He hadn't been able to defend poor Celia so he was going to try and defend her now and hope Theo would manage to get away from that other Bludger that was heading for him or tha Jamison managed to save him. Best he try to hit towards Scott since he had the Quaffle right now.

Her Bludger seemed to have almost immediate effect - nobody tried to defend against it so the Ravenclaw Chaser was on his own. At first it looked like he might manage to dodge the Bludger, but in the end he was outsmarted by the spinning iron ball and Melody let out a sharp breath as she saw him get hit. She turned away to watch what was happening in the rest of the game, and saw that Stewart had deflected the Bludger that Cassandra had sent at Celia towards Scott, so that it was now getting dangerously close to a Quaffle in Gryffindor possession. Melody sped in to intercept the Bludger, not wanting to let Stewart pull off the same trick as she had been able to with Celia. "Watch out, Scott!" she called to the fifth year as she tried to give the Bludger a good whack away from him, this time intending to put an end to Jasmine's respite from distraction.

This game was lasting a lot longer than Rex had anticipated. He had had a quick roll for breakfast knowing full well that anything more would have seen like lead in his stomach. He was regretting that decision now. Rex was hungry. It was a good thing that the crowd was being loud and obnoxious because he was pretty sure that without the extra noise, everyone would be able to hear the growling noises emitting from his stomach. Now he knew. Next game he should eat more than a roll and some pumpkin juice. Hopefully he would find the Snitch and this game would soon be all over. He floated next to Casey at the Gryffindor goals and looked around the pitch.

Celia was annoyed as Scott just managed to grasp the quaffle just before she got to it. Well, the Ravens really did need to get it back, so she had a choice-steal or intercept. She wanted to keep as far from the action as she could without seeming to be out of the game as she didn't want to get hurt even more than she had already-bludgers were very painful, she'd come to realise-so decided to intercept the pass Scott would make, and called over to Theo to try and steal-he was stronger than her and would probably stand a better chance at stealing. She looked around to where Zara and Lenora were and found a position where she'd hopefully be able to intercept a pass to either, if necessary. But whichever of them got the quaffle-whether it was Theo or Celia-they'd pass to the other who could then try and shoot.
However, the bludger that Celia had attempted to warn Theo about had hit him. Luckily it didn't seem to have affected him too much-he was a very strong, determined boy, which was great for quidditch. Luckilly the bludger that had been heading towards her had been hit away from her by Stewart and was now heading towards Scott. Stewart had been doing well that game too. The seekers weren't doing too well though-the game had been going on for ages now, and still no sign of it. She just hoped that Jazz would get it soon enough-but where was she? Celia hadn't seen her around for a while, but was confident she knew exactly what she was doing, espite the bludger hits.

Yes! Theo managed to retain the quaffle from Zara's attempt to steal, as he smiled and whooped. Now, Celia was calling over to him to pass the quaffle to her, so he threw the quaffle as strongly as he could, while flying towards her, and watched as the 6th year prefect caught it. However, a matter of seconds later, he flinched as he saw a bludger hit her in the side and obviously in pain she dropped the quaffle. She seemed to get over the pain enough to go after the quaffle again almost straight away, but then Theo watched as Scott took the oppurtunity and grasped the quaffle before Theo had the chance to get over there.
Not long after, Theo heard Celia warn him about the bludger coming towards him. He attempted to swerve out of the way , but he was just a bit too slow, and the quaffle hit him in the shoulder. Grasping it in pain, he tried to get his concentration back on the game, and saw Celia indicating to him to try and steal the quaffle from Scott-it looed as if she herself would try and intercept if he didn't manage to steal. He nodded at her indicating that he'd heard, and flew over to his best friend from the back, attempting to steal the quaffle from him.

Stewart flew towards the Bludger that had just hit Theo, feeling his blood boil. They really were having a bad today. He aimed the Bludger at Rex, trying to work up the enthusiasm he'd felt at the beginning of the game.

Of course Melody defended Scott, and of course she managed to hit it at Jasmine once again - Stewart flew as fast as he could to try and defend Jasmine, hoping he'd manage to save her form yet another Bludger hit. This time he was hoping he'd manage to deflect it and hit Casey.

Casey flew back and forth around the goal posts. The quaffle had spend a lot of time over at the Ravenclaw goals this game, so Casey hadn't had that much work to do. She did feel bad about that one goal that she let go. It happened so quickly, she couldn't stop it, but she could stop any future ones. Good thing Gryffindor was still in the lead. This made Casey feel better. Casey then noticed a bludger heading her way. Great just what she needed.

