A yawn and a smile, Amelia Richardson sat at her computer, her fingers rapidly moving across the keyboard as she typed messages to her friends on-line. It was her normal past-time. She would sit at her computer for hours, typing and clicking. She spent at least half of every day on her email and websites. There wasn't much a witch living in Muggle London with completely Muggle friends and family and no witches or wizards close by to do. She would go to bed late, wake up late, and spend the morning and afternoon on the computer, watch some TV, snack on some food and chat with her parents. Her parents were divorced, so she spent week days at her father's and the weekends at her mother's (who lived with a friend ever since her divorce with her third husband, Ray). It was common with Muggles. To split their time between divorced parents' houses.
As Amelia yawned once again, her back arched, her arms reached up toward the ceiling, and she was caught in a large, graceful stretch. Her eyes closed tightly, her head fell back, causing her wavy auburn brown hair to cascade down the back of the padded computer chair, and her toes clenched. She usually stretched like this four or five times while hobbying on her computer. Her father, Adam, would always call her "kitty" whenever he would witness one of these stretches. He would describe it as "a cat stretching in the sunlight"
The morning was quiet and the sun shone through the windows of her father and step mother's London flat. It was a normal Friday and her father was at work while her step mother, Emma was just getting ready for the day. She was a kindergarten teacher and didn't work until the afternoon. She yawned wider through her stretch and then sighed as her body suddenly relaxed. She didn't lift her head. Instead, she turned to look at the big screen TV. Usually she barely noticed the television while sitting at her computer, but the TV show interested her. She straightened in her chair and watched for a few moments, but Amelia soon became bored and turned off the computer and TV, deciding to get out and about that day. She had been stuck inside all summer vacation and felt like a walk or maybe a movie.
She stood from the computer chair and walked from the living room where her computer sat on a wooden desk. Amelia entered the sitting room, which really was just a small area where a couch and a table were sitting that lead into the kitchen and dining room. She walked down a separate hallway and entered her bedroom and own personal bathroom. She proceeded to the bathroom to bathe and freshen up. After her shower, she went to her bedroom and searched through her closet and dresser for something to wear. It didn't take too long for her to find her favorite purple button up shirt, which she wore a form-fitting black and red stripped vest over and then slipped on a pair of jeans and sneakers. Her make-up took a bit longer, while she carefully applied light eye shadows and rolled on thick black mascara, after drawing on light brown eyeliner. Her lipstick was a pale pink and her hair was in shiny auburn ringlets. Gazing at her reflection, she smiled. She looked great.
Shouting a quick goodbye to Emma and grabbing her purse, Amelia left her parent's flat and walked into the bustling sounds of London. Cars zoomed past while double decker buses, painted in bright colors, drove after them. Amelia smiled, breathing in the fresh, well sort of, air. She walked down the sidewalk, feeling refreshed. The good and bad thing about living in Muggle London, was she never really got to see any of her wizard friends, which also meant that she never had to see and of her wizard enemies as well. Not that she used the word enemy, but the Slytherins in her year usually treated her like one. Being a Muggleborn, Amelia was always teased by her fellow classmates.
Her walk led her to a familiar park just off the busiest parts of the city. The park was small, but green and full of flower bushes. Her childhoods were spent at this park, considering her father had moved into most of the flats and apartments all around the park since she was born. This was his favorite part of London and Amelia's too. She left the sidewalk and entered the small park. She smiled at a few giggling young kids and went to sit on one of the small black swings. One little Muggle girl, not even old enough to be a first year, walked up to the witch and smiled, shyly. Amelia smiled and leaned forward.
"Why hello there," she said kindly to the little girl, smiling cheerfully. The little girl giggled again and ran off, blushing. Amelia shook her head, laughing, and relaxed once more on the swing.

