Post by Bellatrix Lestrange on Jul 10, 2005 20:37:05 GMT
Things were going well, just as planned until Dumbledore showed up and took out the vampires in half a second. Bellatrix had a good battle with Dumbledore a year ago but barely came out, it was only because the Dark Lord saved her that she was still free. Now she was here with Nott and Goyle, certainly this was not a fight they could win, especially now that Nott was out cold. Aiming her wand at the ceiling, Bellatrix blasted several streaks from her wand that smashed the chandeliers, sending glass raining down upon the students, next she sent a blast against the walls blowing up the bookcases sending broken beams and wood also flying towards the students. "That ought to keep Dumbledore busy for a bit" Bellatrix thought as she ran towards the door. "Goyle, revive Avery and lets get out of here!"
Running out of the room Bellatrix ran towards the stairway to the Great Hall but coming up the stairs she heard the voices of a couple of professors, "damn it" she muttered to herself and turned around heading down another hallway. On the window were panes of window which showed the grass lawn below them, and up ahead was a room that would above the flower garden. That would be the best place to make the jump from. "This way Goyle!" She yelled as she ran up to the door that read "Student Lounge."

Gregory screamed as a Slytherin suddenly hit him with the Cruciatus curse. What that was for he didn't know. If they were going to do things like this he would have to stun more of them next time. Luckily for him all this was thought in the split second after the pain had stopped but it still reverberated in his head. While the spell was at its full effect he could never think of anything but the pain. Gregory stood up, flashing a cold look at the Slytherin who was now lying on the floor, cold out from her efforts. He shot a 'Stupefy' at her just to make sure she wasn't going to wake up and groaned as he heard the voice of the bumbling idiot who went by the name of Albus Dumbledore. He really was too much of a fool to possess such great magical skills. Spending them protecting the Potter boy.
Bellatrix was yelling at him to get out of there. It certainly seemed like a very good idea. Dumbledore was distracted at the moment. But there would surely be more professors on the way. Gregory muttered "Enervate", pointing at Avery, before sprinting after Bellatrix, not necessarily the most clever thing for a person of his size to do but excusable in this case - he was making an intelligent retreat from Dumbledore. He followed Bellatrix with excitement into the 'Student Lounge'. Maybe his opportunity to get some satisfaction out of taking pupils out was not over yet. Even if things had not gone exactly as planned.

Post by Professor Sybil Trelawney on Jul 10, 2005 23:27:01 GMT
Sybil sat in her smokey tower top room and gazed in the crystal ball that sat on the small table in front of her. Crystal ball gazing required the correct type of atmosphere for it to work properly, and Sybil had actually canceled her afternoon classes to make sure she wouldn't be disturbed. Pale candlelight illuminated the room while soft piano music filled the air. Sybil stared intensely into the crystal ball; watching what looked like black figures running down a set of stairs that she knew ran up to the DADA classroom. The two figures opened a door to the right, and she heard silent screams.
A tapping at her window broke her out of her trance. " Oh, who could that be?" Walking over to the window, she removed the black clothe that she had covered it with and saw a brown tawney owl with a letter in it's beak. Unlocking the window, the hyper owl rushed into the room and landed on top of her crystal ball. It twittered urgently, trying to get her attention. " Calm down dear. There need not be any rush." As she said this, she removed the letter from the owl's beak. Reading the note, her eyes became even larger behind her large rim spectacles. " Oh...dear....." Trelawney grabbed her wand and rushed into action.
Leaving her classroom, she rushed up to the DADA classroom to see a couple of figures rush into a room off the corridor. More worried about who was in the DADA classroom, she pushed the door open and scanned the floor. There were so many students. She didn't know if they were dead or alive.
Kneeling beside as student she knew was a prefect (Nasser), she put her hand on his neck to see if she felt a pulse. Relieved that the student was a live, she pulled out her wand and performed the incantation to wake him up from the stunning spell. "Reverate." The boy started to stir. Looking around, she knew she had her worked cut out for her. Going from student to student, she began to revive them one by one.

Post by Professor Sandra Tyler on Jul 11, 2005 0:14:45 GMT
Sandra had been sitting in her classroom with a Daily Prophet and a book from the muggle world on her desk. Ancient Runes class wasn't scheduled for the day so Sandra decided to catch up on some reading and letters back home. Taking out a piece of parchment she set it down in front of her and took out a quill and began writing. The classroom windows were open and sunlight seemed to make the room shine. The white carpet was spotless and the small round tables had stools pushed inside. It was quite a peaceful site and seemed to relax Sandra more. Finals were already over but there were more plans in need to be made to make the class seem more exciting and not so dull. The only thing Sandra could hear was the scratching sound of the quill on the parchment. But that followed by screams of students running around the hallway. Dropping her writing utensil Sandra ran towards the door and saw a large gathering of students going to the common room. A confused look crossed her face as another sound filled the room. Something was pecking at her window sill. Looking back at the mob of students Sandra ran towards the window and saw an owl hooting loudly. Opening the window Sandra stepped back as it landed on the table sticking its leg out at her. A letter was attached to it addressed to the Professors. Taking the letter she began to opened and started to read. There were Death Eaters in Hogwarts!
The letter dropped from Sandra's hands as she took her wand and ran out of the door and into the mobs of students. "Calm down! Now let me through!" Sandra said rounding the corner and seeing that the classroom was falling apart and Sybil treating some of the students. Taking out her wand Sandra walked towards the front of the class dodging as many beams as she could. Seeing an beam break and was heading students a stunned student ((Jordan)) and was sure it could crush her. "Exterminatio!" Sandra said sending the beam to the wall smashing it into pieces. "Enervate!" she sent the spell towards the fifth year watching her steer around. Noticing another stunned student next to her ((Robin)) "Enervate!" Sandra said watching both of the student wake up. "Hurry up the classroom will fall apart soon!" Sandra said helping the two up and running towards other students who needed help.

