Jersey sat there quiet again. She listened as Mary introduced everyone to the newest person to join their group, Judith. Jersey nodded as Mary pointed out each person, Jersey didn't really know why she was nodding though. Once Mary finished introducing each girl, Jersey lifted her hot chocolate to her mouth and took a sip. The chocolate taste tasted delightful to Jersey's tastebuds, and it was just what she wanted. She smiled and looked around at the girls and decided to start a discussion, but what about. Jersey contemplated on what she should say, but she could think of nothing. Finally it hit her, "So what do you girls want to talk about?" Jersey laughed at ther attempt to make conversation. She had hated when people said that, but yet she still said it. She had decided to leave the conversation part up to someone else.

Judith nodded to each person in turn as they were introduced by Molly. She then took a sip of the hot chocolate Molly had handed her; “delicious” she said smiling at her. ‘Hmm what is there to talk about?’ Judith thought after Jersey had asked what everyone had wanted to talk about. “I know this may seem cliché considering I am a Ravenclaw, but how about we talk about books. I actually have a bit of a guilty pleasure for romance novels.” Judith said with a giggle.

Kat smiled as she was introduced to Judith. “Romance novels?” Kat laughed at Judith’s suggestion, “Yeah, they are fun sometimes. Relaxing, at least most of them.”
Kat pondered over the question for a moment silently: ”Sometimes seem a little unreal though, but it’s nice to read happy endings. I admit that I’m a sucker for happy endings.”
Jersey smiled as Judith suggested talking about books. Judith said something about romance novels. Jersey spoke up, "Romance novels, huh? Well their alright, I've read quite a few, for no reason at all, just testing out different authors, I, myself didn't like them to much. Yeah their cute and all that lovey dovey stuff but not my stuff." Jersey finished off her hot chocolate which was getting quite cold, and started up again. "Personally, I love the gory books, with blood and murders and all that fun stuff." Jersey gave the group a sly smile as she brushed back her hair.

Mary continued to chitchat with the girls for a time before Judith joined them. “Hey Judy” she said as soon as introductions were complete and Judith had a second. Then the conversation was turned to books; one of Mary’s all time favourite subjects.
“Personally, I adore historical fiction. But often I prefer fantasy, it’s a whole different world to explore, immerse yourself in, and occasionally even put your stamp on. That’s what I really love about books, you can really make the world your own and nobody can say you’re wrong. Plus you can really lose yourself in the book, and all of a sudden nothing else matters. The whole world melts away and everything makes sense again, even if its only for a short while. That’s how I feel anyways, I don’t know how many people agree.”

“Actually – can you really even compare one style of books to some other? I mean they are all great, if only the writer knows what she or he is talking about in it,” Kat said and tilted her head, “I mean historical novels are great – and interesting unlike Binns. Romance novels are nice for relaxing and gory books – they can give you so great thrills!”
Kat smiled at the other girls: “And fantasy is great of course like Mary said. I think boks are great on the whole.”
