Her father seemed to be disappointed. Probably in her. Most likely in her. OK, he was disappointed in her. It was obvious. It was, well, so noticeable that Kori was surprised he wasn't outright yelling at her that morning at the dinner table. What she had done, she didn't know, but she did something and it made her father mad. Kori pushed the eggs around on the plate with her fork as her father shoveled down his food in a huff. He was then out the door so fast he looked like a blur. Kori hated that feeling. She hated the feeling of her father being mad at her. Kori respected her father, he was one of the greatest men alive- or so her opinion she thought.
She finished her breakfast as well and decided to go for a walk in the park. It was a rather beautiful day, the sun was shining, and yet it didn't reflect her mood. Kori pulled a baseball cap over her blond locks and slipped her flip flops on her feet. When she was outside the door, she made her way down the busy streets of London. No matter the whether, Londoners still had umbrellas with them. Kori smiled at that thought. There were always depending on the rain no matter the weather. Kori strolled through rows of flowers and ducked as a Frisbee was thrown at her. Maybe not purposely but close enough. She whirled around and sent daggers at the guy who threw it, "Watch where you're throwing that bloody thing!"

The sixteen year old dropped to the ground in a frenzy and rolled sideways into the nearest bush. Sure, it didn't feel that good, but it kept from Natalie and John finding him. Natalie was a thirteen year old and John fifteen. They were Will's only friends at the orphanage and yet they were his only enemies too. Today, the orphanage had taken another trip will all orphans, this time to the park in London. Will had been wondering how long it would take the owners to think up the most boring place to go. He sighed but stifled it half-way when he saw John poking through the bushes with his water-gun. It was loaded with ice-cold water and didn't feel the greatest when squirted at. He held his breath as the boy poked round in the bushes, but then, Will, who couldn't control himself, stuck out his foot and made a gigantic swipe, causing John to fall to the ground with a loud thump. Jumping up, he tackled the younger one and grabbed the water-gun from his grasp. Will, who loved to be in control, was merciless with the water. It got John all over the face and down his shirt. He was so soaked that his pants even got wet. Will would have gone on if not for Natalie, who squirted him from behind. He turned to squirt her back but then was taken away the honors of squirting by John, who had grabbed it back. Defeated, Will ran for the sake of the dryness of his clothes. Once he was sure that he had lost the two or that they had given up, Will sat down on the nearest bench, covering a yawn with his hand. "Want to play frisbee?" a hesitant voice sounded out. He looked up to see Raven, a young five year old girl. He was surprised that she had asked; most kids at the orphanage were completely afraid of him and his 'powers.' This girl seemed to be the bravest of the bunch for a few other five year olds were watching behind the bushes. Will eyed her curiously before standing up, causing the girl to jump horribly. "Yeah, sure. Why not?" he replied slowly, taking the frisbee from the girl's grasp. "Ready?" he called even though the girl was standing right beside him. "Fetch!" and he threw the frisbee high in the air, expecting the girl to fetch it. Instead, she stared up at him, completely dumb-founded. Will sighed. "Must I teach you the definition of fetch? Okay, first, you go when I say and catch the frisbee. You then return it to me so we can go another round." He smirked down at the girl who was looking terrified again. "Don't worry. I always have to teach you people." Will said reproachfully, walking over to pick up the frisbee. "Now, let's try again..." And so they did. Raven got better and better each time. Will felt like an honorable teacher how had just taught his faithful pet. They stopped when Raven confided that she needed a break and she stomped away. Will noticed out of the corner of his eye that the other girl's were looking mightily impressed. He chuckled to himself heartily, spinning the frisbee around in his hands. He then saw a figure by the flower bed that was really far away who looked short enough to be the young girl who had slouched away from him and his game. He narrowed his eyes trying to define the shape, but whoever it was was too far away. He sighed and decided that he should throw the frisbee over there, since most people would know how to catch it even if they weren't Raven. Stretching his arm, Will sent it flying over to the flower-beds, surprising himself that he could throw that far. It was a perfect shot, but was ruined when the girl ducked. He jogged over there in time to hear the girl say, "watch where you're throwing that bloody thing!" He smiled innocently at the girl, who, as he realized now that he was close up, was about his age. "I'm terribly sorry Miss. I thought you were my five year old companion." Will said, smirking. He knew that most people wouldn't be happy to be mistaken for a five year old when they were really around sixteen. "I just threw it over here thinking that someone would be able to just reach out and catch it. Apparently, you don't know how?" Will cast a sarcastic look at the girl before walking over and picking up the frisbee. "I can teach you, you know." he said as he walked back, frisbee in hand. He eyed the girl wearily. He had seen her before... "I was just teaching that five year old, but I suppose a fifteen year old won't be that hard." ((So sorry if that was bad. I'm trying to get into my character's odd personality. ))

