Wynd had no idea where the other Slytherin Chasers were but they certainly were not helping. Wynd watched in frustration as the pass from Drake was intercepted than passed on to another Ravenclaw Chaser. He couldn't believe it. It seemed like the tide was quickly turning. Slytherin had been doing so well and then... Whatever. If Wynd had to carry the whole bloody team by himself then he would. Olivia was being absolutely useless as usual and Pyro was in his own world. Wynd glared at them before deciding what to do. If he couldn't intercept a shot on the goal so that left him with only one option. Just because the other Chasers had given up didn't mean he had.

"Madam Hooch!" Dylan flew nearer to her so she could hear after he hit the Bludger towards the Ravenclaw Seeker again. Mary had asked him, seeing as he was Vice Captain, if he would call a substitution; Olivia for Julian. After, he laughed as Celia managed to deflect his Bludger back towards him. This was all very great fun to Dylan, and he was thoroughly enjoying irritating the two Ravens. He raised his bat and swung it at the Bludger intent on hitting Ruth again.

Williard continually flew around the pitch, trying to help in any which way he could, though he must have to admit to himself, he couldn't do much of anything. The other players were so much more experienced and so much more talented than he was; the dynamic between August and Theo was incredible. They made all types of amazing passes to each other that left Williard staring at the two in awe. But if anything, the whole situation only gave Williard a hunger to try harder to get better so one day the three could be a very formidable threat.

Pyro growled in anger as he watched the game unfold, Ravenclaw managed to get another goal by them. He kept his watchful eye on the Beater though, after his last Bludger had been defeated he hadn't decided to send anymore towards Pyro. Pyro had no idea if this was because of the threat he had issued or not, but he hardly cared, if that Beater sent one more Bludger after him, Pyro would be sure to knock him off his broom. Pyro turned back to the game at hand and noticed the Ravenclaw's snatch the Quaffle out of the air and zoom toward the Slytherin goals, there was no way he was going to let Ravenclaw get a lead. Pyro flattened himself on his broom and took off like a bullet, aiming to slam into the Ravenclaw who was about to shoot the Quaffle.

It wasn't until he saw the figure of Wynd Lehane closing in on him that August realised that he had possession of the Quaffle. He had heard Theo calling his name but the pass had happened so quickly and smoothly that August thought it was a dream. But as he saw the bigger boy rush toward him he knew it was no dream. He had to do something. Avoiding Wynd like the plague, August turned his broom toward the Slytherin Keeper. This would be his second attempt on the goal but this time he would be successful. Out of the corner of his eye, August noticed a green streak in the air and realised that it was a Slytherin. That Slytherin was headed right at him. What was going on? First he was used as a human shield and now he was a human target? August knew the Slytherin team liked to play dirty but he had no idea how low they would actually go for victory.

Stephen rose in the air, his eyes following a glint of gold he'd seen, but it was gone before he'd even figured out what it was...by it's pattern of movement it was probably not the snitch...an aggravating concept in and of itself. The game seemed to be going on forever and still there was no sign of the snitch. At least he was getting some enjoyment out of the fact that Ruth was constantly being targeted for bludgers. It was amusing and brought a smile to his face, but right then he was more concerned with snitch searching than the other seeker who was also actively searching out the snitch. So he dove back down and began his search again, his eyes watching everything at once, or so it seemed.

The game was definitely now going in they Ravenclaw's favour! Celia seemed to be improving as a beater too, and successfully managed to deflect that bludger away from Ruth to Dylan. It looked like he would try to hit it back towards them, not surprisingly, so she stuck with Ruth and hoped to defend her once again. Theo easily passed to August - none of the Slytherins had attempted to steal or intercept. But now Wynd was trying to steal the quaffle, and it looked like Pyro was trying to slam into August...surely that wasn't allowed? But Celia had to carry on regardless, and hoped to deflect the bludger that Dylan was trying to hit towards them back at him. The other bludger was stray, so she shouted over to E to "GET THAT BLUDGER! DON'T LET PYRO GET AWAY WITH IT!" She was sure Pyro should be punished for what he was doing, and he couldn't get away with it, no way!
((Defending Ruth - Damn you Dylan! - and deflecting to Wynd, if Dylan hits the bludger in their direction successfully. And wanting E to get to the other bludger!))

