First library visit(Anyone)

Dwyane pushs open the doors to the library, and stands and looks around. "Wow." he says to himself as he looks up and down the shelfs stacked with books.

He walks over to Magical Creatures section after walking all around the library. He starts to scan the book titles untill he finds the book he wants "Magical Companions through the ages."
He takes the book and sits at a table, and starts to read.

Kat sighed and slammed the book closed, earning a furious glare from the librarian.
"Sorry,” she mouthed to the librarian, who huffed and turned back to whatever she was working on.

Kat sighed and pushed her fingers into her think black hair pulling slightly - she wasn’t very good in Transfiguration so McGonagall suggested that maybe if she found out a little about the turtle she was supposed to turn a tea cup into, it might go better.
Kat sighed, rubbed her face for once more and stood up and walked to the section of the library where books of Magical Creatures were kept.

Some boy – a Gryffindor as Kat noticed – was sitting at a table near the section and Kat noticed he was taller than she was when she passed his table.
Kat found the book that could be some help after a while but seeing as the book was too high for her to reach she almost burst out laughing at the irony.
Kat shook her head, finding the situation somewhat amusing already and turned, thinking she migth as well ask for help.

Kat noticed the same boy still reading at a nearby table and decided to give it a try.
“Um, excuse me,” Kat tapped the boy’s shoulder lightly, “I need a book from the Magical Creatures section, but it’s too high for me to reach. Think you could give me a hand?”<br>

Katie was walking down the path to the library she planned on studying for muggle studies and potions but she always found a distraction. As she opened the wooden doors to the library she walked over to the potions section. She could ask Perseus for help but she hasnt seen him around for a while. Perseus is one of the top potions student and he could help her with some potions but he seemed to dispear.

Katie scanned the books on the selfs looking for a begginers book to potions. It has really easy potions in it and help with begginers in cuting up stuff and stirring. Katie light green eyes scanned the selfs and she finally found it. She reached her hand as high as it could go and grabbed the book. As the big black book was in her hands Katie opened it up and started to read. She than walked over to a table and sat down. As she finshed a sentence she looked up from her book at two first years one in her house the other in Ravenclaw. Katie slammed her book shut and stood up and walked over towards them.

"I am Katie Davenport fellow first year Gryffindor and almost head prankster and you two are?" Katie asked with a warm friendly smile. She always loved to meet new people and make new friends.

Kat turned to look at the girl who approached the table just as Kat had finished her request to the boy. She was a Gryffindor as well – a first year.

“Hi, Katie, I’m Kat,” Kat smiled at the girl friendlily, “I’ve seen you around Hogwarts. I was just asking help to get a book from one of the shelves here.”<br>
Kat smiled brightly being in a good mood and glanced a quick look down at herself – Kat was in good shape, but she wasn’t very tall: “The one and probably the only thing I don’t like about being short!”<br>

Dwyane was brought out of his reading by a slight tapping on his shoulder, and turned to see a slightly shorter black haried girl, he give her a slight smile and stood while saying "Sure, which one do you need? Oh, by the way i'm Dwyane."

Just then he heard a slamming of a book nearby, he looked in the direction of the noise and saw a girl, which had long light brown hair. "Dwyane Farrelly" he replied, "How can almost be the Head Prankster if your in first year?" he asked extemly curious.

“Great! Thanks!” Kat smiled hearing the boy would help and pointed to the book she needed, “It’s that one up there. ‘The M….Mal….’ Uh, the one with tongue-twisting heading and the lobster-like thing under the heading.

Kat explained making a grimace after trying to pronounce the book title, but not succeeding.
Listening to the boy’s question to Katie Kat raised a curious eye-brow. It was an intriguing question.

Dwyane stood up to his full height and tryed to read the books title but was unable too,he streached to reach the book Kat wanted, as he scraped his fingers on the spine he felt the book being pushed back. So he climbed onto the tips of his toes and slowly pulls the book out.

He hands the heavy book to Kat while staring at lobster-like thing illustration upon the book, and says "Why do you want this book?" While he sits back down at the desk he occupied.

