"Iz fair girl, you play too much still, I givez 5 pointz only for you, go sit now." Looking over the class, there were just a few students left, who to pick, certainly not that one there. Her eyes fell to a girl, "You, you are next you come up now." She said to Samantha. When she was ready, the teenage vampire was let loose on her.

Samantha didn't think twice about going into the next classroom. If a group of mud-bloods weren't afraid of meeting the vampires then she certainly wasn't. In fact, it would be nice to battle creatures other than humans who by now were just easy prey. With her father's training she had nothing to fear. She listened to the lady with the weird English accent and waited impatiently for her to produce the vampires. They were certainly disgusting, but she'd seen worse things. She decided she would use the fire method but with a twist. She said an incantation that sent small wooden out of her wand towards the teenage vampire. The rings then combined to form on large ring encircling the creature and then calmly and with careful concentration Samantha said "Incendio". In a flash the rings were on fire that caught onto several parts of the vampire's body and Samantha allowed herself a small smile of triumph as she took her seat, unperturbed by the gruesome sight of the vampire burning.

"Very good girl, I gives 15 pointz, you no play, you kill right away. Good good." Anastasia then looked for yet another student to come up, and then found one, "You boy, you next, get here now" She said pointing to Charles. When he was ready, the vampire dog was released.

Charles was scared about confronting the vampires; however he was curious enough about them to want to see them for himself. He knew he was much more likely to remember what he had been told today if he actually saw the vampires, as he was sure they would have a deep impact on him, so in the end he convinced himself that Professor Vector would be there if anything should go wrong, and well Hagrid had shown them dragons this year, so seeing vampires now shouldn't be too scary, should it? As it turned out, it was a lot worse. He watched on student after the other deal with vampires and his anxiety just increased and increased. The vampires were revolting, but watching them die as they burnt or had a stake driven through their hearts was more so. His turn came soon and Charles rose from his seat with his hand trembling slightly.
He went for the cat vampire. He tried to convince himself to use the fire method but he just couldn't bear the thought of burning the vampire. He tried to stun it or slow it down, but to no avail. He was just not concentrating enough. The vampire took a swipe at him and that was what it took to get him focused. Suddenly scared Charles yelled "Ferule!" but it didn’t work the first time round, the wooden stake missed the vampire and ended up sticking into the ground. Charles tried once again and this time his aim was true. He took one look at the vampire and recoiled in horror. He sat down in his seat still shaking slightly, wondering why he hadn't just gone away when he could.

Catalina followed the rest of the class to the new classroom, it was actually one of the classrooms that was hardly ever used save for special meetings and such. The hissing noise coming from the boxes was quite disturbing and Catalina sat as far from them as she could, she didn't really want to think about what might be inside them. Soon the next part of the lesson got underway and the hissing noises were from vampires! The first few people seemed to have little difficulty in dealing with the vampires but Catalina wasn't so sure about herself. She ran through a list of spells that she could use, fire would be a good one to use, or sunlight, or a defensive charm like Impedimenta would work well as well.
Soon Dana went up and she seemed to have no trouble at all with the vampires and Catalina looked around the room counting how many people were left to deal with them. She didn't want to be next, but she also didn't want to be the last person either, her stomach was full of jitters as she anxiously awaited her turn.
Her turn didn't come though as Professor Vector set a note down on her desk. Opening the parchment, Catalina read the set of instructions she'd been given, then re read them again. She then turned back to look at Professor Vector but she was looking the other way. Once more Catalina read the instructions before she tucked the note into her pocket. Bending down she picked up her bag, put her book away and parchments also then stood up. Slinging her bag over her shoulder she walked slowly towards the door, slowly due to the fact that someone was fighting a vampire and she really didn't want a vampire jumping on her back. Once she reached the door she walked up of the room and into the hallway. Down the hallway she went for a few seconds until she could no longer hear anything from that classroom. Catalina then broke into a full run towards the Headmaster's office.

