blonde girl approached them. Anything for friendship, Mack thought as the girl introduced herself. Giving Bee a genuine and friendly smile, she held out her hand for her to shake, "Mackenzie Holden, Mack if you may, I hate the longer version. Slytherin, third year. It's nice to meet you." Her voice was as sweet as honey and she wondered if she was faking it or actually being nice. Mack really couldn't tell anymore.
"Bee's a unique nickname. Where'd you get it?" She asked, not really feeling embarassed for asking that question. She was curious, and curiosity killed the cat so why shouldn't it kill the Mack? Mack waited, shuffling her feet back and forth, wondering where this conversation would go.

Bee stopped herself from jumping back in astonishment. She stared at the girl, as if she hadn't properly seen her before. A real Slytherin, being... nice? This was abnormal; not right, almost unexceptable. But Bee excepted it anyway. She smiled and shook Mack's hand.
"It's nice to meet you too." Bee looked down at the floor for a second, thinking about Mack's question. "I guess you could say I like to stick out in the crowd." Bee said, her smile back on her face. "I got it in soccer. It's a muggle sport. I was the best on the team, so they use to call me Bee since my team's name was The Honey Bees." Bee smiled sincerely. She wasn't sure where Mack was going with this, but she was going to be a bit cautious anyway. After all, Bee had a lot of experience with Slytherins. And they weren't good either.

"I've heard of soccer. Believe it or not, I've actually played it. Not officially mind you, but for fun and you could say kicks." She laughed at this wondering if she was only funny to herself and not them. She found that she would say something that would be witty in a casual conversation to not be so witty in a formal one. Mack tucked some hair behind her ear and shuffled her feet again. Then she looked up and said:
"You're probably surprised I'm being...so nice, right? I mean, not many Slyths are nice to muggleborns. Some could even say we're rather, cruel. You mustn't have had any good experiences with Slytherins, besides Jack. Or are you two not on good terms either?" Mack asked, her blue eyes shifting from Bee to Jack then back to Bee again. She wondered how they met, but didn't ask quite yet.

Bee laughed along with Mack.
"It's my favorite sport besides Quidditch, of course. I'm the Gryffindor Beater on the team, but so far I haven't been to any games...." Bee smiled at Mack. Then thought about what Mack had said.
"Your right about me not having any good experiences with Slyths," Bee said thoughtfully. "I've met Kris and Mary already and they didn't seem....well, nice." Bee paused for a moment, her green eyes shifting to Jack instead. Did she have a good experiences with Jack? Some, but not many.
"Me and Jack?" She asked again. "We...we're....on friendly terms, I guess you could say. We have had issues and fights that have turned out..." Bee looked at Jack with a meaningful look, "bad. But otherwise, we o.k." Bee ended uncertaintly. She wasn't sure if Jack wanted her to talk about what they had been through together. Instead, Bee looked at Mack, wondering if she had ever seen the bad Jack.

Mack was relieved to hear Bee laugh along with her, that really had bothered her. Thinking she was just witty to herself. Mack was quite uncomfortable around new people, and maybe even potential friends. She wasn't herself and she thought that everyone was out to get her. Watching her every move, analyzing her. She must've picked up that thought from Dix, because that's what Dix did. Analyzed someone when they met. Dix was a witch that way, and Mack hated it when she judged someone before they actually got to know eachother. When Bee mentioned meeting Mary and Kris, Mack sighed.
"Mary can be nice at times, she's a good person. But, Kris? Well, considering he threw me into the lake because I was complaining about..." Mack bit her lip, "about a headache. Not the nicest guy I've met, I'll give him that." She smiled a small smile and recalled that afternoon. Jack had been there, actually. She looked to him and smiled, wondering if he remembered that day as well. When Bee answered her question about Jack, Mack couldn't help but smile and nod. "That's good. I mean, you don't want to have this huge fight with someone who could prove useful and might do a cheer for you," Mack smirked and looked at Jack with a gleam in her eyes, then she looked back at Bee, "now would you? I'm still thinking of a way to talk him into a cheerleading uniform with pom poms."

Jack smiled as the conversation got going between Mack and Bee. It was actually going well, he thought. They weren't throwing insults or yelling and screaming; they were even talking about soccer! Jack shook his head with amazement. This was weird.... He looked at Mack and then Bee constantly, trying to guess what their emotions were. Bee looked a little surprised and Mack looked a bit uncomfortable. He grinned as he remembered the day when Kris had thrown Mack in the lake.
"That was unsporting." Jack commented. He had never quite forgivin Kris for that. It still bothered him to this day. But he was gradually forgetting about it. He grinned at the thought of him in a cheerleading outfit with pom-poms.
"I don't think cheerleading is safe. I might hit you when I do that superb landing on one of the flips." Jack teased Mack.

Mack laughed heartily, she tucked some hair behind her ear, and continued to fidget with her feet. Her bracelet jingled as she twisted her wrist back and forth, as she wringed her hands together behind her back, "Don't worry," she said with that gleam in her eyes, "I'll make sure that air mattress thingy is there. Though, you might get swallowed whole by that. So there really isn't any point in it..." She trailed off, her voice getting smaller a little bit. For some reason she felt intimidated. Maybe it was because Bee didn't aggrivate her like Brooke did. Or maybe it was because Bee was actually making an effort to be nice and not overly friendly. Bee had been apprehensive at first, and maybe that's what threw Mack off. The fact that someone was actually afraid of her. After all, Mack was all talk and no action; until she got mad that is.
