" It was I who was settting her straight." Brooke spoke to Jack as if she just got of that bench saturday. Turning to water her favorite spot in the whole grounds how she wished to be by the waterside. Away from this make-believe magic from this make- believe girl who thought her self as a pureblood.


Brooke heard a voice inside her head. One of those adivesers. Look at her so nerves. To think a pureblood would have more respect to her kind. Brooke laughed in spite of her self. This is so funny!!. Looking at this sitution at a diffrent light he laughed again. This was one of her great traits. She was abile to looke at things from a diffrent light.

[Mackenzie Holden]

"Oh please, you're image is seriously screwed. You're a Ravenclaw whose priorities are way off. You think because you're pureblooded you are the best. Let me help you with something then, you're still worthless. You aren't a Slytherin. You don't follow the Dark Lord and I am pretty sure you don't think about anyone but yourself." Mack snapped at this girl. She sent a quick glare. This girl was conceited. Mack sighed and kicked the bench before turning to Jack, "Therefore, I was setting her straight. Because you know what I've been through, and it's hell. I know what a pureblood is." Mack smiled at her friend, they had talked a lot at Hogsmeade and she wondered how far their friendship would go.

" Look Miss Depressed. I din't go over to you and ask you to start this. And if some one needs to straighten out their priorties... its you. One of the resons i'm not standing here today wearing a green badge is because I don't think my self higher than you or anyone else in that case. Why in the lord do I have to be a Dark lord follower to be a Pureblood? I have standerds , and desence unlike you. And I don't mean anything bad to his followers its just I never will be one even if he came knocking and got on his knees and begged. I may not be a Slytherin because the sorting hat din't want to put me there. He thought that I was to smart , and I do care for non people of my blood. My oponion on that if a person conciders them self over some on else its because that person is lacking something. In your case....Respect." Brooke din't yell or scream this. In fact she was calm and thought this girl need to listen. she was a Ravenclaw , in other words wise. And proud of it.

Mack's icey blue eyes flashed and she took her hands and placed them on this girl's shoulders, pressing hard and daring her to say anything. Mack's anger was apparent, and although she wanted to get this point across the girl, she knew if someone didn't stop her she would end up hurting this Ravenclaw badly, "Listen Mrs. Know It All. You sat there and you gave your FELLOW RAVENCLAW a bad attitude over him asking you to play football. So technically you DID start it. My priorities are straightened out. I know where I belong and I live there, it's people like you who don't seem to get that they don't fit in anywhere. And, oh please, you don't think yourself higher than anyone else? You sat there and gave a bad attitude towards him because he asked you to play football, and you don't say you aren't better than anyone else? I KNOW I'm not better than anyone else...and I deal with it because I'm screwed up but let me fill you in on a little secret, no one likes to have to watch you make yourself feel better by making others feel worse!" Mack pressed harder on the girls shoulder, so hard that her hands started to shake violently.

"Voldemort wouldn't even think about coming to your door, let alone ask you to join him. ANd if you think he would get on his hands and knees and beg, you are seriously mistaken because Voldemort doesn't beg for anything. He gets what he wants willingly. And if you don't give it to him, he makes you. But you don't have to worry about that, Voldemort wouldn't want a wise ass Ravenclaw to be in his army anyway. And I do have respect, I have respect for those who deserve it and believe me, you don't." Mack finished, her nails digging into the girls shoulders. She was almost positive she could draw blood, but she released her grip and stared hard and cold at this Ravenclaw.

" O.k Let me tell you this you try to impress people way to much. Secondly , I gave him a bad attitude because my time is precious to me and I was so upset when he came up and made the HOT guys go away. I spend every evening by the lake and I was on my way there. If you dint catch this I said even if he came on his knees to my door and begged. I don't expect him to. I do fit in and this is not your place. And remove your hands from my shoulders. Thanks. '' Brooke din't yell. She never got hot faced or sweaty in a word screamige.

Bee watched the whole fight carefully, not wanting to try to break it up, knowing if she got in the Slytherins way she would be broken up. Bee grimaced when she saw Jack come. Her worst enemy.

"Jack," She said stiffly. She still didn't forgive him for what had happened at Hogsmeade. She listened as the two girls broke into another word fury. But by Brooke's last words made Bee feel furious. Scott was her friend!

"Is that all you care about?! The hot guys? Because if I am right, I have to agree with her!" Bee said rather gruffly. She looked at the Slytherin girl, she didn't even know her name and yet she was agreeing with her. "Your priorities or way off!" Her eyes flashing with anger, she looked around.

"It's not like any guys are going to like you with that attitude!" Bee told the girl. The nerve of her!

" Well i'm sorry i'm boy crazy. If you have a problem with that you should talk to my mom." brooke said her attention to the girl.

[Jack Rendel S5]

Jack listened to the girls heated agruement. He watched with some amusement as Mack grabbed Brooke by the shoulders rather roughly. He was surprised that Brooke didn't yell out; she must be made of stronger stuff than Jack had thought. He found no use in joining the agruement just yet, since he didn't really know how it started. He was listening to everything intently, trying to catch up. Finally, he thought he had the basic idea of what was going on. He listened to what Bee had to say before making a comment. He gave Bee a slight smile for her effort, but it seemed like Brooke could care less about it. Jack had to admitt, Brooke did seem a little too obssesed with boys.

