Physical Description: Celia is fairly tall-about 5”10. She is average weight for her height, if not slightly under. She has shoulder-length auburn hair, which naturally is slightly wavy, and that’s the way she likes it. She has bright brown eyes, which she is often told are one of her best features.
Biography: Celia was born on the 1st September 1982, to Mary and Harry Richmond. She has a younger sister, Amy, who was born in May 1990, who was also hoping to go to Hogwarts, like her sister and parents. She lives in a small village about 20 miles north of York in Yorkshire, in the heart of the countryside.
However, shortly after Celia’s 10th birthday, her parents went through what would lightly be called a ‘bad patch’, which ended up with shouting and arguments at home continuously, occasionally resorting to violence, against herself, her mother and once or twice her sister. Eventually her father moved out, for the good of the whole family. This meant that Celia had to choose between her parents, and very quickly chose to stay with her mother.
Celia is generally a lively girl, who loves the great outdoors, and playing sports and doing other activities with her friends and her sister. However, she also loves reading, especially fantasy novels, and she is a very bright girl-always top of her class at primary school, which was a small private school near to where she lives.
However, occasionally she does get depressed, and goes into shock and has nightmares, having flashbacks of her father’s violence, considering herself lucky that he never used magic against her. He was an auror last time she heard-she had not seen him much since he left. At these times she prefers to be left alone, in a private place of her own. However over the past couple of years these have become much less frequent.
Other interests she has include horse riding, and cycling. She is very enthusiastic about quidditch, and is the Ravenclaw vice captain, despite only joining the team at the beginning of her 6th year. She is a fairly friendly girl, when she’s not going through one of her shock stages, and has many friends. She is always up for a laugh, and she always have a good time on visits to Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley with friends.
She has really enjoyed her time in Hogwarts, having made several friends, some life-long, over the years. In her 5th year, she ended up getting to know Kyra Stone, and tried to help her with the situation she was in, trying to comfort her when she got into her deep depression. Now that Kyra has gone to Australia with her family, Celia is once again most concerned with the welfare of her own family. Shortly before she met Kyra, she hearn news that her father had returned after 5 long years and had attempted to attack her mother and take away Amy.
While getting to know Kyra, she also got to know Jamison Parson, who helped Celia throughout those difficult times. The pair soon became close friends, being in the same house, both being prefects (with Jamison becoming head boy in his 7th year) and both being on the quidditch team. They ended up spending a lot of time together, supporting each other and generally enjoying each other's company. Soon enough a mutual crush developed between them, though neither of them know of the other's crush. With Jamison's last days at Hogwarts, this soon changed with their last Hogwarts Express journey home...
In her OWL exams she achieved excellent grades...she gained Es in Potions, DADA and History of magic and Os in her other subjects at OWL level. She was not very strong in the Dark arts, and she didn't like potions due to the fact that Snape always shows favouritism towards Slytherins. She took NEWTs in the subjects she got Os in-Ancient Runes, Astronomy, Charms, Herbology, History of Magic, Muggle Studies and Transfiguration), and achieved Os in all but Astronomy and History of Magic in which she achieved Es. SHe is now working as a trainee in the Ministry of Magic, and hopes to advance through the ranks fairly quickly.
