Finn stands just above average height for his age, coming in just shy of six feet tall. He’s fairly fit too, the result of coming from a family which holds Quidditch in high esteem. His hair is dark brown, sometimes mistaken as being black, and its cut fairly short, though his sideburns extend just below his ears. He has warm, brown eyes which stand out against his pale skin color. He often forgets to shave, resulting in a light layer of stubble that sweeps across his cheeks and chin. Finn prefers comfortable clothes as compared to fashionable ones, meaning that you’ll most likely find him wearing a t-shirt and jeans. Normally, he can be seen with a slight grin, evidence of his fairly laid-back demeanour.

Finn is fun-loving but quite serious at times. He’s not too loud or extroverted, but he isn’t shy by any means. He doesn’t like standing out in front of a crowd, but he thrives on the company of others, evident by his having many people who he calls friends. He’s always thinking, something he has done since he was a child. He can’t seem to stop his mind from always going faster than he can keep up with. When he’s angry though, Finn tends to bottle up his anger, rather than letting people know. He doesn’t like to disappoint people, and he finds it hard to speak the truth when it doesn’t seem that it will cause a favorable outcome for others.
When it comes to loving, Finn is scared to death. He knows that his parents love him, but he’s not one to easily show his feelings. For that reason, he’s never been in a relationship and is quite scared of what to expect. Deep down though, he’s searching for love, but just doesn’t have a clue of what he’ll do when he finds it. After all, he is only seventeen.
Finn’s hobbies include Quidditch (though he’s not nearly as good as his father or Wyatt), playing the guitar, and being outside. He loves the rain, and enjoys swimming as well. In school, Finn’s best subject is Charms. He’s also decent at DADA and Transfiguration. He’s average at Potions, Arithmancy, and Care of Magical Creatures, but terrible at Herbology and Muggle Studies. He’s not sure what he wants to do after school, but he’s keeping his options open.
Overall, Finn can be quite random and unpredictable. He’s not exactly crazy, but he’s definitely not an open book. He’ll keep you guessing, but often keep you laughing. He’s loving life, and happy for each day.

Born to Korion and Michaela Miles on September 16th, Finn was the second of four children. He has an older brother by four years, Wyatt, who plays Quidditch for the Wigtown Wanderers of London, and was in Ravenclaw while at Hogwarts. His two younger siblings are both sisters. Blayton is a year younger than Finn, and she is in Slytherin. Raina, the youngest, is three years younger than Finn, and she is in Gryffindor. Overall, the four Miles children represent each of the four Hogwarts’ houses.
The Miles family isn’t your average family, and similarly, Finn isn’t your average teenager. Korion was a professional Quidditch player just like his eldest son Wyatt, but now he referees for the International Quidditch Association within London. Michaela is a jinx-reversal specialist who works at St Mungo’s. The family lives in a large masion located on the outskirts of London, and both Korion and Michaela have a lot of family that live nearby. It isn’t uncommon for the Miles’ mansion to be the host of many family parties and events.
Growing up, Finn found himself often being the center of his parents’ attention. Wyatt was always too busy practising Quidditch or studying, which meant that Finn often was the one getting into trouble. He’d lead his younger sisters on crazy adventures around the mansion, or at least until Blayton became old enough that she started to find Finn annoying and lacking the same interests as her. On the other hand, Raina was always rather close with Finn, and still to this day they share the closest bond of the Miles children.
