Catalina sat at her table and felt like a babysitter as all the little 1st and 2nd years seemed to be hovering around her for some reason. There was not much else to do so she took a plate and took a slice of cheesecake. "Ye all sit down and get te plates" she said, perhaps if they were all eating they'd leave her alone for a bit. The commotion in the room settled a bit as people took their seats and the noise level reached the typical level of most meal times. Twiddling her wand in her fingers, Catalina saw an odd thing, something was floating towards the Gryffindor table. Whatever it was then fell down and landed on a girl.
Catalina's eyes darted back to the Slytherin table looking for a culprit, but with nearly every Slytherin here, finding the culprit was nearly impossible. She did however find Dawn sitting there looking furious. "Now what?" Catalina thought to herself as she got up, fought her way through the younger students and walked over to the Slytherin table with two plates of cheesecake.
Sitting down next to Dawn she heard someone shouting insults towards the Slytherins, nothing worth getting involved with though Catalina thought, Slytherins always seem to draw that kind of attention. "Happy Birthday!" Catalina said as she shoved a plate of cake in front of Dawn. "Yer present is up in te Common Room, ye haf' ter wait fer me ter get it ye kno?" Taking a bottle of butterbeer, Catalina popped it open and stuffed it into Dawn's hand. "Ye a header? tis yer birthday ye kno, what ye all mad fer? Tis Mary Hick ye kno?" Catalina then poked Dawn in the ribs playfully trying to force her to smile.

Cedric sat and watched as Justin tried to come back with a decent come back. Instead Justin gave him facts instead of a nice comeback. Cedric looked at Justin and when he was about to say something he saw applejuice go al over Evelyn. Cedric looked at her and immediatly felt laughter rising in his throat. Trying to hold it in he looked at Justin and said "Could you excuse me for a second." Then Cedric turned around and instantly everyone in the great hall could hear his laughter. Finally when Cedric was done he turned around and said to Justin "Well back to where we were. First they were going after people whos family betrayed the Dark Lord, but now Mr. Know it all, they will be going after mudbloods. And we all know which house has the most mudbloods. But then it keeps going. They will also be going after Harry Potters freinds. So the Gryffindors are screwed." Cedric looked at Justin with an evil grin.

Dawn sat, trying to contain herself from bursting out laughing as she felt someone sit down next to her. In a farmilar voice the person said "Happy Birthday." Turning around, keeping the angred look on her face, she saw it was Cat. "Hey Cat." she said as she brought the peice of cheese cake toward her. Picking up the fork from the plate she began to dig in. Dawn spoke up, "Out of the whole school, you were the only one today to say Happy Birthday. When I was in my room, before I got my owl to come down here. I was drawning a little 'charmed' pictured to give to my family. Since they Obviously forgot to sent me anything or give me anything. Not even a card." Dawn looked at Cat with her eyebrows raised in distress.
Justin started rainting behind her. Looking slightly over Cat's shoulder she saw Justin glaring down Dawn. Wondering why he was doing that she leaned back, to make full view of herself and glared right back. Turning her head back to her cheescake she started eating it again as she listened to Cat. "Ok if the school is cleared up my tomorrow or when ever, But Cat you deffinatly didnt have to get me a present. No one else did." Grabbing her already opened bottle of butterbeer she drank some of it. Looking over to Cat she said. "Eh, fever it feels like. Plus im all mad about my parents. I man Rachel is one thing but my own mother and Father!" she exclaimed dramaticly. Cat begain to poke her. "Stop! Stop!" she said in between groups of laughter. "Hahaha!"Grabbing Cats hands and took them away from her ribs. "Ok lets stop now." she said with a smile still retained from her laughter.

Justin loooked at Cedric as he had said something. Justin was about to say something when out of nowhere Cedric just cracked up. Justin was full of rage ,but he had to calm himself off. Instead of shuting up Cedric came back with another insult to his whole house. This time Justin did'nt play around and said " You foul , little ,scaniving idiot." Pulling his wand out as he went. He said " I should teach you a lesson , but this ai'nt the place to do it." And with that Justin said " I challenge you to a Wizarding duel."

