When Jack said he wasn't there to play games. Brooke grimaced then spoke. " Neither am I. Do you think a this girl is afraid?'' She asked as if daring him to challenge her.

Jack smiled at Brooke. "You will be. You will be." He replied to her comment about being afraid. He looked around and scuffed his feet against the floor. Does this girl look afraid? Yes, you look terrified. Jack replied to himself. He didn't say it out loud, but just saying it in his mind made him feel better. Brooke was looking at him as if to prove that she wasn't afraid. He longed to give her a good hit but he held. He would see what she can do.

"I dare you to come closer so I can give you a good smack in the face!" Jack growled. He took out his wand and brandished it in Brooke's face.

Ready for what he was about to do she rolled out of the way. " Lesson one. Never show your opponent what you’re planning to do. Lesson two. Why were you stupid enough to do it to a RAVENCLAW. And a tip. I told you I'm prepared and I'm not spooked by you. You may have the anger and potential. But I have the skills and attitude." She said walking up to him.


" Jack, Jack, Jack. When will you learn? I may be sweet and innocent on the outside. But I am very dangerous. I stress very." She said in a know-it-all tone.

He smirked as Brooke rolled out of the way. He wasn't even trying to hurt her, he had just taken out his wand and showed that he had it. He laughed. "Scared?" He shook his head. "Attitude? You do have attitude when you feel like flirting! Sweet and innocent on the outside? Please!" He jumped out of his chair. What was this girl's problem?! Jack looked at Brooke, in a surprised sort of way.

"I have been wondering for quiet some time.....Why oh why did they put you in Ravenclaw?" Jack said, slowly advancing toward her. "Aren't they supposed to be smart? Caring? I heard you hate Gryffs and Hufflepuffs, is that true? Or are you attempting to make friends that are more powerful than you? Friends you could hide behind! As for intelligence, I'm afraid the Sorting Hat must be losing it's touch. I haven't seen you do anything intelligent this whole year!"

" In your dreams. You know you've got problems. Yes I am intelligent. Oh and the thing about hating Gryffs and hufflies. There's a dark secret about that. About a friend. And I'm finally moving on about that. The hat has its reasons. And the reason I'm here instead of in your house. I am not stupid and have problems. I mind my parents. Maybe thats why we have such a great realtionship." She spoke as if he was nothing and to her he was.

Jack rolled his eyes. "I have problems!" He muttered angrily. "That's new." He smirked at her. The thought about her and her parents however made his blood boil. It wasn't his fault that his father was awful to him. He glared at her with hatred.

"Lucky you. Of course, your life's perfect! How could I forget! Unlike you, I'm not perfect. I don't even know my mother and where she is, my father's awful to me and wants me to follow him in his footsteps. And I have no siblings to talk to. " He said, his voice rising on every word.

." No! I said I mind my parents. Not that I have a perfect life. I barely know my parents. There always gone. They work all year. I have no siblings either. I spend my whole summer in my house alone." Brooke said. Her anger was showing on her face.


" If your fathers treats you like that. Leave. Start your own life." Brooke shouted. Her clear voice echoed across the room. " You don't have to give hell to everyone at school about it. So what he is stupid and is evil. You’re not like that. And if he treats you horribly then leave." She spoke gentler this time. She wanted to be his friend and that meant giving honest opinions

Jack stared at Brooke. 'Start your own life! Leave!' Jack shook his head, his anger showing throughout his face. "Who the hell do you think you are? I can't believe you!" Jack raged, almost spitting with hatred. "You don't know me! You don't know my father and what he can do! I'm done Brooke!" He picked up his bag and stormed out of the classroom, gone.
