Crying in Dublin (anyone)

Elisabeth was kind of relieved when Thomas refused her offer for him to take the knife. She picked it up off the wooden planks and placed it in her pocket. Thomas mentioned the same thing she had told herself to get her to stop, people cared about her and she didn't want to scare them. Then she saw Thomas Lay back on the pier and stare up at the sky. Elisabeth just smiled when he said the she could add him to the list of people who care.

Elisabeth lay down next to him, but just looked at him instead of the stars. Part of her wanted nothing more than to stay here all night, be she was also afraid of what could happen. But she didn't care. She moved closer to Thomas and pushed away a stray lock of hair that had fallen across his face. She held his hand again, she wanted him to know how he made he feel but she couldn't find the words to describe it. So she just kept looking at him, wondering if she should bother to kiss him again.

Thomas was still looking up he always liked looking at the stars he wasn't much into astronomy but he just liked looking up and watching them twinkle. He then turned his eye to see Elisabeth lying down next to him. He turned his head and looked over at her. Then she pushed some hair out of his face. "So now your copying me from before?" Thomas said smiling then laughing. Then she held his hand and Thomas smiled a little more still looking at her. He then put his arm under her neck and went back to look up at the stars. One was catching his eye the most it wasn't the north start but it was almost as bright and twinkling.

He then looked over back over at Elisabeth. "So what do you want to do now? Besides stare at the stars?" He said looking into her eyes. He asked just in case she wanted to go home or something.

Elisabeth smiled when he suggested that she was copying him from before. She lifted her head as Thomas placed his arm around her neck. She was thinking about what an amazing day this turned out to be, when he asked her if there was anything she wanted to do. "Honestly I could go anywhere as long as I'm with you. I'm perfectly content to stay here with you, look at the stars, talk and," with another devious smile, "probably kiss you some more. But if you want to go somewhere, or if you need to get home seeing as it's kind of late, that's fine too." She just looked right back at him.

She spared a moment to catch another glimpse of the sky, and saw a shooting star fly past. "Look Thomas, a shooting star. Make a wish." She closed her eyes and made a wish for herself. (OOC I'm not telling you what she wished, it's her personal thoughts and you'll find out later) When she was done she opened her eyes. "Your turn," was all she said.

When she asked him if he had to go home he thought about his family. Thomas didn't have to look at a clock or watch to know it was late. Well his family was probably asleep, His mom always fell asleep thinking he was in his bed, Thomas just smiled thinking to himself. "Well I should be heading home or I'll get grounded." Thomas said looking over at her. "But school is going to be starting soon." He smiled his own devious smile. "and they can't ground me at Hogwarts." Thomas said laughing, he didn't have any plans on leaving right now. " I just asked incase you had to head home or something." Thomas said looking back up at the sky.

Then she pointed out a shooting star and then told him it was his turn to make a wish. Thomas closed his eyes and thought about something to wish about. (OOC: If your going to do that so can I.) Thomas then opened his eyes and looked over at Elisabeth. He then gave her another kiss, this one lasting long then some of the other ones. Then he pulled away with a big smile. "I guess wishes do come true." He said laughing knowing that wasn't what he really wish for.

Thomas basically said he had no intention of going home just yet. Elisabeth smiled, she didn't want him to leave. "I just asked incase you had to head home or something." "No actually, my aunt wouldn't notice if I came home at 3am drunk with 3 guys with me. Not that I've done that." She added with a chuckle. She saw Thomas close his eyes and wish for something.

He opened his eyes and just kissed her. This kiss lasted longer than the others, but Elisabeth wouldn't have been able to tell. She just melted in his arms. He was the one to break the kiss, but he pulled away seeming unwillingly. "I guess wishes do come true." He said it, but Elisabeth didn't think that was what he really wished for. She just kissed him back. She had the sense to break the kiss before too long. They were close together now, lying on their sides with their noses almost touching. She wondered what was going to happen next.

Thomas just laughed when she made a joke about coming home late. "Well My mom goes crazy, my dads cool with it but my mom has gotten worse since I got hurt at Diagon alley." He said he put his hand to his nose for a second and it felt back to normally. During the attack he had broken his nose. Even now he couldn't remember how all his memories of that day had returned besides the last few second which was where he got his nose broken. After Thomas kissed he she gave him another kiss and now they were facing each other on there sides. Thomas was holding one of her hands the other she was lying her head on his arm. He just smiled his normal smile. "This has to have been one of the greatest days ever." He said thinking out loud.