Cedric looked at Justin with a smile still on his face. Cedric could tell he was getting to Justin and thats just what he wanted. When Justin pulled out his wand Cedric was just as quick in pulling out his. When Justin challenged him to a duel Cedric looked at him and laughed. Then Cedric stood up on a chair and looked around. "My fellow students. This poor boy has just challenged me to a duel. I am going to accept unless any of you wish to keep him at a healthy condition." Cedric said laughing. The only noise heard was an uproar of laughter from the Slytherin table. Cedric got down and looked at Justin and said "Well since no one cares if I hurt you I accept."

Justin could'nt take this without doing some damage. While Cedric was standing on the chair ,Justin pointed his wand at him and waited for him to step down. As soon as Cedric stepped down Justin let said " You and your girlfriend Dawn are annoying , eat this ,Cedric." and then he shouted "Flippendo!" and watched the blue spell erupt from his wand end. He then watched it fly torwards Cedric and he hoped it would hit him.

Dawn was sitting next to Cat enjoying her cheesecake when she heard Justin shout something about herself. Without a seconds noticed she turned around and stood up from her seat. "Dear boy! I do wish you didnt mean that. Girl friend... anything but!" she said with her wand clenched in her hand. "Do NOT bring me into your little brawl here! You Ickle Gryffindor! Trust me boyo, you do not what to get on my nor my family's bad side! Things will happen! To you and your Dear ol' mother! Im warning you!" Dawn roared as she pointed her wand at the young Gryffindor that seemed like he was the king of everything. Also had an ego that basically filled the whole room.
Dawn did nothing to Justin, but he must have seen what she did to his new girl pet. Dawn was actually "fine" with him untill this point. Shanking her head she saw Justin shoot a boil spell toward Cedric. Dawn waited to see how he would retaliate, before Dawn did anything.

"Oww! Hey stop t'at!" Catalina exclaimed as Dawn grabbed both of her hands. Wrestling her fingers away from Dawn, Catalina scooted away from her a bit to enjoy her cake in peace. "Yer mum and dad are goin' ter send ye sum presents soon ye kno, t'ey haf ter! Anyway, yer present is in te common room like I said, ye can get it w'en tis is all over. What ye goin' ter doin tis summer? I'm goin' ter go wit' me sister ter sum o' her practices, tis a nice area lots of fun t'ings ter do in Potree, ye want ter come?"
While waiting for a reply, more arguing broke out between Slytherins and Gryffindors. Feeling a bit uncomfortable, Catalina began to tap her foot nervously while looking around. Almost instantly, Dawn got up and began to yell at the Gryffindors. Her face now blushing, Catalina quickly turned back to the Ravenclaw table. "Er, Dawn.. my 1st years.... actin' te maggot....., got ter go... ye kno...?" she trailed off as she quickly got up and went back to the Ravenclaw table, not wanting any part of what was about to occur.

Evelyn slightly looked down at herself, she was soaked, yet not that mad, just a little dissapointed, but she showed no emotion, then she looked at Justin who had just offered the dual to Cedric and did not know what to say, so she turned to Cedric, and still she was speechless.
She walked over to the Gryffindor table, dripping, and relaxed somewhat. Evelyn thought over in her head about why she was angry about the juice incident, knowing someone did it on purpose, but the realized that was it, just a good practical joke, she grinned, thinking if she would have done it to someone she would have enjoyed it also.

Sydney watched from a distance what was happening to Evelyn, Justin, Cedric, and Dawn. "Oh my!" she said. Grabbing a biscut from in front of her she watched as Evelyn walked emotionaless back to the Gyffindor Table. Standing up from her seat and walking over to her she held out her wand, "Arefacio." she said calmly as All of the wetness from the jucie was gone. Sitting down next to Evelyn she grabbed two butterbeers. One or herself and one for Evelyn. "Are eu alright there?" she asked as she looked at Evelyn.

Evelyn felt a warm and dry sensation as Sydney said the spell, "Thank you very much Syd, I appreciate the kindness" Evelyn said, then hearing the question from Sydney, she answered, "I am fine just a bit tired from all the things going on around here" then Evelyn said "So what have you been doing today, anything exciting?" then Evelyn sat motionless waiting for her reply

Cedric looked at Dawn when she spoke. "Wait a second there Dawn Im not that bad looking. Anything but, yeah im sure you would like it Dawn." Cedric said confidently. Then when Justin shot the spell at him Cedric got hit but got up. "Oh you got me that time." Cedric said "But you wont again. Expellaramus." Cedric said pointing his wand at Justin.

