Aden stood silently and watched the proceedings in calculative silence. He merely looked at Millicent when she responded to his comment and he decided to leave it at that. It wasn’t in his best interest to try and change a queens way of thinking, and there was no use arguing about it now. He watched Desiray storm out of the shop and smirked, now there was a disgraceful exit. He decided to remain strangely quiet during these moments. Deciding to just remain a silent onlooker. He had to suppress a chuckle as the third year Ravenclaw attempted to try and outsmart Millicent with his little twisted view of the proceedings. Even if Millicent wanted to kill him, which she no doubt didn’t want to waste her time doing, she would be smart enough to not do it in public, and she would have enough influence to get away scotch free.
Just than another Ravenclaw appeared. This one older. A few more words were exchanged and than people began to sit back down at the table. Everyone was seated except him and Perseus. This newcomer, Dana, Aden now recognized her, made a comment about not needing bodyguards and asked them to sit. Aden shot a glance at Perseus and noticed the he had taken a seat. Aden shrugged. “Sure, why not?” He took a seat himself.

((If you'd care to notice guys Tristan didn't tell the slytherins to leave. He simply wandered why they were still here and asked. He didn't care if they stayed or left. He was never rude to the Slytherins he just didn't see why he sould suck up to them. no rudness was intended. )) Tristan placed the tray back down on the table and took a sip of tea. He felt more relaxed than he had earlier this morning and he sat back in his chair, more at ease. he didn't see why Cass thought he didn't want the Slytherin's there. He knew that most Slytherins might not be the type of company he liked to immerse himself in, but he was not about to judge them personally now. not based on other people and what he knew about them at present which was pracitically nothing. Just then the waitress appeard and asked Tristan if he wanted anything, "Nothing for me thanks... Anyone else? Tristan looked questioningly at the other members of this bizzar congregation. He didn't want to be rude...(( ))

Lavender sat quietly and accepted a crumpet from Tristan, a ravenclaw thrid year she had mt before. She had obviously come at an awkward moment. there were a few looks being exchanged here and none of them pleasent. There was negative energy here. Lavender could feel it. She closed her eyes and began to tune into the psycic relm. She was getting negative energy from the group. There was resentment among them. She focussed on sending out calming positive engery from her being into the group. When she was satisfied she opened her eyes and began to rummage in her bag. By now a couple of eyes where on her. "Sorry." She whispered.
A minute later she withdrew two bottles from her bag. She unscrewed the lid of one of them. Lavender essensial oil. After sprinkling a few drops over the area Lavender took the next bottle and repeated what she had done before. This time it was sweet orange oil. Lavender for psycic protecting and sweet orange for uplifting the mood. Satisfied she sat down again and waited to see what would happen next. Perhaps she could figure out what was going on...

Dana didn’t even hide a quick flash a smile at Millicent’s words: “Well, dealing with such situations can ruin everyone’s mood. Unfortunately such things have to be handled.” Dana’s eyes laughed – the situation had been disturbing earlier, but right now Dana was amused to know end. Besides – as a general rule it was fun talking to Slytherins thanks to their quick and witty comebacks. Taking in Millicent Dana decided that she might be rather fun as well, even though she was known for sometimes preferring to use physical violence. She was the same height as Dana was, but Millicent seemed rather strong so there might be some truth to that rumor. Shooting a quick glance towards Aden who had sat as well, Dana’s lips quirked in a quick smile as well as she shot back with irony: “Oh, how nice of you to actually join us. Should we hold a celebration in your honor now?”
Dana watched curiously as the Gryffindor sixth year closer her eyes and seemed to be meditating or something like that. Dana herself didn’t care about Divination so when the girl pulled out some two bottles Dana whipped out her wand. “No-no-no-no-no, I don’t want that stuff on me,” Dana’s nose twitched at the too sweet smell of the orange perfume, as she banished all traces of the oils from her close vicinity, “No offence, but I don’t like different lotions or perfumes or oils or whatever those were. Especially if they are sprinkled on me randomly.” Dana sent a half-smile towards the girl as a way of apologizing and reached out her hand: “I’m Dana Coran by the way. Pleasure to meet you as I don’t really recall knowing you earlier.”
Leaning back in her seat Dana took a careful sip of her coffee and observed the situation with an amused smile

