Sapphire made her way down to the Quiditch pitch just before the match was about to start and found a seat in the stands, which were already packed. Quidditch wasn't really her thing but it was Ravenclaw playing so she might as well come and support them, she thought.
Sapphire hoped that someone would come and keep her company, but just in case they didn't (or perhaps in case they did), she had brought two books along with her; one fiction and one a book she had taken out of the library on ancient Mythology, which she thought would prove usuful to have read. Also with her was a flask of hot chocolate (although the sun was shining it was quite cold to be sitting around) and a selection of biscuits and chocolates.
Looking around the pitch, Sapphire spotted both teams easily in their bright robes. The Hufflepuff team looked a lot younger than the Ravenclaw team.
'Was there any point in my coming to watch?' she asked herself with a hint of annoyance. The outcome of the match seemed a clear thing.

Parvati trudged up the stairs to the Quidditch stands. The first match of the season was Hufflepuff VS. Ravenclaw. She was anticipating the arrival of the team. She couldn't wait to see her friends flying around in the sky. Parvati watched as the Hufflepuff team exitted the lockers, they were a great deal younger and smaller then the Ravenclaw team. But Jordan was quite good with the bludger, she had watched Jordan practice once before, and she had seen the chasers practice as well. They were quite good. In fact, anyone who thought they couldn't win, certainly underestimated the smaller players.
Parvati smiled as she saw them fly into the air. A few looked intimidated but the other's seemed fairly all right. Parvati stood and cheered as they flew. The cold napping at her nose and her scarf was blowing in the wind. It was quite chilly, but soon she would forget that and keep her eye content on the game.

Brett tied his scarf tighter around his neck, trying to block the chilling cold from his face as he climbed the stairs to the Hufflepuff stands. He couldn't wait for the game to start. Brett loved Quidditch, though he didn't have the skills to play it, it was a fun game to watch. He often got competitive when he watched Quidditch, and there was no telling what would happen when he was cheering his housemates on.
Brett sat down and looked over the railing of the quidditch stands. They were high up, but not as high as the professors. He gulped and sat back, hoping his fear of heights didn't show. Laughing at himself sourly, Brett clapped as the teams flew up into the air. It was starting, he couldn't wait.

He would never miss a Quidditch game. While he didn't realy play, well, he liked to be a beater if he did play, but that was antoher thing compleatly, he didn't play so now he was making his way onto the stands. Any excuse to yell all he wanted and not get in trouble was a good idea for him. Besides, now he knew someone on the team to chear for! Making his wat up onto the stand she looked out at the field and before the game even started he yelled
"Go JORDAN!!! Beat that bludger!"

They flew out onto the pitch and began. Kiyla looked nervous but, she seemed calm at the same time. Brett stood up.
"GO KIYLA!" He screamed, cupping his hands around his mouth to make his voice louder. He clapped again and watched on.

Parvati winced as Hufflepuff fell behind 20 points. Ravenclaw was in the lead. She just hoped that Hufflepuff would catch the snitch. It would make it much easier. She watched as the Hufflepuff beaters tried their best to aim at the chasers but they kept missing. It was bad. Parvati cringed as she saw the Quaffle being passed again.
"NO!" She screamed. Parvati quickly covered her mouth, surprised at herself for even screaming like that.

He climbed his way up onto the stands behind his twim and took the seat.
"Show them what a badger can do!"
He yelled just before sitting down, though he had to plaster on an optomist smile after Ravenclaw scored its second goal. They had a twenty point lead now....it would take some effort for Hufflepuff to come back...
He then pulled out his want and used an enlarging charm as well as his usual ribbion letters to write the Hufflepuff in the air above him

Julie felt the wind against her face as she made her way to the Ravenclaw stands to watch the first match of the year. It was going to be an exciting match to watch for though there were rumours that the Ravenclaw team was definitely more experienced and had much more practice than the Hufflepuff team Julie knew better than to think they had an advantage because the members of their team were older. She had full confidence in the players of their team but hoped they wouldn't be over-confident just because of that. The Hufflepuffs looked very enthusiastic, and after all the Seekers were both of the same age, and had played in many matches before. Julie wished fervently that Cho would get the Snitch. She had let them down too many times last year, but at least this year she seemed much more cheerful.
Julie sat in the middle row knowing this place to be the best to watch the action. She tightened her blue scarf around her head to keep her long hair from flying into her face and watched as the teams walked on to the pitch, cheering her friends enthusiastically as they walked on to the pitch. Almost all the team were her friends, and though Julie couldn't play Quidditch herself she enjoyed watching the games a great deal, and usually managed to cheer herself hoarse before the end of a game.
Ravenclaw got hold of the Quaffle first and Julie felt he first thrill of excitement as the Chasers managed to pass it skillfully from one to the other despite the Hufflepuffs efforts to stop them. "YES!" she yelled joining in the cheers as Alexa scored the first goal of the match. Julie knew ten points didn't mean anything but scoring the first goal of the game had its own special joy and was always a good start. Then Catalina scored almost immediately after Alexa, and once again there was a loud cheering from the Ravenclaws. They were definitely playing well today!