Katie watched as the two people before her try to get the book. She was farly tall and can reached high books but she thought it would be fun to watch Kat and Dwyane reached the book on tutles. Katie was very interested also on what Kat needed to do with a non-magical animal. She walked over towards the table and sat down. Eying her potions book she sliped it back in her shoulder bag and looked up at the two first years infront of her. This was a little strange for Katie she always hanged out with people who were allot older than her and she learned from them.

As Katie stared at Kat and Dwyane with her sparkling green eyes of mischief her lips curled up into a smile. She was starting to feel uneasy and she leaned back in her chair and continued to smile at the two people infront of her. Then its stuck her Dwyane had asked her how she can almost be head mischief maker and a first year. Katie rolled her eyes at another person who thought all the fith and sixth years get all the glory.

"It looks to me that you only think the fith years and sixth years get all the glory huh? well thats not true." Katie said siting back in her chair properly.

"I am not just any first year i am porply one of the bravest becuase i pull sixth year pranks. But i also pull its with the head mischief maker of the Gryffindor house Justin Lionheart and I also cant do it without my partner in crime another first year Brooke White. So gose to show all you have to do is pull pranks and be brave to get caught." Katie said fixing her gaze from Dwyane to Kat. She was wondering if she found herself some competion.

As Katie stood there explaining how she was in fact a part of a pranking team, a slight idea hit Dwyane just after he saw a slight twinkle in her eyes it was then he decided to at least give her some competion but he would need to know a few things like the pranking history of Hogwarts he thought.

"So, whats the biggest prank you have ever pulled?" Dwyane asked Katie almost innocently, while every now and again looking down at the book he was reading.

Yep it was true their was competion going around but Katie wasnt the girl to joke around with she knew very powerful people. She rolled her eyes at the boys attemtp to know her first prank she been pulling them since she was born how could she ever know her first ever offical prank. Katie sighed and she searched her bag for her potions book and opened it up where she left off and started to read.

"I ivented stuff like Fred and George did and i improved their inventions also but I not tell you about them classifed information." Katie said turning the page and reading about how to cut up your supplies correctly.

Dwyane wasn't impressed, if this is all the competion I have her then they might as well try and get Fred and George back here now he thought to himself with a slight smle on his face.

"Well its just..." Dwyane started, he looked around and saw no body else was listening in, and in a more hushed voice he continued "Its just that I heard that there was going to be a massive prank during brekfast tomorrow,"His voice returned to normal "and I thought it was you, oh Queen of Mischief." He said trying to keep the grin off his face.

Katie sighed at the boy she wasnt really liking him she dosent prank her fellow Gryffindor anymore well expect some people. She was making a mental note in her head to ask Justin something. As she finshed she looked up at the boy and glared at him. He was being very rude right now and she couldnt stand it.

"What ever but be careful where you go you just might get pranked." Katie said said rolling her eyes again and standing up from her chair. She sliped the potions book back in her bag and turned on her heels and walked out of the library leaving Kat and Dawyne by themselfs. She had to find her two partners in crime and tell them what jus happen. Then suddenly she heard a big bang sound coming from the library. A sly smile came to her face and she peeked through the window and noticed that one of her candy slipped out and exploed on the table she was just at. There was a smoke every where and black marks on the table. She smiled again and walked back to the Gryffindor common room satsfied.

Less then a minute after Katie had her say and walked away, a loud expolsion ripped through the Library, it didn't cause any real damage except for annoying the librarian. But the worst of it was that Dwyane was now covered from head to toe in black marks, from were he had been about to pick up a candy that Katie had dropped. The candy had been the thing that exploded.
While trying to dust him self off, "I am going to get her back for that!" Dwyane muttered angrily to himself, as he placed the book into his bag.

He headed to leave the Library, before stopping and returning to the table where he had been working. He looked at Kat giving her a nervous smile and said "Sorry about all that. See you around." And with that he was heading back to the common room.

Along the way he was brewwing yp a plan, a plan full of revenge. He now knew why he had been sorted into Gryffindor, he was beacause he didn't care if he got caught, all he wanted to do was get revenge and he was brave enough to at least try.

After accepting the book from Dwyane Kat had observed the conversation between the two Gryffindors silently.
The explosion hadn’t done much to her, except for only a couple of spots of dirt on her now, but Kat shrugged it off as she had had worse. With her brother, she was used to things blowing up under her nose.