"Something must be wrong with the Sorting Hat if it put you in Ravenclaw.... I always thought that old hat might just stop working correctly." He looked at Brooke with a steely gaze. "And here's the proof." He sneered quietly.

Jack looked around at all the others standing there. Mack made a perfect Slytherin, just a little confused, he counted himself as a good Slytherin, Bee was a great example of an annoying Gryff, and Scott.... well, maybe he should have been put somewhere else besides Ravenclaw. He had some of the qualities of Ravenclaw, so Jack thought Scott was o.k., next to Brooke. Brooke and her attitude just didn't belong in intelligent Ravenclaw. At least, that's what Jack thought. He smirked and then walked over to stand by Mack. She looked like she was about to break lose from restraining herself from Brooke, and Jack knew Mack would be put through even more if she hurt Brooke.

"Are you alright?" He asked Mack. "Do you think you can control yourself?" He added with a slight smile.

Mack's teeth were grinding. She was clenching her fists and her anger was boiling over. Mack looked at Jack, "Do I look alright?! Do me a favor though, ok? If I charge at little Miss. I'm Better Than Everyone Else over here, then grab me and hold me back!" Mack's voice was steel and she wanted nothing else then to whack Brooke over the head with something heavy.

Her voice simmered down only a little as she looked back at Brooke, "Being boy crazy and thinking that you are so damn fine are two total different things, Princess." Mack spat each consonate out. Thank God for all those years of singing in Choir, she could speak so clearly that no matter what she said she knew others could understand her. Unless they were deaf, which wouldn't surprise Mackenzie if Brooke was because Mack had to keep repeating herself.

"So stop with, I'm so much better than you and I deserve so much more, holier than thou attitude. Because it's not very Ravenclaw like and if Ravenclaw's are as smart as they let on, then you should know that you are only making enemies here." Her fists were still clenched. And she swore she felt steam coming out of her ears.

Jack couldn't help smirking at how angry Mack was getting. She was surprised that this Ravenclaw wasn't running as far as possible. He would be. He clamped a hand on Mack's shoulder since it looked like she was about to charge right now.

"Ravenclaws are supposed to be smart?" He asked Brooke in mock confusion. "I wouldn't have guessed." He looked at Bee and then at Mack and then at Scott. He gave Scott a look that meant not to take it personally. He was just trying to get Brooke riled up.

" Mack your a good witch thatwas awsome magic back there. All I wanted was to go to the lake. My evning was disturbetd and i'm sorry for this." Brooke said waving her hand as if the fight was on display.

[Mackenzie Holden]

Mack's eyes raised to the sky and she continued to grind her teeth, "Go. I don't need your filthy compliments." She spoke in a tone of voice that said she wasn't kidding.

" That wasn't a compliment. That was proof you have some good in you. Its just you don't know how to use it." Brooke said. She din't move an inch.

[Mackenzie Holden]

"Sounded like a compliment to me. And I know I'm good. And I know how to use it. To those who deserve it, anyway. And trust me. You don't deserve it." Mack told her in a sharp tone. She felt Jack's hand on her shoulder and she would have charged forward and tackled this Raven if his hand hadn't been holding her back.

" Now you see that wasn't hard to say. Now say something kind to someone else." Brooke spoke as if she was talking to a five year old. She was so bored. This girl had an anger problem. She tried to aplozie and this girl din't even notice. She wore her emiontions on her sleeve.

[Mackenzie Holden]

"Oh, lookie here, we have a masochistic wanna be mudblood on our hands, Jack." Mack spoke indirectly to her best-friend. How had this girl gotten something kind out of her previous statement? Apparently this girl didn't know a compliment from an insult. And Mack was seriously getting annoyed with the babytalk. And before she could stop herself she had made up her mind, "I'll show this Masochistic Mudblood." And she pushed the girl down. Her anger too apparent.

Mack was one to fight fair, so she waited for the girl to retaliate. Waited to feel "pain" coming from this Ravenclaw who bugged the hell out of Mackenzie.

Brooke was quick on pulling out her wand and put a perment sheild around her self. Giving Jack the look that said. Your my friend do something.

[Mackenzie Holden]

Mack's wand was out just as quick as Brooke's. And seeing the look she gave Jack, Mack looked back at her fellow Slytherin and raised an eyebrow before tucking her wand away. She wasn't in the mood for a duel anyway. She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair, what she did when she was upset or just frustrated. Mack looked at Jack then turned away before walking. But she had one last thing to say, "This isn't over. Jack would you like to come with me? Or are you going to stay here with this....horrid girl?" Mack raised her eyebrow again and waited.

" Jack I want to ask you a question then you can leave with...whatever she is." Brooke said confused.

Her wand was back up and her emarld eyes were looking up at him. One more word and that girl would be in the hospital wing.

Mack rolled her eyes and she looked at the Ravenclaw girl, "Well hurry up and ask him then. I don't have all day."
