Elle strolled down the streets of downtown London. It was great to be home after all that time in Hogsmeade, even though she did admit that she quite liked their quaint shops and little dirt roads. The weather was wonderful today, not too hot, but hot enough to be wearing shorts and a camisole. Even so, Elle didn't have to pull her hair back into a ponytail, as it wasn't sunny, and her loose hair wouldn't be plastered to her scalp after awhile.
She smiled, and even started whistling a little tune as she walked. A breeze blew her perfectly combed hair around, messing it up a little, but today was too perfect for Elle to care. Purse in hand, she was ready to do some serious shopping with her muggle friends, and had agreed to meet them in a certain Aeropostale clothing shop. (OOC: Do they even HAVE that in London? I didn't see any when I went, but whatever.) She was glad for once that her purse was filled with regular, paper muggle money, with a few coins, as opposed to the heavier galleons, which normally weighed down her handbag.
She was about to go in the store, when she saw a familiar face. Wasn't that a hufflepuff? Then, as she got closer, she realized it was Thomas, whom she never really talked to, but had seen around occasionally, and knew his name. What's he doing here? she wondered. Deciding to say a quick hello, she walked up to him.
"Hey!" she said, "What brings you here?"

Thomas was standing Beside a building just waiting there for his mom to get done shopping which was taking years. " Jeez what is she doing in there buying the whole darn store." He said thinking out loud. He had been dragged everywhere by his mom since he didn't return home this summer. "I guess I deserve this." He said smiling looking up. ” At lest its nice out here if it wasn't I would have to be inside with them." Thomas thought to himself smiling. Thomas then saw someone walking to him. He couldn't remember where but he had seen her before. She had walked right up to him and said "Hey". Thomas then remembered her she was the girl from the train.
"Hey." Thomas said smiling, he was a little shocked he didn't remember her sooner. "I'm just waiting for my mom to get out of this shop it's taking forever." Thomas said looking over at Elle, then the voice of a woman asking how much something was came from the shop. "and now it's going to take even longer." Thomas just smiled and laughed. "So what are you doing here?" Thomas said still smiling.
(OOC: I'm pretty sure they do but I don't really know. Also sorry it toke so long Someone kept calling me .)

Elle laughed. She knew exactly what Thomas felt like. When she was little, she wasn't too fond of shopping, but it kinda grew on her and now she could spend a whole day in a store and not think a thing about it. He must remember that...fiasco on the train, Elle thought, noting Thomas' expression before he spoke. "Well I'm just going into the store beside the one your mom is in. You know, Aeropostale," Elle said, "I love that place. Always all these really good sales. And well, you see, I'm kinda a sale shopper. But yeah, I headed towards there because all my muggle friends that I haven't seen in FOREVER are meeting me there." Elle emphasized the word, 'Forever.' Then, she pulled her cell phone out of her purse, looked at the screen, and frowned, noting that she was about fifteen minutes early. "Well I guess I was just so eager to see all of them, and well, I walked kinda fast, and now I'm a whole fifteen minutes early," Elle said. OOC: Ooooh do you have a stalker? Want an online one too? Just kidding.

"That sounds like fun." He said thinking back before Hogwarts. "Well the Muggle friends I did have I seemed to just forget about me when I went to Hogwarts." Thomas said a little sad, it was fun back then when he wasn't in Hogwarts but still wouldn't change it. Thomas wasn't much of a sale shopper or even a shopper for that matter he just bought what he needed most of the time or something he just really wanted. "Well I'm always able to help people kill time." Thomas said smiling. "I am half-mime if you didn't know?" Thomas said acting like he was trapped in a box like a mime. "Jeez that’s a lame joke..." He said under his breath he couldn't help but laugh at himself.

