It was a nice Thursday afternoon and classes let out. Katie was just in the Gryffindor common working on homework. After a while Katie finally finished and she got her Guitar and went out to the courtyard to play in the sunshine.
She walking down the rows of flowers and took a deep breathe of the fresh air and then closed her eyes and than open them again.
"Awe it is a beautiful day" Katie said to herself settling down in a spot under a large tree. She than looked around her everybody was either in their common rooms or the library having fun. She than noticed a boy in the distance coming towards her. She ignored him and started to play.

(Okay, considering its and anyone else I will take that as an invitation to join  Also, Katie I am going to make the melody you are playing an upbeat one...kay?) Jordan Cortes slid down the big cement banister of the stairs, got caught by a professor, apologized and continued on her way to the courtyard. Jordan smiled as she heard a fast upbeat melody playing in the distance. "Oi!" She said as she ran out into the courtyard and saw Katie Davenport playing the music. Jordan closed her eyes and tilted her head to the music before walking closer. "Keep it up...I want to try something." Jordan said as she placed her bag down and clapped her hands together. The music continued and Jordan smiled. "La. La la la la. La la. Laa. La la. La. La la la la." Jordan said. She burst out laughing and sat down next to Katie. "Hiya." She said. |

Katie looked at Jordan and made one last strung and smiled.
"Hey that was good" Katie said laughing a bit.
"So what brings you out here on this beautiful day" Katie said continuing to play.

Jordan shook her head.
"Nah, it was just 'la.'" Jordan answered with a small smile.
"What brings me out here? I don't know. Good question, must think about it." Jordan then tilted her head in deep thought and furrowed her eyebrow.

Katie raised her eyebrow at Jordan.
"Is it a boy or is it just you wonted to see me" Katie said with a big smile and a laugh.

Jordan snapped out of her reverie and looked at the first year oddly.
"Not typically no, considering there are no boys worth liking here at Hogwarts. So I will give you the latter. I came to see you, Katie! What else would I do?" She answered with a broad smile and her mind racing with million things. She hadn't meant to lie, it just slipped. There was one boy at Hogwarts worth talking to, but... Jordan stopped herself from thinking anymore and nodded a short nod as if to say "that is the end of this conversation tpoic."
"What about you?" Jordan asked, as she pulled her hair up into a messey bun and sighed. She bit her nails and waited for the Gryffindor's answer.

Katie continued to look at Jordan as she bit her fingernails. Katie knew this was a bad habit if someone lied or was nervous.
"I wonted to play my guitar in the sunshine might practice some spells...." Katie thought trying to remember that one spell.

"Ahh, I see. Well, mind if I listen, sing a few tunes to it?" She asked, her right eyebrow raised and her nails stopped being bitten. She loved to sing, almost as much as she loved to draw. Maybe less. Jordan tilted her head and looked at Katie. Hoping her answer would be yes. "I mean, you don't have to let me." She added quickly, hoping that she didn't sound too rude. |

Katie was dazed as Jordan asked her to sing.
"Ummm... sure, have you ever heard of Evanescence well if you have I am just going to sing my immortal I made it so that you can play it on the guitar" Katie said starting to begin.
"I'm so tired of being here

Jordan looked up as Katie began to sing. Jordan smiled and joined in. Carrying on the next verse, seeing as Katie did not.

Katie than made a last strung and opened her eyes and smiled at Jordan.
"That was really good" Katie said smiling. She thought Jordan had a better voice than she did.
"Are there any more songs you won’t me to play...?” Katie asked interested in what kind of music Jordan liked.

(Sorry, didn't see this post.. But, I'm here!  ) Jaquin's bag was full of textbooks on advanced magibiology as he strolled through the courtyard. There was a plethora and amalgamation of feelings in the air, some euphoric and some dissapointed. He heard racous and tumultuous yelling resonate through the corridor as troublemakers winded their way through the crowds. From a distance, he could see multitudinous students, but, none that he recalled as someone he new....until he spotted Jordan, the Hufflepuff beater he had played against only a few days ago. He strolled up to the bench that they were sitting on and inquired, "So, enjoying the day?" |

Kiyla walked outside in a good mood. She was even humming to herself. Which she seemed to be doing more often. She heard someone singing and paused. They sounded really good and Kiyla even reconized the song. She loved that song. She walked closer to see Jordan and Katie with her guitar and smiled to herself leaning on a tree. She watched an older boy walk over to them and talk to them. She smiled to herself and watched them quietly.
'I wish i could sing like that.' Kiyla thought to herself.
'Who said you could sing at all?" A nasty voice said in Kiyla's head. Kiyla shurgged and shook her head and watched her friends... and the boy interact.

Katie looked at Jaquin continuing to play. She always loved music in the back ground when she talked to people.
"I guess I am enjoying myself" Katie said shifting her gaze from Jaquin to Jordan. She raised her eyebrows at here because she was hiding back something.
Katie than continued to play the back ground music. She than looked over in the distance and noticed Kyila. She waved at her.
"Kyila come over hear" Katie yelled for her hoping she will come over and join the conversion.

Jordan looked up as Jaquin joined them. She smiled and nodded slightly at his question.
"Slightly. Nothing to draw though, that's a shame." Jordan answered as she pulled her shoulderbag near her and withdrew a box of chocolates.
"Anyone want some?" She asked, as she took a caramel chew and bit into it. As most people knew Jordan had an enourmos sweet tooth.

Kiyla sighed as she saw that Katie noticed her. She didn't want to be noticed... not yet anyway. She walked from around teh tree and replaced her frown with a smile.
"Hey." She said. She sat down next to Katie. She smiled at the younger Gryffindor. She knew her but not very well, but well enough she presumed. She noticed Jordan eating candy... of course.
'That girl has a sweet tooth like no other,' Kiyla thought with a small smile.

Katie looked at Jordan and saw tons of chocolate. Her eyes widden in shock. She never saw that much chocolate in her life.
"Man I thought you were kidding" Katie said smiling. She nodded her head no as Jordan offered some. Katie wasn’t much of an eating person. She ate but just not allot.
Katie than look next to her at Kyila and smiled.
"I thought we could get to know each other better" Katie said looking at Kyila with her twinkling green eyes. She had to know her friends before calling them best friends.

"I'd like that a lot." She said. She knew her and Katie could be good friends. Katie reminded her of

"I'm not good at anythign really." She said and she turned away and looked at the fountain.
She didn't really know what she was good at. She supposed she could sing but no one had ever told her she could sing because no one heard her sing.
