Walking down Diagon Alley, Ville had most of his supplies all he had left to buy were his cauldron, his wand, and his books. Having a hard time finding Olivander's and Flourish and Blotts. He decided to stop by Mullpepper's to pick up his cauldron and potions ingredients.
Walking up and down the street apparently lost (for his parents had to go and help his little sister find a pet), he finally decided to ask some one where he could find Olivander's.

Sierra stood in the middle of the alleyway, a bit flustered with the list in her hands. It seemed that each year, the list of required books, supplies, and other random necessities only got larger. It was hard to believe she'd be in her sixth year at Hogwarts.
Making a mental check of each thing she had accomplished, she realised that all that was left to buy were her books. And, with a tired sigh, she counted that there were ten of them in total.
She swiftly weaved through the crowd of people, on her way to Flourish and Blotts, before stumbling across a smaller boy who seemed lost and alone. "Can I help you?" she asked, the more concerned side of her coming to the surface.

"Can you tell me where Florish and Blotts is?" Ville nervously asked a student that looked like they knew where they were going.

Lyli yawned and then looked to her mother who was as always, beside her but somewhat wandering. "Mum?" she said, trying to bring her somewhat back to reality. "Yes dear?" her mother answered as always, looking at Lyli with her brilliantly grey-blue eyes. "I'm going to head toward Flourish and Blotts, could you stop but the- Ugh, the place with the cauldrons..Um-" Lyli began, forgetting the name of the shop. "Don't worry darling, yes I will." Kaitlyn smiled at her before walking in the opposite direction. Lyli began walking again.
She passed a boy, looking in his first year or so, asking an older girl where Flourish and Blotts was. She felt like passing him, trying to stay out of his business, but being Lyli, she had to help. "Erm, excuse me, but Flourish and Blotts is down this street and to the right. I'm heading there myself." she said, smiling politely at him and to the girl. She blinked, looking down. "Oh, uh, silly me, I'm sorry if I was interrupting anything." she said, her fair cheeks turning a bit pink with the feeling of embarrassment.

"Thanks," said and excited Ville "I'm Ville by the way, but everyone just calls me Valo after the muggle singer."

"Well..." Sierra was about to answer the young boy's question when another younger student seemed to appear from nowhere and provide him with the guidance he needed. It seemed that the lot of them were all headed in the same direction. Sierra smiled. "No need to apologize," she said. Sierra wasn't one to get angry that easily for the smallest things.
The young boy finally introduced himself. "Nice you meet you, Ville. I'm Sierra Greene. I can't say that I know which singer you're referring to though," she admitted. Sierra wasn't very up to date on her knowledge of singers, let alone muggle ones at that.
"And you are?" she asked, turning back to the younger girl who seemed at least a bit older than Ville. "I assume we're all going to Flourish and Blotts for the same reason. It's that time of year to pick up books for Hogwarts. Are you a first year, Ville? Or... Valo, I guess I should say."

Lyli looked up to the older girl and gave a small smile in relief. She hated when people were mad, and especially mad at her. She turned back toward the younger boy, introducing himself as Ville, and then his nickname. She looked at him, a bit confused. "I-I'm sorry, I don't know much about the singer either. I barely know anything about muggles." she said shrugging. "I bet he's good." she said, nodding.
Then the older student introduced herself as Sierra Greene. Greene... The last name was oddly familiar. She remembered it was the last name of the Hogwarts professor, Professor Greene. But then, it was a good possibility that they weren't related, because Greene was a semi-popular last name.
"Oh, I'm Lyli Adams." Lyli introduced herself, nodding. "So, erm, what house are you in, Sierra?" she asked, curious. She wasn't in Hufflepuff, or else she would have surely known Sierra's name, or at least her face. She blinked, shaking her head. "Oh, I'm sorry to exclude you, Valo, do you know what house you'd like to be in?" she asked, trying to include him too.

"Yeah," said Ville smiling. "First one in the family."
Being the first in his family to go to Hogwarts he decided to use his summer to study the history of Hogwarts and the four houses. But when he was asked what house he wants to be in he was caught off guard.
"Um..." Ville said, " Ravenclaw probably or maybe Hufflepuff, either would be fine with me." Ville finally said after an awkward ten seconds of silence.

She smiled. "Well, hopefully it'll be Hufflepuff! Then we could see each other a lot. And Ravenclaw's good too, I suppose. They are super smart." Lyli said. "Well, how about we get going to Flourish and Blotts, eh? I need to get my books for this year, my third year." she said, turning around.
"Valo, would you like me to help you with your things? I could show you the stores and help you." Lyli offered, remembering how scared she was, wandering Diagon Alley, but at least she had her mum. Ville didn't seem to have anyone, unless, like her, they had set off to help with another part of the list or something.

"Even if it's not Hufflepuff I'll still see you in the corridors and stuff." said Ville smiling at the thought of having a third year friend.
"Thanks," said Ville "but all I've got left to buy are my books and my wand."