OOC: Now where do you live again? hahaha just kidding.
IC: Elle frowned when Thomas said all his friends had forgotten about him. She knew how it felt, sometimes having her friends reflect back on and laugh abuot moments and inside jokes that she wasn't ever there for. They didn't know about owl post, and regular mail and e-mail and phone calls never reached Hogwarts, so she couldn't even stay in touch. Even so, she always looked forward to the summer when she could spend a whole two months getting reaquainted, but this year, it was only two weeks because she had wanted to try and be independent, living at Hogsmeade for well over a month by herself. She sometimes regretted that decision. And of course, there were always the questions she had to put up with like, "Why won't you answer my calls?", "Can't you check your e-mail?", and "Why won't you answer my letters?" that she had to put up and had no idea how to answer. Elle usually came up with lame answer like, "Sorry, bad reception," "No computer use unless for school homework," and "They confiscate the letters," which really made Hogswarts look negative. And even sometimes, Elle would be on the verge of bursting into tears.
"I know how you feel," Elle answered, "Sometimes my friends talk about their insiders and blonde moments that they have, and it just kinda makes me feel left out. Though, I suppose they're missing out on a lot of stuff that we do too. But it just kills me to hafta keep all this from them, ya know?"
When Thomas acted like a mime, Elle laughed appreciatively. Hearing him mutter about it being a lame joke though, she had to put a stop to.
"People everywhere are going to try and put you down," she said, "And what you're doing just gives them a headstart."
It was one of the mottos that Elle lived by, and she believed that you should always be confident about yourself.
"And besides," she continued, "It's always fun to act a little weird, you know, to take the pressure off of your shoulders of always having to act perfect, and keep up your rep in society. I mean, you should see some of stuff that I sometimes do for fun. Me and my friends are cuh-raaaazy."

Thomas just scratched his head and smiled. " I guess your right, you would make a good motivational speaker ." Thomas said smiling. "Anyway all the friends I lost cause of Hogwarts I got ten times more at Hogwarts." Thomas said which wasn't really true but he did have more friends at Hogwarts then in the Muggle world. He but his back on the wall , he could still hear his mom inside she had started to talk lower but he could still her talk about prices.
"Hey you want to get something to drink I'll buy." Thomas said knowing if his mom came out of the shop he would be more then dead but he was pretty sure it would take a few more hours. He pointed out a little store with a sign saying soda on one of the windows. "It's no Butterbeer but Coke is always good." Thomas said, it had been a long time since he had any Muggle made drinks.

OOC: Yes and I will call you with *67 in front of your number and you will never know who I was...*insert little devil smiley here* Gosh I think they should get one of those...haha
IC:
"Yeah," Elle said, smilling, "I wanted to be a motivational speaker or a counselor of some sort before I found out I could do magic and was accepted into Hogwarts. I suppose I could be a Hogwarts school counselor, maybe talk to Headmaster Dumbledore about creating a new job like that. I mean, I'm sure some people need it."
Elle looked in the store window that Thomas' mother was in, laughing at his mom's behavior, which she would categorize as "extremely Elle-like".
She spoke again, "Well I'm actually the opposite. You see, I was always the popular one back home because I did attend muggle elementary school and a year of middle school when I was little. I was on the cheerleading squad and everything. Then, I get to Hogwarts, and I hear Slytherins calling me things like "mudblood" and stuff, and I was just so not used to being talked to like that, so it kinda stung when I got back home and all my friends are talking about things I wasn't there for, ya know?"
Elle checked the time on her phone again, seeing that there was still ten minutes left.
"Sure," she said, "I love Coke. Remind me when the term starts that I owe you a butterbeer okay?"

" I can think of some Slytherins who really need some counseling." Thomas said know how mean most of them were. Thomas just smiled when she said she owned him a butterbeer. "Don't worry about owing me anything. It feels like I have been here for hours I need a reason to go somewhere." Thomas said laughing, must have really been more like thirty minutes but he couldn't stand waiting that long he was going to head over to that store anyway. "Well lets get going before we ran out of more time." Thomas said laughing walking forward a little then turning around.
"Anyway I might just want to see how crazy you and your friends can be it might be a fun." He said walking backwards.
(OOC: I never used *67 I should use it sometime on my friends ;D)