Lavender tilted her head, trying to read Dana's aura. She seemed closed. Not open to new ideas without knowing about them first. Hmmm. Yes, She was definitely a Ravenclaw. You could see it in her eyes. They appeared bright and calculating. Like she was always thinking or something. It was true that these essential oils were scientifically proven to uplift and protect, but obviously Dana wasn't as absorbed in the psyche as Lavender was. Lavender put a drop of jasmine oil on her finger and rubbed it into her neck. It smelled of wild flowers and spring. Chinese Jasmine tea. Or was that Millicent's beverage? Lavender ordered herself a small pot of Jasmine tea. It was good for clearing the mind and refreshing the senses.
"Sorry..." Lavender said vaguely before she became more aware, "I meant no offence Dana." Lavender shook Dana's outstretched hand and returned her smile. Lavender coughed slightly. A sign that she wanted to say something, but had refrained from doing so. It was true. She wanted to tell Dana to see past the mundane, but thinking it inappropriate she kept her mouth closed. Dana was warm though. Friendly if not a little closed minded. Lavender wanted to get to know her. She was happy to make new friends and this person seemed like a good soul.
"Would you like some Jasmine tea?" Lavender asked nobody in particular. She smiled at Millicent. Yes Millicent was in her grade and had a notorious reputation, but she was not stupid. And Lavender held a little respect for her hidden amongst the fear, more so knowing she had ordered Jasmine tea. Lavender had a tendency to try to read people based on the limited information she had on them and at the moment she just knew Millicent liked Jasmine tea. And this was information enough for Lavender to give respect which though little in value was all she could give to her at the moment.
The storm was raging on outside and darker clouds were rolling in from the mountains of the Scottish country landscape to surround the little village. Lavender gazed outside and watched the rain land in puddles on the cobble-stones. A man with a horse draw carriage rode past through the violent weather and Lavender was thankful she was inside. She did love to watch the rain though; By a fire with classical music playing. Now all she was missing was the music, but Lavender liked being here. She wasn't going to leave soon, she wanted to know what was going on here and her curiosity told her that if she stuck around for a little longer she might find out.

Cass eyes raised as she watched Lavender sprinkly the little bottes of oil all over the table. Not that Cass cared, but she sure didn't think that owners of the establishment wanted that stuff on the table. Taking a napkin, she wiped it off the table as discretely as possible. " I understand about Desiray. She is a bit....overbearing at times. Oh yes, I didn't introduce myself, I'm Cassandra, Cass for short if you wish." She smiled at the girl. It was quite evident that Cass didn't like Queens, but she wasn't going to rude if she didn't have to be.
She turned to Lavender. " Yes, Jasmine tea would be lovely."

((Lavender only sprinkled a few drops. not all over the table )) Lavender handed the tea pot and a cup to Cass. She tried to read Cass. Polite, curt, but she was hiding somthing from Lavender. She didn't know what but she could feel it. Lavender gave her a meek smile as she noticed Cass wiping a drop of essential oil off the table. She supposed it was her choice to do so, but she couldn't believe how closed minded cass was being. At least Dana had said she didn't like it as opposed to secretly destroying her effort to make this group a little more cheerful. Oh well. Lavender wasn't going to say anything to her about it. She supposed it was Cassandra's own choice. Lavender took a sip of tea and let the fresh herbs consume and soothe her while she watche dthe conversation at the table.

"So, Dana," Tristan said after an awkward silence consisting of Lavender spotting Cass wiping her oils of the table. "What did you come to hogsmeade for?" He couldn't really think of anything else to say and the silence was getting to him. He hoped Dana's answer would spurr on the conversation here at the table rather than risk another awkward silence.

Dana arched an eye-brow as Lavender apologized. “No offence taken, but I really do hate such kinds of stuff being sprinkled on me. They always seem so… oily,” Dana answered perfectly calmly, hoping that Lavender might actually remember it if they should ever run into each other in the Hogwarts castle again. One raised eye-brow when Lavender coughed as if wanting to say something, but Dana didn’t bother to ask and just turned the cup in front of her. Letting out a burst of laughter as Cass dried the oil off from the table counter, Dana shielded it with a cough and moved her head with a smirk playing on her lips.
As Tristan asked why Dana was in Hogsmeade, she just shrugged: “Came with a couple of friends. I needed to restock on some of my potions ingredients as well. I can use Kris’ only that far, besides our classes aren’t usually together. Even though Shape’s a good teacher I would prefer not having to see him in detention. He really should brew himself some shampoo if he’s so paranoid that doesn’t trust the same shampoos other people use. COnsidering hte fact that he is a potions master and a rather intelligent guy, I doubt he'd have any problems brewing it.”
Thoughtfully taking a bite of the rum-cake in front of her Dana thought about potions class. She managed somewhat normally in the class but under no circumstances was she one of the best out there. Potions was one of those subjects where Dana hoped for an ‘E’ for her OWLs.

