Kori smirked; "You forget, Mr. Sanetta, my mother was a prima ballerina. One of the best. I learned from her. What makes you think my performance will be poor?" She smiled and stood up. She warmed up to the music that was starting to pump through the speakers, and then switched her shoes. She put on her pointe shoes and winced at the slight pain. Madame Christine emerged from the room Kori had, moment's before. She had bright hair that wasn't exactly red, but not exactly blond, and she wore jeans and a dance t-shirt with her toe shoes. Kori smirked at her teacher's outfit. Kori was more precise about what she wore than Madame was. But then again- Kori was raised by Julia Williams.
Kori made her way to the front of the classroom. She grabbed the bar and stretched. Madame walked over to her and smiled; "Ready?" Kori nodded. Madame clapped her hands, and little kids emerged from the same room. Kori walked over to them, stood on her pointe- and they copied her.
"OK...you know the drill...Kori says, pirouettes!" Kori did three quick 360 degree turns and watched out of the corner of her eye as the little girls tried. Madame went around and pointed out mistakes, and helped with some. Kori loved her class. She stopped twirling, as did the rest of the ballerina's. Kori put a finger to her chin, "Kori says...degage!" She brushed her working leg against her foot against the floor to a slightly raised, pointed position and then closed. It was a basic step. The little girls copied. Kori smiled before thinking up the next move.
"Kori says...demi plies!" She didn't have to do that move, the girls knew that one like nothing else. Kori watched with satisfaction as they finished. She let her eyes wander to Will, and she raised her eyebrow...Kori smirked; "OK...break, then back. Run along, practice bar." She shooed them toward the back room and walked back to Will...
"Did I forget to mention I teach, and not take part?"