Kori raised her eyebrow so quickly that it hurt. She showed no sign of pain however, and tilted her head at this boy. The bill of her baseball cap hiding her raised eyebrow, "I'm sixteen! Not five, nor fifteen. And I thank you for hitting me with that frisbee, now because of you I might have brain damage!" Kori tore her hat off and ran her fingers through her hair, as if checking to make sure she was fine. When she was satisfied she looked back at the boy and waited for his response. She was growing impatient and began tapping her foot. Stupid muggles...she thought as she waited. She was going to let him speak, but too late. "I don't need some filthy muggle to teach me a simple game." She told him before she could stop herself. Kori bit her lip, wondering if he caught the word "muggle" in her sentence. Oh well if he did. She was quick on her feet and would say it was some slang from Manchester. She put a hand on her hip and placed teh cap back on her head. ((It's quite fine. Sorry mine is so short, Kori's personality is still new to me and I've had her awhile )

Will raised his eyebrows skeptically and had dropped his smirk into a smile. This girl seemed rough around the edges and was not going to be easy to talk to. Then again, being raised in an orphanage did have it's good sides. For one, it taught one how to be independent and to not take attitude from others. Will's only problem was he had folded this rule; he was the one with attitude. He hadn't meant to throw the frisbee, much less hit the girl and give her brain damage. Although he knew that she really didn't have brain damage. Will was about to speak when the girl suddenly spat a few random words at him. It was his time to raise an eyebrow in deep sarcasm. He know realized where he had seen the girl.
"I'm quite clean, thanks. And, last time a checked, I wasn't a muggle. I believe you go to Hogwarts?" he said, letting some heat go through his words. He was always one to play it cool, so usually he never got extremely angry at someone. He blinked a few times to see if the girl had registered his statements before continuing. "You say this game is simple, do you? Then why not catch the frisbee? Miss, I do believe you may be fibbing." he replied as though politely interested. "You did dodge it though, did you not? So, how would you get this brain damage you speak of? It my have messed up your hair-do, yes, but not your brain." he paused, letting his words go through before adding on. "I was close enough on the age, anyway." he shrugged before side-stepping the girl so he was closer to the flowers.
"So, Miss, what brings a great witch like yourself to a 'filthy muggle' park?"

"Yes..." Kori let the 's' drawl out a little, like a serpent, "Hogwarts. I'm a Slytherin sixth year. Kori Williams." She sent a deadly glare in his direction as he continued to speak. She wasn't in the mood for this. She sighed and let her head hang, closed her eyes and count to ten- trying to calm herself down.
"Look, normally I'd be up to par with some arguing, but I haven't had a good day at all today. I wanted to get out of my house and walk, get some air, and think. Apparently I can't go anywhere without filth, mudbloods or mutts, side-stepping me." Kori made sure to use Dixie's word. Dixie who was now seen hanging with Pansy before at the Three Broomsticks. Where had her best-friend gone? "So, if you want an argument- save your breath and find me at school. If you want a talk, then I'm open to speak as kindly as possible. But if we do speak without insults, not a word of this reaches the other Slytherins." Kori let a hint of a smile reach teh corner of her lips before she looked at the frisbee in his hand.
"And yes, I was fibbing. I have never played that game. It's a muggle game, therefore I wasn't expected to try it. Quidditch though, I am quite good at." She added.

