Going down to the Hufflepuff common room after a satisfying dinner. Pink realized he had forgotten his bag up in the Great Hall. Walking back in a quick pace. He slowed his walk to take in all the wonderful decorations along the corridors. He slowly got back to the Great Hall picking up his bag, he stopped for quite a while and admired the many trees decorated with many ordimants, many of them were as tall as the hall itself. After awhile he fell out of his daze and continued to make his way to the common room.
When he got their he dropped his bag which people sometimes laughed at him for having, it was full of patches that had muggle bands on them he did have one with the Hufflepuff emblem and another with the Chudley Cannons, his and his father's favorite quidditch team, which flew around his bag as if it was in the middle of a quidditch match. When he got their he changed into his favorite t-shirt (Jimi Hendrix) and into some pajama pants. Grabbing his book and walking back down into the common room he sat down in one of the good chairs by the fire and began reading.
By eight the common room was packed with students who were getting ready to call it a night. Only he and a few other students looked like they were going to be there for a while still. Pink was one of the few. He had been there since after supper and was probably going to be there for awhile longer. His gaze broke away from his book and floated lazily to the fire. Pink suddenly felt a blanket of comfort and security fold around him. Slowly he felt his eyes close and sleep envelope him.
Pink awoke a few hours later by a loud popping from the fire. Jumping a little he saw the fire kindling away and the security and comfort leaving him. Back in reality he felt very awake and alert. Looking and the grandfather clock in the corner as it chimed ten o'clock. He turned back to his book.
