“Bored is the way I feel today. Bored is how I am in every way. Bored is all I have to say. Off I go to make it go away.” Weird expressions and awful looks is all Danny got as he said his terribly awful poem. Danny just smiled back at them not caring one bit; classes were over for the day and what he said was true. He was truly bored out of his mind and his poem did seem to help, he was getting a kick out of the looks on peoples faces, even people he knew looked a little weird but they should have been used to this already. Then again bad poems about how bored you are don’t seem to go along well with hallways full of people where most of them don’t even know you.
Danny thought it best to get out of there before he burst out into random poetry again just like a minute ago; He had something to test outside anyway and he didn’t want to get distracted. It was nothing special he just wanted to try something out. Just a curious thought that passed through his head as he sat in the common room looking out to the lake. He hummed an odd little tune ,which he himself had no idea which note would come next, as he headed for the front door to the lake. Danny was almost there now with only a few turns left till the door, he was still humming; it sounded so familiar but he didn’t know where he picked it up at. Danny was in his normally good mood but he could have been happier then normal, it was hard to tell with him.
Danny stopped humming as he reached the door and sighed remembering his last couple run ins with it. Danny opened it going outside, it was a really nice day to Danny. It was cloudy but it didn’t seem like it was going to rain, nice and breezy and not hot at all. It would have been a great day to swim but he was on a mission and not going to get distracted. Danny walked along the lake to a lone tree away from most of the other students outside; it was a perfect spot for what he wanted to do. Danny climbed the tree and sat on a branch that still had a clear view of the Gryffindor common room tower.
Danny had picked this tree and spot just for the way it viewed the common room, without it he would never have gotten this random idea that now obsessed him. Danny pulled his wand out of his pocket and looked at it for a second then smiled. “Here goes nothing.” He said with a laugh as he pointed at the Gryffindor common room window. “Accio doll!” Danny yelled with a few flicks of his wand. Danny kept pointing at the common room but still nothing; He had left it on the window and left it open so it shouldn’t have trouble getting out. Danny kept focused on it like his book said he should but was starting to doubt it actually worked. Suddenly a tiny speck came into view, it was coming fast and was getting bigger; which just made Danny smile bigger.
He reached out to catch it but it seemed to fly right around his hands and go right for his face, almost knocking him down from the tree. Danny just laughed looking at what he had just summoned; it was a normal doll Danny had created but he also put on a red cape on it’s back. It wasn’t anything special but it was important for step two of his random mission. “Are you ready my friend?” He asked the doll jokingly as if he was expecting an answer. “Well too bad!” He added with a laugh then threw it into the air. “Locomotor doll!” Danny said pointing his wand at it and the doll stopped falling and just froze in the air. “O this will be fun.” Danny said with a smirk; it was something you would have seen on a mad genius as he explained some evil plan.
“Now go my puppet!” He yelled hiding in his tree looking around, he pointed his wand at his first victims, the doll followed the wand where he pointed. The doll flew just above some first years, scaring them as it passed. They started to move away but Danny just had the doll slowly follow them, bobbing in the air as it did. The two first years toke off running now for the front gate Danny followed them till he felt he might have lost control of it, he had it come back to the tree as he looked for someone else. It would have been an odd sight to see, some small doll with a cape floating by a tree.
