Molly went into her room and looked around. It was spectacular. Everything was so beautiful, the decorations the portraits lining the room. It was as wonderful as Molly had dreamed it would be. She was so glad that she had decided to come here.
Molly dropped her bags down onto her bed and began to unpack. After she had done that she walked around the room opening drawers and searching corners of the magnificent room. Getting rather bored, Molly decided to take a stroll around the castle.
Molly walked out of her room into a brightley lit corridor. untill she came to the Entrance Hall to see who was there. Seeing that there was no one she knew, she sat down at one of the tables and put her hand under her chin as if she was waiting for someone.

Jersey had been walking alone around the castle, examning every single architectual detail. The castle absolutely fascinated her, she was in a world of her own. A world full of hope and happiness. Everything that had made her miserable in her life during her past 16 years was now gone forever.
Jersey made her way towards the entrance hall to see Molly. She had known Molly from a previous encounter with her in the lounge back at the school. Jersey frowned as she thought about the way she had treated her, she was quite rude, and that was not the way her mother and father had brought her up to be. It was her grandmother who had changed her.
Jersey shuffled her feet agaisnt the ground as she made her way over to her with her head down in disgrace at herself. Once she reached the girl she began to talk in a low sad voice. "Hi Molly." she began with a frown. "I just thought I'd appologize for the way we first met. I was having an awful day, and I sometimes come off as a jerk to non Slytherians, but honestly, once you get to know me, I am a pretty nice person. I'm usually not the type to go appologize to people after I've been rude, but you seemed to nice. Plus recently there has been a lot of things going on in my life that just changed me." Jersey looked at Molly and smiled. She hoped that she had believed her and had not thought that she was just another back stabbing Slytherian."How about it, will you forgive me for being impolite and rude?" Jersey placed her hand out for a handshake and hoped for forgiveness.

Jasmine was flat on her stomach with her feet crossed behind her. She had just started to read a book on Dragons and she was quite into it. As she turned the page she could hear a purring sound at the other foot of her bed. Jasmine ignored her kitten and she continued to turn the pages of her book. She than turned the final page in her book and she smiled brightly as she closed it. She had been in her room for hours just reading the book and she only just started it today. Jasmine than got up with a loud crack from her mussels. She rubbed her neck and picked up her book and put it on the side dresser where another book lay already read.
Jasmine than started to think of things to do, she could go to the lounge, explore the castle more, or just head to the entrance hall and grab a bite to eat. She than felt a ramble in her stomach and she picked to head to the entrance hall for bite to eat. She got up and put on her dark blue cloak that she had just bought at Diagon Ally with the rest of her savings. Jasmine than picked up her shoulder bag and put it on her shoulder and she made sure she had her key so she could lock the room and get back in. Jasmine headed towards the door and she closed it behind her gently and she locked it. She than turned around and her dark brown hair followed her. She smiled brightly at the students that were also exploring the castle.
Jasmine than finally reached the entrance hall and she notice her best friend Molly and Jersey sitting at a table looking like they were trying to compermize. She smiled warmly and walked over towards the two girls and greeted her with a friendly smile. "Hello Molly Jersey what’s up?" Jasmine asked her friend and took a seat next her. She than pulled her brown hair out of her eyes and she took out her wand. She held it in the air and then a cup of hot chocolate came on the table with whipped cream and marshmallows. Than two other hote chocolates were on the table. Jasmine than handed the two cups to the two girls and smiled. "Here drink up its a little cold and you don’t won’t to catch a cold." Jasmine said taking a sip of her hot chocolate.

Mary was sitting on her bed reading when all of a sudden she found it hard to concentrate. I’m in Switzerland, I shouldn’t be reading, I could do that any time. She decided to go for another look through the castle.
She ended up getting lost and wandering around the castle for about an hour before she found the entrance hall. She looked around for people she knew; her eyes then rested on Jersey, Jasmine, and Molly. They all seemed to be talking pleasantly and having a good time. “Hello, all” she said as she approached them, “mind if I join you?”<br>

Kat had made a quick tour in the castle and dropped her luggage off in her room, although the stuff she had brought was surprisingly little for what others seemed to have.
Kat had grabbed some cheese and crackers and ate them and now as she watched the snow slowly falling outside the wondow she was content.
Remembering suddenly how fantastic muggle skiing-tracks had been at night, when they were only illuminated by lanterns and the moon and stars, when she and her brother had came to Switserland to ski a couple of years back, Kat got a sudden urge to go skiing here as well.
Kat walked to the entrance hall and looked around. Not seeing anyone familiar she shrugged and walked to a group of 4 older girls that seemed to getting along fairly well.
“Hi, sorry for interrupting, but I was wondering if any f you know whether some skiing-tracks are opened during night as well?” Kat asked with a smile ,”And I’m Kat.”