"Oh..I see. Slytherin, eh? Well, you might remember me from school, but it's Will Senetta. You know, the orphan boy?" he replied, knowing that was what some related him to as. Not many people who went to Hogwarts went to an orphanage. It was another way that made Will different. He gave the frisbee one last twirl before letting it rest on his palm. He gave her a raised eyebrow when she talked about the mutts, filth and mudbloods. He was very tempted to ask what category orphan fell in just to see what she said but held his tongue. He already knew the answer. Filth. He let his attitude drop a little as he thought over this insult. He wasn't filth, he was worthy, the person who people respected at the orphanage! Will had soon learned, however, that the people at Hogwarts did not share the same views as the people at the orphanage. People called him filth, just like Kori was doing, or, even worse, others pitied him. Will hated to be pitied. He smiled wickedly at Kori when she said she could do a normal conversation.
"Well, that would be truly nice, Miss." Will said, using the word 'Miss' out of habit. He was forced to say that at the orphanage every single day. If Kori disliked it, he could attempt to call her by her name, but it would be very hard to do. He motioned over to a nearby bench that was nearest to them. It was half hidden by the huge flowers that was in front of it. Will seated himself on the side, letting the frisbee fall to the ground. He glanced sideways at Kori, looking slightly out of sorts. "Well, I can play Quidditch but I'm not a natural at it and, seeing as no one cares to teach me..." he let his sentence fall off. It was true; he couldn't practice over the summer at a muggle orphanage and at Hogwarts? He hadn't really cared to learn it so it was just let untouched. He was the faithful watcher to his team, screaming when necessary and booing when called for. He bit his lip before going on with his usual cocky smile. "Really? No muggle games at all? You don't know what you're missing, Miss! Although, I'm not sure if you would enjoy it as much, for it has nothing to do with broomsticks or magic. Just strength and..." he paused, the wicked smile still on his face. "...cunning. Which I'm sure you have. After all, you are a Slytherin. Frisbee's not the best of games. Football's much better." He stopped, realizing that he might have been talking too much. After all, this girl was a Slytherin and that meant she could be trouble if he dared to open up.

Miss... Kori's eyes pierced Will coldly, though she didn't say anything about it. The only one who called hermiss was Jolly, and that was her house elf. She took a seat and looked at him with a bit softer eyes. She seriously wasn't in the mood to be mean, but there was always the fact of someone hanging over your shoulder- knowing exactly what you are doing at all times. She listened to him speak and when he finished she shrugged.
"Maybe you didn't hear me right. I'm Korissa, Kori, Williams. My dad is a supporter, a big supporter, of the Dark Lord, and me doing anything associated with muggles is completely forbidden. I spend my days at home doing nothing because I can't play quidditch and that's basically the only thing I'm allowed to do." Kori smiled at the thought of being able to play muggle sports. These thougths do not leave this bench! She thought, reminding herself.
"And, Will? Call me Kori. I want to treat you like a human, and you calling me Miss reminds me of my house-elf. So you're in an orphanage? You don't know your parents at all?" She asked, hoping she wasn't pressing too hard on the subject. Note to self: forget this conversation once you reach home...

