Dustin sat outside two large doors as he eavesdropped on what his mother was talking about with someone else. Normally Dustin could care less about what The Entourage did but lately her conversations with other members had turned into being about him. The first time he noticed he hadn't even mean to listen in but now he was trying to pay closer attention. Robbery this, loan money that or lets go push some stuff. It seemed to be the same business as usual but sadly it seemed to turn into being about Dustin once one of the men brought up his name. They all seemed to think he was this great leader who would finally take over The Entourage that even his mother hoped for but that was the last thing Dustin wanted. He didn't want anything to do with the criminal side of his family that he was forced to deal with.
Dustin sighed quietly and walked off towards his room but even there he wasn't safe. His sister Damara was on a rampaged lately since she got back from Hogwarts. There was just no pleasing the girl right now because she knew how the head members of The Entourage felt about who was next in line to run it all. Damara wasn't even on the list of choices for the simple fact that the girl couldn't control herself one bit. Dustin changed into a simple pair of jeans and a black shirt, which had basically become his default wardrobe where ever he went. It was much easier to go into anywhere magical in Muggle clothes then it was to walk around in a robe in the Muggle world. This also gave Dustin the choice of where he might want to go, being around Muggles from time to time was pretty entertaining.
As soon as Dustin left his room he heard his name being called from the same room his mother was in. Even though the house was as big as a mansion her voice seemed to cover every corner of the house. He wasn't sure if she enchanted it that way or if she was just really loud because both were very likely knowing his mother. He didn't feel like dealing with her now so he just decided it was best to escape now and deal with her later or hopefully deal with the family business never. The fireplace was right next to the room his mother was in so Floo travel was out and if he toke his broom he was going to have to carry it everywhere he went. That just left apparition which was always his last option for the simple reason that he never bothered to get a license and that his mother was the one who taught him and she was a terrible teacher.
He could hear her yell his name even louder and that was Dustin's cue to leave, He closed his eyes and focused on Hogsmeade, if he didn't find anything interesting there then he could Floo elsewhere if he needed. One last yell from his mother seemed to fade as the feeling of the weather around him changed along with the sounds. He opened his eyes and sighed slightly as he looked around. He was trying to get as close as he could to the three broom sticks but he now found himself in one of the many darker alleys of Hogsmeade. “Great, just great.” Dustin said in an annoyed tone and he looked for the way back to the main street of Hogsmeade. “This is the exact reason why I don't apperate.” He muttered as he thought out loud. These alleys were the last place he wanted to be, they had to many bad memories from when he was still allowed into Hogwarts.
Dustin finally made his way out of the alleys and back to the main street and luckily didn't have to deal with anyone who happened to be in any of the alleys he had to go through. “Your that Hemingway kid aren't you?” he heard from behind in, back in the alley; Dustin didn't even bother to turn around he knew he could never be that lucky. “Nope not at all.” he said and started walking away from the voice. “Yeah you are I used to sell you...” Was all the voice got out before Dustin turned around. “I'm not that person, I don't know you and I've never bought anything from you.” Dustin said in an unpleasant tone then turned around and kept walking. There was a couple people around him when he said that, that were now looking at him but he didn't care he just kept walking.
He kept walking towards the Three Broomsticks all the while still thinking about the guy in the alley, The truth was that Dustin did know him and used to buy things from him but that was a long time ago and Dustin was passed that now. Dustin finally made it to the Three Broomsticks and looked around and was surprised to see it wasn't that packed today which was odd for it only being nine. Dustin toke a seat by the bar and waited for the hostess to get to him, he could tell she knew he was there but she was trying to avoid him it seemed. “Listen I'm sorry for hitting on you last week okay, I won't do it again.” Dustin said with a slight smirk as he wasn't sure how true to his word he would be about that. She just looked at him then walked off for a bit. “Today is not my day.” Dustin said to himself as he looked down to the place where his drink should be.
