Jaquin barely had time to react as a fist flew towards his jaw, it made a sickening, crunching noise as knuckles hit neck and bone. Clutching his jaw, Jaquin looked as the Ravenclaw 5th year stomped away. He did not really comprehend why her reaction was so severe. Just then, the reason dawned on him; it was unambiguous that she felt insulted by his referring to her as "the girl". Jaquin contemplated for a second, amused by his mistake. All he had meant was to get a message to everyone, as no other spells were as effective when several wizards and witches fired at the same time. Without much care, Jaquin turned back to the Slytherin and shook his head, "Never thought anyone would be that serious. Anyways, I doubt that any other spell other than Stupefy will work, and obviously, you know that. Let's get to work then, shall we?" Just as Jaquin finished talking, the Hungarian Horntail nest-mother reared up, ready to spew incinerating heat towards the students. Jaquin hesitated for a moment, not wanting to hurt the dragon, but nevertheless raised his wand, bellowing, "Stupefy!!!" He hoped that the other students would do the same, as it would be the only way for them to stun the dragon.