Will scraped his sneakers slowly against the concrete, making noise in the absence of Kori's speaking. He wasn't used to the quietness and it was only natural for him to make noise. He hoped that Kori didn't mind. She seemed to be angry at him for some reason, perhaps it was the 'Miss' ideal. He sighed, knowing that this would come up. The bench was rather hard so Will had to squirm slightly to get accustomed to it. He watched Kori closely as she spoke. She seemed to be part of a highly respected family. In other words, the pure-bloods. Will sighed slightly, he had known this group to be ignorant and self-sufficient. Kind of like him. But I'm not ignorant....I can be kind and caring too. He argued with himself, as he looked down at his care-worn shoes cautiously. He perked up when she mentioned the Dark Lord.
"Do you support him too?" Will asked, rather amused. He was actually a supporter of the other side. The good-guys. He remembered the recent attack on Diagon Alley and shivered slightly. He wasn't afraid. Just afraid for others. An attack could be anywhere and the muggles not knowing and all.... He brought himself out of his thoughts and glanced over at Kori. She was asking him to call her Kori instead of Miss. Will nodded, trying to fit that in his mind. Kori, Kori, Kori.... He smirked at his thoughts. Couldn't he remember the name? He ran his fingers through his hair distractedly, thinking about Kori's question.
"Yes. I live in an orphanage since age three. These are my worshipers," he nodded toward the other orphans at play with a wink Kori's way. "Actually, they're rather afraid of me. They say I have special powers. Like, once, I set a little girl's hair on fire at age six. Anyway, yeah. It's my home. Besides Hogwarts that is. My parents died in some mysterious fire.." Will paused, taken over by a sudden though. If Kori was well associated with magical family perhaps..."Did you ever hear of the Senetta's? I mean, they lived way out in the country and talked to no one, at least that's what I heard...." Will seriously doubted if Kori had heard of them but it was worth a try. He had asked some other purebloods and they had replied with a non-plussed look. "No, I can't remember my family. But once I become of age, I'm going to go find any other living Senettas." He said proudly. It had always been his dream to find his relatives.

The scraping of the sneakers was starting to annoy her, but she didn't say anything- and she was certain to hide her emotions from her face. The silence was broken, when he asked her a rather personal question. If she was up to it, Kori would have snapped at him- stating that was none of his god damned business and that she would thank him to not ask her that question or anything else referred to the Dark Lord ever again. But she wasn't and she didn't. Kori shrugged; "Not really. Not now anyway. Maybe when I leave Hogwarts...? I don't know...it's all so frightening."
She listened to his story, smiling at the worshippers part. She liked that, and made a mental note about it. Kori shook her head slowly as he asked her if she ever heard of the Senetta's. She hadn't, sadly, and she made yet another mental note to look them up, "Sorry, no. I haven't. But perhaps my father has. Arvid Williams, I swear, that guy has more connections than I do enemies." Kori fixed her cap and looked at Will with a small smile.
"When do you become of age?" She asked curiously, though she was dying to say that she would give anything not to know her family. Kori tilted her head inquesitvely and waited his response.

Will closed his eyes and made his sneakers stop moving. Maybe being quiet would be better. At least, in this situation. But, since Will had a knack for speaking so much it bored people to death....He smiled his lop-sided smile. He glanced over at Kori as she talked about who she would help through this war. Will raised a skeptical eyebrow before leaning back on the bench. "Honestly, you scared? I've never heard of such a thing." he replied, shaking his head and fighting to keep his face straight. He wouldn't be surprised if Kori thought him some idiot by this point, but if she did, that was her own problem. Will liked the way he was and didn't feel like changing at the moment. Anyway, Kori seemed to be on the friendly side at the moment, and he would prefer it stayed that way.
"Thanks, Mi - Kori," he said, fighting to keep Miss out of his sentence. "That would be wonderful if you talked to your father about it. The only problem is they might be muggles and if they are, I doubt you're father would know of them." Will frowned; he had always dreamed that his parents would be powerful and strong but why then would they have perished in the fire? Will stood up so suddenly he wouldn't have been surprised if he scared Kori. He even surprised himself, somewhat. Why was he upset about his parents? He sighed and pushed them to the back of his mind. He grinned foolishly at Kori when she said that her father had more connections then she has enemies. "And how much would that be?" he asked as he bent down to retrieve the frisbee. Whisking it away toward the children, Will paused when Kori asked him an odd question. When did he become of age?
"In our world, it seventeen, I think. In other words, once we get out of school. Then, in the muggle world, it's eighteen." He ringed his hands thoughtfully, looking up at the sky. "I think those numbers are right. So, really, I have to wait until eighteen since the orphanage won't let me go until then." He looked down at the grass and then around at the Park. There was literally nothing much to do. Kori couldn't play any games and they most definitely couldn't fly around on brooms. The bench was uncomfortable and all they could do here was talk. Will was an action kind of guy; no listening or being idle. Always in movement. He put the smile back on his features quickly and walked a few steps away from the bench. Turning back, he raised an eyebrow at Kori. "Walk?" he asked lazily, tucking his hands inside his pockets and watching Kori for any signs of boredom. "I'm rather hungry. There's a few good stores around here, if you're hungry too. Or we can just have some sort of snack. I can pay." Will shrugged and turned to face her totally, waiting for a reply.

