Elisabeth saw Thomas eyeing the bottle curiously, and he seemed a little unsure of what to expect. Ha! I love confusing people. she thought. He asked about the surprise...he didn't seem to like the idea. "Don't worry. The stuff in the bottle isn't for you, it's for me. And the surprise isn't anything bad either...I'm just going to take you somewhere that's really special to me." Still holding his hand Elisabeth began to walk slowly down the streets. She watched the people doing their shopping and other varioius activities.
After a few minutes of walking down the crowded streets the shops ended. It was slightly misty ahead from the rain - which still fell lightly. Elisabeht couldn't see much, but she knew where she was going. She let go of Thomas' hand for a moment to face him. With another one of her impish smiles she asked, "Do you trust me Thomas?"

Thomas was kind of relived when she said it was for him then got a little more concerned when she said it was for her. Thomas just kept wondering what she was thinking or planning but it seemed she already had things planned Thomas followed her still holding her hand. Thomas wondered where they could be going but then he gave up thinking about it and decided he'd just wait till he got there to find out. Then they walked down a crowded street and passed some shops. Then they walked somewhere which it was hard to see because of the mist then she let go of his hand and turned to face him, she was right in front of him.
She then asked if he trusted her and Thomas just smiled. "Well lets see I don't get any other choices? Maybe phone a friend?" Thomas said with a smile that showed he was joking then he got serious. "Yes I do." He said still smiling.

Elisabeth smiled. Thomas was always laughing or making a joke. But he got a little more serious after she told him that the contents of the bottle were for her. She hoped he didn't think she was going to do anything bad. He - yet again - joking answered her trust question. Then - suddenly more serious - he said that he did trust her.
She walk back next to him and took his hand. "Wouldn't want you to get lost." She said jokingly. Elisabeth lead him through the mist. After a while the mist fell away and they were standing in front of a lake. The lake was a deep blue, and behind it you could see the green hills falling away back into the mist. Elisabeth let go of Thomas' hand and stepped out onto one of the piers that stuck out into the lake. Elisabeth walked to the end, and stopped. "We have arrived." She announced, gesturing to the lake behind her. "Do you want to sit down...we'll make sure your legs don't fall asleep."

Thomas laughed when she grabbed his hand again saying the same thing he said just to hold her hand. "Well I can tell you feel better telling jokes now I see." Thomas said laughing ,Thomas kept following her after she asked her trust question which seemed kind of odd but this whole day has been like that. When he left his uncles house he didn't feel like walking to begin with but he was glad he did or he would have never have met such a great girl. Thomas finally noticed the mist was becoming less dense then there was a lake.
they walked to the end of the lake and there was a pair. Elisabeth then let go of his hand and walked to the end of the pair and asked him if he wanted to sit down and his legs wouldn't fall asleep which his leg had woken up totally a few minutes ago. Thomas walked to the end of the pair. "Sure anywhere your sitting is fine with me." Thomas said sitting on the edge his legs dangling from the pair. "So what’s so special about this place if you don't mind me asking?" Thomas said then noticed he sounded like he didn't like this place. "What I mean to say is this place is great and all but umm. .why here.?" Thomas didn't want it to sound like he hated being here or anything.

Elisabeth just smiled at Thomas' comment about her being able to make jokes again. She was glad that he had followed her this far. He sat down at he edge of the pier with his legs hanging over the side. Elisabeth did the same, her feet just skimming the water. He asked about this place, and why it was so special to her. She was quiet for a moment, just staring at their reflection in the water.
"This place brings back so many memories. My father used to take me here, before he....left. And after he died, I would come here to write and just think about everything. This was my sanctuary, through everything that has happened to me. Until last week, then it....." Elisabeth paused for a second and a shadow fell across her face, but then the smile was back. "This place holds almost nothing but happy memories, and I want to add the memory of today to the collects of joyful moments I've shared here." She smiled at Thomas, her face red and an embarrassed smile on her face. "I also need to make more happy memories to mask the unhappy ones." She held his hand again, and looked into his eyes, awaiting his reply.

Thomas just smiled when she had down right next to him. Then she started to explain why this lake was so important to her. He listened not missing a word, what she said it was kind of sad till she then start all the memories from this place were happy ones then Thomas just smiled looking at her. Then she said she wanted to add all the memories from today to all those at the lake and Thomas just smiled even more. Then she held Thomas hand, Thomas put his other arm around her neck. "I'd be more then happy to be another head on your happiness wall." Thomas smiled then laughed saying it as a joke and not something bad. "Jeez that sounded dumb." Thomas thought to himself.
Thomas held her close to him. "But I'll be serious now, I'm glad you showed me this place and told me all that stuff." Thomas said looking right at her face. "Thank you." He said in a low voice still smiling and blushing a little.