OOC: Wow you are an inexperienced prank caller! Haha what it does is if the person has caller ID, it'll replace the name with "Private Caller" and the number will be hidden.
IC:
Elle laughed, "Nooo, the Slytherins need psycologists. Not just a counselor. You know, to teach them how to focus their aggression on something healthy, like sports."
She started to walk across the street to the little cafe where they were to buy their Cokes, and expected Thomas to follow, "C'mon!"
As she walked in the small restaurant, she walked up to the line in front of the counter, waiting patiently for their turn. She crossed her arms and slouched slightly, looking at the design on the flooring.
"Well," Elle said, "You might be a little disappointed at our craziness level today. You see, we're planning on doing some serious all-day shopping, and seeing that you're rather impatient with your mom, I'd think it would be your nightmare to watch us try on bunches of clothes from store to store. It'll probably be without that usually burning boxes in the park, sliding around in our pajamas and socks at the store kind of thing."

(OOC: Well I normally don't prank call I just prank Sorry it toke so long again Monk was on. ) Thomas laughed walking up right behind her. "Well if think I’ve had enough shopping for this summer and I haven't even gotten anything today." He said smiling. " My mom has been doing enough shopping for the both of us today." Thomas made a make a small laugh, it was sad but true at lest to Thomas it was. "I would have the Slytherins making little dream catchers that would be fun Or sock puppets now that would make them mad." He said laughing just think about a class of Slytherins making sock puppets. The lady had finally come back to the counter and Thomas walked right up beside Elle. "I'll have a coke and she'll have.." He looked over at Elle just to see if that’s what she really wanted.

OOC: I prank call when I'm bored. Ding-dong ditch is quite fun too. ;D
IC:
Elle gave Thomas a skeptical look, "Well actually, the ickle-Slyths might enjoy making sock puppets of us Ravenclaws, Gryffies, and Huffles, and then beating the crap outta them. That would be much healthier than actually beating the crap outta the real people you know. A better idea might be teaching them how to peel vegetables with knives, then they could pulverize the poor veggies and it would actually be useful for making soup. But then again, it might be dangerous to equip them with knives. Imagine the damage they could do."
Stepping up to the counter, she smiled at the cashier.
"A coke is fine for me too," Elle said.
Then, turning to Thomas, "Well, seriously, I think it's the people who the Slytherins torture that need counseling. You know, that usualy how to deal with bullies kind of thing. Imagine putting posters everywhere that say, 'Hogwarts is a bully-free zone!" or 'Lend a helping hand!'"
She laughed, "But those might get ripped down by angry Slytherins. That is where the psychologists come in. Then again, it would save Hogwarts money if I doubled as a counselor and a psychologist. You never know when someone might need it."
Elle realized that the cokes were being held out at them. She grabbed one of them and pushed the other towards Thomas.

Thomas grabbed the coke with a smile at the lady at the counter. "Thanks." The lady just nodded her head and went off somewhere. Thomas then turned to Elle with the coke in his hand. "Well I just think the Slytherins would have fun with the knifes." Thomas said smiling." It would be nice to have counselor around but I think." Thomas said smiling. " Maybe Snape will be willing to take the job." Thomas would die laughing if that would happen. " I would die seeming him trying to help people with there problems." Thomas said laughing. He never did care much for Snape most of Thomas's potions messed up and about half weren't his fault, it was the Slytherin kid next to him adding stuff to it.
"So you having a good summer so far?" Thomas said taking a drink of his soda. Thomas hadn't really been having the best and that was a big under statement.

