Samantha smirked when she got the 10 marks for Slytherin. She was even happier when Gryffindor lost ten points because of that dratted boy's behaviour. She wondered why the Professor apologized to the other Gryffindors in the class; surely they could not have expected her not to do that? They should just be thankful it was only 10 points. Quite composed and indifferent to what was going on, Samantha proceeded with their next task. Harry Potter was certainly not going to stop in the way of her education and her pursuit of success, nor was she going to let anyone or anything do that for that matter. She added up the vowels in her name: A + A + A + I + O = 1 + 1 + 1 + 9 + 6 = 18. She then reduced the 18 to a 9.
The number nine represents completion and achievement to the fullest degree (as it is the complete number, three, expressed three times). Nines dedicate themselves to service, often as teachers, scientists, and humanitarians. Strongly determined, they work tirelessly and are an inspiration to others. However, they can also be arrogant and conceited when things don't go their way. Samantha smiled at the first sentence. She knew she was going to change the world someday, and be in a position of power. Certainly she was displeased when things didn’t go her way. That was because she planned everything carefully and in advance, and she knew what she was doing. Surely if one did things properly they had the right to be upset when they didn’t turn out the way they wanted? Samantha knew she the extraordinary lengths she went to get everything she wanted, and she didn’t care if people didn’t like her methods because she was an important person from an influential family in the magical community and that stood for something.

Kari, seeing Nasser Salah a few seats away looking around, began to get a little more worried. In fact, she was pretty sure that she wouldn't be able to sleep that night she was so nervous. She decided to write her parents an owl about what happened, and wait for their reassurance. Or she could talk to Nasser, and see if he thought if Harry was lying. Kari was sure he wasn't. She didn't know Harry well, but she had a gut feeling he was telling the truth.

Sydney was busy drawing pictures in her mind when Harry excaped the classroom with a loud and noticable exit. Sydney woke from her daze as she watched Harry leave. She noticed the worry that was across his face. Syd only saw a glimpse and his eyes seemed to be very tense. Sydney stayed quiet for a few moments after Harry leaving.
Professor Vector, merely pushed his warning aside, and take points away from Gryffindor house. Sydney glared at Professor Vector as she turned around. Nasser sat a few seats away from her. She shot him a worried look. Syd conversed with Harry many times in the Common room. They werent friends, but aquantances. Nasser knew Harry from quidditch. Shrugging at Nasser, Sydney turned back to her blank peice of parchment. Picking up her quill, she touched the paper and thought about what she needed to start writting- but she couldnt. She knew something was wrong. Who was kidnapped? Are they alright? Did Professor Dumbledore know? Sydney knew Harry couldnt be lying- why would be lie about something like that!?
Shaking her head, Sydney frowed and began her work.

Maria smiled as the Professor continued on in class. This was new to her and she wouldnt get it right the first time. Opening up her text book she looked for the letters of her first name. Taking out a piece of parchment she dipped her quill into the ink tray and copied it down. “4- 1- 9- 9- 1” she whispered to herself while writing the numbers down on paper. Tucking a lock of golden brown hair behind her ears and than began to find all the numbers of her last name. “6- 3- 5- 4- 9- 5- 7” she wrote down also and added all the numbers up. After calculating she than found the right number. “Nine…..” She told herself and opened up the text book and read what her number was all about. “Represents completion and achievement to the fullest degree (as it is the complete number, three, expressed three times). Nines dedicate themselves to service, often as teachers, scientists, and humanitarians. Strongly determined, they work tirelessly and are an inspiration to others. However, they can also be arrogant and conceited when things don't go their way.” She read in her mind and turned her head to the side. That was nothing like Mia at all. She was never arrogant but she did like to study and was smart. But she really did not know if she was or not.
Looking over at Ivy’s direction Maria smiled at her and than turned back to her work. She now had to work on her HEART number. The heart number was supposed too reflect a person's inner personality or feelings that are often hidden from others. Smiling she than did some more math. “1- 9- 1- 5- 9” she told herself and calculated it to be 24 but than you added 2 plus 4 which was 6. Opening up her text book again Maria found the number six and looked it up. “Six represents harmony, friendship, and family life. Sixes are loyal, reliable, and loving. They adapt easily. They do well in teaching and the arts, but are often unsuccessful in business. They are sometimes prone to gossip and complacency.” Mia wrote down under her heart number. That sounded a little like her but she would have to wait until she was finished.
As she was doing this Harry Potter ran out of the class room demanding her had to see Dumbledore about a kid naping. "Oh no not another one!" Maria thought in her mind and looked at Nasser who was sitting next to Harry. Looking from Nasser to Ivy she smiled faintly and she couldnt concentrate right now. Looking at the door she really wondered what happen.

