((Oh...well...maybe you should have made that more clearer. Because I though you meant back-up as in back into position. Even if I had made a mistake, the context clues didn't help any either. "One more word and that girl would be in the hospital wing." made me think you still had your wand up because you were ready to curse Mack.))

(( I din't say they have to be I mean Brooke greatly dislikes Mack. But they have the attitudes. And the ability. Mack has things a quilities Brooke misses. And Brooke has prorties you miss. Or Mack misses.))

Mack looked at Brooke, this girl was looney, "Um. Ok. I think I'll just leave. I'm-uh-afraid to hang out with freaks like you Brooke. Whatever you think I said, I didn't. All I told you was that I don't have all day, so hurry it up. But, yeah, you must have heard some sort of voice inside your head because you heard something else." Mack laughed lightly and looked to Jack, "Catch up with me later."

Jack watched as Mack attempted to takle Brooke to the ground. Then the girls started fighting over him which confused him. What was so special about him?
"Fighting over me?" Jack asked Mack with raised eyebrows. "What's your question?" He almost snarled at Brooke. He wasn't in the best mood now, and he could be quite rough when angry.

Mack rolled her eyes at Jack, "Don't flatter yourself. We weren't fighting over you...exactly." She told him with a sweet, but not innocent smile. Brooke then left and Mack threw her hands up in the air, "Hallalejuha, thank you Jesus!"

She doesn't know who she is dealing with, Jack thougth as he watched Brooke walk away towards the lake. She should have known better than get in a battle with Mack. He looked back at Mack.
"What did you think of her?" Jack asked quietly.

Mack raised an eyebrow at Jack, "Didn't like her. She's too conceited to be a Ravenclaw. I mean, I know Ravenclaw's have egos, but damn! Her's was huge!" Mack smiled evilly and took a seat on the bench which Brooke had been standing in front of.
"What'd you think? I know you've met her before..." Mack asked the question back, suddenly craving for a piece of chocolate.

Jack smiled at Mack. He knew Mack disliked people with huge egos. He started when she asked the same question back.
"Stubborn," he said quietly as he sat down beside Mack. " I'm giving her a chance though. Ravenclaws aren't supposed to be that bad..." Jack glanced at Mack before saying: "I could give her Hell if my temper got the best of me. But I thought that I wouldn't have to since you already were." Jack said, an amused smile playing across his face.