Danny laid on his bed staring up at the ceiling, it was so boring lately. He couldn’t think of one thing to do besides just walk around. “There is nothing better to do so why not?” He asked himself as he looked at the ceiling. Danny finally got out of bed again and then went to his closet to get changed into a white shirt with his black leather jacket over it and black pants. Danny then just left the house, normally he would have said goodbye to someone before he left but they both were off at work so there wasn’t anyone to say goodbye to. He also wasn’t supposed to leave the house while they both were gone but what they wouldn’t hopefully know won’t hurt them he thought as he left.
Danny normally went down the road that led to the leaky cauldron but that was getting boring too. As he went the opposite way he kept thinking about how he had done almost everything there was do to for summer already. School shopping was done and he already saw his real father which Danny wished he didn’t do, that was just a nightmare. He kept walking as he thought to himself which became hard every time he had to get passed a group of people on the sidewalk almost running into as he tried both at the same time.
After saying sorry a few times to people he deicide he would sit down somewhere and he looked ahead and there was some benches up ahead. As he headed to them he saw they were part of a park. Danny kept walking but had to think to himself “how far did I go?” He thought laughing a little to himself. When he got there he looked around the park and it seemed like a nice place. There were a few people around and he had walked there right in time to see a little girl run away giggling from another older girl around his age sitting in a swing. He thought he had seen her before till he looked at her again and remembered where he had seen her before.
Danny walked behind her as she was relaxing and Danny smiled, he had only talked to her a few times but she seemed nice when they did talk. Danny put his two hands over her eyes and then laughed. “I’ll give you three clues to who this is. One we’ve talked to each other a few times but it was very short. Two I think I’m the same age as you. I’m not really sure.” He said laughing. “I really should have put more thought into this, what is she gets mad at me…Well it’s to late now.” He thought to himself in a few seconds. “And three I’m probably the only other person in this in this park that knows about Hogwarts.” He said laughing hoping she wouldn’t get mad at him.

((OOC: One thing to know, Amelia is actually a sixth year. I just haven't been approved for a sixth year yet... but I will!))
Amelia watched as the little girl skipped off to her mother, who smiled at the teenager warmly. Amelia smiled back and then looked down at the ground. The gravel square that the swing set was constructed in was filled completely with tiny gray pebbles. Her feet moved the rocks around and sighed, looking up at the sky. It was such a beautiful da- suddenly the world went dark and Amelia gasped in surprise. She was confused at first to what had happened, but only a few seconds told her that someone had placed their hands over her eyes. She was so confused and yet wondered who was doing this. It had to be someone she knew... Then the person spoke and Amelia's puzzlement went a bit farther at the sound of a teenage boy's voice.
She bit her lip as he told her three clues. She couldn't even begin to guess. At least, she knew he was a wizard from Hogwarts, probably a fellow classmate. Giggling a bit, she thought harder. She had no idea and felt bad about it.
"Um..." was all she could say, "I dunno..." She laughed again and pulled the boy's hands from her eyes and looked up behind her. It was Danny McKay, a fellow Gryffindor. She smiled at him, remembering him from her classes. She laughed and shook her head, admiring his courage at coming up to almost a complete stranger and acting so friendly. She was happy to see someone from Hogwarts, relieved as well.
"Oh hi!" She said, she smile beaming, "What brings you to Muggle London?"

As she tried to guess who it was she couldn’t remember which didn’t come as a surprise to Danny. They didn’t talk that much in school so she probably wouldn’t remember him just by his voice. Danny smiled after she gave up and pulled his hands away and looked back at him smiling. Now she seemed to remember who he was and he laughed. Amelia then said hi then asked what he was doing in London. Danny smiled again then sat down in the empty swing next to her and looked over at her. “I live in Muggle London just maybe fifteen minutes away from the leaky cauldron.” He said still smiling as always. Danny would have told her how far away his house was but he didn’t even remember how far he had walked to get here.
“I just got so bored at home so I left and walked around to find something better to do” He said laughing. “And lucky me I find you.” He added laughing, it was very lucky, it was nice to see someone out side of Hogwarts again. “So you live in London to?” He said smiling looking over at her. “Or just visiting another one of the great muggle parks we have here?” He added laughing. Danny started to swing a little as he waiting for her to say something. "So glad she wasn't mad." He thought to himself laughing as he waited.

