He nodded to her comment about the wrist movement, it was not always an easy thing to master. He was sure that she was more talented than she gave herself credit for. It was not in a Slytherin not to suceed.
"If it is just your wrist movement that is holding you back, I may need to watch myself of next thing you will have mastered it and will be cleaning my things instead of the other way around."
When she meantioned the book he glanced down at his bag, remember that his first stop int he villiage had been at a used bookstore. "I bought a book on the Egyption understandings of astronomy. While Psychology is my true love, Astronomy is a close second."

Mary giggled when he mentioned that the roles may be reversed soon. He reminded her of somebody, but she could not place who it was. “Yes it is a rather interesting subject; although I never mastered it. I love to watch the movement of the stars and planets and things, but I don’t have the patience to do it. I will sit there enthralled for about five to fifteen minutes then I start looking around for something else to capture my interest. I love sitting out at night though. My favourite thing to do in fact is to go out to the lake in the middle of the night and just sit there. Maybe read a little. I don’t know too much about the Egyptians though.” She babbled.

Jasmine smiled as Mary and Kamron started to joke. She laughed lightly to herself and continued to read her Herbology book that was on the table before her. Turning the pages of the book she felt some what bored. Herbology wasn’t that much of an interesting class, but Jasmine thought all classes were fun. But potions and Charms were her favorite. It was just so much fun to brew up potions, even know Snape made her feel very uncomfortble, and working on simple charms. Next year she well be able to do magic outside of school and she can magically make the stalls clean. Owe how she hated going outside all day and cleaning up all the stalls. It took her two hours back at home and then after that she had to take apart the bridles and saddles and clean them up.
Continuing to read her book she took a sip of her butter bear that had just arrived but never noticed. Smiling she turned the page and pulled back her dark brown hair. As she was reading she noticed Mary get napkins and she looked up at the mess. Jasmine got some napkins as well and helped her friend clean up. She didn’t mind because she had to feed some of the younger children when they went to there farm for horse camp. Most of them asked her why she was always gone for so long. Like always she told them that she went to a boarding school to improve her singing. But her dreams of stardom faded away as she grew older.
After the mess was all cleaned up she turned back to her book and continued to read. It was always like Jasmine to be quiet and keep to herself. She had been doing it so long she couldn’t break the habit. Since both her parents ignored her she went to books for comfort and singing. Those were the only things that could take her mind off the loneliness. With a deep sigh Jasmine took another sip of her butter bear and looked up at both Kamron and Mary and smiled. "Um... Sorry I am just so used to being quiet......" Jasmine apologized hoping that she didn’t make a fool of herself bring something up out of no where.

When Mary had finished her little babble about astrology and Egyptians Jasmine apologized for being so quiet and explained that it was a force of habit. Mary chuckled slightly and turned to her friend. “Don’t worry I think we are all used to it. Except for Kamron here of course but seeing as how you guys must have had classes together since first year and are just meeting today I’m sure he gets that you can be quiet.” Mary said with humour in her voice.
Mary then realised she still had the dirty napkin in her hand. She once again glanced down at the now spotless shirt. Mary smiled with the knowledge that nobody could tell it had ever been stained. She then looked around at the three people sitting at the table with her and the smile grew. It had been a great day so far; they had a nice walk over, she went shopping (her favourite thing to do), and then she had two cappuccinos (her favourite drink), made a new friend, and spent time with two of her already friends.
Looking around the café Mary noticed it was almost empty. Wondering why everybody would leave so suddenly she looked out the window expecting to see a crowd walking away. Strangely enough when she looked out the window not only could she not see a crowd, but she couldn’t see a thing. Mary walked over to the window thinking something was blocking it; surely the Sun had not set yet. Upon closer inspection though she could see the outline of the other shops. It was a beautiful night; you could see hundreds of stars shinning brightly in the distance. Turning back to her friends Mary asked how long they had been there; not exactly directing the question at anyone in particular.