The game was going nicely for Gryffindor. The were in the lead by three goals and hopefully the snitch would be caught soon. But still, Ravenclaw could catch the snitch without any warning and Gryffindor could do anything about it, but Zara didn't want to think about that. Scott had possession of the quaffle, but it was stolen by Theo. Zara gained speed on her broom and headed over there. She didn't want Ravenclaw to have another chance to score.

The crowd was cheering, and there was a lot of hooting and hollering from the part of the crowd wearing red and gold. Gryffindor were in the lead. But of course Ravenclaw were in possession so… Lenora turned herself away from the stands to where Zara was trying to get the red ball out of the hands of Theo. Getting up close Lenora prepared herself for wherever the quaffle may end up…

It was like a waiting game. Or a staring contest. The Seekers were just waiting to see who would bow out first. Would it be Rex who had looked up and down far and wide for that dumb ball? or would it be Jasmine who was not having any luck either? She was probably thinking of other things. Like the team. It was obvious to anyone who was watching, who was the better team. And they were not wearing blue. Rex flew close to the fray. He always liked to be close to the action. And on his way to the center of the action, he noticed a ball coming toward him once again. But not the ball he was looking for! Rex swerved to avoid the Bludger. Someday, the Snitch would be his.

Melody smiled as she saw the Bludger go soaring away - it meant two good things for Gryffindor. Firstly, Scott was safe (although he'd still not managed to hold on to the Quaffle; oh well), and secondly, the Bludger was now flying at Jasmine so that would be something to keep the Ravenclaw Beaters busy. Melody cast a sharp eye on Stewart, who she considered her main threat in this game. He was off to defend Jasmine... good, she had a bit of time before she had to defend against the next thing that he hit. For the moment, there was the Bludger that he'd hit at Rex to contend against. Rex was already taking evasive action, so Melody didn't bother warning him as she faced the Bludger grim-facedly, trying to send it in the direction of the Ravenclaws' best Chaser instead.

Yes! Theo grinned at his friend as he snatched the quaffle out of his hands. Scott wouldn't be too happy, but it was all in jest anyway, the grin. If he was closer to the goal hoops, he would gladly try and shoot, but as it stood he was quite far away, and the Gryff chasers were in the way and would be hard to get past neatly. However, Celia was much closer to the goal hoops so he called "heads up again Celia" to his fellow chaser, and threw the quaffle in her direction, trying to throw it over the chasers so they would find it more difficult to intercept, and then hopefully Celia would catch it and shoot again. The Gryffs weren't making it easy for him though-Zara was flying towards him, obviously going to try and intercept, and it looked as if Lenora had worked out his plan and was going to try and intercept...he just hoped that both their attempts would fail and the quaffle would reach Celia.

Celia smiled as Theo stole the quaffle straight from Scott's hands. Good on him, she thought-he'd been doing a good job this game, she was proud of him. However, she didn't have much time to think as he called over to her, and threw the quaffle in her direction. She flew closer to him-he'd made a tricky shot, with Zara trying to steal and Lenora in a good place to intercept-and hoped that she would be able to catch it. Then she could shoot and hopefully score a secong goal for the Ravens.
However, she saw a bludger heading her way from the other side of the pitch-it looked as if it had, once again, come from Melody's bat...if only her beaters were that good. And she was only a 2nd year, she still had a lot of time to get even better. Well, she had to avoid the bludger, not think about how good a beater Melody was, and so tried to swerve out of the way, while flying towards the quaffle and trying to catch it.

Casey eyed the players coming toward her. Usually, it was difficult to see who had the quaffle from where Casey was, but now it was clear. Ravenclaw had possession of the quaffle and they were fastly approaching Casey. Casey watched as Zara tried to steal the quaffle and failed and the Lenora tried to intercept, but it seemed that the Ravenclaw chasers were on their game for the time being. Casey gripped down hard on her broom as she eyed the chasers. She then got ready to defend. ((Defending the goals, just in case. ))

Cass grimaced as she saw Celia catch the quaffle. She was getting frustrated. The game wasn't running fast enough for her at this. It wasn't like she wanted the game over. She loved Quidditch, but the snitch was nowhere in the sight. She always loved that rush of excitement when the seeker saw the snitch. However, since the snitch wasn't in sight, it was her job to keep the game going until it was seen. Cass veered to the left and swung her bat at the oncoming bludger. She watched as it soared toward Celia.
