Katie also burst into tears not for her but Kiyla.
She went on her knees and put her right arm around Kiyla and started to comfort her.
She knew nothing would work to get the memories out of kiyla mind. She two was trying to forget when her mother died.
As Kiyla was on the ground bursting into tears Katie started to say kind words.
"I know I haven’t gone through the pain you were in...... And I know that I could never image what it was like...." Katie struggled to say.
"I also know you can’t lose the memories but you have to have to think of the good. Think of your friend’s happiness" Katie said patting her back.

Kiyla cried harder and she could feel Katie and hear Katie crying as well. She didn't say a thing when Katie talked. She just listened and cried. She knew one day she would have to tell her memories but somethings she wanted to keep. Though some were painful they showed her who she was.
"Thank you." She finally whispered. She had told herself to stop crying because she knew she could be there crying all day. She stood up and sat on the bench and then hugged Katie.

Katie hugged Kiyla back and let her cry some more. She knew Kiyla was strong because she got right back up.
"It’s okay to cry....." Katie said quietly patting her back.
"It’s also a triumph when you can stop and get back up" Katie said continuing to pat her back.
"The memories will still haunt you but by each day and each year you will get stronger and try to push the memories away for you future." Katie said pulling away from Kiyla.
Katie looked at Kiyla red face and wiped away the tears with her hands.

Kiyla nodded unenthusicatically. She didn't really believe Katie much but she decided she might as well try.
"Thank you. You are a good friend." Kiyla said.
"OH and the only reason I stopped myself was because I didn't want to keep cryign all day." Kiyla said with a dry laugh.

Katie also gave a tiny laugh.
"Yes but you stopped yourself and got right back up that’s still a triumph" Katie said smiling at Kiyla.
She than continued to look at Kyila dazed. She wonted to change the subject for Kiyla own sake.
"I have an Idea" Katie said grabbing her guitar and putting it on Kiyla.
"I will teach you how to play it focus your emotion on playing" Katie said adjusting Kiyla hands in the right place of the guitar.
Katie trusted Kiyla with her mother’s guitar. Katie than gave her a big smile.

Kiyla jumped nervously as Katie put her guitar in her hands.
"What.... I can't play this!" She said quickly trying to give it back to Katie.

Katie smiled as Kiyla tried to give her back the guitar. She nodded her head.
"I will teach you" Katie said once again putting the guitar back in Kiyla hands and making her hold it the right way.
She looked at Kiyla with a kind face waiting to see if she will let her show her the right way to play.

Kiyla sighed. Katie was stubborn and she figured why waste her strength. She nodded slowly.

Katie smiled at Kiyla. She knew once Kiyla was as good as her she will be hock and be happier about herself.
After thirty minutes of teaching Kiyla the first song Katie than leaned back to listen to see if she got it right.
As Kiyla played Katie closed her eyes as the beautiful music hong in the air.
"That was so good you are a very fast learner!" Katie said smiling proudly at Kiyla.

Kiyla watched intently was Katie showed her how to play. She realized that it wasn't that hard. Plus it also helped that she was a fast learner. After thirty minutes or so Katie let Kiyla play a song by herself. Kiyla a bit nervous messed up a few times but she kep starting over until it was right. When she got done Katie complimented her.
"Oh come on! It was not good. I messed up like a hundred times!" Kiyla said biting her lip.

Katie nodded her head at Kiyla. She was like that when she first played. Her mother told her to kept on trying and never give up no matter what.
"That too was good." Katie said smiling at Kyila as she almost gave up. She pulled back her long brown hair and closed her eyes ready to hear it again.
"Keep on trying....." Katie said with her eyes closed as she heard Kyila continue to play.

Kiyla nodded and took a deep breathe. She played the song again this time concentrating harder. She tried to put her emotion into the song. She played it and stoped and restarted and played it again. At the end of the song she stopped and smiled at Katie.
"Whaddya think?"

Katie smiled again so proudly. She was very shoked Kiyla learned this very fast.
"You are ready to write your own songs you just got to learn some of the notes." Katie said smiling and grabbing her backpack.
She had her own beginner’s song to writing notes to the guitar book in her bag and she got it out and gave it to Kiyla.
'If you won’t to be better you need this" Katie said smiling holding the book out to Kiyla.

Parvati hummed to herself, dragging her fingers along the bush, and closed her eyes in deep thought of something to draw. Sighing, Parvati stopped walking and opened her sketchbook to her doodle page. No ideas were coming to her, and this caused Parvati to doodle. She looked up from her sketchbook and smiled when she saw a group of her friends around a tree. She closed her book and headed over, hoping they didn't mind if she joined.
"Hello," She greeted as she brushed away her bangs from her brown eyes.
"Mind if I sit here?" Parvati asked as she pointed to an empty spot near Katie.

Katie flashed Parvati a big smile and nodded her head.
"No you can't Parvati." Katie said with a sly smile and started to laugh.
"Only kidding you can sit with us" Katie said taking out her note book full of music and prank ideas.
"So how have you been anything new I should know?" Katie asked Parvati as she wrote some ideas down on paper.
Katie was beginning to become comfterable with Parvati and she can now be herself. Normally she is all shy and not so talkative when she gose to a new place and meets new people.

Parvati raised an eyebrow at Katie, then smiled and sat down in the spot she had pointed to. Setting her sketchbook down near her, her fingers still itching to sketch.
"Oh...no nothing new. Just trying to replace the drawings I burned away..." Parvati mumbled slightly, lowering her head in shame. She remembered the night clearly, the night she had thrown some of her pictures into the common room fire out of rage towards her sister. She sighed at herself and looked back up.
"What about you?" She asked.

Katie looked up from her journal and smiled at Parvati.
"Oh nothing thinking of more prank ideas.... lets just say their something going to be going on at flying lessons." Katie said raising her eyebrows at Parvati.
"I think that you should drawl me" Katie said with a smile. She knew she wasn’t that pretty she will be like the Mona Lisa.

Parvati laughed at Katie's slight hint of her next prank. She then blinked as Katie asked her to draw her. Parvati bit her lip and opened her sketchbook once more.
"Alright..." Parvati picked up her pencil and drug it across the paper, making light lines and dark shades. She curved a line into a C, making an outline of an ear, then formed it into one. She bit her lip as she continued to sketch. It was too silent. They needed to talk.

Jordan had been dazing in and out of the conversation. Her mind wandering to thoughts about someone special. When Parvati joined, she was still dazed. Then she started to draw, and Jordan was jolted back to reality. She walked over and sat behind Parvati looking over her shoulder.
"That's wicked! My drawings, are okay! But these!" Jordan exclaimed as she continued to watch the sixth year draw. Her mind raced with questions about shading and lines, and textures. Questions she wanted to ask Parvati, but not right now...maybe some other time.

Katie stared off into space not moving an itch of her body. She was thinking of her crush, flying lessons, and prank ideas. She than noticed Jordan compliment Parvati on her art work.
"Dose that mean I am ugly" Katie said in a playing around voice.
As everything started to get quite it’s reminded her of her days back at the manor alone. She hated to the silence and no one being around her. Katie started to hum to herself to take up some of the silence that was still in the air.