Amelia continued to smile and her eyes twinkled happily as Danny sat down in the swing next to her. He smiled, looked at her, and answered her cheerful question. She smiled. So Danny was either a Muggleborn or half. Having someone from Hogwarts so close made her feel better about living in Muggle London. Now, she finally had someone to talk to in person during the holidays. Of course, there was owls, but seeing someone in person was so much better. She nodded to him, her smile showing how grateful she was to see a fellow Hogwarts student, especially someone her own age.
She smiled once more as Danny began explaining why he was out walking around. She laughed when he said he was lucky to find her. All she could think was no, I think it's me who's lucky! Then he asked if she lived here too and then made a joke about visiting the park. She laughed at his joke and shrugged, starting to swing slightly just like Danny was.
"Yeah. My parents are Muggles. Well... my grandma isn't, but she lives over in Liverpool." Amelia laughed quietly, "Of course, she is very proud to be living in the place where the Beetles began, but..." she laughed again, "My parents are divorced and my dad lives with his wife just down the street that way." She pointed in the direction of where she had walked. "My mother lives a few miles on the other side of London with a friend. She moved in with Dawn last summer." Amelia left that hanging. The remembrance of the horrible divorce between Jay'Na and Ray wasn't something Amelia liked to reminisce about.
"But, yes." She sighed, a smile coming to her lips, mainly to reassure Danny that she was happy, "I live here... Every holiday, every summer. No witches or wizards near-by. But then, of course, there is you! I am so glad someone from Hogwarts lives here."

Danny just smiled listening to her talk and thought to himself as she did. “This is a thousand times better then staying home.” He thought laughing to himself still listening to her at the same time. Amelia started talking about how she did live in London but her parents were divorced so it seemed she lived in two different places both in London. One with her mom and one with her dad. “Well I live with my mom and step dad, both magic.” He said smiling. Danny always thought saying pureblood sounded kind of snobby so that was his way of saying pureblood. “Before I was born my mom and real dad lived out in the country. Then when he left she moved here after I was born and now she doesn‘t want to leave.” He said laughing.
“And I agree with her.” He added still laughing. He didn’t want to talk about Richard much and even last after meeting him face to face. “She does have to keep magic to a limit but she just closes the windows when she does it.” He said laughing remembering something. “She was so paranoid about getting caught before she met William, my step dad.” Danny laughed remembering how she would look out the windows every time she was about to or did something involving magic when he was younger. Then she said how glad she was that there was someone in London from Hogwarts and Danny smiled and laughed again. “Well your welcome.” He said laughing after she said she was glad. “Anytime you get bored or something just remember I’m close, kind of.” He said laughing
“So how has your summer been so far?” He asked her as he kept swings slowly. “Hopefully less boring then mine.” He added laughing.

Amelia was suddenly confused as Danny said that his parents were magical. She almost asked why they lived in Muggle London, but he answered her question before she could. She nodded and continued to listen. She smiled softly as he laughed about liking to live here. It was a nice place to live, she knew that. She nodded her agreement. When Danny explained how nervous his mother was whenever she did magic, Amelia joined his laughter. She would love to see her mother do magic, but the poor woman was a Muggle, through and through.
Amelia smiled warmly as Danny thanked her for her comment about being glad. She was too. It wasn't too common for her to see a fellow wizard in Muggle London. She shrugged and looked out at the children in the park. She looked at him once again when he told her that he was close by whenever she was bored. She smiled, looking at him. That was awfully sweet!
"Aww, thank you, Danny." She said, smiling, "That's awfully sweet of you. Considering we barely know eachother..." she paused, then shrugged and smiled at him. Then he asked how her summer was and she thought about it, looking back at the giggling children.
"I don't know. Boring, I guess. I don't really go anywhere during the summer. Isn't anything fun to do, now that I've gone to Hogwarts. Muggles seem so boring, now," She laughed and shook her head.