OOC: MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
IC:
Elle motioned to a table, sitting down before Thomas had agreed to. She had to save her energy for shopping, and she knew that her feet were going to ache by the end of the day.
"I need to save my 'standing-up energy' for today's shopping trip," she said, "I hope you don't mind sitting down, or else my feet are bound to ache by the end of the day."
She took the lid off the coke, as well as the straw, while listening to Thomas talk about knives. Elle didn't really like using straws. She picked up the cup, and drank out of it directly. You can get more Coke that way, she thought. Then she started talking.
"Of course the slytherins will have fun with the knives," she said, "But it's the safety issue of equipping them with knives that I'm concerned about. I mean, just picture it! All the slytherins would probably steal the knives instead of giving them back, and then use them to injure and threaten the rest of the school. I'd probably just use my wand and transfigure it into a flower or something though. I've always been good at transfiguration. Or perhaps I'd summon it and keep it. It depends on how good the knife it. Charms is also one of my strong subjects."
Elle drank more of her coke, chewing on a piece of ice while listening to Thomas speak about Professor Snape being counselor. She nearly snorted up her Coke as she laughed, imagining Snape being all fatherly, helping others with their problems. Coughing, and red in the face, but still managing to get a napkin, she wiped her chin. Some coke had gotten on it, and was about to drip onto her outfit, which would then turn into a major problem. No, that wouldn't do.
"Well," Elle said, "I bet you've never passed out in potions class before."
She began to reminisce about the time that she did.
"Yeah, you heard me right. I mean, I'm not bad at potions, but I really don't like them. I just hafta concentrate really hard to get them right. One time, I was concentrating on my potion so much, and a breeze just kinda flipped my page over, and I continued using the wrong set of directions. It turns out that the fumes ended up being hazardous, and seeing that I'm right next to my cauldron, I inhaled the most of it, and passed out. And don't even get me started on Professor Snape. He CLEARLY favors the Slytherins, that tub of lard."
Elle laughed at her own little Snape comparison. She waited for Thomas' reply.

"I don't mind at all I could use a rest too." Thomas said sitting at the table also. Then Thomas listened to hear talk about what classes she was good in and Thomas just smiled. " Well potions I'm pretty much useless at but Charms and transfiguration I can do easy, Most of the spells a learned before they tout me them. Well just the ones I thought would be fun to use in school." Thomas said laughing thinking about all the ones he learned just so he could have fun with them. Thomas even spend whole nights awake trying to get some spells and charms right. "Next time I see you in school I'll show you some of my favorite." Thomas already had a good idea of which ones already.
" and for Snape I just wish he would get fired someday that would be a nice day." Thomas said laughing. "The his replaced but some nice old lady that would kill the Slytherins grades." Thomas just laughed drinking some more coke, he really did miss coke.

"Well, judging from your expression," Elle said, "You must've been standing out there waiting for your mom for quite awhile."
Elle drank more of her Coke as Thomas talked about his subjects. Not really paying attention, she spilled quite a bit on her jeans. Cursing, she grabbed some napkins and dabbed at the wet spot.
"Oh great," she said, "Now it looks like I've pee'd in my pants or something, and I can't even use magic to fix it!"
She continued to dab at her soiled jeans, listening to Thomas speak about showing her some of his favorite spells once Hogwarts started.
"Yeah, we could have like, a spell exchange," she said, "You know, teach each other spells that our professors don't necessarily teach us, or maybe they'll teach it to us later."
Still wiping at her pants, she continued, "If Snape was fired, it would be my lucky day. Maybe we should each down a gallon of Felix Felicis and see if that helps. Of course, I wouldn't mind the Slytherin's grades being lowered quite a bit either. Then again, I don't care who the new teacher would be, as long as they had a FAIR grading system."

(OOC: I told you, you were an evil girl.)
Thomas started to laugh when she said it looked like she pee'd herself and it almost did. "Yes magic is quite useful at times like this , even though I don't know the right spell to clean pants." Thomas said Smiling, he didn't have much need to learn any cleaning spells right now maybe later in life. " The exchanging of spells would be fun, most of the spells I know I learned myself." Thomas said smiling. " I kind of had to test them on my frog but non of them were dangerous." Thomas thought back about how many spells and charms he used on his frog. " The only spell I think he hated was changing colors for a week." Thomas couldn't even find him a week after that Thomas just guessed he didn't want to see him.
Thomas looked out the window and could see the shop he was standing outside of his mom still hadn't come out yet so Thomas was still safe. "I still think it would be nice to have a nice old lady just to see the face's of the Slytherins, they would die of surprise. They go in to see Snapes evil face and see a nice lady." Thomas said laughing he would fall to die for that to happen. "But yes, I would settle for someone fair with there grades." Thomas said kind of looking at the window and then at Elle. " Because we all know Snape is one of the fairest around." Thomas said in a sarcastic tone.

