The game was going well, Gryffindor was well up in points. Of course if Jasmine caught the snitch right now they would still lose, but what were the chances of the snitch being caught already? Besides, Lenora had no control over that, she only had some measure of control over the quaffle; which was in the possession of August at the moment. Looking around quickly Lenora saw Scott covering Theo and the other 2 Ravenclaw chasers on their own. Moving closer to the keeper Lenora prepared herself to get in between the Ravenclaws and the quaffles.

This Snitch was no where to be found. Rex was actually starting to wonder whether Madam Hooch had released the small golden ball when she had released the others. Wouldn't that be funny? If after a few days, they realize that the Snitch was still being held captive in the box? All this while, the Seekers where looking for something that could not be found. Wouldn't that be funny? No! No, it would not. Rex would be furious. The little ball must be out here somewhere. Rex knew that somehow he would find it.

Melody's Bludger had distracted Jasmine - even though she'd almost avoided it, Melody could tell that the older girl was more interested in attending to whatever minor injury had been inflicted than in looking for a needle in a haystack, which was what looking for the Snitch was like. She looked around to see where the other Beaters were. There was a Bludger flying at the Ravenclaw Vice Captain... it was going pretty fast so she presumed that was a deliberate hit from Cassandra. Neither of the Ravenclaw Beaters seemed to be closing in right now on the Bludger that had just hit Jasmine. So it looked like Melody could have that Bludger for now. She really didn't want to hit it at Jasmine again right after the last hit, despite Cassandra's instructions. That could wait for next time, perhaps. Gryffindor were in possession at the moment, so for now she would try to help them stay in possession so that they could perhaps score yet another goal and make it 50-0. She flew towards the Bludger and gave it a good whack in the direction of the blonde-haired Chaser.

Lenora had the Quaffle again. Now that Gryffindor was forty-nil up, Theo knew the Ravenclaws had to get their act together if they wanted to win this. At least they had Jasmine and the Snitch to fall back on, but the Chasers and Beaters needed to do their part too; as did August, who was not in the best form today. Sympathetic towards his friend, Theo tried his best to concentrate on his own job and flew forward towards Lenora, a grim, determined expression shadowing his face as blonde hair swept past narrowed eyes. Theo was still adjusting to the sensation of flying and pushing through strong winds. He didn't want to think how dangerous it was in even windier or rainy conditions, but a love for Quidditch seemed to dispel all those fears. Ignoring the cheers of the crowds and his teammates, Theo shot at Lenora to steal the Quaffle from her, desperate for a Ravenclaw goal. It was then he noticed the Bludger Melody had sent his way. Alarmed, Theo veered to the side, hoping to stay on course to Lenora and the Quaffle.

She got it! The quaffle was in Lenora’s hands after she caught the pass from August. Everyone was hanging around and Lenora was not certain she would have Zara’s prior luck with scoring right after an intercept from the keeper. Poor August, he didn’t seem to be on top form, Gryffindors kept stealing his passes. But he had a lot of warning about Lenora’s shot right now… Scott was over close by, though. Lenora decided to risk a pass and hope that Scott could catch the Ravenclaws off guard.

Ah, no! Lenora intercepted August's pass! Right, well, time for action now! Theo was trying to steal from her, but now she was going to pass to Scott, so Celia placed herself between the 2 chasers, hoping to intercept the pass, hoping she would get posession of the quaffle-she couldn't let the game go to 50 - 0, no way. That would be way too disaterous. Melody was still hitting bludgers everywhere, but at least Stewart was defending her from that other bludger, hopefully. The other one was heading towards Theo, which she shouted across to him about (hoping it wouldn't distract him from stealing the quaffle). She hoped he'd be able to steal it, but she made sure she was in a position where she could catch the quaffle if necessary.

There was no denying that her Bludger had been tactically effective - the Ravenclaw Chaser hadn't had a chance to steal the Quaffle off Lenora - but... there still hadn't been much point to it, considering that Celia had still got possession by intercepting Lenora's pass. Melody glanced anxiously at Stewart. He'd already shown himself to be good... he'd just defended against one of Cassandra's Bludgers and she was a bit suspicious that he might go and use the free Bludger to attack one of the Gryffindor players. But she didn't really want to launch anymore attacks herself at the moment, so she supposed she'd have to leave it free for him, unless Cassandra could get there first. Melody herself went off to defend against the one that was already heading at Lenora.
"BLUDGER, Lenora!" she shouted in warning, in case she took a wild swing at the Bludger and didn't manage to make contact. This time she would have to try to carry out her Captain's instructions and continue to stop Jasmine from doing her job... but she had the defending to do first and she put all her concentration into that as she swung her bat into the path of the Bludger to try to deflect it away from the seventh year.

Finally there was a Bludger he could get to before Melody! Stewart tried to come up with a plan in the few moments it took to fly to the Bludger - he was reluctant to hit Rex again now he'd missed him three times. He aimed for Zara, who seemed to be the unstoppable Chaser of the game.

