For a while, Finn decided to tail Adalia. Not too close though, as he didn't want her knowing that he was behind her. He weaved in and out of the other players like she was, hoping that, if she saw the snitch first, he could swoop in and take it before she did. This was the first time he'd ever flown against her that he could remember, and from what he could judge, she didn't really have any obvious advantages. He was fairly confident in his ability to beat her to the snitch if they were neck and neck. But then again, you never really could tell till the time came.

Grabbing the Quaffle off another player was more difficult than some players made it look, Marla discovered. Just as she'd been approaching the Hufflepuff girl in possession, another one (they must have been cloning themselves) popped up out of nowhere and blocked Marla's flight path. The next thing she knew, the Quaffle had changed hands and the Hufflepuff who had been blocking her was gone, speeding off towards the Slytherin goals. Marla looked around for help from Wynd, but he seemed to have temporarily disappeared. Well, she'd just have to give pursuit herself, then.

Finally, she had the Quaffle again! Now time to do what she should have done last time she had the Quaffle. This time they were a goal down and it was imperative that she should score. Sita put on a burst of speed towards the Slytherin goals... nothing would deter her this time!

It was with precise timing that Sita arrived in front of the quaffle and caught Grace's pass in her outstretched hands. There wasn't a moment of hesitation, and she was already firing off towards the Slyherin hoops. Grace closely followed her tail, acting as a protective guardian; prepared to distract incoming bludgers and get in the way of incoming opposing chasers. She would make sure that nothing got in their way. “Go Sita, go!” she screamed from behind her, before maneuvering off to the side to challenge an incoming Slytherin chaser.

Unfortunately Malcolm had managed to defend Adalia from Billy's last bludger, but at the same time Billy had defended Finn from the other bludger, which was now also heading in Adalia's direction. The other bludger that Dylan had deflected was heading back towards Finn, so Billy stuck by the seeker and once again hoped to defend him and attack Adalia. It was turning into a long match, so he hoped that Finn would find the Snitch soon!
At least Hufflepuff still had the Quaffle, with Grace defending it from Marla, passing it to Sita who looked as if she was going to shoot, and hopefully score. He cheered his friend on as the Quaffle flew towards the Slytherin hoops...

Yay, Hufflepuff once again had the Quaffle, as Grace had managed to defend it from Marla and had passed it to Sita. Her younger friend was now attempting to shoot, and hopefully she'd score for Hufflepuff, which they needed, being a goal down! Hopefully Finn would catch the snitch soon, the game was already getting long. Billy was doing a great job defending Finn, and his constant attacks on Adalia were really helpful for the team, the bludgers seemed to be stuck between Billy, Adalia, Dylan and Finn so their game must've been rather repetitive! As was hers to some extent, as she once again tried to mark Wynd incase he tried to steal the Quaffle back or something.

Hufflepuff had scored! Now that would help put a boost in his team's performance. They were now tied at ten, and he could see on the faces of his teammates that they weren't satisfied with a tie. If all went well, perhaps they could go on a scoring spree. Even better, a scoring spree followed by the sighting and catching of the Snitch. One could only hope it would be that easy.

Now THAT felt good! Sita had scored plenty of goals in practices, but this was the first one in a real game (the game against Gryffindor had finished before the Chasers really had a chance to do anything!), and it was a completely different feeling, it was sublime! Beaming from head to toe, Sita flew over and clapped Grace on the arm. "Great teamwork!" she shouted happily to her fellow Chaser.
Now she needed to focus on the game again. Sita flew over to block off one of the Slytherin Chasers who had been rather quiet so far in the game, attempting to shunt her to one side so that even if the Slytherin Keeper did pass to the girl, she'd be left without a supporting team of Slytherin Chasers to help her out.

They were even! Sita had scored, and Grace met her congratulations with budding enthusiasm, giving her a whoop of encouraging momentum and approval. "Let's do this!" she shouted to her, spinning around in mid air to fly straight for the Slyherin keeper.

YES! Sita had scored the equiliser for Hufflepuff! This was despite Marla's attempt to steal the quaffle from her once again. He smiled at and congratulated her as she flew past him, on her way to marking Mordred it seemed. he knew she could do it as she'd been doing so well in practices. In other news, Billy's last bludger had hit Adalia, and he'd successfully defended Finn from the other bludger, so there was one heading in the Slytherin's direction and another free one, which Billy flew over to before a Slytherin could, and hit it towards Adalia...it was getting close, so he put all his effort into his aim.

