Raina is five foot two inches tall, but has a tendency to wear higher heels so she can look a bit taller. Sprite like, her wispy frame almost makes her unhealthy looking. Like her older siblings, Raina has dark brown hair and eyes. Raina is very athletic even though her slight build doesn't show it.

Personality:[/color]
Raina is very tough being the youngest of the Miles' children. She is very level headed with an overly sharp wit. When she wants something, she is very bound and determined to get it. Being from a very well known quidditch family, Raina has grown up with some celebrity. She can seem a bit too prideful at times, but it is only because she is too sure of her abilities. Raina is overly confident. She knows she won't fail in any endeavor if she puts her mind to it. Raina is terribly stubborn as well. Once she sets her mind to something, it is hard to change it.

Raina was born on February 12th, 1995 to Korion and Michaela Miles. Raina has three older siblings. Wyatt, her oldest brother, has graduated from Hogwarts and now plays for the Wigtown Wanderers. Finn, a Hufflepuff, and Blayton, a Slytherin, are still attending Hogwarts. Unlike most families, each and every one of her siblings have been sorted into a different house. Because of this, they all have varying personalities. Raina is noticeably the most strong willed and independent of the children. She gets along well with her brothers, but Blayton and her are a different story. The house clashes have caused several nights of turmoil in the Miles' home However, the two do tolerate each other most of the time. Other than that, she has had a pretty normal childhood. She had parents who loved her, and she has never had to want for anything that was within her family's means. Raina has had a fairly normal upbringing compared to most of her pureblood counterparts.

Growing up, there was one basic rule in her home: Quidditch was life! Korian was a well known quidditch player, and his children were expected to follow in his footsteps. Raina had a broomstick before she could barely walk, she learned the rules of quidditch before her ABCs, and she could fly circles around most of her family before entering Hogwarts. She was determined to follow in the family tradition. Of course, that was before she met Cassandra Blackfire.

Like any impetuous first year, Raina had decided to try out for the quidditch team. There was no way she wouldn't make it. She was a Miles after all. Cassandra, the newly appointed team captain, took all of the wannabes through the rounds. It was grueling, but almost too easy for Raina. She laughed and asked for more. She was guaranteed a spot on the team in her mind. Raina was shocked the next morning though when the team roster was posted. Her name wasn't on the list. Angry, she stormed up to Cassandra to demand a reason why. Cass merely shrugged her shoulders, and said, "Qudditch isn't everything."

Ego bruised, Raina mulled over what Cass said for the next several days. It took her a while to realize that the team captain was right. Quidditch wasn't everything. There was more to life than the wizarding sport of champions. The youngest Miles had decided from that point forward that she could do anything she wanted. She didn't have to be stereotyped. Suddenly, anything was possible. It was then that she decided to devote her life to becoming a healer. Raina wanted to help people, and this was the best way she knew how. It was hard breaking the news to her father, but he grudgingly accepted the idea. Korion knew how determined his daughter would be to achieve her dream. There was no way to talk her out of it.