"Iz average boy, I givez 5 pointz only, you go sit now." There was now only a couple of students left, "You there, boy with glasses you next." As the boy walked up, Anastasia saw the scar on his forehead, the lightning bolt. "Ah! Iz you boy? Iz the boy who lived! Vampirez iz no difficult for you, I have good one for you, no the rest of class but only you is good for thiz vampire." As the boy walked to the front all the vampires began to hiss even louder as they smelled blood, perhaps something was on this boy? Anastasia watched the boy walk up and then noticed the wet spot on his clothes and she laughed to herself. "Iz no need to be scared boy who lived, no need to wet you pantz!" Anastasia nodded to the second man who then unlocked the last cage that had yet to be opened. Out crawled a nearly full grown male vampire, it was much larger than the teenager one and it's fangs were close three inches long. Without even looking at anyone else in the room, the vampire set off at full speed towards Harry.
While the vampire was getting out of the cage, Anastasia walked to the back of the room to say something to the Professor.

He couldn't focus. He was trying, but it was useless. He was trying to force his attention back to the professor when suddenly he felt something dripping onto his lap. Caught off guard by it, he almost jumped to his feet, but Professor Vector was immediately at his desk and retrieved the scroll that been passed to him, or at least thats what she said. He glanced down at his left leg, a dark wet spot on the thigh of his trousers. He reached a hand down the tip of his finger touching the spot when the Professor spoke again, some sort of instructions for the class he hadn't heard clearly, and he covered it up by just doing as the rest of the class did.
Next thing he knew the students were one by one trying testing their skills at stopping vampires. He watched the first few attempts, most of the students were doing rather well, but even that didn't grasp his full attention. He glanced down at his leg again, the wet spot still obvious. It was then that the professor approached him again, handing him a note. He didn't have to go up if he didn't want to, but the task seemed easy enough and he needed a distraction.
He heard the woman say something about a boy with glasses, and when he glanced up, he knew that she recognized him. He tried to force a smile, but really he wished he could someone wipe that scar off of his forehead. He started forward, glancing over at Anastasia as she said something about a real vampire and then comment on his pants, which he was still confused over. When he looked ahead again, there was a vampire. "Stupefy!"

Albus sat at his desk in his office reading a couple of parchments about some new students for the fall term. All in all it looked like Hogwarts would be receiving a good bunch of students in the fall. While he read an owl flew in from the window and landed on his desk, hooted twice and stuck out his leg with a letter attached. After having removed the letter, Albus unrolled it and read the letter from the Ministry then set the parchment down upon his desk. With wand quickly in hand he set a dozen quills flying to a dozen small parchments and each quickly wrote down a note he dictated.
"Fawkes, take these parchments, recruit more owls if you must, deliver them to the professors with all haste." The Phoenix then spread his wings, grabbed the parchments in his strong talons and flew out the window. No sooner had Fawkes left the room than Dumbledore himself also left the room as he quickly walked down the stairs towards the lower levels of the castle.

Finally the boy was up in front, there was now no more need of this charade. Soon Bellatrix would be out of this stupid robe, she hated red and it smelled awful, of course that was because a dead person was wearing it, of course killed by Bellatrix herself. Up front the moron Goyle still seemed to be having problems with his disguise, perhaps if the fool wasn't so fat he'd be able to fit in it. As she walked over to the stupid Professor she remembered her from her Hogwarts day, she was one of those stupid goody goody Hufflepuffs and Bellatrix was eager to take her out now.
Once the full grown vampire charged at the boy, Bellatrix discreetly took out her and before the Professor could react, a red flash shot from her wand and hit the Professor, knocking her out cold. "NOW!" Bellatrix yelled as once more aimed her wand, this time at the class itself. "Stupefy!" She yelled and hit a Ravenclaw girl ( Sapphire ) squarely in the back knocking her out cold. "Stupefy!" She once again sent a spell this time it hit a Hufflepuff girl ( Jordan ) and she slumped over her desk, out cold. Looking across the room, Goyle was doing his job of simply taking out everything in his path, that was one thing that slob was good for. With wand in hand Bellatrix scanned the room and found Danika still sitting at her desk, "Get down you stupid girl!" She said as she pushed her down in her seat.
Her eyes then began to scan for that Slytherin girl who had run her mouth off earlier in the class, she'd see to that one, Slytherin or not she'd learn her lesson. As she approached the girl, she walked past the McGrogan boy at his desk, "Enjoying the show yet McGrogan?" Bellatrix laughed as she aimed her wand at Millicent. "Stupid girl, I'll teach you some respect! STUPEFY!" A bright red flash of light flew towards the girl. Bellatrix then saw the boy in front of the room still fighting his vampire, "Stupefy!" She said and sent the spell right at his back.