Kori closed her eyes at Will's reply to her father. Her father and her, never really had gotten along. Ever since her mother had died, Arvid had been distant and cold toward his daughter. Kori didn't know why. She was trying her best to be the perfect daughter, but she never could be. It made her angry...slightly, but she didn't say anything about it. Her jaw was clenched as she continued to think. Her mother and father had a romance type of life, and when Arisha died- Arvid became distant and cold toward everyone, but mostly toward Kori. Being stuck with her grandmother, Kori tried ten times harder to deem herself worthy, but it never really worked out. Being friend with Cole Waters, and having a conversation with Dawn McGrogan, it all wasn't enough for the woman.
"And how much would that be?" She heard. Kori's left eye opened and she smiled lazily at Will, "A few in each house. Not to mention those in other schools. Watch out, I'm a bad bad person to be around." She smirked and opened both eyes. Thinking about how many people she really did know and how many actually did hate her. There were a lot more she wasn't quite sure about. They could be talking about her behind her back. Or maybe that was Kori being paranoid, either way, it could be true. Kori listened to him tell her when he became of age and she nodded as if she knew already. When he asked to walk she stood as well, fixing her hat and smiling with a small shrug.
"You know...I've been through this park millions of times, billions even. And not once have I realised that it's so large." She laughed at herself lightly before kicking a pebble infront of her. It skipped a few times, then stopped. She would kick it again when she caught up to it., "You don't have to pay, though. I do have my own money. I live in the Muggle world, so I do have Muggle money...I just don't ever get the chance to use it." Kori smiled a small, timid, smile and continued to walk. Waiting for him to lead her in all sorts of directions.

Will smirked at Kori out of pure amusement. A few in each house and yet she was being nice to a poor orphan Raven? He shook his head and smiled at Kori as she decided that she would go for a walk. She said that she had muggle money too, which surprised Will. He didn't bother to hide it. "Really? You live in a muggle community? I thought that you purebloods lived in wizarding communities and didn't converse with muggles, let alone use their money." Will said with a raised eyebrow. This girl was full of surprises. He nodded and walked forward to lead Kori through London. This was going to be harder than he thought, however, for the owners wouldn't be happy if he left without their consent. Will narrowed his eyes as he debated with what options he had, which weren't many. His decision was rather rash but he decided to risk it anyway. After all, he hadn't had much fun since school let out.
"I'll be right back, kay?" Will moved away from Kori without waiting for an answer and strutted over to the nearest owner, Mrs. James. Will put on the most innocent smile he could muster and flashed his white teeth in her direction. The elderly lady blinked a bit at him before Will spoke up. "Ma'am, I would like to go for a walk. May I be granted the permission?" Will raised his eyes up to Mrs. James, pleading that she would give him a chance. Of course, Will never got chances at the orphanage. "It'll just be in the Park. I won't go out. I promise, ma'am." he shivered, knowing that he wouldn't keep to that promise well. It was a part of life though; to lie and to live. He pouted, sticking out his lower lip and waiting for Mrs. James to reply. When she did, it was in a cracking voice that sounded old and ancient.
"I don't know, William. Perhaps it would be better if you stayed....Young men your age tend to find trouble in the oddest places." Mrs. James said slowly and deliberately. Will wondered if anyone could think as slow as she was now. "I suppose it is fine. But if you break this promise..." she raised a threatening finger his way but Will appeared to be undaunted.
"I'll be in trouble and whipped with that rubber thing you have." Will recited out of spite. Mrs. James nodded and turned away from Will as though the mere sight of him made her feel a great dread. Will smiled and strutted back over to Kori, just the way he had came. He smiled and stretched his arms above him luxuriously. "That was good wasn't it? I'm a suck up to all the old ladies around here." Will smirked mischievously before rolling his eyes. "It works every time. Alas, I will not see the day when my technique will fail, I hope." he smiled and walked ahead of Kori. "I know I nice coffee shop that sells okay food. It's the only place I've ever eaten at." Will confessed as he stopped to wait for Kori to catch up. "Does that sound okay to you? It's just down the street...."