Molly looked up at Jersey, who had just come in. "Yeah, I wasn't as friendly as I should've been, I'm sorry too. I forgive you and I hope you forgive me. I understand what you might've been going through. I hope we can be good friends." Molly returned the smile to Jerseyand shook her hand. She was glad that Jersey didn't totally hate her. "Care to sit down? I was also wandering. . . What brought you down here?" Just then, Jasmine came through the doors.
"Why hello Jasmine! We were just. . . er. . . talking, appoligizing to one another, but now I think we're going to be good friends." Molly smiled at Jersey once again, but then turned her attention towards the drinks Jasmine had just offered them. "Thank you, it is rather chilly in here." Molly picked up the cup and began to sip
the warm drink from within. She hadn't had hot chocolate in a long time and it tasted so good. Molly waved her wand in the air and napkins appeared in front of her. Molly took one and lightley dabbed her mouth with it. "Want one?" asked Molly with her mouth full of marshmellows. She had been gesturing towards the napkins.
Molly then saw Mary come in, she had only met Mary once before, but greeted her warmly. "Hello Mary, of course you can join us! come sit down." Molly pulled out a chair from under the table. Once again Molly waved her wand in the air, but instead of napkins, a hot chocolate appeared in front of Molly. She carefully handed it to Mary. Molly pulled her hair into a rubberband to keep it out of her eyes (It was getting rather annoying that she had to pull it behind her ears every 5 seconds).
Molly chatted for about 10 minutes when another girl appeared. She looked a lot younger then Molly so she was guessing that she was a first year, maybe a second year. Molly smiled as the girl introduced herself. "I think the tracks are open, but I'm not entirley sure. I'm Molly by the way. nice to meet you. Would you like to join us or are you to busy?" Molly asked kindly. She was getting to know a lot more people and she liked the attention.

Jersey smiled as her and Molly appologized to one another. That was just the way she wanted to start her trip. Jasmine, a Ravenclaw girl had interrupted their appologizies, not that it bothered Jersey at all. Jersey watched as Jasmine handed Jersey and Molly hot chocolate. She smiled at Jasmine and graciously accepted. After meeting with her, Jersey had been unsure on whether or not Jasmine had liked her or not. Jersey didn't care too much about it though, and started to sip her hot chocolate.
Not long after the 3 of them had been sipping their hot chocolate, Mary, a Slytherian girl, asked to join. Molly was the one to answer and saying that she could join them. Jersey was happy to see that another Slytherian girl was around. Jersey ran her hand their her hair starting from forhead back, in order for her to get the hair out of her face. She looked at Mary and smiled and began to start conversation, "Hey there Mary, what's going on?" Jersey had decided to cross her legs at this moment and place her folded hand on her lap.
Just as Jersey had started a conversation with Mary, another girl had shown up. Jersey was pretty positive that she was a Ravenclaw, and quite young at that. Jersey said nothing to the girl as she asked a question about the ski tracks and introduced herself as Kat. Jersey had put her head down and stared at her hands, unsure of whether she should introduce herself or not. Jersey decided to wait to see if the girl was going to join them before doing so.

Kat smiled at the girls as one of them invited her to join them. Biting down on her lower lip, Kat decided it was worth a chance to get to know these girls.
“Sure, I’d love to join you. The skiing-tracks are opened tomorrow as well,” Kat said with a smile taking in the four people in front of her – one of the girls was a Ravenclaw as Kat recalled, as she had seen her around the common room a couple of times.
She eyed all the girls , feeling a bit surprised as one of the older girls seemed a bit unsure about something.
“So what kind of conversation did I interrupt?” Kat asked folding her legs under her as she sat on the ground and loosening her long hair from the high pony-tail they had been into.

The other girl decided to join them. Molly found out that the girl's name was Kat. "We were just drinking Hot Chocolate and talking about . . . well, different things." Molly smiled. She was feeling quite cheerful that afternoon.
"do you guys want to go skiing later? I think it would be fun."

Molly - as Kat found out what her name was – had answered her question and she asked about going skiing.
“I’m in for skiing, although I haven’t done it in a couple of years already. Hope I won’t fall too much,” Kat made a grimace and turned to the two completely unfamiliar girls in the small group, “Sorry, but I don’t really know you two yet. Could you tell me your names?”<br>

"I've never skiied before," Jersey began. "But I'm up for anything." She smiled as she thought of how many time she would probably fall. "Oh, and my name is Jersey by the way." she said to Kat smiling. "Pleasure to meet you." ((It's short, and as Molly said, I will make it longer next time  )) |

"Thank you." Mary said as Molly conjured her a hot chocolate. "Oh, not to much; yourself?" Mary answered when Jersey asked her what was up. She began chatting with the girls until someone else came in. Molly answered her question about the ski tracks and invited her to join them.
Kat then joined the group and plans were made to go skiing later. "I'm Mary, Mary Evans." She told Kat. "I have never skied before either, but hey why not? We are in Switzerland." She said. "Does anyone think they could help me though? I mean its not like there isn't anything in it for you. I'm sure it will be hilarious when I fall on my butt, as I'm sure I will do many time." She continued with a smile.

