It was right after one of the most tiring, exhausting, but best games Gryffindor had ever played, and Zoey was totally bummed out. She laid, still in her robes, sprawled over a couch as a party lingered on celebrating their win, too tired and hurt too much, but with a goofy grin over her face. Part of that grin was a mix of pride in her team and herself for playing so brilliantly, but the other part and also the majority was from the stupid yet satisfying actions she had done infront of the many cheering fans to her best friend and fellow team mate, Danny McKay. She was really embarrassed and wanted to slap herself or something for her actions, but on the other hand, she really wanted to do it again. She smiled, but yelped and sat up as she covered her split lip with one hand and held herself up with another.
“I suppose that’s what I get for whacking myself with my own bat…” she giggled again, but then yelped for a second time. She saw two people staring before smiling and going back to their chatter. Zoey felt her cheeks flush red and she felt her lip begin to bleed again, so she ended up dabbing it with her already bloody sleeve. Deciding to go up to her room to find a cloth and change out of her Quidditch robes before they got to filthy, she managed to herself up painfully and begin to make her way through short steps, side steps and lots of ‘excuse me’s ‘ through the crowded and happy common room. She caught a glance of Danny’s hair and she began walking faster before accidentally almost knocking a girl over.
“Oh! Ah!” she gasped then yelped in response to her clumsy self almost running over the taller girl, and the pain in moving her lip too much. “I’m so sorry! Are you alright?” she asked, lowering her hand from her lip and reaching up to touch the girl on the shoulder. Zoey saw the girls face, realizing that the girl was actually younger than she was, despite her height, and it made Zoey feel a little embarrassed of her small height. She was a good four inches smaller than the girl, and yet, she looked two, maybe three years older.

Taylor was still so excited that Gryffindor won that she hardly even realize that someone knocked into her. Taylor said "Ya I'm fine." Taylor stood up and said "I'm Taylor its nice to meet you."
After a few short seconds she realized the girls lip was bleeding then at once she realize that it was Zoey. Taylor was watching as Zoey hit herself with the bat, so without thinking she moved to the Zoey's side and helped her sit down. Then Taylor went off to get a damp cloth for the Zoey's lip.
When she came back she found Zoey in the same place that she had left her, Taylor handed her the cloth and when she did so she know at that moment that this was going to be the start of a new friendship.

Zoey smiled in relief as she girl said she was fine and went on to greet her. “Hey, I’m Zoey.” She introduced, about to hold a hand out to shake with the girl, before the girl, Taylor, helped her take a seat, obviously seeing her lip. She shrugged, not really wanting the help, but appreciative of it since she was extremely tired, and wouldn’t have to trek up the stairs.
Taylor came back with a damp cloth and began dabbing her bleeding lip. It felt nice to have the cold against her lip. “Thanks Taylor, I’ll take it from here…” she smiled, gently taking the cloth and dabbing her own lip. “So, what year are you in?” she asked, raising and eyebrow and curious because of her height. Based off of her face, she looked younger than she was, but as Zoey was taught from her mother- never judge a book by its cover. As far as she knew, Taylor could be older than she was.

Taylor looked at Zoey and then at her feet. Taylor had never been shy in her whole life why couldn't she say something now? Taylor looked back up at Zoey and then decided that she would take a seat next to her on the stairs.
She was still feeling really nerves and didn't want to answer wrong. If she was talking to a friend and a question like this came up Taylor would answer with " I am in my second year." Taylor could tell that some time had gone by or at least it felt like it.
Finally Taylor said "It's my second year here.."
She want to ask a couple of more questions, but there where so many going though her head. Should she keep with something simple like whats your favorite subject or something more like what do you want to be when you grow up. But then she thought she would ask something like whats your favorite Qudditich team, because both of them enjoyed playing and watching Qudditich.
Taylor looked at Zoey and said " What is your favorite Qudditich team and player, Zoey?

Zoey asked her question as to what year Taylor was in, and she waited a response. She looked…her third year…Maybe second, but definitely not fourth, or else Zoey probably would have been familiar with her already, seeing as they would have had four years together in the same dormitory and everything. It was a little tricky guessing what year she was in, because her features, mainly her height, made Zoey second guess herself. Finally she answered and she gave a smile, nodding. “Ah…Young one.” She smirked and laughed playfully, hinting that she was kidding and joking with her.
The topic slid to Quidditch and she began thinking. She had to have meant professional Quidditch when she asked the team, because it was common sense that her favorite team in the school was Gryffindor. Answering this question was very tough though. Zoey was a half-blood, growing up with her muggle mother and then receiving news that she was a witch. She had heard of some teams like the Harpies and stuff, but not nearly enough to have a favorite team or player, and her father who had just came back barely ever talked to her, and when he did it was preaching his beliefs of blood purity and useless junk like that. “Er…” she started nervously, pulling on a sheepish grin. “Well, I’m a half blood, and I grew up with my mother, who’s a muggle, and my father wasn’t around… I know nearly nothing about professional Quidditch, and I know not a lot about Quidditch in general. Just the rules and stuff. Tactics and moves…I just guess.” She laughed a little at herself, thinking of how dumb she must sound, and how lucky she was to be good at the sport.