"Hmm?" Kori looked up as Will seemed surprised about something, when she found out what- she smiled slowly, "Oh...um, yeah. We own this huge house in the muggle community. I know, odd because we're pureblooded. But it's been there forever, and it's been passed down each generation to the eldest. I get it when my father passes away. It really is a gorgeous house." Kori was sort of saying this while in a trance, "Besides," she added, "I like shopping in Muggle stores. They have nice clothes."
Will then ran off and played sweet to some lady. Kori let a mischevious smile cross her lips, but she caught it before it went too wide. He came back and she rolled her eyes, "Didn't anyone ever tell you that lying is bad?" She asked with a tease in her voice. Of course, she didn't have much room to talk. Kori had her fair share of lies told to her elders. Her father had taken a hit on many occasions. Her grandmother only a few times, and even those times Kori was caught in the lie. They were mostly played on her "caretakers" Rosalee and Johnsen. Weird, old people, yet they were the most family she could ever have.
He had walked ahead of her and stopped so she could catch up, she looked at him and shrugged again; "You're the leader...take me to the places you think best fit." She smiled before looking down. Why was it that she couldn't be mean when she was alone? But when she was with a a group of Slytherins she could be the nastiest person alive? It was some sort of curse that had been bestowed upon her, and Kori hated it. She wasn't complaining today, however, she was actually enjoying herself.

Will raised his eyes to the sky in complete fake shock. "A pureblood liking muggle clothing! It's an outrage!" he cried before letting laughs come from his lips. It was very strange for a pureblood, however, mostly one in Slytherin. Will frowned before letting that thought float away. Maybe Kori was different from all the other Slyths, not that Will minded them. He just figured them hot-headed. He smiled and kicked at a rock nearby as he waited for Kori to catch up. She did so with a small comment that made him chuckle. "Lying, bad? That's how I live! Little lies here and there. It all works out anyway, so why not do it? It's for the best!" Will shrugged and kicked at another rock once more. He loved to lie and had become quite good at it over the years at the orphanage. He would not live the life of a goody-two-shoes orphan. He smirked and nodded.
"Best fit you or me?" he asked with a teasing smile. He was rather enjoying himself and that was all the better. Grabbing Kori's arm, he lead her across the street and into the shop called: 'Ramona's Tea.' It wasn't the prettiest looking thing but it had nifty cleaning devices that kept it clean enough to eat in. Although there were a few crumbs here and there on the tables that went without cleaning, they had excellent food and great service. Will smiled at the owner, Ramona, before stepping up to the bar and letting go of Kori's arm. "I'll have coffee and a chicken sandwich, please." he paused, held up his hand to wait and turned to Kori. "What do you want?" he pulled out his money and laid it on the counter, waiting to see how much Kori felt like having.

Kori glared at Will slightly, but didn't extend it to how much of a glare she should have. He then had grabbed her arm and pulled her somewhere. She ran to keep up with him and was thankful she was good at her dancing so she was in great shape. When they reached their destination, a place called "Ramona's Tea."
Kori wasn't exactly hungry, "Um just a bottled water for me thanks." She said as sweetly as possible. She looked at the top of the bar with avoiding glances. She thought she recognised someone from school- that couldn't be possible though, they were in muggle community. Kori sighed and looked up at Will, "I have dance in an hour- if I eat, it'll come back up then."
Kori had taken dance for years. Her mother had been a dancer, so she had started to dance as well. She loved to dance- but she didn't want to dance Ballet and Pointe, she would much rather dance something she could dance to at clubs...not recitals. Kori bit her lip as her water came, and she opened it- taking a drink from it.

