Who cares were diffrent (( Jack ))

Brooke was having a good day. She was not depressed. She was clean and she found an empty room to do what she pleased.

Walking in she straightned her new top. Taking a seat she toke out her new book. It was somethiong her aunt sent her as a gift.

She was about two pages into her novel when she heard a noise.

Raising her blonde head she saw it was Jack. Her face fell. She pretended she din't see him. Her eyes on the page but , they din't move.

Jack walked into an empty room and sat down. He was just going to relax and enjoy.....the nothingness. That was how desperate he was for some peace and quiet. When he walked into the room, he found that it was not empty. The last person he wanted to talk to was sitting right there, reading some book. Jack decided to act like nothing happened. He walked over to her slowly.

"Reading the same book again?" He asked without much interest.

She Brooke rolled her eyes she was caught.

He was playing it cool. Fine two can play the same game she tought.

Looking up at him. " I'm sorry mister Rendel have we met?" Brooke replied coolely.

Jack grimaced. Was she just playing stupid? Oh gosh.... He forced a smile and then said: "I do believe we have, since you know my name."

" Who hasn't Mister Rendel. I mean you are known." She replied. She looked down. " God stop examing me." She exclaimed.

Jack looked surprised. He truely was. "I'm known now, am I?" Jack asked with some amusement. "Or is that something you made up?" He looked down at the ground and then pulled a chair over and sat down some way away from Brooke, but close enough to see her facial expression.

" No! I Would like you to stop asking questions. If you don't think anyone is worthy to be treated like an equal. Than get away." Brooke said she got up and walked to the other end of the room.

Jack smiled as Brooke walked to the other room. Aren't Ravenclaws supposed to be intelligent? Then why not ask you questions? I thought you would know the answers to them!" He watched as Brooke moved to the other side of the room. "What's the matter? Scared?"

" Scared? Do I look scared? This is the face of an angrey woman." She said hotley.

Jack smirked at Brooke's useless explaination of her behaviour. "Oh! You're a woman?" Jack asked in mild surprise. "I always thought you were some little girl." He eyes gleamed maliciaously. "If we aren't going to have a grown up talk then I'm out of here."

" Hahaha." Brooke said sracastcily. " And who said anything about talking?" She asked. She was upset.


" Plus the last time I checked. You were listening what your nanny Mack said." She indidcated.


Her emarlad green eyes showed hatred and unsureness. Her face was white. It looked perfect with her blonde hair.

Now, Brooke was really getting on his nerves.

"Mack is not my nanny!" Jack snarled. "Unlike you, I don't need one. Also, Mack is a true friend!" His eyes flashing with anger. "You have no idea what you got into when you befriended me! I'm a living Hell and if you don't watch it, I'll let it out on you!" Jack said, his temper rising.

" So, You think your hell?'' Brooke asked. Her anger was showing know.


She turned to him. She was inches from his chair. " You think you hell?'' She repeated. " Then you don't know me." Brooke said. Her eyes were sending die signals.

Jack rolled his eyes sarcastically. "You sure do act like a living Hell. After all, you sure did hurt Mack a lot with your... what were they? Insults?" Jack smirked. If Brooke didn't stop, he was going to hurt her just like he had hurt Bee. He didn't feel any pity for the person standing in front of him.

"It's a good thing I don't know a lot about you. I probably wouldn't be here then." Jack said, his blue eyes shining brightly. This wasn't the Brooke he knew. It was some other person, who was acting like a big- shot. He didn't like that Brooke. Not one bit.

" Oh my gosh." She said in disgust. She was not acting like her self. But why?


She looked at Jack. Yes he was the reason. I am so stupid she said. Out loud by accident.

Jack smiled triumphantly. Either Brooke was stupid, or he had gotten to her.

"I'm glad you finally let yourself accept the truth." Jack said, with a gleam in his eyes. This was getting a bit boring. Brooke was trying to defend herself, but to Jack it just made him more dangerous. After all, they were weak and next to him, Brooke was weak. He didn't want to hurt her, not yet. Not yet.

Thinking to her self she smiled. With a wave of her wand she was by the window. " You see. You’re crude and ignorant. Some one who won't understand how any one would feel expect for him self. I for once am not hiding from the truth. Its official your stupid." She said with a dangerous smile.



This is what her friend Rumi called play at risks. Put up what you might have and leave them hanging.

Jack smirked. "Now you're getting the idea!" He said cheerfully. He didn't add that he cared about a lot of people. Bee and Mack were just a couple of them. He cared about Brooke, as a friend. Just as a friend. He looked at Brooke with an bemused smile.

"If I'm crude and ignorant, what does that make you?"

" I don't know. Lets think." Brooke said in a playful tone. " That makes me sweet and playful. She said in the same tone.


Swishing her hair over her shoulders she smiled. So she was relaxing. Keep up your gaurd. She reminded her self.

"You wish!" Jack scoffed. "Sweet and playful? In your craziest dreams." He walked over to the window in the empty classroom. The sun was shining brightly. He sighed, trying to clear his mind, and then turned around to face Brooke.

"I'm not here to play with you, Brooke." He said in a dangerously low voice.