Sapphire put her book away as the bell rang and dipped her quill in her ink. She opened her textbook and, as instructed by the Professor, proceeded to work out her character number. 'S-a-p-p-h-i-r-e P-h-o-e-n-i-x', she wrote neatly on a piece of paper, before putting a heading, 'Character number'. Looking at the table in the book from time to time, although having learnt it roughly, she started her calculations, keeping them meticulously neat. That way, if she got any of them wrong, she would know where it was. Everything was always very ordered. Only her rough notes were scruffy. '1-1-7-7-8-9-9-5 7-8-6-5-5-9-6', she wrote underneath. She added them together with a quick calculation in her head, and double checked it. That came to 93, so her character number must be 2. Sapphire ran her finger down in the table until she came to the relevant number. She wrote the description neatly under her calculations. 'Two represents interaction, two-way communication, cooperation, and balance. Twos are imaginative, creative, and sweet natured. Peace, harmony, commitment, loyalty, and fairness are characteristic. But two also introduces the idea of conflict, opposing forces, and the contrasting sides of things: night and day, good and evil. Twos can be withdrawn, moody, self-conscious and indecisive.' She looked at it without much interest. She didn't feel like delving into her soul at the moment to find out whether she felt what had been said was true or not.
Sapphire started to work out her heart number, as she predicted they would be instructed to do next, and concluded that it was 8. As she was looking down the page to find the relevant passage, the class was disturbed by Harry Potter leaving in a great hurry, saying something about a kidnapping. Sapphire raised her eyebrows. She could well believe it. Ginny Weasley had been kidnapped before. But she doubted that there was anything she could do about it, so she refused to worry, nodding at Professor Vector's words. After all, if something had happened, they would know about it soon enough. So Sapphire returned to her textbook to find the description of her heart number and copied it down below her calculations. 'Eight indicates the possibility of great success in business, finance, and politics. Eights are practical, ambitious, committed, and hard working. They can also be jealous, greedy, domineering, and power-hungry. Eight is said to be the most unpredictable of numbers and can indicate the pinnacle of success or the depths of failure; the potential to go either way is present from the beginning.' She smiled wryly. Yes, some of that could describe her.
After having been disturbed by the departure of Harry Potter, Sapphire was finding herself slightly pushed for time and so had only just started on her 'SOCIAL' number when Professor Vector asked them to. She made the total sum to be 58, so that meant that her social number must be 3. She was a varied person! She copied down the paragraph, that told her about her social ease. Ah well. Sapphire copied down the homework off the board and left the lesson quietly, making a copy of her work for herself and putting her name on the original for Professor Vector.

Kari jotted down the assignment in he rnotebook, then found her social number. After careful adding, she came up with the total of 2.
Two represents interaction, two-way communication, cooperation, and balance. Twos are imaginative, creative, and sweet natured. Peace, harmony, commitment, loyalty, and fairness are characteristic. But two also introduces the idea of conflict, opposing forces, and the contrasting sides of things: night and day, good and evil. Twos can be withdrawn, moody, self-conscious and indecisive.
"Well that's...interesting." she muttered, and got up to leave her work on Professor Vector's desk. She grabbed her book bag and pulled out her CD player. Flicking on the switch, she hummed along to the music, heading up to the common room for a well deserved rest.