Elisabeth was so glad that she met Thomas. He listened with real interest to everything she said. He smiled at her all the while, completely unaware of the memories that were playing in her head. She felt her heart race again when he placed his hand around her neck and shoulders, it just felt so natural to her. He said he was glad to add to her happy memories...in his usual joking manner.
She smiled as he pulled her closer. "But I'll be serious now, I'm glad you showed me this place and told me all that stuff." She was glad too, it felt good to be able to share things with someone. His voice was soft, and was slightly blushing again. The rain intensified as Elisabeth wrapped her free arm around Thomas' neck and kissed him.

Thomas just looked at her face and into her eyes then she put one of her arms around his neck. She then started to kiss him, Thomas was a little shocked but then just closed his eyes and went along with it. As they were kissing he held her even closer to him. It may have only been a few seconds but it seemed more like a few minutes when they broke off the kiss. Thomas's face was all red when they stopped and he just had a big smile on his face. Thomas didn't know what to do or say he for a few seconds Thomas just smiled. "Umm I guess now I got some great memories here too." He said still blushing and laughing a little. He was still holding her next to him and he didn't really want to let go.
Thomas just smiled his face finally starting to return to it's normal color. He was still just looking into her eyes.

Elisabeth fought the urge to laugh at Thomas' reddened face. After the initial shock, he had gone along with the kiss...even kissing her back a bit. It was wonderful. Elisabeth felt as if they were the only ones in the world; like nothing else mattered. Thomas had pulled her even closer to him as they kissed. Reluctantly they broke the kiss, and just looked into each other's eyes. Elisabeth smiled when he mentioned that he now had good memories here as well.
Elisabeth felt her face stop burning, but she noticed she was shaking. It's just from the memory of what happened...calm down. It's different now. Elisabeth kept telling herself that. She broke eye contact to rest her head on Thomas' shoulder once again. She held his hand, trying to stop her limbs from shaking and the memories from ruining this perfect day.

Thomas just looked into her eyes till she turned her head to rest it on his shoulder. Thomas then turned his head and looked out to the lake. Thomas didn't notice it before but when he was holding her it felt like she was shaking a little for some reason. Thomas thought maybe she was cold but then knew that couldn't be it. "She can't be cold it's summer time, also it doesn't feel that cold out here." He thought to himself looking out to the lake. Thomas then turned his head back to her and only saw the back of her head. Thomas wanted to know why she seemed to be shaking but he waited a little bit more.
Then Thomas gave up trying to figure it out on his own. "are you ok?" Thomas said in a low voice but still loud enough for her to hear him. Thomas hoped he hadn't done something bad.

Out of the corner of her eye Elisabeth saw Thomas stare out at the lake. I Hope I didn't freak him out to much. They sat there for a few silent moments, just holding each other. She tried to stop her body from shaking, but with no success. Thomas, in a low vice that made her chest constrict, asked her if she was alright. She closed her eyes for a moment, carefully considering her reply.
"To be honest, I'm not entirely sure. Partially, I'm a little shaken up from that kiss. Nothing bad though; it's just that I've wanted something like this for so long, and I guess I'm a little scared. But mostly, it's from a memory that I can't escape." Elisabeth took a deep breath and began to tell Thomas what she had yet to tell another living soul. "I told you that this place holds many happy memories, but it also holds some bad ones...one in particular. About a week ago, I snuck out of the house in the middle of the night to meet Jack here...in this very spot. We started to kiss, and carried on for a while. Then he asked me to do something I really didn't want to do. I refused, and he got angry. I assume you've seen the scars on my arms...these two *points to twin marks on her left arm, near a cut that looks fairly new* and this *shows Thomas a bruise on her neck* are the results of his anger. He didn't force me...just hurt me. That's why he broke up with me...because I said no. The rest of the scars are from...something different. I've tried to forget what happened, but I can't. And I guess when we kissed, I couldn't help but remember what happened; even though I know that you wouldn't do that...I don't know how or why, I just know." Elisabeth had started to cry again, and she was shaking even worse now. She held his hand even tighter and cried lightly on his shoulder. Well, I told him the truth, and now he'll probably stay as far away from me as possible. She just sat there, crying on his shoulders...hoping with all her heart he never let her go.