Danny looked over at the kids as they were playing and giggle and laughed a little as they ran around. It was fun to play tag and hide and seek when you’re that young but when you get older you just can’t do that anymore. People start thinking your weird or something, Danny laughed again then looked back to Amelia as she started talking again. Then Danny laughed as she thanked him and called him sweet for saying that he lived close. “Well that’s just who I am.” He said laughing. “Anyway you’d be helping me a lot more. I don’t have anything to do this summer.” He said smiling but kind of depressed about how boring this summer was going to be but he just smiled till it passed.
Danny just smiled as she described her summer. “Well I’ve been to the Alley, Hogsmeade and around parts of London and I’m still bored.” He said laughing. “I’ve even done some of the basic school shopping. Ink, robes, quills, all that stuff I was that bored.” Danny said still laughing then looked back at the kids playing again. “Muggles are boring compared to Hogwarts, almost everything is compared to being at Hogwarts.” He laughed still looking at the kids. “But still I think it would be fun to play tag and hide and seek like them.” He said smiling and kind of pointing to the group of kids playing tags. “But if I tried to join I would just be the creepy older kid.” He said and started laughed then looked back at Amelia.

The laughter of the children around her grew as a few more families entered the park and friends met up to play. Amelia smiled. It was a very nice day. The sun was shining and she had finally met a fellow wizard that summer, finally! It was nearly the end of summer and she was just now talking with someone from Hogwarts. Danny was just saying that Amelia was helping him by living so close by. She smiled sweetly. He seemed to be a very nice person. She had only spoken to him a few times, but at least she recognized him... well, once she had been able to see his face, anyway.
After she had described her boring summer, Danny described his. He told her where he had been and what he had done. She felt a pang of jealousy. He had been able to go to all those places and she was still stuck here in Muggle London, the endless routine of switching households every weekend. Her parents were Muggles and didn't know anything, really, about Hogsmead or Diagon Alley. So they were usually very hesitant about letting her go alone. She would usually try and remind them that she was almost 16 years old and that she was very capable to go alone, but they always countered with something to do with trust. Which then she would counter it being a trust issue. Fights with her parents always did become tiring. Amelia was rather quick with her words and she thought fast, so she was a worthy adversary to her parents wits.
Amelia snapped back to reality as Danny laughed about being able to play tag again without looking silly doing it! She smiled. It would be nice... in fact, Amelia wished, almost everyday, that she could be little again. The careless life she had once lived. No magic, no worries, no boy craze. She used to lay on the couch with her mother as a child while she watched TV and just sleep. She had never felt so comfortable or safe. Amelia looked down at her hands, her smile light on her lips. She looked back at Danny.
"You know, Danny. You're right. If you and I tried to go play tag or hide and seek, we would just be considered odd, wouldn't we?" She pretended to think for a moment, "But, then again, I'm already considered odd..." she left it hanging. Then she laughed at her own joke.

Danny looked at the kids as more people started to join the park they seemed to be meeting up with more friends and kept playing whatever they were playing again. He looked back at Amelia and she seemed to be thinking about something at the moment. Danny let her think all she wanted and when she looked up at him he smiled back. Then Danny hung back on the swing and stopped himself from falling by holding on the chain and smiled up at her when she said she was considered odd. “Join the club, we have shirts.” He said laughing as he looked up at the sky before pulled himself back up. Danny looked back at the kids again still running around laughing and having fun.
Danny then laughed as he thought to himself. “Well if your considered odd and I know for sure I’m odd then…” He then paused for a second laughing and smiled at Amelia. “Then your it.” He said laughing as he grabbed her hand. Danny Let go of her hand as he just pretended to hide behind the chain which was maybe only and inch in width instead of running away. Which Danny thought probably made him look like an idiot but it was better then running away if she didn‘t get the joke.