Sapphire did not engage in much of the cheering that was going on around the Quidditch pitch, but did cheer every time a goal was scored. She wasn't into Quidditch at all, but she was pleased when her house did well.
Hufflepuff hardly seemed to be putting up any resistance at all. How boring. Sapphire reached for her book and started to read from the beginning. She was able to gage that this book wasn't going to be marvellously exciting by the time she'd read half of the first paragraph, but she continued. It was bearable.
Every now and then, Sapphire paused, as the crowd's noise alerted her that the game had become intersting for a second or two, and then went back to her book.

Parvati looked up as Ravenclaw scored once more. The Hufflepuff players seemed to be getting a little disoriented and dazed at their loss. Then Kim saved a goal and they seemed to regain their energy. Parvati normally wasn't interested in Quidditch as much as this, but this game held her attention instead of making her draw the speeding players that flew by the stands.

Phoebe walked slowly to the Quidditch pitch. She looked around to see anyone she knew. Sapphire. She walked over to her and sat down next to her.
"Hi!" She said with a smile over the noise. Ravenclaw had just scored a point. Things looked pretty gim for the Hufflepuffs.

Sapphire smiled as Phoebe joined her and put her book down.
"Hi!" she said, "Good to see you. Ravenclaw are winning, of course, being my house."
Sapphire grinned at Phoebe. She was pleased, first of all to have some company (a rarity), and secondly that Ravenclaw were winning. It did make the match more enjoyable when the team you were supporting was winning. Although maybe a bit of resistance would be more entertaining, Sapphire thought with a smirk. At the moment Ravenclaw were steamrolling Hufflepuff.
Sapphire looked at the gameplay. At the moment Hufflepuff were in possesion, which was a surprise. One of them tried to score, and there was a flutter of excitement from the other side of the stands, but of course the much older and more experienced Ravenclaw Keeper saved the goal. Sapphire looked back to Phoebe, smiling.

Phoebe smirked as she looked out into the game. A Hufflepuff was trying to score and of course someone intercepted it.
"Figures. Too young, maybe they should have had more practice..." Phoebe said with a smile at Sapphire. She could tell she was in a good mood.
"Maybe the Ravenclaws should go easier on the poor Hufflepuffs, I mean after all... their players are mostly fourth years and younger." Phoebe said rasing her eyebrows in amusement.

Sapphire looked skeptically at Phoebe. "You think?" she asked. "We don't want to let them back into the game, and playing for points too here. Still, some of those Bludger hits by the older beater have been a bit evil. It's like he's trying to knock all the players out of action."
Sapphire grinned. "Not that I'm saying that isn't a good idea."

Phoebe grinned at Sapphire.
'Ahh... so she does have a little but of evil in her as well.' Phoebe thought to herself.
"By the way things are going... I don't think that there is a chance that Hufflepuff is going to win." Phoebe said after she saw the same Hufflepuff try and make a shot again only to have the keeper make a save.

Sapphire watched the game for a while before replying. "No," she said. "At least the Hufflepuffs are trying now." Sapphire grinned. "Mind you, if the Hufflepuff Seeker catches the Snitch, Hufflepuff'll win. Which isn't really fair, seeing as Ravenclaw is better." Sapphire watched as both Seekers started racing towards the Ravenclaw goalposts. She poured some hot chocolate and handed it to Phoebe, and poured some for herself. "Forgot about that," she said, "a bit stupid, seeing as the game might be about to end." Sapphire watched the progress of the Seekers from the other side of the pitch. "Who are you supporting?" she asked Phoebe.

Jordan sighed as she took the last step up to the Stands. They hadn't won, and it partly could have been her fault. She wasn't very good. But for a third year you are, she thought. She shook her head as she neared Dillion.
"Hey." She said trying to smile but failing. She then turned to face the pitch, saw the Ravenclaw team still cheering and sighed before turning back to Dillion.
"It was a good game, but.. nevermind...let's just go." She said this time succeeding in her attempted smile.

Phoebe shurgged her shoulders slightly as she took the hot chocolate.
"Thanks." She said as she took a sip.
"I'm for... Ravenclaw..." She said as she watched the game. She sighed as Cho caught the snitch.
"Wow, poor Hufflepuffs.... lost that badly..." She said as she watched the disappointed Hufflepuffs walk out of the field. She felt bad for the new players. They hadn't even been able to score a single point at all.

Sapphire looked away from the Quidditch pitch, where, surprisingly, her eyes had been fixed for quite a number of minutes, to look at Phoebe.
"Well, glad to know you support the winning team," she said, grinning. "I suppose it is a bit hard on the Hufflepuffs, but still, I like it cos it's good for Ravenclaw."
Sapphire gathered up her things, taking the empty hot chocolate cup from Phoebe.
"We should go," she said, "otherwise we'll get crushed." Sapphire stood up and waited for Phoebe.