Up, down, left, right, all around. Nothing. This stupid little ball was harder to find than a needle in a haystack. Rex was so tired of going around and around in circles. He hoped that he would find it soon. If he did not then he would soon give up and let Jasmine have it. Although, if he gave up then Rex could never show his face in the Gryffindor common room again. Rex wondered if he be able to move in with Billy. What would Professor Sprout say when she found that she had an extra fourth-year Hufflepuff? Not to mention what Professor Hardy would say when she counted one less fourth-year Gryffindor. Rex shook his head as to rid himself of the thought. He couldn't give up. Rex wouldn't want to be thought of as a quitter. He would never hear the end of it from Billy not to mention Harmony. If he saw Harmony again anyway. Though, one good thing about not going back to the Gryffindor tower was that he would never have to run into Ariane again. Decisions, decisions.

YES!! Celia grinned as she grabbed the quaffle and managed to successfully intercept Lenora's pass to Scott. Ravenclaw were now in possession, and if it was up to her it'd stay that way for the rest of the game. No, she would make the most of their possession, and immediately fly to the other end of the pitch and try to gain back one of the lost goals. Then hopefully she'd be able to do what Zara did and score a few more goals too. The game had been going on for quite a while now-she'd lost track of time ages ago, so she thought it wouldn't be long till the Snitch was caught, but she wanted to get some goals in before then.
She flew over to the other end of the pitch, trying to avoid everything on her way there. Any stray bludgers, any Gryffindor chasers, any beaters with their bats...even the seekers, she didn't want to make them lose their concentration-well, she didn't care about Rex, but Jazz she really hoped would catch the snitch. She'd been hit rather badly this game, by Melody especially, who'd targeted her a lot. But there was nothing she could do about that-she didn't have a clue where the snitch was, and she had the quaffle to concentrate on.
At the other end of the pitch, she faced the Gryffindor keeper. She flew up, about 10 feet or so, hoping that an aeriel shot would be more successful, though trickier to pull off. She flew to above the left hoop, slightly in front, throwing the quaffle in it's direction hoping that it would go through the hoop, and not miss or be caught.

Celia had the Quaffle! Hoping one of her closer teammates would be close enough to steal the Quaffle, Zara braced herself in case they failed to do so, meaning she would prepare to intercept. Racing forwards, she noticed a blur of black in her periphery vision, and in alarm, realised a Bludger was coming her way. She forced her broomstick to swerve immediately, hoping the little but strong object wouldn't injure her and distract her from the task at hand.

Casey flew back and forth a ways by the Quidditch hoops. The Gryffindor Chasers were having a great game and Casey wasn't having to do much work. Really, the quaffle had spent more time down at the Ravenclaw hoops than anywhere. Casey normally played Chaser, but she didn't mind Keeper. She was pretty good at it usually. Plus, she liked that playing Keeper wasn't as physically difficult as being a Chaser, but still Casey's heart was pounding. She wanted the game to be over with just so she could hear Madame Hooch say that Gryffindor won. Yea, maybe that wouldn't happen but Casey could hope couldn't she. Casey peered down the field and noticed that a Ravenclaw Chaser, Celia was heading for the goal. She got reading to save it, but she wasn't fast enough. Darn it. Casey shook her head and cursed to herself as she raced to get the quaffle. She then turned back to her teammates as she said in her head over and over again how sorry she was.

"Good job Celia!" Jamison cheered as Rvaenclaw made their first goal. The game wasn't over yet and this just proved that Ravenclaw was still in it. He had to admit, Gryffindor had a great team, but Jamison really wanted this win. He wanted to go out with a big bang as they said. Jamison sped up as to get close to a bludger that one of the Gryffindor players, Zara had just avoided. He eyed the players and the set his eye on an easy target for the moment.

Elaine watched Celia tuck the quaffle under her arm, heading toward the goal hoops. With a simple throw it flew through the hoops past the Gryffindor keeper. Throwing her hands up in the air, Elaine cheered for her team mate as Ravenclaw finally got another point. "Yes! Go Celia!" Grinning, Elaine felt a rush of adrenaline rush through her as she zipped forward on her broom holding her arms out to intercept the pass from the keeper.

Jasmine gritted her teeth as the sharp pains began to pulse through her limbs. Her body ached from the constant hits, but it didn't feel like anything was broken which she was quite thankful for. Taking a deep breath, Jasmine opened her eyes as she heard the cheer begin to cheer. Did Gryfifndor score again? Looking over at the Gryffindor hoops she noticed the keeper holding the quaffle after a score had gone past her. Grinning, Jasmine cheered with the rest of her team as she finally began to pull herself together. "Alright guys. Keep concentrated!" She called out to everyone before flying around the pitch, keeping her hazel eyes open for ant hint of gold nearby.

Cass was holding onto her broom as she zoomed through the blue skies over the Quidditch pitch. She had gasp allowed as she saw a bludger nearly miss Lenora. Even though she was normally the one behind them, Cass could help to hold her breath every time one went hurtling towards another player. However, it was just part of the game. She started out as a beater, and she seemed to always make it back to the position at one point in the season. She loved it. It made her feel powerful to hold that bat and protect her teammate. She was there captain. Wasn't that her job anyway?
She groaned as Ravenclaw scored. They were losing their lead, and that wasn't good. Even though they were up thirty points and the snitch was nowhere in sight, she wanted to stay as far ahead as possible. Cassie saw one of the big red balls hurtle in her direction once again. She could feel energy flow down her arm as she swung forward and heard that familiar crack of ball meeting bat.