((Noooo! I love your posts! I'm really just trying to prove that I'm 6th year worthy- plus, Four Houses is the only time I get to really practice writing. I'm trying to be a writer someday... sorry!!! I do love your posts though ) Her laugh was genuine as Danny joked with the dyed-brunette soon-to-be-sixth-year. Her blue eyes twinkled with joy and her smile lit up her face. She was finally happy. For the first time that summer, she was actually feeling joyful. The divorce between her mother and step father, well ex-step father, was rather hard on her. She had convinced herself that she hated Ray, but as soon as he was gone, she was doubting that fact. She was missing Ray and that made her even more angry with herself. He was not the type of man who should be missed and it frustrated her. Amelia was glad, pure and truly glad. Danny was the first person that summer to actually make her smile for real and she was more grateful than he could probably understand. His jokes made her giggle and his smiles made her relax. It was just about time that she relaxed and laughed. His joke about a club for odd people made her giggle like a little girl. Danny looked out at the younger children who were laughing and squealing with delight. Amelia followed his gaze and couldn't help but smile lightly. Danny laughed and Amelia returned her attention to his smiling face. Still laughing, he said that they were both odd, so... he grabbed her hand while saying 'you're it'. Amelia laughed as he dropped her hand and pretended to hide behind the chain of the swing he sat on. She shook her head and laughed at how silly he looked. She felt as if all her cares were melting away and that made her so happy that she just smiled at him, her eyes bright and full of glee. "Danny..." she said, her laughter making it hard for her to speak, "You're a joy, you know that?" She continued to laugh and looked at him.

Danny laughed along with her. It was great to talk to someone from school. Besides the people he just met by running into them or something Amelia had to be on the top of the list, if there was one. It would be a pretty short list but still she would be on the top of it. Danny just looked over at Amelia and kept smiling. Danny always liked making people happy. Ever since he was a really young he could remember trying to make other people laugh or smile. Mostly his mom when she was sad or something but normally he just had to do something dumb to make her laugh. Danny laughed and stopped pretending to hide behind the chain when she said he was a joy as she was laughing.
“Well I know that now, thank you.” He said laughing. “I wonder if I can put that on a job resume or something.” Danny added still laughing. “Well sir I’m terrible with money but I am a joy.” He said as he looked over at Amelia smiling. “Anyway you’re a joy to Amelia.” Danny kept laughing as he was talking still looking over at her. It was true it was really great talking to her, probably the most fun he’s had this summer. “So besides giving someone a great day to remember what else do you like to do?” Danny said laughing looking over at Amelia.
(I was just joking and I don't think your going to have a problem becoming a writer. Also tell me when your first book or whatever it is comes out. ;D)

((Awww thanks. I hope so....and I will totally send a copy to you first, after my family and best friends and all that... lol. Actually everyone on four houses would probably get one. lol))
Amelia just continued to smile and looked down at the ground, watching the gravel move in a slight wind. Her wavy, dark brown hair flew back as the wind brushed against her face. She lifted her head and shut her eyes, enjoying the cool breeze.
She started to giggle once again when Danny, replying to her comment about him being a joy, asked if he could put something like that on his resume. He then acted out as if he were in an interview. Amelia's giggles turned into laughter as she looked back over at the fellow wizard. He smiled at her and said that she was a joy too. Her laughter faded out and she smiled sweetly at him.
"Aw, thank you," she said with a smile. They continued to smile at one another and then he turned the jokes into a conversation by asking what she liked to do. Amelia turned away from him as she thought about her answer, swinging ever so slightly. She bit her lip and then looked back over at him, a smile playing on her lips.
"Well..." she said with a toss of her auburn curls, "I want to be a writer some day, hopefully, and I just finished my first book. My step mom is trying to find me a publisher, but I don't know if it will. It's taken me all fifth year and half of fourth year just to finish that thing and now that it is, I don't know if I want to share it." She laughed a bit, "but anyway. I love reading and writing and," she paused, biting her lip once again, "do you know what a computer is?" She never told her magical friends about her very Muggle hobby. Electricity was banned from Hogwarts, which wasn't too bad, because, secretly, Amelia felt that if she spent every waking moment sitting in front of a computer screen that her mind would rot away. It was a bit hard for her, though. Leaving her favorite hobby at home while she went and did magic.
Amelia was worried. If Danny knew what a computer was and thought bad of her to like using one so much, maybe he wouldn't want to talk with her anymore. She almost immediately dismissed the silly thoughts. Danny wasn't that close-minded, was he? He seemed too nice to just hate someone for liking computers, but Amelia just couldn't shake the worries from her head.