She smiled at Dwayne’s back as he apologized to her for something that wasn’t even his fault, deciding she liked the boy and then watched him leave the library.
Acting on a sudden impulse Kat stuffed the bag into her book bag and dashed out of the library, earning one more annoyed glare from the librarian.

Dwayne strode towards the Gryffindor common room – Kat had discovered where all common rooms were thanks to her exploits around the castle and some help from Peeves – and he was moving quite quickly but thanks to the regular jogging Kat practiced she was able to catch up to him, before he reached to Portrait of the Fat Lady.

“Hey! Wait up!” Kat let out a breath, matching her steps with the Dwayne’s,” Would you mind, slowing down a little? I have shorter legs than you, you know? You are planning on revenge, right? One can see it from your face.”<br>
Kat smirked and pulled some off the dust from Dwyane’s cheek off with her finger, examining closer for a moment and decided it wasn’t much of anything new than the Weasley twins had in their inventions. At least it didn’t appear to be at this moment, although it did seem somewhat thicker.

“Any the bang influenced me as well, so I was planning on offering my help. Might be useful and I don’t tell on friends. Might be fun as well. But the decision is yours still, as I don’t have to share a common room with her,” Kat winked and pulled out a little vial from her book-bag, that she had discovered from a book and managed to brew with the help of an older Ravenclaw.
”But the decision is up to you. Anyway – take this. It will make it easier to get rid of this dirt. Don’t worry, I charmed an other bottle for myself so I wouldn’t run out of it. And I can show you the way to Prefects bathroom if you want – Peeves told me the password, when I helped him with pranking Filch.”<br>
Kat stopped in the middle of the hallway and reached the bottle towards the Gryffindor, wondering if the boy would accept her offer or not.

Dwyane slowed down and turned to face Kat. Dwyane looked at Kat, she had a twinkle in her bright bluish-gray eyes that was not there in the Library.
As Kat wiped some of the dust from Dwyane’s cheek, he started to blush but after a second the emotion receded. He watched her, as she examined the dust quickly, he took in her whole appearance and realised, as she continued talking, that she knew what she was talking about and could do this all on her own, without her help his chances of revenge slimmed considerably.
As Kat stopped and reached out her hand with the bottle in it, so did Dwyane.
“Thanks” Dwyane said accepting the bottle from her out hand. “And you want to be careful when you go in the prefects bathroom, as they will go crazy if they catch you in there.” He added with a small smile on his face.

Dwyane looked up and down the corridor making sure it was clear, “If you want in, then you’re in.” Dwyane said in a hushed voice “I already have a few ideas, but it’s the ingredients that are going to cause the problems.”<br>
Dwyane took out a piece of parchment from his bag, “This is a list of ingredients needed for a potion I found, called ‘Sheena’s curls’, it causes the hair to turn pink and starts producing gold and silver sparks from the hair whenever the head is moved.” He explained with a grin on his face. Dwyane then looked at the list and read it to Kat.
“Root of powdered asphodel
Chopped daisy roots
Powered moonstone
Leaves of a Flitterbloom
Unicorn tail hair
Sage burnt with a Centaurs hair”
“But...” He continued, “I haven’t been able to get any Unicorn tail hair or Sage burnt with Centaurs hair, so that plan is just about useless without them.” He said his grin fading slightly.

“So…”he said trying to sound confident, but failing, “What do you think, or have you got a better idea?”

“Great,” Kat smiled back at Dwayne with a twinkle in her eyes, ”And I know how to get the ingredients.”<br>
Kat smiled and as the hallways was empty she hopped to sit on the window sill and explained his idea: ”I’m was in for detention with Snape this week. Today is the last day and he had me arranging all his ingredients back into alphabetical order again. He has both ingredients, and judging by the dust cover on the shelves they were at, he hardly ever uses them. So he won’t notice when some is missing.”<br>
Kat smiled happily already thinking about the effect the potion will have. “I’ll make sure to bring my camera. It’s a great idea.”<br>
Kat turned to look at Dwayne once again:” I have to be in Detention today before 8, but Snape said I can drop by earlier if I wish. So I’ll head there now and then I’ll look you up in two hours. We could meet back here or do you have any other place in mind? Or somewhere where we can brew the potion in peace?”<br>

The grin which had faded from Dwyane's face returned "Thats brilliant! But are you sure Snape won't notice?" He exclaimed "And as for where we will brew the potion, my idea was the Room of Requirements. As I heard that if you wish for a place no one else can find, then we can leave the potion there with no worries of it being discovered."