Taylor waited for awhile, and once Zoey replyed she thought for a moment then said "I understand" Taylor felt bad because she had no idea that Zoey was a half-blood. So as quickly as they got on to the subject she changed the subject.
"So" Taylor really couldn't think of a subject to change to. "What you want to talk about" this was the only thing she could think of saying because it felt as though she couldn't breath let alone think!

She could tell the Taylor was nervous or feeling bad about the question she had asked. It was sort of typical for people to think that since Zoey did so well on the field and then the surprising response. Zoey just pulled on a quick, assuring smile while taking the slightly red cloth from her lip and ignoring the pain. “Don’t worry about it, you were just curious. Anyways, I guess I should probably learn a thing or two about professional Quidditch, eh?” she asked, her slight German accent blending in her words. It was mixed with German and British, the German from her family and the Brit from well, the country and people she had been living around for quite some time now. What was it, ten to twelve years?
Zoey couldn’t help but laugh a little at Taylor’s nervousness and then at her question and attempt to spark a conversation. “Well…What do you like to do for fun?” Zoey asked, kind of curious and wanting to know all about the girl. Taylor seemed really nice and sweet…Maybe they could be friends, and maybe she could introduce Matthew, her third year Ravenclaw friend to Taylor. They’d hit off pretty well… she smirked to herself, but her thoughts of a young couple blew away as she remembered that blonde girl Matt had his eye on. She was a rather cute one, but way to innocent looking…Hopefully she could handle the dark side of Matt that she had seen last summer. She shrugged, deciding it wasn’t her problem and returning to Taylor to listen for her response.

Wellor sat there looking at the ceiling waiting to see if Zoey had anything else she wanted to say. About a minute had passed when Zoey finally asked "Well…What do you like to do for fun?” Taylor liked this question because then she might get to know Zoey more and Zoey would get to know her more.
Taylor was trying to think of what she wanted to say she could say she liked to play Quidditch but she had never been on an actual team. She only played when her sister and brother had free time. Taylor also really liked to read and play wizard chess so she answered with "When it is nice outside i really like to play Quidditch, take walks, explore, draw, and read under trees." Then after a couple of seconds she said " When it is raining or to cold to go outside i love to read, draw, and play wizard chess."
Taylor laughed after she said this because she has so many hobbies. Then to keep the conversation going she said "What do you like to do in your free time?"
Taylor looked up at Zoey and then this was the first time sherealizedd that Zoeydidn'tt look that much oder than her in fact she almost thought for the moment that they were in the same year. Taylor really hoped that Zoey and she would become friends and that she would have someone to talk to.

Zoey smiled as Taylor explained what she liked to do. It wasn’t far off from her hobbies- except for wizard chess. Zoey had been officially introduced and living in the wizard world for four years, and she still to this day- had no idea how to play wizard chess. It was like chess, she knew that, but she didn’t even know how to play that! She smiled slightly, ignoring the soft but sharp pain from her lip as she did so, when Taylor finished.
“Well…I love Quidditch,” Zoey smirked at the obvious. “I’ve actually only been playing since late last year, but I suppose that I’m a natural.” She shrugged, letting herself be proud of herself for a second. “I also like exploring and drawing…And talking with other people and stuff. But no matter the weather, I love Quidditch.” She nodded, taking a strand of her curl black locks in her fingers and playing with it. “So Taylor, where are you from?” she asked.

Taylor sat there listening to Zoey as she talked. She was nodding her head every once in awhile to make sure that Zoey know that she was still listening as Taylor sat there she thought to herself a little bit, she loved the fact that Zoey was being so nice to her but other than Zoey she had no other real friends but as she tried to ignore that fact.
Taylor heard Zoey ask her a question so she thought for a moment then came up with the answer. Taylor said, "I am from London i leave just outside the town. My parents own a manor that we leave in, it is rather nice." Taylor pause for a minute thinking about what else to add then she decided to give a tad bit of a better description, "We have some wild horse that roam in the meadow behind our house, a herb garden to the left of the house, and my old wooden swing set in the front yard. We leave rather old fashion even though we are pure bloods my mother still likes to leave like a normal person. I know that they are called muggles but i hate saying that it feels so degrading," Taylor added to the reply.
Taylor looked back at the floor and saw the shadows of people, they had just won the Quidditch game so everyone was so excited running around and just celebrating. This would have been the prefect time for Taylor to make friends, but having on good friend was better than having a million fake friends in her book. She turned back to Zoey and said, "So what is your house like and where do you leave. Zoey?" Taylor asked then smiled cheerfully.