This disguise was itchy. Gregory detested the whole of this stupid outfit actually. For one thing he had to wear scarlet robes. Being his size he found it hard enough trying to be discreet as it was, let alone having to wear the colours of the idiotic Gryffindors. They might treat him as an idiot but at least he had been sensible enough not to be sorted into Gryffindor. They should give him credit for that. He didn’t entirely understand what the plan was. In his opinion it would be better to just go in there and blast them all out. That would bring the boy running wouldn’t it, if he were really so noble and brave? But Gregory resolved that he would just have to be patient. He would get to start teaching Mudbloods a lesson soon enough. Gregory’s head was really itching underneath this hood though. She’d said something along the lines of ‘don’t scratch’, but he really needed to scratch. This was getting unbearable. If he waited much longer he might just hex a student by mistake in his irritation. He would have to do it at some point when she wasn’t looking. As he shut the vicious little cat back in its compartment and fed it some blood, he reached up to scratch his head. He was too slow though, and she spotted it. He was always too slow. Gregory glared at the students now looking at him, trying terribly hard to resist scratching again. It wouldn’t surprise him if this disguise did carry head lice. He felt ten times the itchier for suspecting it.
Finally Bellatrix called on Potter and Gregory released both the cat and the dog at the same time, trusting Bellatrix to release the female vampire. At the same time he swung around and started sending Stunning spells at students. He sent one at the annoying Hufflepuff who had fought off two of the vampires ((Ashley)), and another at a silly little Gryffindor girl ((Melody)). He sent another at an older Gryffindor boy who had a prefect badge on ((Nasser)), and one at the Ravenclaw prefect sitting next to the boy ((Dana)), not stopping to check that all of them had hit. Gregory hesitated for a second, looking for another target, and found one in what looked like a seventh, at very least sixth year Gryffindor ((Robin)). He sent one last stunning spell at the Slytherin girl who had only gone as far as petrifying the female vampire ((Dixie)) before stopping for a moment to take stock of the situation, rubbing his eyebrow as he did so because he so much wanted to scratch. Maybe he was allowed to scratch now, he wasn’t sure. Although much of his frustration had been taken out already by attacking Hogwarts students.

Avery had a simple job, open the cage, let the vampire out, put the vampire back in and give it a bowl of blood, then repeat. It was tedious but soon they'd get to have fun. It didn't take long for Goyle to do something stupid either and Bellatrix reprimanded him for it. It was always good to go on assignments with Goyle, for Goyle always made so many mistakes that any of his own mistakes would be overshadowed.
Finally that boy was up and Avery got to release the full grown vampire on him. In short time spells were flying throughout the class, it was time. Waving his wand he opened the other vampire cages and the cat, dog and teenage vampire all came out and all immediately were drawn to the odor coming from the wet spot on the boy's pants. "Might as well help the vampires" He thought to himself as he aimed his wand at the boy, "stupefy!" And he shot the spell at Harry.

Bellatrix saw now that there were 4 vampires going after the wonder boy as well as several spells, "Having fun yet boy!?" She laughed and walked closer to him past another Slytherin, "Holden I think you'll....." Bellatrix was unable to finish addressing the young Slytherin as she slumped down on her desk, out cold. "GOYLE! Do you KNOW who you just stunned!? Her family are supporters you idiot!" Bellatrix sighed disgustedly, "fine, YOU'LL just have to explain to her parents why you did that."
Bellatrix now drew closer to Millicent who was in dire need of a lesson in manners and respect.