After her little reply to the Gryff Millicent sat silently and watched the happening of the others; the boys from Slytherin sat down and the others seemed to be having an invisible dispute amongst themselves. It was understandable though; the lunatic who had joined them was putting junk on the table and seemingly to get in Millie’s good graces had abandoned the tea on the table in favour of jasmine; as Millicent had. Millicent despised people who did that; ordered the same thing as you. It didn’t matter whether or not she honestly did prefer jasmine; fact was it appeared as if she had no mind of her own but was trying to look original.
The Ravenclaw boy who had once more joined them asked the older Ravenclaw why she was in Hogsmead, which some how lead to a pitiful quip about Professor Snape. Potions happened to be Millicent’s favourite class; and she thought Snape a brilliant man and wonderful professor. She didn’t much appreciate this girl’s attempt at cleverness. As she took the last sip of her tea Millicent stood up. Addressing the group she said flatly. “Well this has been torture… Good thing is I think I haven completed all the community service I will ever need. Good-bye.” And with that she walked out of the teashop into the rain without hearing a word spoken; if any even were. The water pounded the street and Millicent was getting drenched; she adored the rain and didn’t want to shield herself, the package had a waterproof seal anyways.

Lavender noticed pointedly that Dana's sudden burst of laughter was because Cass was wiping the essential oils off the table. Lavender felt her cheeks growing red and she appeared to become suddenly interested in a speck of dirt on the table. She felt very hurt by the way Dana had laughed and this was clearly displayed on her face. Lavender thought that perhaps Dana wasn't such as warm as she had first thought. Perhaps she was one of "them". One of the people who made snide remarks behind her back as she walked by. One of the people who stuck their foot out when she made her way to a desk in class. One of the people who mocked her the day she had cried about the death of her bunny rabbit in her third year. Perhaps Dana Corran was one of "them". It seemed evident by the way she was acting.
Lavender breathed a sigh of relief as Millicent left the table. The girl had a distinct aura about her. Perhaps it was... yes. It was cold. cruel. Although Lavender had a little respect for the girl she was thankful she had gone. Millicent seemed to have the air of a person who made mean judgements of people without knowing who they actually were and Lavender didn't want to spend her time around a person like that. Lavender turned to Dana, trying very hard to be nice to this person; there might have been a chance to befriends her still, "I know a wonderful recipe for shampoo which heals split ends and nourishes the hair. It provides natural ingredients which, if applied correctly, will actually make the hair stronger, smoother and much more manageable. My grandmother taught it to me..." Lavender was a bubbly person if not a little reserved at times when she was divining, but she broke off what she was saying suddenly. It was because of her grandmother. She had past away just last year and Lavender had been very upset. They had been very close.
She sat in silence for a few minutes, watching the events at the table before getting out her diary and a little pencil she had handy. She began to sketch an image on the next blank page after Tuesday’s entry. It was a picture of her grandmother’s hands. They had fascinated Lavender as a child. Every wrinkle, every mark was a sign of wisdom. The woman had been places, done things that few people had every done. Lavender used to sit and examined her grandmother’s hands. They gave fascinating palm readings when Lavender was practicing in her third year. After a few more minutes she held the picture away from her face to examine her work before shutting the diary with a little snap and placing it back in her bag. She took another sip of her tea and gazed around the table, wanting to know what the current conversation was about.

Dana grinned at Millicent’s comment as the sixth year Slytherin stood and left the pub. Maybe her words might have seemed offensive, to some, but Dana just found them amusing. Besides it was never too good to take everything too personally or seriously. Measuring the rest of the group seated around the table Dana weighed her options in her mind. She could stay here and have some more of the rum-cake that was incredibly taste. Or she could move on a bit. And talk about shampoos.
“Sounds like a nice recipe. I usually use the one my hair-dresser suggested me. Or go to the hair-salon here, when I’m feeling lazy or want to spoil myself a little,” Dana answered with a careless shrug. Dana was rich. Rich even when compared to the pure-blooded families in Slytherin, who were well-off, so at times the old-money spoke in her. Mainly because Dana was just so used to it, so going to a hair-dresser a coupleof times a month would be no worry to her. “It has worked so far,” Dana pulled a strand of sleek black hair with a small smile as she stood and walked around the table as she exited the booth, “Anyway – I need a pair of new gloves for quidditch and a new blouse, so I better get moving, as it seems that the weather won’t be improving today.”
“Aden, Perseus. Lavender, Tristan,” Dana’s reserved smile was directed to all of them, before she smiled a bit more warmly to Cass, “I’ll see you later, Cass. But I’ll be going now. Enjoy your coffee or tea, whatever the case is.”
One more nod and Dana departed from the pub stepping into the rain and moving forward down the street with the rain once again starting to soak her.
