“No....not yet, please.” Dustin muttered to himself as he rolled in bed, the light from the window was perfectly aimed right at his face. “Just a few more hours, it's all I ask.” He muttered once again as he buried his face into his pillow. Dustin realized now that there was no fighting it, he was awake whether he liked it or not. With a loud sigh he rolled out of bed and yawned while stretching. He surveyed his room real quick and one thought ran through his mind, he didn't remember coming home last night. He remembered being out with some people drinking then things slowly got blurry till he couldn't remember anything after. On top of being confused on how he got home his head also felt like someone had hit him with Bludger and a Bludger bat at the same time. He smirked as he rubbed the back of his head, he had no memory of most the night so it was quite possible that, that might have happened.
Dustin stumbled to the bath room and looked in the mirror, he looked fine. Aside from looking tired he didn't look hurt in anyway so he must have just drank a little to much last night. As soon as he was done making sure he wasn't hurt from the night he couldn't remember Dustin toke a shower and got changed into a different set of cloth. Dustin yawned again as he left his room and entered the rest of the house which he tried to stay out of the best he could. One day he planned to get his own place, somewhere around Diagon Alley maybe or in Muggle London. Till that day came he was going to be stuck here, his home schooling was over so the only reason he hadn't moved out yet was because of his natural laziness and his little brother.
As Dustin walked around the house he couldn't help but notice how quiet it was, which wasn't normal at all. His sister Damara was always yelling about something or there was at lest some noise going on in the house but it seemed she was out from how quiet it was at the moment. Dustin made his way to the kitchen and found his littler brother Vincent eating cereal which started to make Dustin hungry. “Where's it?” Dustin said with a smirk as Vincent looked up, he looked tired as well. “She's out with mom doing something. They wouldn't tell me.” Vincent said in his normal meek tone then started eating again. “Girl stuff probably, you don't want to know.” Dustin said with a laugh as he left the kitchen leaving his brother slightly confused as he went back to eating.
Dustin's smirk faded as he walked away, he knew it wasn't girl stuff at all. It was probably Entourage business, which annoyed Dustin down to his very core. His mother was dragging Damara into a life of fighting, killing and stealing and she was more then willing to follow. While Dustin on the other hand was running as far as he could away from all this and into his own life and hopeful Quidditch career but for now he was just working at a Quidditch shop. A Quidditch shop that he was actually already late to be at, Dustin hurried to Fireplace and Floo traveled to work hoping no one would notice how late he was. All his hoping didn't help at all, Mr. Thurston was still waiting to yell at him which Dustin was used already.
The rest of the day seemed to pass by pretty quickly till around lunch, Dustin was left standing around bored in the front of the shop as Thurston went to get something to eat. Worse yet Ava hadn't showed up to work today but Thurston didn't seem upset so she must have requested the day off. Now he was going to be alone for pretty much the rest of the day, Thurston always spent forever at lunch. Dustin stood there in the middle of the shop and looked around with a sigh, it was empty. Just as he thought that he heard the door open and he turned to see a girl standing there. “Finally something to do.” He thought as he smiled and turned to face the girl completely. “Hi, I'm Dustin anything I can help you with just ask.” Dustin said with a smile then laughed slightly. “Also anything not Quidditch related I'd love to help too.” He added as his smile slowly turned into a smirk.