Sydney smiled as Evelyn said thank you. "Oh no problem, I learned the spell this year in Charms. Wanted to see if I still had it in me!" she smiled. Taking a sip of her butterbeer she nodded her head to do something. "Yes, Tired would be the word. The attacks are Aubsurd! The second time this year." A frown appeared on Syd's face. She mumbled, "I hope Harry is okay." she said as she begain to bite her lip in worry. Evelyn spoke up as Syd brought her attention back to the two. "Today, oh no. Nothing really. I was packing my things up for the end of the year. I thought Dumbledore was going to let us out early from all the attakcs and what not, but I guess not. I was studing for my Owls too, Im worried about Potions. I heard it was hard." Sydney tapped her nails on her table as she put a straind of her red and brown hair behind her ear. "How about you? How are you and Justin?" syd asked with a smile.

"I do not know about Justin, he is bent on dueling with Cedric" she said in a wierd voice, "I love potoins, my mother is a proffesional potion maker, so I know quite a bit about potions" Evelyn said in a proud voice. She still wondered what Justin thought of her in the back of her head, just in a small voice not leaving, so to get her mind off of him she played with a biscuit, pulling tiny pieces off and setting them in her mouth slowly.

Walking into the Great Hall, Albus walked to the high table and held up his hands for silence. When he had everyone’s attention he began. “Tonight Death Eaters broke through the aurors defending the castle, but as we speak five Death Eaters are on their way to Azkaban. The Ministry will be here shortly to investigate, as such the school term will be ending tonight. I suggest that everyone return to their dormitories soon and begin packing. The Hogwarts Express will be leaving at precisely 10 tomorrow morning. Your parents have all received owls informing them.”
(( Hogwarts Express board will be up later tonight. If you have any posts still active, wrap them up quickly. Come tomorrow the school boards will be locked up until the fall term begins! ))

Justin watched as Cedric shouted the disarming spell at him and he reatliated with " Protego!" though the spell workehis wand went to the tips of his fingers. He managed to succesfully keep it in hand and the he shouted " Flippendo!"As he watched the red spell soar at Cedric he had a feeling that this was going to be fun.

Cedric watched as Justin blocked his spell. When Justin shot the spell at Cedric he just waved his wand and siad "Protego" and watched as the spell bounced off the sheild. "Nice Try." Cedric said smiling. Cedric pointed his wand at Justin and said "Relishio."

Justin had'nt blocked the spell in time ,so the bottom of his robes caught fire. He pointed his wand at them and said " Feu Résistez." which put out the flames. He then looked at Cedric and pointed his wand at him saying " Infantaneous!" and watched the clearish blue spell fly at Cedric.

Madam Hooch stood watch in the Great Hall with Madam Pince, and Pomfrey. The students seemed to be settling down soon enough. Anxious moments passed but it appeared as if things were going as well as could be expected given the circumstances. Walking along the Hufflepuff table, her hawk-like eyes caught a glimpse of light flashes to her right. Turning she saw two students dueling!? Quickly she ran over to the scene, “Expelliarmus! Expelliarmus!” She said twice and caught both students wands and placed both of them in her robe pocket. “Insidio! Insidio!” she again said twice at each student and forced them both to sit down on the floor! “Lionheart! Wood! What ARE you two doing!?” Madam Hooch said as she stood over of the two students. “Dueling! At a time like this!? 20 Points from both of your houses! And Wood I should have thought someone like you would have known better! This is a fine way to loose one’s spot on their house team! I will give your wands to your head of house and shall inform them of your behavior! Now both of you go sit at your tables, if it even LOOKS like you are getting up without permission you will have a months worth of detention when we return in the fall!”

Justin was suddenly hit with a spell out of nowhere. He saw the culprit and then he was forced to sit down. He found out the culprit and it was Madam Hooch. She had taken twenty house points form hisself and Cedric. SHe ordered to Gryffindor table and he went and sat across from Evelyn.