The yellow end of the crowd cheered with delight as the quaffle sailed through Malcolm's hands. He had been clumsy, he just didn't get there in time. He was too focused on 'all three rings' to hone in on the one. It was Adalia's fault really... that little talk of hers in the locker room... Not that the Slytherin's would punish him any less, but it made him feel better to have someone else to blame. Seeing Marla was nearest him Malcolm tried to lob the quaffle in her direction...

False alarm, it was only the sun glinting off some Gryffindork's prefect badge in the crowd. While she was chasing towards the glimmer however, Adalia heard them call out, hooting and hollering. Hufflepuff had scored and she would be held accountable, she had put the new guy in as keeper. But what could she have done really? Best thing to do now was to find that snitch and end the game before Hufflepuff built up momentum, no one would remember a single goal if they won anyways.
Wynd didn't seem to be taking it too well though, Adalia could just tell from his face. She couldn't risk him getting thrown out of the game though... "Wynd, to the bench, send up April" she called, knowing he wouldn't like being dismissed but would be best off getting a bit of a break.

((There has been a change in the Slytherin line-up! Wynd has been substituted out of the game. April Stewart S7 has been substituted into the game as Slytherin Chaser.

Yes! That bludger also hit Adalia, but she could still continue looking for the snitch, just about. At least he was helping Hufflepuff, though Finn still hadn't had much look with finding the snitch, and was greatful for Sita's advice even if it had reached the pestering stages! He was half planning to ignore her completely to prove a point, but had realised that that would probably do much more harm than good, as it was good advice, if not slightly mean...but then again it was Slytherin so it was necessary meanness!
The game was going well for the Huffles in general, with Grace now intercepting the pass to get the quaffle. Now Wynd had been substituted out of the game hopefully it'd give them the advantage!

The pass flew through the air just as she had anticipated, and located directly between Malcolm and Marla, she conveniently caught the ball in it's mid delivery towards it target. These were the tactics they had practiced in training all week – stay fast, stay smart, stay agile – stay in control of the game. Not a better control could be established, and Grace was more than determined to keep it up. She knew the team was capable. It was with increased adrenaline that she raced out of the immediate direction of the Slytherin team, shooting towards Sophia and throwing her the ball. She could picture the next scene, the quaffle being caught and bolted through the top left hoop, the celebration, the enthusiasm rising as their tactics played off.

This was getting irritating. Some pesky Hufflepuff Chaser had gone and intercepted a pass that had been sending the Quaffle Marla's way, and she had yet to gain possession this game! To make matters worse, Wynd, their star Chaser, had been substituted out of the game for some reason! Had Adalia lost her mind? Her brains must have been addled by all the Bludgers that had hit her, Marla couldn't reason out that move at all. Maybe Wynd had signalled that he needed a loo break? Marla certainly couldn't think of any other reason they could afford to lose him at this point in the game, when Hufflepuff were threatening to dominate.
Without Wynd they were fighting a losing battle, Marla was almost sure of it, but it didn't mean that she was just going to sit back and do nothing, she wouldn't be able to set foot in the common room if she did that. So she flew up to the Hufflepuff in possession, something that was beginning to have an unsettling familiarity to it, and started trying to knock the Quaffle out of the girl's hands.

"Go Grace!" Sita whooped happily as her teammate intercepted the Slytherin Keeper's pass. Now Hufflepuff were beginning to dominate, although she had to drive away the feeling that it was only because Wynd had been substituted out of the game, she had no idea why, but she did know that it was good news for Hufflepuff. They were still fielding an excellent side of Chasers. She glanced towards Billy and saw him aim a Bludger at the Slytherin Seeker, the tactics she'd recommended to him at tea yesterday evening, maybe several times over to make sure he got the point. Not that she thought he was stupid - she knew that he was better than her at many subjects - she'd just been doing her best to drive the message into his subconscious. From his play today, he did seem to have got the point...
Grace was racing towards the Hufflepuff goals, but again she wasn't going to make it there unmolested. Sita saw the same Slytherin Chaser who'd been in all the action in the past few minutes going in to steal the Quaffle. She made her movements too obvious, Sita thought critically, there was no element of surprise. But if the Slytheirn was strong enough there was still a chance Grace might not be able to hold her off... Sita flew very close from behind, nudging her broom forward, attempting to drive a wedge between Grace and the Slytherin girl, wanting to give Grace more opportunity to time her next pass.
