Gryffindor vs. Ravenclaw!

[Bradley Jameson]

Bradley swept the Quaffle into his arms moments before Woodrow, and breathed an inward sigh of relief as he gave an outward yell of triumph. However, his concentration soon switched from the Quaffle to the more elusive Snitch. Bradley looked up just in time to see Danny's fingers close around the golden ball, and Bradley, along with many others in the stadium, roared their delight together as one. "YES!" Bradley whooped, throwing the Quaffle into the air and catching it with joy spread across his face in the form of a large grin. Gryffindor had won, and he was on top of the world.

[Danny McKay G5]

Danny could feel it in his fist as it tried to get away from him before giving up and returning into it's ball form. Danny slowed down and looking at what he held and just smiled. He caught the Snitch for the second time and this was only his second game, if he could keep winning this would be a prefect winning streak to begin any Quidditch career with. Danny thought with a huge smile a crossed his face then finally realized how loud the crowd of students were yelling and cheering along with the other Gryffindor players. Danny held the Snitch up showing it off slightly as he slowly went down to the ground where the rest of the team was and would already be celebrating. Danny was sure what most of them would be doing, most would be all smiling and congratulation each other. While Danny was sure their Vice captain would be jumping all over the place. Just thinking about Zoey made him laugh as he already could tell as he reached the ground she was excited as always and before he knew it she was already run towards him.

He just smiled as Zoey congratulated him on winning once again without a dragon, he was about to say something but he quickly forgot what that was as Zoey pulled him closer and kissed him. Danny was shocked for a second then happily gave in to the kiss. Danny just smiled as Zoey pulled away and he saw how red her face was and how shocked she looked herself. He could tell his face was slightly blushing but not as bad as Zoey. “Well if that's what I get for winning the game where's my prize for winning that first one?” Danny said with big smile as his face got slightly more red cause of all the people around them. He had been wanting to get closer to Zoey for awhile but he didn't expect it to happen with the whole school watching.

[Woodrow Winchester R4]

" Can't you pick on someone your own size?" Woodrow yelled at Bradley with a laugh. He had just barely beaten Woodrow to the Quaffle. Giving chase to him, he was momentarily distracted as a roar came from the Gryffindor side of the pitch. Looking around, he saw that Danny had caught the Snitch. Hanging his head, Woodrow frowned and was momentarily saddened by the loss. Not wanting to be a bad sport, he shouted, " Good job Gryffindor, you're all going down next time!" He clapped for a few seconds, then looked around for his teammates.

Seeing Williard, he flew by him and said, " Tough luck mate, but don't worry, you did better than I did. I had the Quaffle for about twenty seconds." Giving his friend and teammate a friendly smile, he searched for his vice captain. Spotting him on the ground, he flew and landed next to him. " Sorry Matt, I wish I had done better. I think there is a silver lining though, next time we'll be really focusing on getting revenge, whereas they'll be coming in with the confidence that come with victory. They might not know it, but they've just awoken a sleeping giant." Giving his vice a slap on the back, he began to march off the field singing " A raven's wings are black as night and it sings while in flight! Be careful when you reach that peak, 'cause the next thing that you get will be its beak!"

[Matthew Dorm R3]

It was over. A dull thud echoed inside him, feeling his adrenaline and enthusiasm being deflated slowly at the sight of the Gryffindors celebrating. He had a brief experience of captaining a team, and judging by how quickly the snitch had been caught by the opposing team, he couldn't help but think he hadn't done a good job. Rotating on his broom, he yelled encouragement to the players, saying that they had been unlucky, that it just wasn't their day, as he lowered his bat and flew to the ground. Woodrow, fresh determination in his eyes, approached him and spoke some encouraging words. Laughing and shaking his hand, Matt congrutaluted him on his performance, and as he walked off the pitch in song, so did Matt, yelling a loud congratulations and flashing a thumbs up to Zoey as he did so.

[Williard Thoth R4]

"Tough luck mate, but don't worry, you did better than I did. I had the Quaffle for about twenty seconds."

Williard only half listened to Woodrow as he slowly descended to the ground. He was so disappointed with himself and knew that he probably shouldn't take it as hard as he was, but he was the bloody Seeker, for crying out loud. He had yet to catch the Snitch in an official game, and it drove him insane. He worked so hard, and after all this time, he still hadn't seen any fruits from that labor. That's all he kept hearing; your day will come. But when exactly was that glorious day supposed to arrive? He was so sure that he would be able to catch the Snitch today, and win it for his team. But, everything went the opposite way, and Williard accepted it. There was only one thing left to do; keep working and training.