Thomas looked at her and then she started to explain why she was shaking. Thomas listened to her completely still holding on to her. He could barely believe what he was hearing about the part where someone hurt her. That was something he couldn't stand, some guy hitting or hurting a girl. One of Thomas’s hands balled up into a fist but then it went back to normal He was pretty mad about it but he just looked at her with his arms around her. He was glad when she knew he would never do something like that, for a second he thought she thought he might. Thomas turned his eyes back to the scars she had then back to her. ” I can't believe someone would do that." Thomas thought to himself.
Thomas kept holding her, she started to cry on his shoulder. Thomas put one of his hands to her face and wiped some of her tears. " Your right I would never do something like that." He said looking at her not a smile on his face. "If you need a bodyguard or something I'm always here." He said his hand still to her face.
(OOC: Don't worry about it I wasn't here half the time.)

As Elisabeth cried, Thomas wrapped his arms tighter around her. She was glad he was here, she felt so protected in his arms. The tears slowed and he lifted one of his hands to wipe away the tears. This helped to bring her out of the memories and stop the tears. She turned to look at him. He didn't have any hint of a smile or laughter about him at all. Elisabeth felt relieved when Thomas said he would never hurt her like that. And he offered to protect her, that meant so much to her.
"Thank you so much." Her voice still sounded full of sadness and pain. "You have no idea how grateful I am that you're here. And thanks for the offer but I don't think Jack will ever come back...he's probably found someone who isn't saving herself and will do whatever he wants. But the best thing you can do is protect me from myself. Help stop me from....help me find a better way to deal with my pain. Though if you decide to stick around and be a part of my life I probably won't have much pain to deal with." Elisabeth looked out across the lake and blinked away the new tears, not wanting to cry again. She just wanted him to stay so much; she needed someone like him in her life. She removed his hand from her face, and held it with her own again. She looked at him again and fought the urge to kiss him again; she wanted to but she didn't want to scare him away. So in the end she just looked up at him and waited for him to make the next move.

Thomas made a smile he was happy she had seemed to calm down a little but still looked very sad. Thomas just looked at her as she was talking about how she thought she was safe from him now. Thomas in the back of his head wished jack would come out of no where just so he could knock his lights out. Thomas knew he wasn't the strongest but right now he was a hundred percent sure he would do it. Thomas didn't know what to say the way he normal dealt with things was make a joke and make people feel better but he didn't see anyway a joke would help right now but Thomas decided to give it a try.
"Darn and I was going to ask for one of those kisses a day as payment for me being your bodyguard." Thomas said with a weak laugh at the end of it. Thomas just looked at her when she started to look back at him. He didn't even think about it, it was like his body did it on it's own. Thomas just slowly moved closer to her and started to kiss her.

Elisabeth was grateful that Thomas didn't ask what the other scars were from...though she needed to tell him at some point. It would be so much easier if he just asked. Or asked about 'my method' of dealing. She was debating whether or not to tell him the truth when he said "Darn and I was going to ask for one of those kisses a day as payment for me being your bodyguard." He added a weak laugh at the end, she could tell he was trying to cheer her up. She was just about to make a reply when he leaned closer and kissed her.
Elisabeth didn't even think. She just closed her eyes and kissed him back. She had never felt anything like this before. She just wanted this moment to last forever. she felt like this moment could last forever.
(OOC: I'll leave the rest of the kiss up to you...you can god mode her a bit if needed.)

Thomas just kept his eyes closed and put his arms around her. Kissing her felt so natural to him and he didn't really want to stop. With his eyes closed he felt her put her arms around his neck. They just kept kissing for what seemed like forever Thomas just kept holding on to her while they kissed. then they both broke off the kiss at the same time. Thomas just smiled blushing a little but a lot less then before. "Well I guess that covers two days as me being your bodyguard." He said with a big smile on his face. Thomas looked down at the marks on her arms, she had pointed out the ones jack did to her but he wondered what the others from and Thomas kept asking himself. " What did she mean by dealing with her pain another way?" Thomas asked himself.
Thomas didn't know if he should ask but the question was flying around in his head and he couldn't stop it. "Umm if you don't mind me asking right now what did you mean by dealing with your pain another why?" Thomas was going to ask about the scars next but the guess this one question would answer both of them.