Danny listened to her as she talked about what she liked to do and was a little shocked that she had already written a book at this age. Danny could barely finish most of his homework let alone be able to write a book. “I’m sure you’ll be a great writer.” He said smiling looking over at her then looked at the ground and moved the lose gravel around with his shoe. “I wish I knew what I was going to do with my life.” He thought to himself, and then looked up. “Well I’ll just have to worry about that when the time comes.” He muttered to himself laughing. Danny was always like that, not worrying about anything or planning anything till the last moment. It made his mom so mad that he didn’t know what he wanted to do when he got out of school. Danny snapped back to the real world and looked over at Amelia when she asked him if he knew what a computer was. He just sat there for a second. “Computer…computer.” Danny said to himself as he was thinking. “O yea those muggle typewriter…TV things.” He said laughing at how poorly he tried to describe it. “I’ve seen one before I’ve just never used one or been close to one.” He added still smiling looking back at the ground moving the loose gravel again with his shoe. “So what about them?” Danny asked looking over at Amelia. (Awesome! )

Relief swept over the teenage girl when Danny just shrugged off the question and seemed indifferent to whatever they did. She smiled, glad that he didn't seem prejudice or anything. Laughing at his description of one, Amelia shrugged at his question, acting causal about the whole thing. In truth, however, she was still sort of scared. Most wizards frowned on Muggle inventions. Honestly, Amelia was glad that Muggles had found a way to live without magic. Of course, they would probably had to, consider none of them really knew about magic unless a witch or wizard told them about it. Her family, except her grandmother, of course, wouldn't believe a thing. Her parents only accepted it, because her grandmother stepped in. It was common in the Richardson side of the family for the magical gene to skip a generation. It had been doing that since the beginning of the Richardson line!
"Well. They have this thing called the Internet and, well, I spend hours on it," she laughed a bit nervously, "Basically, its a screen, a mouse, and a keyboard and all of them are connected to electricity. If you've taken Muggle Studies, you probably know what that is. If you haven't... well, I guess I can explain it a bit better..." she paused, biting her lip. How would she explain something like a computer?
"Anyway. The Internet makes is a huge network of computers. A person can talk to someone far away, kind of like a phone, only less complicated. All you have to do is sign in and there you go!" Amelia hoped he understood. It was hard enough to try and explain it.
"You can play games too..." she said, "Muggles can make all sorts of games. Role playing, which lets you on the Internet to play with other people. Or just computer games on the PC. I mean, the computer." She sighed and laughed a bit, "Do you get any of this?" She finally asked.

Danny listened as she tried to explain what a computer really did and how it worked kind of. Danny just nodded his head as he started to somewhat understand what it was but he was still pretty confused on what they were. But Danny knew he wasn’t going to fully understand whatever it was in just one explanation and he was fine with that. It did sound like a great muggle invention when she got to the games part he thought and laughed to himself. Then when she seemed to be done explaining it she asked him if he understood anything of what she just said. “Only the small words like the and it’s .” He said laughing looking over at her. “No I understood most of it.” Danny said now smiling. “Sounds like fun.”
Danny hung back on the chains again and looked up at the sky. “Some many clouds.” He muttered to himself. “I Wish I could use my broom around here.” he said out loud talking to himself. Danny was daydreaming again this time about flying on his broom. It would have been a perfect day for it. As he looked up at the sky and just watched as all the clouds moved then he looked over at Amelia and pulled himself back up. “Sorry about that.” Danny said laughing. He didn’t want to seem rude or anything. “ I day dream way to much so that happens a lot.” It was true Danny always did daydream way too much no matter what was going on at the time. “It would be the perfect day to fly but I only get to do that when we’re in the country.”