Aden sat back down after dealing with the dog. He watched a bit bored as other students went up. He did feel some anger that he had to only contend with the silly dog and other students got to go against stronger vampires.
When he saw the wonder boy was called he perched up a little. It was time to see what he could. He noticed Anastasia move away to talk to the professor. That was odd, shouldn't she be watching the fight?
The vampire was released and Aden brought his attention back. Potter looked ready to cast his spell when Aden heard a shout. "Stupefy!" Aden spun around at the shout and noticed Bellatrix Lestrange, the famed death eater, standing where Anastasia once stood. Bellatrix began to hex the entire class of students.
The students were going down like flys. Aden watched in amusement. Aden was certain that he was safe from the attack, as long as he stayed out of the way. Bellatrix walked past him and Aden couldn't help but smirk. "Oh yea, things have become, very entertaining." Aden ducked under his desk so he wouldn't be hit by a wild spell. He pulled out his wand just in case one of those vampires decided he would be a tasty snack. It seemed though that all the vampires were more interested in Potter. Aden smirked and watched to see if Potter would be able to handle them all.

Robin watched interestedly as each of the students battled with the vampire, noting their different approaches and wishing he had earned Gryffindor more points. Well, at least he had accomplished the task quicker than most. He watched as Harry's turn came, wondering what he would do.
It happened in a flash, suddenly there was the sound of someone falling down on the floor and the air was filled with loud evil incantations. He could see two Death Eaters and people were dropping down all around him. He took the chance when the Death Eater close to him hesitated for some reason and pointed his wand at him and yelled "Flippendo!" He stepped backwards to try and go after the other Death Eater but tripped over the body of a stunned student and landed on the floor. His wand fell out of his hand and before he could do anything he felt the Death Eater standing over him and Robin knew he was done for.

Gregory grunted with annoyance as his moment of rest was interrupted by the older Gryffindor who was already supposed to be stunned ((Robin)) trying to attack him. Gregory glared at the boy as he yelled “Protego!” and “Stupefy!” He waited long enough to see his second spell hit its mark before turning round to see the fifth year Ravenclaw prefect ((Dana)) was also not stunned. Gregory didn’t understand it. They should all be dropping like flies. Well, most of them had. These must just be the ones idiotic enough to stay awake to be on the receiving end of his annoyed ‘Stupefies’. The other ones just gave you a headache when you woke up. If he was annoyed, you could well get concussion if you were unlucky. Gregory deflected the fifth year’s almost laughable attempts rather easily before putting her out with a whole-hearted ‘Stupefy’. He was about to check that there were no other students still causing problems when he heard an all too familiar sound. Bellatrix wasn’t happy. Gregory wondered what he’d done this time, but couldn’t be bothered to tune in to find out. Instead he decided to take out his frustration on a little Hufflepuff boy standing near Potter who no one seemed to have sorted out yet ((Charlie)). He pushed all his hatred for his tough lot in life – being the underdog – into the spell, as he usually did. Transfer the pain and more onto someone else and rejoice in it as well. “Crucio!” he said viciously, watching with some satisfaction as the weakling writhed in pain before checking up on how Potter was doing.

Perseus had never headed into the next classroom as he had left some of his books in the Slytherin common room and needed to get them. So, as a result, he never witnessed the Death Eaters attacking the other students. As he headed back towards the common room, he heard a clamant voice mandate that everyone had to head back to their common rooms. He whipped his head around to see hundreds of Gryffindor and Ravenclaw students sprinting up the marble staircase while Hufflepuffs were heading down to the kitchens and the Slytherins were all heading his way. Without contemplating on the matter, Perseus could tell that something was going on. It was unambiguous that this had something to do with Potter, Weasley, and Granger. Anything like this always did in the six interminable years Perseus had been here. As the other Slytherins closed in around him, Perseus decided not to hang around and sprinted towards the clandestine common room entrance where he gave the wall the password and it opened to let him in.....

There was a commotion in the room and before they knew it they were under the mercy of the Death Eaters who had seemingly appeared out of nowhere and before anyone could stop them. Charles shivered in his seat, and he held onto his desk so tightly that his knuckles turned white. He suddenly felt very dizzy as he watched one person after the other falling down around him. He didn't know what the Death Eaters wanted but they obviously were planning on hurting someone very badly. He felt rather then saw the eyes of the Death Eater on him and when he turned he didn't have a single moment to even to react to the evil look in the cold piercing eyes staring back at him. He had fallen form his chair and was on the ground before he had even opened his mouth. He screamed as he writhed in pain, rolling around and around, unable to catch his breath and not even caring, the pain was so intense it robbed him of all thought that even a necessary thing like breathing was of no importance.