Elisabeth melted into Thomas' arms. After a few tender moments that felt like forever, they broke the kiss. Thomas made another comment about the kisses covering payment. With laugher in her voice she replied, "Well if you are really so determined to have one - or more - of those a day, I'm sure we could work something out." Her devious smile was back, and her eyes shone with an intense fire. He started to ask her something so she quickly faced him and looked him in the eyes. "Umm if you don't mind me asking right now what did you mean by dealing with your pain another way?" Elisabeth looked out across the lake, trying to find the right words to describe what was in her past. Not wanting to disturb Thomas' hold on her, she just turned to face him. "I've gone through a lot of really hard things in my life, and I'm not always very good at dealing with my emotions in a rational way. These scars are from my way of dealing with the pain. The bottle I took earlier has a healing lotion inside that helps my scars fade faster. Like this scar *points to one on her right arm that looks very faded and old* is actually from 4 weeks ago. Most of them are older though, I didn't start using the lotion until about a year ago. And this one *motions to the new-looking scar near the ones from Jack* is actually not that old at all. It's from today actually." Her eyes burned and a single tear slid down her cheek, but she was determined to let herself cry again. She reached into her pocket and pulled out two things: the bottle of lotion and something that looked like a Swiss Army knife. She flipped open the knife with amazing ease and grace. The handle was black with a white rose inlay, and a name was inscribed on the blade, Kyle Desmer. She shut the blade and placed it and the bottle on the pier in front of her and Thomas. "So now you know the truth. I thought it was important that you knew, especially if there is any chance that you and I....could ever be in a relationship together. But if you don't want to be with me now, after knowing this I understand." She wished with all her heart that he wouldn't leave. She knew that he could help her change. She just looked up into his eyes again; the same fire and intensity in her eyes, but now the smile was gone and twin tears ran down her cheeks. (OOC: I am so sorry agiain that this took so long, parents )

Thomas listened to her and started to felt really bad and wasn't sure what to do or say. He heard about kids and other people doing that sort of thing from T.V. and Muggle magazines. Then she placed the potion and knife on the pair between her and Thomas, he didn't know really what to say. He kept listening as she talked then she was done talking she just looking into his knife and he turned to the knife he could see a name on it. Thomas picked up the knife and looked at it for a second. Then he raised his arm like he was going to throw it, He faked like he threw the knife and then put it back on the pair. It would have actually thrown it but it had a name on it so it had to be special.
"From now on you just pretend I threw that into that lake." He said Looking into her eyes. "And don't be silly o course I'm going to stay with you..." Thomas said blushing a little realizing what he said. He meant what he said but now he felt a little embarrassed he said it. " Umm... what I meant to say was..." Thomas just gave up trying to find another way to say it. " Ok that was I really meant to say." He said looking into her eyes a little smile on his face wondering how dumb that must have sounded.

Elisabeth was about to scream when Thomas almost threw the knife into the lake. It was so special to her, and she didn't want to lose it. Then he placed the knife back on the pier, and told her to act like he threw it. Then told her he was going to stay with her. She felt a smile spread across her face, but it seemed wrong to smile at a time like this so she stopped it fell back into the neutral mask she wore so often. Thomas stuttered for a minute, she supposed he was embarrassed at the way he responded. So she kissed him quickly, as a thank you for everything he was doing. She looked up at him, the tips of her ears and her cheeks just tinged with red. Then she made what was possibly one of the hardest decisions in her life so far.
"Thomas, that knife is something really special to me. It was my fathers, Kyle Desmer, that was his name. I've held on to that knife since he...left, and it really hurts to even think of parting with it. But I think you should take it. I mean, I could probably find something else to...cut myself with, but this might be a good idea. But, honestly, this is going to take a long time to get over and I think the best way to help me is to just...be there for me. I'm really glad you're staying, I want this so much; you have no idea....how much I want this."
Elisabeth's voice faded, and she just looked up at him again. She felt her heart race, and her blood heated up just looking at him. She replaced the pain and sorrow in her eyes and face with a devious smile and the fiery intensity in her eyes. She wondered if Thomas had any idea how he made her feel, and if she made him feel the same way.

Thomas wished he hadn't pretended to throw her knife in the lake when he saw the face she made. Then after he was done talking like and idiot she kissed him quickly Thomas's face got red and he could see her face was getting red too. Then she started talking about how important the knife was and how she thought he should hold it. Thomas then lied back on the pair picking up the knife again and holding it up. " No I think you should keep it." He said putting down. "It's from your father so your the one to keep it. Just remember there are people who care for you they wouldn't want to see you hurting yourself." He lied back looking at the stars which he thought was funny. He it was raining a few minutes ago now the sky is kind of clear. There was still a few clouds in the air.
"You can also add Another person who cares about to that list." He said still on his back but looking over to her with a big smile. Then looked back up at the sky he closed his eyes and thought to himself. "What a day..." Thomas thought to himself with a smile.
