Physical Description:
Quinn’s eyes are a bright slate blue, a colour she wears a lot to match them. Her lips are a light pink and small. Quinn’s skin is quite pale, thanks to liberal amounts of anti-burn potion.
Quinn stands at 5’4” with a petite build, perfect for the seeker she is. This results in people often being surprised by her sheer physical strength and she has to remind them of the hours and hours a day she spends at the gym for her training.
Her hair is a light brunette colour which she often has tied back in a bun in order to keep it as far from her face as possible while playing or training. She keeps it long though, so when she’s out and about in the “real world”, as she calls it, she can let it hang loose around her shoulders and feel it move.
Personality:
When asked to describe Quinn in one word most people would say “precise”. She is exact and determined and quite literally won’t take no for an answer when she’s got her mind set on something. Once a Slytherin always a Slytherin really, and Quinn can prove that with her cunning and ambition. Though she finished school years ago Quinn still subscribes to Slytherin ideals and superiority.
Quinn’s hobbies include playing quidditch and training for quidditch, she is very determined. She gained her current position as seeker by sheer will, showing up more and playing harder than the team’s last seeker. She will occasionally read, often go out with friends, and she can even dance; but her real passion is on the pitch. Her friends would tell her that she needed to get a life but she would just laugh and say being the best seeker in the country was the only life to be had.
That is not to say that Quinn is stone cold all the time, or even most the time. Quinn’s sense of humour is actually quite bubbly and flirtatious. She goes out with her girl friends at least once every weekend to catch up, chat about boys, and basically make fun of each other in a joking manner.
In fact, when the matter isn’t something Quinn considers of great importance she can be positively jovial, considering the outcome an adventure. When the matter is of great importance however… Quinn can be pushy, stubborn, and more than a little arrogant in order to get what she wants.
History:
Quinn grew up in Scotland with her parents and three older brothers, spending much of their time outdoors. Being the only female in this gang of boys Quinn never played with dolls much, wanting to be cool like her brothers. She was more likely to be playing with a broom than a hairbrush or hiding in a tree fort rather than playing house. When all her brothers were off at Hogwarts her mother would make an effort to “make a lady” out of her but Quinn would stoutly refuse, saying if Andrew, the oldest brother, didn’t play with ponies than she wouldn’t either. After she became a teenager Quinn became a lot more feminine, learning to take pride in her appearance and how to flirt with boys. But for those first few years she learned how to get what she wanted by force, not by guile.
Her time at Hogwarts was fairly uneventful. She and her gaggle of girlfriends would roam the school at night and spend far too long in front of the mirror like all the others but never got themselves into serious trouble. Quinn’s grades were about average, but she didn’t care because her real passion was quidditch; a game taught to her by her brothers when she was very young. Being the smallest in the family she would always seek, a position she kept when she went to school and auditioned for the house team.
Upon graduation Quinn was scooped up by the Falcons and put on their reserve team to sit on the bench bored and critical while the others got to play in the games. She smiled however, kept up a brave face, and pushed her way into the position of starting seeker. The old seeker was still around of course, just played less often and much later in the games. Her life began to revolve around the team, with some time thrown in for friends. She would go home to her two bedroom flat only to sleep, then wake-up and leave for the gym all over again.