Kat smiled at Jersey and Mary: ”Jersay and Mary. It’s a pleasure. And I won’t forget your names anymore.”<br>
Kat laughed as Mary asked if someone could help her learn to ski: “I’ve been to Switserland before with my brother, so I learned then. I’m not the best out there, but I can show you what I know if you want. And trust me – I spent half at the time on my butt and back the first time I was skiing. If not more.”<br>
Kat made a grimace and tugged at her hair with a sparkle in her eyes: “As ashamed as I am admitting it – the instructor finally had to give me a pillow, as I was so sore from all the fallings already. I have awful balance.”<br>

“Well Kat I think I just may take you up on that.” Mary said, delighted that she would have someone help her learn to ski. “Well, I don’t know about you guys but I have had a lovely trip so far.” She said while crossing her legs then taking a sip of the hot chocolate Molly had given her. “This is really good Molly, thank you.”

Molly imagined herself on skis. It was not a lovley thought. "I can snowboard, but I can't ski . . . can you teach me too?" Molly remembered her first time on a snowboard, it was awful. She kept falling on her face. After a while she couldn't feel her face because the coldness made her so numb, but after a lessons she got the hang of it and she was pretty good, not pro good, but in the middle good.
"Hey if anyone wants to learn how to snowboard I can teach you!" Molly grinned at the whole group. It felt good to be surrounded by friends.

“No problem Mary and Molly. I don’t mind,” Kat smiled at the group, “You can snow-board? I’d like to learn that. There are probably trainers around here as well.”<br>
Kat survived the other girls smiling lightly. His brother would certainly miss her as she missed him, but she was glad she had came. Even because of the fact she met new people – maybe future friends?
“Yep, the trip has been awesome this far,” Kat agreed with Mary.

Judith finished reviewing her charms notes and decided it was time for a break. She left her room and decided to check out what was going on in the entrance hall. She saw people sitting and talking in groups, but nobody she knew. Spotting a group of girls at one of the tables drinking hot chocolate, Judith decided to join them. “Hello” She said “I’m Judith Chloe. Do you guys mind if I join you?”

As everyone discussed the outside activities that the day had in store for them, Jersey smiled, keeping quiet and just listening to what everyone had to say. She was quite intentive until she saw someone coming towards them. Jersey watched closely at the girl as she introduced herself and kindly asked if she could join them. Jersey replied, "Yeah sure, I don't think anyone will mind." Jersey smiled pulling out a chair for the girl to sit on. "My names Jersey Scott, were talking about skiing later, want to join?"

A girl who introduced herself as Jersey Scott told Judith that she could join and pulled her out a chair, which Judith gratefully accepted. Jersey then invited Judith to go skiing with them all. “Sure, I would love to.” Judith said, “I have yet to hit the slopes in fact. I can’t wait.” Judith then smiled, “I just love skiing, don’t you guys?”<br>
Judith had learnt to ski when she was six and her family had taken a vacation to Switzerland. Ever since then she has loved skiing and made an effort to go at least once a year. She looked around at the girls surrounding her and was quite content. This was exactly what she wanted when she left her room, being surrounded by friendly faces that really seemed to accept her.

The girls had been tallking for about a half hour when Molly noticed a girl walking towards them. Jersey invited her to join them and she sat down. "Hi Judith my name is Molly." Molly smiled at her and took a sip of the warm Hot Chocolate that had cooled only a little bit. "Yeah I want to get on the slopes too, but I'm not much of a skier, I'm more into Snowboarding. Would you like a Hot Chocolate?" and without waiting for Judith to answer, for the third time she waved her wand in the air and a Hot Chocolate appeared in front of her, which Molly pushed over to Judith.
Molly looked around at all the girls and thought aboutintroducing them herself. "I guess I'll introduce everyone. Across from me is Jasmine, the girl sitting by Jersey is Mary, and Kat is sitting next to Jasmine." Molly smiled. She was having a great time and was happy to be sharing it with friends. Molly was glad that her father had agreed to let her go on the trip, and even though she wasn't home celebrating Christmas with her family, at least she had close friends that made her happy. This was truley something to be thankful for.