Thomas didn't want to leave but he did wonder what time it was. He had left his watch at him so he just looked at her thinking about that in the back of his head. Then he forgot about it when he started to look into her eyes they were a amazing color of green.

Elisabeth was surprised to hear the Thomas had been hurt in the Diagon Alley attacks. She hoped he was alright, she didn't want to think about anything bad happening to him. He seemed to be deep in thought, but he finally broke the silence. "This has to have been one of the greatest days ever." He smiled and looked into her eyes. She looked back at him, and felt like she would do anything to make this night last forever.

Elisabeth finally had the sense to look away before she kissed him again. She wanted too, but she didn't want to get carried away, or a repeat of what happened with Jack. "So, what did you really wish for? I know it wasn't for another kiss...seeing as we've done a pretty good job of taking care of that. You don't have to tell me if you really don't want too." She smiled at him, with just a hint of deviousness.

Thomas could tell when he talked about Diagon alley she seemed concerned and he smiled. " Don't worry all that happened was I got my nose broken and my memory is still a little fuzzy on the few seconds on how it happened. Knowing my I ran into a wall trying to get away with my friend." He said smiling. Then she asked what he really wished for and Thomas just smiled. "Well I can't tell you that or it would never come true." He said smiling then laughing. "Don't blame me I'm not the one who makes up these rules." He said laughing looking back up at the stars. "So your a pureblood right?" He said still looking up at the stars.

Thomas already knew she was in Gryffindor so she couldn't have a big problem with Muggle borns like him but you never could know.

She smiled at the suggestion that he walked into walls. Elisabeth laughed her crystaline laugh as he said that he couldn't tell me what he wished for simply because, then it wouldn't come true. Thomas looked up at the stars again and asked her "So your a pureblood right?". "Actually no, I'm half-blood. My mum was Muggle-born and my dad was pure. My mum was briliant, better than my dad at some things. Sometimes I think Muggle-borns are more gifted than pure-bloods." A single tear rolled down her face at the memory of her mother, she could barely remember anything about her.

She looked back up at the stars as well, concentrating on a faded star to the left. "I don't have to worry about telling people about my wishes, mine never come true." The wind blew cooler air off the lake towords them. Elisabeth moved closer to Thomas and tiped her head so it rested on his shoulder.

Thomas looked over at her when she started to cry a little. He wiped the few tears she had away. "I guess I need to learn to keep my big mouth shut." He said with a laugh. They se said that all of her wishes never come true.” Don’t say that." He said. "Just keep wishing one of them I bound to come to." He said smiling. Then the wind started to pick up making it cold. He then rested her head on his shoulders. then he turned his head over to look at her again. "You getting cold." He said looking into her eyes. "I think we should be getting you home." He said looking back at the sky real quick. "Someone has to be worried about you and I know my mom is going crazy I think" He said as he looked back at her

Elisabeth smiled a bit as Thomas wiped away her tears. He told her to just keep wishing and one would come true. He looked over at her, and talked about taking her home. She didn't want to go home, she never wanted to go home. " Honestly, my 'home' isn't the best place. My aunt is probably at home, passed out drunk on the couch. I don't want to leave, this has been the best day/night of my life and don't it to be over. But if you need to get home so your mum doesn't freak out...it's fine if we leave." She sighed, she knew she had to go home at somepoint, but she was afraid that she would wake up and this would all be a dream.

Thomas just smiled. "Ok a few more minutes then I need to start heading home." He said smiling looking into her eyes. "She's kind of over-protective." He said laughing a little. "If you meet her just remember that’s not how she normally acts." He said thinking for a second. "She kind of still thinks I'm five Probably because I'm the youngest in my family." He said smiling still looking into her eyes. Then he thought more about what she said. "Anyway if you can't go home I can always sneak you into my room." He said smiling meaning it as a joke, kind of. He then moved closer to her and gave her a small kiss.