Will nodded at the waiter who walked away quickly to place their orders. He was surprised that Kori wanted nothing more than water but didn't mention it. Once again, however, his surprise shined through. Will never hid from his emotions and would always show them to others. It was just how he was. He smirked and as Kori explained why she couldn't eat. "Yes. We wouldn't want that." he smiled as the drinks and food came to the table. Once again, excellent service. Will picked up his sandwich and surveyed it carefully, checking to make sure that nothing was on it that shouldn't be. Satisfied, he took a bite and ate it quickly. He was rather hungry and hoped Kori didn't mind watching him stuff it down. He was half-way through when he placed it on his plate and took a drink coffee which was fiery hot. Smacking his lips together, Will raised a quizzical eyebrow Kori's way.
"What dance do you do? Like, tap-dance or ballet?" he scratched his head thoughtfully, trying to remember all the other dances. He didn't really know any and decided it wouldn't do to admit this to Kori. Instead, he leaned back in his chair although the sandwich was looking rather tasty again. "I only really have one talent. It may sound weird but I can talk to horses. I mean, I think I can. It's like they understand me better than the people around me. I feel at home with them." he paused before reaching out and grabbing his chicken. Taking a big bite, Will swallowed it fast before returning to the conversation at hand. "Maybe you could come by sometime? That is if you like animals. I wouldn't want you to get dirty..." he smirked at her, wondering if she was one of those girls who freaked at any sign of dirt. She didn't seem to be the type but Will never judged by what he thought. It didn't matter what he thought if the person disagreed with him. Besides, he didn't even know where Kori resided in London. He took a drink of coffee, watching her closely for a reaction.

Kori looked down at her nails and picked at the fingernail polish. Her eyes stung with hot tears, but she didn't look up at Will- in case he could see her crying. She bit her lip, "I um dance ballet. My mother used to...she was a great dancer, once upon a time..." Kori stopped and wondered if she should continue, it wouldn't be like he would laugh at her for her memories, "...before she passed away. I dance and it's like I have a part of her with me, you know?" She looked up now- her eyes clear and hid any signs of tears. Kori smiled meekly as Will told her his talent. When he said he could talk to horses, she looked up- rather interested.
"Really?" She asked, her hazel eyes glassy, "Are you sure it's not just a..." Kori looked around and bit her lip, before leaning in further and saying; "wizarding thing? I mean, that could explain it couldn't it? If it isn't that's amazing. I wish I could talk to horses, let alone animals. That's a great thing to have." Kori smiled and leaned back in her seat. She was really intriqued in what he had to say, ""Maybe you could come by sometime? That is if you like animals. I wouldn't want you to get dirty..." He asked. Kori rolled her eyes with a smile at that.
She didn't care for dirt, but she wouldn't shriek at the sight of it on her clothes. Animals she loved though, and liked the idea of visiting horses with him- "Alright, yeah. Sounds fun. I'll just have to speak with my dad about it, of course. But I'm sure he'll be fine with it...he's always telling me how I need to get out of the house more." Kori rolled her eyes again and finished off her water, before looking at her watch; "But for now..I have dance..." She stood up and picked up the hat.
"Wanna come?" She asked with a raise of her eyebrow.

Will gazed at Kori, concern lighting his face. Was she okay? Had he said something wrong? Will frowned and watching her reactions carefully. Soon enough, he realized what had happened to cause her to become rather quiet and upset. Her mother, it seemed, had passed away. Will nodded in understanding. He, of all people, could understand that. "It's alright. I'm sorry she's gone. She must have been a wonderful lady, I'm sure. Sometimes, it's hard being an orphan. But - other times - it's so much better. I mean, if I had known my parents then I would have missed them even more then I do now. I would dwell on their smile and their faces when something good happened. They died when I was three, so I can't remember." he added in case Kori hadn't gotten his drift. He sighed and leaned back in his chair just as Kori was doing. "It's wonderful that you picked up something your mother was doing. I'm sure she would be very proud of you." Will said, laying on the compliments. He smiled reassuringly at her, his eyes looking off in the distance. Jerking himself out of it, he grinned his cocky grin when she talked about his talent.
"Well, it's not really talking it's just like I can understand their motives. I don't speak their language." he said quickly, having a feeling that Kori was going in the wrong directions. He smiled before placing his hands on the table to rest. "Yes, it is wonderful. But it's sometimes tough," he stopped, trying to think about how to explain it so she would understand. "People think I'm odd, you know? I spend so much time with animals and without people I sometimes feel like a Tarzan or something." he smirked before shaking his head. "I don't think it's...magical. I could do it ever since I was young. It's like a trait I had since I was born. Very strange." he swallowed hard, wondering if Kori would take him as weird like most others. If she did, then she wasn't worth his time. No one who would laugh in their friends face of even in their acquaintances were worth anyones' time. He nodded his head to agree with himself before looking up hopefully as she said that she would have to ask her dad about it.
"Life would be so much bearable if I knew that I would have real company. Plus, I would get to brag about it to all my followers. Oh, you probably want the orphanage number, right? Well, if you do, then hear it is." Will grabbed the nearest napkin and wrote down the number of the orphanage on it. Moving it toward Kori he smirked, satisfied, before standing up as Kori asked him if he wanted to go watch her dance. "Of course. That is if you don't mind a critical eye judging your dance." he chuckled lightly before racing over to open the door for Kori. "Lead the way," he said, looking pointedly out to the street.