The last time there had been a small pile-up of Chasers, Xiomara had not been sure who the initial aggressor had been, and therefore she'd not been able to take any action. However, this time there was no doubt about the matter - Blackfire had blatantly fouled the young Ravenclaw Chaser in possession of the Quaffle. Xiomara blew her whistle and flew up to the little throng of players.
"Penalty shot to Ravenclaw," she announced, not feeling the need to add any explanation. It wasn't necessary, with such an obvious foul. "Mr Darke, will you be able to choose who will take it between yourselves, or would you like me to call Miss Richmond over?" she asked, addressing the Ravenclaw Vice Captain who happened to be a Chaser.
((There has been a change in the Slytherin line-up. Julian Fallon S7 is being substituted in as Slytherin Chaser. Olivia is being substituted out of the game.
Celia – you’ll need to post that next round, if Dylan manages to deflect the Bludger.
There is a Bludger flying at Dylan. Dylan attempts to deflect the Bludger to Ruth. Celia = Bludger (D6 + Str) = 2 + 5 = 7 Dylan = Defend (D8 + Str) = 4 + 6 = 10 Dylan successfully deflects the Bludger. There is a Bludger flying at Ruth.
Wynd attempts to steal the Quaffle from August. August attempts to defend the Quaffle. Wynd = Steal (D4 + Str) = 4 + 4 = 8 August = Defend (D8 + Str) = 7 + 4 = 11 August retains the Quaffle.
Pyro fouls August! Ravenclaw will get a penalty shot on goal.
August shoots at the hoops. Drake did not post, so he does not get his stat points for defending them. August = Score (D6 + Str) = 3 + 4 = 7 Drake = Save (D6 + Dex) = 5 + 0 = 5 August scores!
Ravenclaw 20 Slytherin 10
Ravenclaw has the Quaffle. NB: Penalty shot only. Slytherin Chasers may not attempt to steal the Quaffle from the Ravenclaw Chaser taking the penalty shot. No Bludgers to be hit at this Chaser, or at Drake for the next round either. (deflecting at them is allowed).
Ruth searches for the Snitch. She must get a search roll of 5 or more in order to search successfully. Ruth = Search (D6 + Con) = 3 + 2 Ruth is able to search.
Ruth = Search = 15 15 is not the Snitch number. Ruth does not see the Snitch.

As the group of players around his end of the pitch started to pile up, Drake watched with amusement as Pyro played his usual brute card. However, in the midst of all the confusion and chaos, Drake was too preoccupied to noticed that the small Ravenclaw Chaser was attempting a shot on goal! "Damn it!" Drake roared as he flew to stop the Quaffle, too little, too late. His temporary lapse in attention cost Slytherin ten more points.
To make matters worse, Pyro's foul meant that Ravenclaw would get a penalty shot. Drake watched in disgust as Madame Hooch gave Theo the Quaffle back and blew her whistle for him to take the penalty shot. At least Drake was ready this time.
((Defending the penalty shot.))
To make matters worse, August was fouled in the shooting of the goal, meaning that he'd get yet another shot. "Way to go, Blackfire. Nice, subtleattack." Drake glared at his fellow seventh year before placing himself in front of the goals. This time he knew the shot was coming at least.
As August shot, Drake lurched forward, finding the Quaffle in his arms fairly easily this time around. "Now take this to the other damned end of the pitch," he shouted, throwing the Quaffle to Pyro.

Ephraim had been zooming around, his mind somewhat preoccupied by the bunch of Chasers around the Slytherin goal posts. He was happy to hear that Ravenclaw had scored, and the fact that Slytherin was playing dirty didn't surprise him. And, as it had been throughout the game, another Bludger was headed toward Ruth.
"I've got this one, Celia!" he shouted as he flew by his captain. Ephraim was starting to get a bit cold from the mix of the rain and the wind whipping in his face as he flew. Apparently the Seekers were feeling the same effects as they looked a bit sluggish so far. As he neared Ruth, Ephraim picked out his deflection target in the instance that he made contact with the Bludger. His eyes settled on Pyro Blackfire, the bully Slytherin who had just been the cause of the penalty shot.

((Will edit here later with post. Theo will be attempting to take the penalty shot... Please see here for explanation.)) Theo cheered loudly as August scored the second goal for Ravenclaw, bringing the points to twenty-ten. Theo was elated - they were pulling ahead. He was particularly proud of how much the Ravenclaws had fought tooth and nail and claw (or however the saying went) against the 'army' of Slytherins. Hopefully this would show them that they would not go down without a fight. Ravenclaws were not passive; heck, Theo wasn't passive, come to think about it. His newfound competitiveness amused himself, but Theo attributed it mostly to having become the Vice-Captain and discovering the responsibilites that came with it. More than ever he wanted to win that Quidditch Cup, and all they had to do was get past Mary and her team of aggressive players. And just to prove what foul players they were, Pyro Blackfire went ahead and fouled August. Theo yelled indignantly at the Seventh Year, turning to Madam Hooch to see if she had seen his actions. She had, and Theo calmed himself down. There was no need to get too riled by Pyro's actions. They acted against his favour anyway. Calling a brief time-out as Ravenclaw sorted out who would take the penalty Madam Hooch had awarded them, Theo flew towards Celia and told her he was willing to take the shot. He held the Quaffle and approached Drake, waiting in front of the goals. With no Slytherin Chasers or Beaters in his way, he told himself he could do it and threw the Quaffle. It was time to make it thirty-ten. ((Taking the penalty shot! And shush yourself and concentrate on yer job, Mr Caoimhe!))