Amelia laughed, of course, at Danny's joke and then nodded when he got a bit serious about his answer to her question. She left it alone after that, feeling a bit foolish at trying to explain it like she did. Sometimes, she thought she looked as if she were trying to hard to be smart. Who knows, maybe she was just self-conscious or something. She never did think that well of herself. Her moods could dip into depression at any time, but she always seemed to find a way out, which was, of course, a good thing. She smiled at him and then watched as he leaned back on the chain. He seemed to be day dreaming or something and started to mutter to himself about flying. Amelia sighed a small, contented sigh and leaned back herself, looking up at the bright blue morning sky.
Her smile was faint and her eyes slid closed for a quick second. She loved to fly. Her broom was, if nothing else, very old and cheep, but it was all she could afford. Being a Muggleborn, she didn't have a lot of money. Her grandmother helped a lot, though. Well, when she was in town. Her grandmother traveled quite a bit with her husband. Ever since they both retired, they bought a motor-home and traveled everywhere. They loved Rome the most, though. Amelia jerked herself from her thoughts when Danny said something.
She sat up and looked at him. He said he was sorry and Amelia shrugged it off with a shake of her head and a smile that said 'don't worry about'. He then commented on how perfect the day was for flying. Amelia nodded her agreement, looking back at the sky. A mischievous sort of smile crossed her lips then and she regarded her new friend. Her eyes twinkled and a sudden hunger for mischief came to mind. She had been locked up in Muggle London for far too long. She needed to break free.
Amelia sat up a little straighter and looked around. She licked her lips and giggled, an almost evil giggle. She turned toward Danny, her eyes betraying her thoughts.
"Wanna go on a broom ride?" She asked with a mischievous grin and that same twinkle in her eye that clearly said she wanted to do something that would get her into trouble.

Danny just looked over at her as she didn’t seem to mind that he was daydreaming when they were just talking. Amelia also agreed that today would be a great day for flying by nodding her head. Danny looked back up at the sky and really just wanted to fly nothing would probably have been better that this moment. He then looked over at Amelia when she seemed to have been giggling. Danny was pretty sure she was having the same thought that he was in the back of his head and smiled along with her. Then she asked him if he wanted to go on a broom ride with her and Danny smiled even more. “I thought you would never ask.” Danny said laughing looking back up at the sky. “ I’m so glad I left the house today.” He muttered to himself happily then turned to Amelia.
He was going to ask her if she had a broom for second till he realized how dumb that would have sounded. She’s the one who asked him so she most likely did have one. Danny stood up then turned and looked over at her still smiling. “So how should we do this, we both go get our brooms and meet up somewhere?” He said still smiling. He knew he would probably get in even more trouble if his parents found out first he left the house then went off to ride his broom while they were gone but Danny didn’t care. Normally when they grounded him they let him leave just to get him out of the house and stop bugging them.

Amelia's heart flipped. A broom ride! Yes! She smiled triumphantly. This was exactly what she needed. Flying through the air with a friend. She smiled and then giggled when he mumbled something under his breath. It sounded like he said he was really glad he left the house. She smiled a bit sheepishly at him and stood when he did. He asked what they should do. Amelia shrugged.
"I've got an extra broom. You can borrow one of mine." She smiled, grabbing his hand and running off towards her house.
((sorry it's so short. I just don't have a lot of inspiration today.))

Danny smiled as he stood there waiting for Amelia to tell him what the plan was. Danny in the back of his head knew he would be in so much trouble if he got caught by his parents then started laughing. It was funny how he was more worried about getting caught by his mom and William then he was about getting seen flying by muggles. He kept laughing till Amelia started talking. Danny was about to say he had his own broom at home but she had already grabbed his hand and was heading off to her house so he didn’t say anything. Danny laughed to himself . “Why ruin the moment” He thought as he laughed.
After what seemed like a few minutes Amelia started to slow down and so Danny did to. He guessed they were finally getting close to her house. Then they stopped in front one house and Danny smiled at her guessing this was her house. “I’ll just wait outside. I’m sure your family doesn’t want odd people like me just running around in your house.” He said laughing then back to smiling at her.
(It's alright.)