"I'm sure your eye won't be as critical as Madame Christine's is." Kori stated with a smirk. She took the number and folded it before putting it in her back pocket. Then she led the away out of the shop. She turned to Will and said;
"Tarzan you said?" She wanted to get back onto the subject they were talking about before, "So you speak gorilla too?" Kori teased and tucked her hair behind her ear before taking a right onto a new corner. This corner had many people walking by, and a group of dancers emerged from a tall building.
"Kori!" A little voice squeeled. A little red-head ran up to her. Kori knelt down and picked up Violet, "What's happening little ballerina...?" She asked as she twirled the little girl around. Violet giggled and kicked out of Kori's arms. Kori laughed lightly and stood back up, "Will this is Violet, miss Prima Ballerina. She's my dance teacher's daughter. Violet Helena. Violet this is my friend Will." Violet curtsied then ran off with her friends.
"She's my worshipper." Kori teased with a giggle. She pushed open the door and led Will inside to the dance room. Kori pointed to a chair where he could sit then walked into the locker room, "Hey Madame! I have a visitor with me..." She said as she changed into her dance outfit. She laced up her soft shoes and entered the dance studio once more.
"If you want....there's a room over there with a television in it...this might get boring." Kori sat down next to him and smiled as she pulled her hair up.

Will smiled but said nothing. He enjoyed criticizing others. Madame Christine might have some competition today. He thought back on how he had taught Shannon how to play today. Much criticism makes people better. It may make them upset at first but it all worked out in the end. He knew it must be so with Kori and the instructor there at the dance place. He didn't even know what this place was called yet. He smirked before tucking his hands in his pockets with content. He laughed when she asked if he could speak gorilla too.
"Perhaps," he said with a wink. "Once I get the roaring sound down, that is." he laughed again but stopped as a girl approached them. Will smiled down at her. She looked so young and innocent. Will certainly wasn't the same at this age. He had gotten the privilege of being the trouble-maker at the orphanage, a title he still held with pride. Another thing that kids respected about him.
"How do you do?" Will asked with a thick English accent before grinning from ear to ear. He would have tipped his hat to her but since he didn't have one he just nodded instead. When she left he laughed at Kori's comment. "I guess that's what we both have in common. Of course, I'm sure I have more worshipers then you." he teased lightly before chuckling. As they entered the Dance place Will sat down obligingly at the chair Kori pointed to. He didn't want to get on the bad side of this Madame Christine. She had made her out to sound rather strict. He was used to strict orders but with company he didn't wish to embarrass himself. He waited for Kori to reappear from the door she had closed and when she did, she was wearing a whole new out-fit. He grinned at her before settling more comfortably in his chair.
"Nah. I don't need to watch T.V. Unless, of course, your performance is so poor it burns my eyes," he said with teasing glint in his eyes. He then sat back, wondering what Kori was about to do in dance. She hadn't really described what she did so it was going to be something of a new thing to him when he watched. Still grinning, he looked straight ahead to wait and see what it was they were going to do.
