She grinned as he suggested the 'getting sidetracked'. Thomas told her that he would do his best to make sure she never felt bad again. "Sure, let's go." Elisabeth's cheek was burning where he kissed her, and she held his hand as they began to walk away from the pier.
The moonlight shone onto the water, and she could see the reflections of them in the surface of the lake. Everything is so peaceful she thought. I hope it stays like this. A slight mist rose off the lake as the air started to grow colder. Elisabeth looked up at the stars again and noticed that a few clouds were beginning to appear. She wondered - and hoped - that it would rain again. "So, about what you said before, about sneaking me in....were you serious? Because, if you were, than we should devise a plan...." With this she added her mysterious smile, and waited while Thomas thought.