Post by Aden McGrogan on Jul 12, 2005 7:35:10 GMT
Aden watched the battle from his position under the table. Suddenly he heard a older voice join the chorus. He knew it belonged to Dumbledore. Wonder-boy went down finally but Dumbledore had come to his rescue. Aden could barely hide his disappointment. The death eaters abandoned their plan and blasted a hole and fled. No sooner had they left when professors flooded the room.
Aden climbed out and stood up among the rubble. Professors moved around him to check on fallen students. Aden looked up and noticed that the beams were becoming very unstable. It was time to leave the room. Before he could move though the beam above him gave way. Luckily he had his wand out. He looked up at and pointed his wand at the falling beam. "Flippendo!" He watched the beam fly away and strike a wall.
Aden passed by a professor, Tyler, on his way to the door. "You professors should do a better job of safeguarding this school. It would seem hogwarts will just let anybody in. No matter if they are muddbloods or Death eaters." Aden smirked and moved past the professor.

Post by Rosaliz Hernandez G6 on Jul 14, 2005 9:54:06 GMT
Rosaliz rushed to her next class, Defense of the dark arts. She ran down a couple flights of stairs, hoping not to be late. She tripped on her robe when running in the hallway. She dropped all her stuff all over the floor. It was a good thing that she was already in the second floor by now. She gathered up her things with her wand and entered her class. A lot of students had already arrived but the bell hasn’t rung yet. She didn’t like to set a bad example jut because she was a first year. Class started. The Professor leaned over and took out from her bag several muggle comic books and tossed them onto the desk in front of her. The professor asked the class a question about vampires but Rosaliz was to shy to answer. It didn’t matter anyways because the Professor already called upon three students. After that the class was assigned to read a paragraph about vampires. Rosaliz read as fast as she could…the text seemed quite simple and straight forward to her. She then asked the class about the vampires characteristics. This time Rosaliz raised her hand, but not to high to draw attention. Disappointedly Rosaliz wasn’t called upon. The teacher then announced the homework. Rosaliz decided to go to the library to get ahead start on her essay. She was glad the teacher gave the class an option. That’s why Rosaliz preferred this teacher more than others.

Post by Professor Julius Foxcroft on Jul 15, 2005 18:02:39 GMT
Julius was finished correcting all the Muggle Studies projects for the year, and was no just adding his final comments on each one, a small rare smile on his face as he picked out the best ones, impressed by the progress of a lot of his students this year. His happiness was short-lived however, an owl he didn’t recognise flew into the room and pecked at his hand so insistently that Julius immediately realised something was up.
Julius rushed into the classroom, fearing the worst after the summons from Dumbledore. He arrived just as the Death Eaters were leaving, and saw Trelawney and Sandra reviving the students. His wand was already out and he crouched down beside the first body he found, that of a fourth year Ravenclaw, not one who was in his Muggle Studies class. He felt frantically for a pulse and felt relieved when he found it and then revived her with a quick flick of his wand and the incantation "Ennervate!" A flicker of life appeared in her eyes and Julius moved to the next two students, both of them Slytherins. The Death Eaters were obviously taking no risks; they had not left out any students, not even the Slytherins who were probably on their side anyway. Another three students were out cold and Julius revived each of them feeling a rush of relief as each one began to get to their feet, and cursing the Death Eaters under his breath though he knew they could have done much worse. He now concentrated his efforts on a small Gryffindor with two pony tails, the Ravenclaw prefect Dana, and finally a Hufflepuff who looked she might be a third or fourth year. All of them stirred as soon as he revived them and Julius wiped the sweat from his brow and closed his eyes for a second, thankful that no-one had been hurt.
Then he noticed Charles Driscoll in a corner next to a Slytherin girl he didn’t know, but then he knew very few Slytherins as Muggle Studies was not a subject most of them took. He was as white as a sheet and said nothing except look at Julius with a haunted terrified look in his eyes that touched Julius and made him want to hug the third year. Charles wouldn’t say anything though as Julius tried to find out what was the matter with him, and in the end Julius turned to the other professors with a sigh. "I'm taking these two to the Hospital Wing," he announced to them, then pulled a Sleeping Draught out of his robes, helped Charles drink it down and put a Levitating Charm on the older girl. He carried Charles who was surprisingly light for a thirteen-year-old and left the room, knowing Madam Pomfrey was the best person to help them right now.