Now Dwyane looked around the hallway before looking back at Kat "The only problem is. if the room is in use by some one else, we wont be able to get to the potion."

Dwyane now hopped onto the window sill and sat next to Kat, he looked at her and said "Thanks, I know you don't have to do this."

“Alright, the Room or Requirement it is then!” Kat smiled happily and hopping down the windowsill made a full twirl, ”Don’t have to do this? PLEASE! I want to do this! Life isn’t nearly as interesting as it could be if there were no pranks! And if I can help, then that’s even better.”<br>
(I hope you don’t mind if I forward time a little! Otherwise it would leave an emty gap of time)

Kat dropped her book-bag into her dormitory and headed to the detention while taking her camera along. As she had guessed she got the ingredients without any trouble. Snape even let her go earlier so Kat went to find Dwyane once again, with the required ingredients safely tucked into her pockets.

Kat found Dwyane not far from the place they had parted, as Kat didn’t knew the way to the Room of Requirement, although she had heard about the room.
“Hey,” Kat hopped in front of Dwyane and smiled brightly saluting the boy, ”Missing accomplished!”<br>Kat laughed and let her hand down again after checking her wrist-watch: ”If we get a move on it, then the potion should probably be ready before dinner so we can put the plan at use then.”<br>
Kat noticed a friend going past and she waved at her quickly before turning her attention back to Dwyane: ”Lead the way, captain!”<br>

"Thanks again." Dwyane said as Kat hopped off the window sill, "See you here in about 2 hours then? I will go and pick up the ingredients I already have, and meet you back here." Dwyane continued as he hopped off the window sill.
"See you later." he said with a wave as he turned to head back to his common room.

"Hi," Dwyane said as Kat turned up, "You're a little early arn't you?" he asked.
Dwyane watched her salute him, and said "Just be glad i'm half muggle, as if I wern't I would'nt have any idea what you just did." While trying to keep a stright face.

As Kat surrgested making a move Dwyane said "Ok, its up on the Third floor, in the eastern corridor." He said as he started to move over to a staircase.

Dwyane walked along the corridor, keeping an ear out for any body else. "So, you never said how was you detention with snape?" He asked casually, while he stopped at a tapistry hanging on the wall. He placed his back against the tapistry and stared intensely at the wall while saying, "We need a place that no-one else will find, We need a place that no-one else will find, We need a place that no-one else will find." As soon as the words left his lips a door appered right where he was looking at, He opened the door and said "After you." to Kat, with a smile on his face.

“Oh, right,” Kat remarked at Dwyane’s words looking at her hand for a moment before bursting laughing, ”It’s good you are half-muggle then. I always forget that wizards don’t know quotes from movies and books and as I often use them I often get blank looks on people’s faces.”<br>
Kat followed Dwyane to the Room of Requirement.
((Time really seems to fly, doesn’t it?)

“Detention, it wasn’t too bad. Snape actually quite an alright fellow – and seems as if he kind of likes me,” Kat grinned widely, “I did make my cauldron accidentally blow up and the potion landed on him, and he only docked about 20 points and a week of detention. I would have guessed I’d be in detention for ever or our house would be in negative. I told him during my first detention with him that he reminds me my brother. He was shocked but treated me a lot more fairly after that for some reason.”<br>
Kat watched curiously as a door appeared appeared in the tapestry at Dwyane’s words.
“Oh, thank you dear sir, ”Kat made a mocking bow as Dwyane let her in first and stepped in the room.

“Oh, wow!” Kat whispered turning around slowly to take in the entire room, which looked quite good and comfy, “This place looks great!”<br>
“Anyway we better start working,” Kat said after admiring the room for a while and then placing her camera on a nearby table, “You have to direct me, as I don’t know this potion. How did you think of it anyway?”<br>