Post by Samantha Driscoll on Jul 9, 2005 21:21:30 GMT
Sam went and stood beside Millicent, saying nothing as her eyes took in the scene silently, her mind working overtime as she wondered what the Death Eaters had in mind and what to do now. She certainly didn’t mind all those mud-bloods getting hurt as long as she wasn't in the line of fire. The something happened that made her run to the other side of the room as quick as a flash, her wand out and pointed at Goyle Sr. before she had even thought about what she was doing.
Perhaps if she had not known what that pain felt like, the way you felt it attacked all your senses and left you helpless and unable to think of anything else or even summon the energy needed to wish the pain would go away, Samantha might have hesitated or thought about what she did. She rose, and then, with a surge of so many feelings she had never known existed, let alone that she could feel them she let out an angry yell and with her wand fixated on the Death Eater's chest she narrowed her eyes and felt a hate more than she had ever felt in her whole life. She wanted to cause him as much pain as she could, to torture him the same way he was torturing her helpless brother, to make him pay for what he was doing to him, to feel her power and ability giving him a taste of his own medicine. And somewhere, in the back of her mind, even though she did not know in that moment, she was taking revenge for herself and what her father had done to her.
"Crucio! Crucio!" she cried, her blood boiling as the fury inside her became uncontrollable. Every particle of energy inside her was being consumed, like the spell was draining her of all the energy she possessed and transferring it into the pain she could see, yet her wand did not waver, like some invisible force was holding her up and keeping her where she was. She watched Goyle Sr. writhing in pain in a state of confusion before her. She couldn't believe she had actually succeeded in the casting of the Cruciatus. It was not as effective as her father's had been as far as she could see. Her energy was dwindling quickly, and then in a flash of sudden pain her eyeballs rolled into her head and she dropped to the ground, unconscious.

Of course he was the one that this happened to. It was always him. His spell had barley hit the vampire, When he saw something else running at him...It was the dog and cat some of the previous students had done. He directed his wand at the dog, and yelled the first thing that came to his mind "Epoximise!" causing the dogs paws to stick to the floor. Then his attention was directed at the cat. He didn't really want to hurt them, even if this was for house points. He never liked hurting things unless he had to. He raised his wand at the cat, and called out "Locomotor Mortis!" The words had barley escaped his mouth, when suddenly something hit his back, and he realized......but it was too late, and he barely remembered sinking down to the floor.

Albus quickly made his way to the 2nd floor classrooms where the Defense Against the Dark Arts class was taking place. Quickly walking down the hallway he passed the now vacant classroom on his way to the 2nd room where the class was. As he approached, cries of panic were heard from the classroom and he increased his pace.
Rushing into the room with wand out, Dumbledore saw several vampires and Death Eaters unleashed hell upon the class. Spells were flying across the room and one was aimed at the Ravenclaw Prefect Dana nearby. "Protego!" A flash of light engulfed Dana and the spell deflected harmlessly away. Taking a quick survey of the situation, one Death Eater was down already, the rest seemed to be focusing in on Harry now. "Protego!" Again a flash of light engulfed Harry and two spells deflected harmlessly away, yet a third had already hit and Harry slumped down.
His next step was the vampires the dog seemed to be the closest to Harry at this point, "Incendio!" a large fireball engulfed the vampire charring it to bits. "Flamora!" Another large fire ball burst forth and engulfed the small human vampire and the nearby cat vampire. The last vampire, the largest one was backing Harry up towards the wall, "Lumos solem!" Sun light burst into the room and the vampire wilted into a find powder on the floor.
Next Dumbledore turned to the two remaining Death Eaters that were still after Harry and students. "Stupefy!" A red light flashed across the room and before he could react, another Death Eater had fallen, stunned. Now Dumbledore turned to the last Death Eater, Bellatrix Lestrange, once more he'd battle her as he'd done the previous year in the Ministry. "Surrender Bellatrix, you can not win, you must know that by now."