IC: Elle tried to wipe her pants off the best she could, before turning to Thomas, whom she could see laughing.
"Stop laughing," Elle said, while laughing, "No just kidding. It's funny. You can laugh."
After she had finished cleaning up her little mess, she fingered her gold hoop earing, which was followed by three studs and a cartiledge stud on her ear. Listening to Thomas, she had to agree that it would make a toad quite temperamental if it was turned into a test subject for various spells.
"Well I would run away if I were that toad," Elle said laughing a little, "Or maybe I would hop away. But that's not the point."'
As she listened to him speak about Snape, a look of disgust winded up on her face.
"Because we all know how he loves us mudbloods dearly," she spat.
Then, changing her tone into something more pleasant, she said, "So does your mom know we're here? I mean, if she were my mother she wouldn't care, but I do know that some moms tend to get a little freaked out when their children disappear for some time."
She looked out the window, and then at her cell phone. Still seven minutes left, she thought. And then turned her attention back to Thomas.

Thomas kind of stopped laughing when she told him to stop but started up again. "I wouldn't say he ran away, he has had tons of chances to run away but he always returns." Thomas said thinking back. "That frog is more loyal then a dog, he was just mad at me. To think I was about to get an owl too, that would have been a mistake." Thomas said laughing, his frog was way more fun then an owl could be. Even though He couldn't send letters by frog he didn't mind. Elle then started to talk about Thomas' mom and he looked out the window and she was still inside the shop. "Well my mom was always overprotective of me, but even more now then before." Thomas said laughing. "I kind of didn't return home when summer started." Thomas looked back at Elle. " I when to Diagon Alley to say away from my sister."
"Then the Alley got attacked and they were more worried then mad so I kind of got off easier." Thomas rubbed his nose thinking about the cast that was on it. "I broke my nose and had this clown nose cast on it." Thomas said laughing.

IC:
"Aww haha," Elle said, "Well my owl is quite useful around the house, you know, delivering letters and whatnot. But I guess a toad would be quite entertaining as well."
When Thomas began to talk about Diagon Alley, nodded sympathetically, "Yeah, I heard a load of people got hurt over there. I wasn't there at the time, but I do know loads of injured people, even deaths. St. Mungo's and the Hogwarts Hospital Wing were both jam packed when I went to visit. Now it's a little better, but there's still a lot of people there in critical condition. The only reason my parents are letting me go out and about like this is because I didn't really tell them the seriousness of the Diagon Alley attacks, and them being muggles, well, they get muggle TV and they didn't even know until a week later when I told them. Sure, they were a little upset, but they just told me to be careful when I'm out."
Drinking some more of her Coke, she remembered what had happened when she had gotten home. Her sister had asked her questions nonstop, and she had to literally dodge and hide from Katie to get some peace and quiet.
"My parents were never the overprotective sort," Elle continued, "Well, they are, but not of me. I'm the oldest in the family, so I'm kinda expected to be more independent. My little sister, Katie, on the other hand, they are very overprotective of. But that's kinda understandable, her being the baby of the family and all."

"Well I'm glad you weren't there it was a nightmare, I almost lost a fried but I may be over reacting." Thomas said looking down at his coke. " I think you know her Lark, if not you saw here in the same compartment as me on the train." Thomas said taking a sip of his coke it was almost empty. " I Have to go see her sometime, the last time I saw her was at the hospital." Thomas said looking up looking for a way to change the subject. "Your lucky I'm the youngest in my family and it's not all that fun." Thomas said smiling then laughed.
"Also the fact that I'm the only one who can do magic in my family doesn't help. My middle sister Kim kind of hates me for it, But dad is dieing to see me do some magic he can't wait till I'm out of school." Thomas said laughing he total forgot he said anything about Kim. "He's like a little kid when I tell him of Hogwarts " Thomas said laughing. "I think he’ll go crazy when I can show him."
