Diagon Alley was a usual place for Dawn to be seen. She met people there for business; meetings, trading, and her purchases mostly took place in the busy streets or inside the businesses along the cobblestone. Dawn was comfortable with the people in Diagon Alley and seemed to be a good common place to meet. Also, if she needed anything, she could buy it while she waited for her next scheduling to begin. However, today wasn't a normal business day. She was in the streets of Diagon Alley to do some personal wandering. She wanted to pick up a few things for her den, as well as possibly a gift for Cole, her fiance. The two of them had just gotten past a difficult point in their relationship and Dawn was seeing the light at the end of the tunnel for them. She figured treating him to something special was long over due. Not knowing exactly what to purchase, for her beloved- she decided to take her time on her decision.
Her first stop would be at Gringotts Bank. She didn't carry around money with her very often. Her private trades with her personal business were completely off the record, and done through certain amounts of trust. Money wasn't the ideal amount of reciprocity, it was power. And as a strong Witch or Wizard, you know there is no amount of money that could create unfathomable power- that most people in the wizarding world sought out for.
Walking up to the large, snow white, marble building, Dawn pushed open the front door to walk into the lobby. Her heels clicked the floor as she made her way down the small hallway into the main lobby. The main lobby was dressed in white marble just like the outside. Several goblins stood at doors talking to the person in front of them. In a place like Gringotts, Dawn wasn't given special treatment. Dawn respected that. It was bank, something she wouldn't want to be tangled up in if someone was suspicious on her special treatment. Pulling at each of her fingers, she pulled off her dark leather gloves and folded them into her pocket. She stood looking around for a free goblin and door so she could be accompanied on her way down to her vault. Eying up a free door, Dawn greeted the goblin with long wooden box. It was about the size of a bracelet box, but bore a lock on the front. It held her key for a vault that had been passed down from her father to her. The goblin nodded with understanding as he turned and opened the door. The two made their way through the door, and down several levels to her personal secluded room in the bank.
After a few minutes passed, Dawn and the goblin emerged from the same door. She carried her wand in her hand, since she just used it to take her key and place it back home, safely; as well as making the bag of money she just took out smaller so it would be easier to carry. Pocketing her wand. She nodded in thanks to the goblin as she took out her gloves from her pocket. Her heels began to echo the vast room as she started to cross the floor while fitting her hands in the tight leather gloves.
((OOC: I understand Heather's job is a Curse breaker at the bank, but I figured they might bump into each other as Dawn was leaving or something of the sort. Any questions, PM me. )