((My apologies, everyone - Theo pointed out to me that in order to remain consistent with the last time we rolled a penalty shot (in the Hufflepuff vs. Slytherin game), the Ravenclaw team should be allowed to choose who takes the penalty shot. Therefore, the penalty shot will be taken this round by whomever the Ravenclaw Captain or Vice Captain nominates to take it.
Also, this round may be a little longer than usual as I'm going to change the time that I'm doing the rolls back to the evening (for me), rather than at my lunchtimes which is when I've been doing them for the past three days. ;D))

Dylan wanted so desperately to yell at Pyro and tell him to watch himself, but he wasn't the captain. He was vice sure enough, but he still wasn't the head honcho. Besides, he didn't want to step on Mary's toes, not that it was even needed. He laughed at the fact that he had managed to deflect the Bludger Celia had deflected to him, so now, the Bludger was heading straight towards Ruth once again. In the midst of his relish at keeping the Ravenclaw Seeker and Beater busy, something whizzed by the back of his head ruffling his hair. The other Bludger was being completely ignored by the other Beaters. And, Ravenclaw was up by ten. "Well, time to kick things up." Dylan flew a few feet and raised his bat.

Stephen heard some kind of commotion come from the chasers, his eyes slipping down to see what was going on...but he wish he hadn't...he was definitely not pleased to see what had happened. It was an obvious foul...one that could be construed in any other way than a blatant attempt to hurt the Ravenclaw chaser letting them gain the opportunity to have a free shot at the goals. "Smooth move..." he muttered to himself as he circled back around and away from the chasers so he could continue his search for the elusive snitch.

Ruth ignored the chasers below, but knew instantly that it was most likely something Pyro had done. The foul would bring about a penalty - and in that time, there would hopefully be a standstill in the game below while the chosen Chaser would shoot. It would be easier for Ruth to look for the Snitch then. Throwing an extremely angry glare at Dylan, and swiftly calling her beaters to her, she narrowed her eyes even more. "Hit Donahue." She called to Celia and Eades. (Snitch searching. Bludger dodging.)

30-10! Theo rejoiced in his head as the Quaffle sailed past Drake for the third time today. He almost felt sorry for the Slytherin Keeper; almost. Theo didn't know Drake well, but they obviously knew of each other because of prefecting. Drake had never treated Theo with anything more than indifference, so Theo wasn't inclined to feel anything towards him. Elated, he glanced around to see the euphoric looks on his teammates' faces. Their hardwork was paying off. As long as they kept their efforts up they had the game in the bag. Theo grinned as he leapt forward to try to intercept Drake's pass to one of the Slytherin Chasers. 40-10 here we come.

Stephen wastes little of his time worrying about the idiocy of the game that's going on below him as he continues his pass around the pitch. His eyes were focused on looking for anything that resembled that tiny golden ball, but still he had not seen anything, not even a flash of gold...the snitch was being extra cautious this time around. In fact it always seemed to elude the seekers when Slytherin was playing...maybe the golden ball was afraid. The thought brought a smirk to Stephen's face...a smirk of both incredulous at his thought as well as an arrogant smirk. He just hoped he wouldn't have to wait too much longer for the snitch to show up. He was in the mood to get out of the sun and back into the dank, dark dungeons of the school.

Now, Drake was angry. He let yet another goal slip by him, and Ravenclaw had a lead of twenty. He blamed himself, but at the same time he knew that it was Pyro's reckless behaviour which had been the primary cause of the most recent goal. That was just how Pyro was, and nothing Drake would say or do could change that. Or could it.
In that instant, Drake flew as close to Pyro as he could without leaving the designated Keeper area. "Hey Blackfire!" he shouted. "Why don't you use that energy to do some good. You don't get points for taking players out of the game." It was a futile attempt, but at least it might rile Pyro a bit. If he used the aggravation to make something good happen, then so be it.
With that Drake, whipped the Quaffle at Pyro, seeing the bloody Ravenclaw eyeing up the pass. If Ravenclaw intercepted, Drake was going to resort to Pyro's tactics himself.