Her smile faltered a bit as Thomas said that they could stay for a few more minutes. She looked back at him as he talked about how mis mother was over-protective. Elisabeth's mind reeled when he mentioned the possibility of meeting her. So Thomas was the youngest in his family...she wondered what his siblings were like, but she decided to save that question for later. She turned to look up at the sky again.
"Anyway if you can't go home I can always sneak you into my room." Her head snaped back to look at his. trying to read his face

Thomas just made an embarrassed smile feeling like he said something wrong when she looked back at him. "I was joking it's not even my room it's my uncles house." He said trying to fix what he said. "Anyway he's got one of those super security systems so I'm going to have a hard time just getting myself in." he said laughing a little. He hoped that what he said would fix it. ” Note to self... Keep my mouth shut." He thought to himself then looking back up at the sky. He waited a few seconds to try and say anything but still couldn't think of anything. " So how far is your house anyway?" He said wanting to know whose house was closer.

"I was joking it's not even my room it's my uncles house." Elisabeth fought the urge to laugh at the look Thomas made. He seemed embarrassed by his 'joke'. He joked about how me was going to have a hard time sneaking in without getting caught by the security system. He seemed to think that he had said something wrong, but he couldn't be more wrong. She had just been surprised at his comment. He turned to look up at the sky, then asked how far away her house was.

"Well depending on how fast we walk it's about 15-20 minutes away. The longest it would take is 30, but unless we get...'sidetracked' it shouldn't take that long." She laughed before adding, "So you're sure that was just a joke? Cuz I was think that I might have to take you up on your offer." She was trying to show him that it was no big deal, but she was actually a little serious. She smiled her devious grin again, her eyes smoldering with laugher and intensity.

Thomas Thought about what she said for a second then laughed." And what do you mean by sidetracked?" He said laughing. ” Well I guess she does live closer then me." Thomas thought then looked over at her again with his normal smile. "Well I could always find a way for us both to get in." He said laughing. "Muggle security isn't always fool proof." He said laughing. He looked back up at the sky and just waited a few seconds. "You want to get going or stay here a few minutes?" He asked still looking up at the sky.

Elisabeth just smiled when he asked what she meant by 'sidetracked.' "Well, just in case we get tired of walking and stop, or start doing something else." She looked at the sky as Thomas joked about possibly finding a way to sneak her in with him. Well, so I guess he's living with some Muggles. Lucky. They both stared at the stars for a few minutes, and then he broke the silence.

"You want to get going or stay here a few minutes?" Elisabeth thought for a moment, not really sure. "Well, it sounds like your mom would like to have you back, so maybe we should start going." She used her pouty voice, trying to make him stay longer. "I think we should take you home first though, my aunt won't care if I don't come home." She was quiet for a moment, but then her impish grin came back. "Besides, how can you sneak me into your room if you take me home first?"

He looked over at her smiling. "I like the something else part." He said laughing looking into her eyes. Then went back to looking at the stars as she was and tried to find a few more stars. Then she answered his question and he looked over at her again. "Well I guess we could stay here a few more minutes." He said smiling looking over at her over at her then she said they should take him home first. "Yea it would be kind of impossible to sneak you in if your at your house already." He said laughing looking into her eyes. He stayed there looking into her eyes then after a few minutes passed he got up slowing holding his hand down to her. "Lets go?" He asked looking down.

A shiver ran down her spine, "I like the something else part." Elisabeth smiled as he said that they would stay a few minutes, and agreed to have him go home first. They laid there for a few minutes, just staring into each other's eyes. Then Thomas stood up and held out his hand to her. "Let's go?"

"Alright." She grasped his hand and gracefully pulled herself up. She looked out over the lake for the last time, mesmerized by the glint of the moonlight on the midnight water. "So how long will it be to your house?" Elisabeth looked up at him and noticed with gladness to find that he was just a few inches taller than her, almost at eye level. Elisabeth let go of Thomas' hand for a moment, and reached into her pocket. She removed the bottle with the lotion in it, and threw it as far as she could out into the lake. "I don't think I'll be needing that anymore." She just smiled and looked into his eyes.

He watched her as she got up grabbing his hand and looking into his eyes. "My house well its not that far should be there in a few minutes if we don't get sidetracked." He said laughing that watched as she thrown her bottle into the lake Thomas just smiled looking back into her eyes. "I'll do my best to make sure you never need to." He said looking in her eyes then kissing her cheek quickly and grabbing her hand. "Well you ready?" He said looking at her still smiling.