No sooner had Ivy finished writing down all the relevant material for her heart material, than she was being asked to do her 'SOCIAL' number. She sighed lightly to herself. She was finding this very hard work. Trying to keep up. She usually found that she was pressed for time in this lesson. She took it as a rule for herself that if she wasn't writing, she should be. Ivy liked to check her calculations, to ensure that she had got them right, but she often found that this left her behind other pupils.
Trying not to be too peturbed, Ivy started to work out her 'social' number. She felt that she had no time to lose. Some other people had already left the lesson. She needed to get this finished - she musn't be the only person left in the room! 'v-y', she wrote, and then stopped, her hand shaking slightly. She didn't stop to try and work out why. It wasn't important. She continued, 'T-n-s-t-l-l', and then looked once again to the table in her textbook to start her calculations. 4+7+2+5+1+2+3+3. That came to 27, so her social number must be 9. Ivy ran her finger down the page in the textbook once again, until she came to the relevant paragraph. 'Represents completion and achievement to the fullest degree (as it is the complete number, three, expressed three times). Nines dedicate themselves to service, often as teachers, scientists, and humanitarians. Strongly determined, they work tirelessly and are an inspiration to others. However, they can also be arrogant and conceited when things don't go their way.' Ivy didn't give much thought as to whether she agreed with this or not, instead copying it down as quickly as possible, and leaving her work hurriedly on Professor Vector's desk. She copied down the homework and looked anxiously to Mia, wondering if the older girl had finished or was merely waiting for her.

No sooner had Katie figured out her heart number, was she asked to find her social number. Once again she wrote out the proper letters for finding her social number. K-T-L-Y-N-R-B-B-N-S. She then looked to her chart to find the corresponding numbers. Katie pushed a lock of hair back out of her face and scanned the page for the appropriate boxes. Her results came to 2-2-3-7-5-9-2-2-5-1. Adding the numbers together the first time she came up with 38, then adding those two numbers together she came up with 11. Adding those two numbers together she came to her final result of 2. Looking down the page she found the results of her heart number.
Katie copied down, "Two represents interaction, two-way communication, cooperation, and balance. Twos are imaginative, creative, and sweet natured. Peace, harmony, commitment, loyalty, and fairness are characteristic. But two also introduces the idea of conflict, opposing forces, and the contrasting sides of things: night and day, good and evil. Twos can be withdrawn, moody, self-conscious and indecisive." Satisfied with the work she had done today, Katie made sure her name was on her parchment and took it up to the front and layed it on a stack of parchment on the Professor's desk. Katie walked back to her seat and placed all of her items in her shoulder bag before leaving the classroom. She was heading to the Student Lounge where she would complete the homework for this class and turn it in on time, if not earlier.

Maria looked from the door back to her book. She had to concrete to get her work done. Trying to push Harry's out burst in the back of her mind she looked up her social number, which was consisted of all of the constants in a person’s name that reflects the outer personality and the traits that are most often shown to others. So that meant she need to find the numbers for M- R- F- L- M- N- G. Tucking a lock of her hair behind her ears she looked in her book for the numbers, 4- 9- 6- 3- 4- 5- 7. Once added up it would be 38 but the number was over 9 so you would have to add 3 plus 8, which got you 11 but that would still be over 9 so her social number would be two. "Two represents interaction, two-way communication, cooperation, and balance. Twos are imaginative, creative, and sweet natured. Peace, harmony, commitment, loyalty, and fairness are characteristic. But two also introduces the idea of conflict, opposing forces, and the contrasting sides of things: night and day, good and evil. Twos can be withdrawn, moody, self-conscious and indecisive."
After finishing her work Mia looked over at Ivy who seemed to be waiting on her. Smiling she walked up to Professor Vectors desk and set her paper down. Looking up at the board she noticed there was home work to be done. Sighing Mia took out her note book and copied it down. You were supposed to do the heart number, social number of a house founder. But who? It would most obviously be Godric Gryffindor of course. After copying down the home work plans she looked as Ivy who had just put her very own paper down. "Hey Ivy want to work on our home work in the lounge? Its boring to work on home work alone and it would be fun to look over the house founders together?" Maria said with a smile and linked arms with Ivy and walked out of the class room.
