((Please be advised. This is a PG13 post. Also, all GModing has been approved by Julian. Enjoy!))
"Julian! Julian! I can't believe you left me in here alone!" Cass fell back on the queen size bed that took up most of her room. It was weird. Julian and Cassandra had been inseparable the several months following the dare that Julian so readily handed to her. She couldn't let him win. Oh no, Cassandra had made it as hard as possible on the Slytherin. She was downright mean to the boy as he followed her in and out of Hogwarts like a lap dog. Most days, he had been waiting languidly outside of her classes as soon as she exited the room. She did her best to ignore him, and it worked well for a time. Then, one day as she left Transfiguration, she noticed that Julian wasn't waiting for her. Not worried, she went on to Ancient Runes. This went on for several days, and Cass had noticed his disappearance. She finally confronted him several days later at his House table during dinner one evening. Angry, she confronted Julian with the full force of her temper, and demanded to know where he had been. Julian merely stood up and walked her out of the Great Hall while everyone watched.
"It seems you can't take a little bit of your own medicine, Cassandra," Julian said to her in the empty marble foyer. She had melted the instant he said her name. They had kept their relationship under wraps since then, but they were always within close proximity of the other. The Gryffindor had actually been quite upset when she loaded her trunk on the Hogwarts' Express to head back to London. She hadn't seen Julian at all on the way home. It was only after she had gotten home and unpacked her trunk into her London flat that she saw him again. As she lay on her living room couch reading a book, the door bell rang. Cass, in her holey tshirt and sweats, ran to open the door expecting the pizza delivery guy. Julian stood in front of her with a dozen roses and a basket of food. He hadn't left the flat since that night. Liam's family medallion now lay on top of her highboy chest of drawers forgotten.
She heard Julian holler something from the kitchen, and it sounded like 'hold your horses.' Turning over onto her stomach, she grabbed her book off the bedside table. Cass was wearing a powder blue tank top with matching silk boxer shorts. The two had decided to stay in bed all day together, and Julian had finally called a dinner break. Before she could argue with him, he got up, put on a green pair of boxer shorts, and went to the kitchen. She answered his mumbled response. "But, I want you here! With me! I'm lonely and my book can't keep me warm!" Another mumbled response. "Well, if you don't hurry, I'm going to go find Liam. You know I've got two of you on the chain!" She giggled. Truthfully, she hadn't heard from Liam since school let out, but she had tried. Liam wasn't returning calls. Soon, Cass quit trying.
Deep in thought, Cass didn't hear the ringing doorbell. "Julian, did you hear something?" Another muffled answer she couldn't decipher. "I didn't think so." She mumbled to the empty room. A few moments later, she heard Julian's heavy footsteps across her hardwood floors. Julian Fallon's handsome physique was soon leaning casually in the doorway with a plate in his hand. "Took you long enough. I thought you went to get a snack, not to cook a seven course meal," she teased affectionately.

Julian had not enjoyed his trip home. He forced himself to board the train and leave Hogwarts without seeing Cassandra. He was determined to give her a dose of her own medicine, and she wasn’t taking it very well. He could even recall the outburst that she had before they had left the castle when he quit waiting for her outside of her classes. He had to show her that even though he was acting like a puppy on a string, that she didn’t have him on as short of a leash as she thought at the time. If she wanted to ignore him, even though they had been keeping their relationship quiet at the time, then it was only fair that he do her the same way. They were still going through the terms of the dare, and Julian wasn’t really prepared to give in to Cassandra just yet. He had noticed that she wasn’t trying as hard anymore to see Liam. Maybe she’s starting to see him for what I think of him at least. Julian thought to himself.
The trip home was hard enough. His father asked Julian about his family ring upon his arrival. Julian only assumed that his father had noticed it was missing when they embraced in a welcoming hand shake. Julian explained to his father about the dare, and about the girl. Going into details of how he hoped that even after the dare that he would be the one in Cassandra’s heart instead of that Angelus boy. His father couldn’t help but laugh and he asked the girl’s name. Julian told his father Cassandra’s full name and asked his father if there was something significant that he needed to know about this before he went to visit her. His father told him that there was nothing that he needed to know about Cassandra’s family that he didn’t already know. Julian knew that his father had been friends of Charles Blackfire and that Charles was Cassandra’s uncle. Julian left most of his belongings packed in his trunk, and informed his family that he was going to see Cassandra at her flat in London. His father laughed and asked if he needed any extra money. Explaining that he had plenty of wizarding money, he did ask his father if he had any muggle money on hand, as even though they were a very dignified pureblood family, he didn’t think apperating outside Cassandra’s door would be wise. Archer went into his study and came back with some muggle money, telling Julian to use it wisely so that they wouldn’t have to make useless trips to Diagon Alley to get any of the wizarding money exchanged. Julian agreed that he would, and made his way toward the door. Mercie calling behind Julian that she would let Tallon out of his cage and take care of him. Julian hugged his mother just before he left.
A few stops were required before Julian arrived at Cassandra’s. A dozen beautiful red roses and a basket full of food so that they would be able to eat, and Julian was on his way. He had already picked up a bottle of Cassandra’s favorite wine before he had stopped at the store. Julian had to surprise her. He wanted to show her that he had not been mad at her but only giving her a taste of her own medicine. Before Julian realized it, he was standing outside of Cassandra’s door holding roses and food. He was sure he was prepared for the visit. He took a deep breath and then rang the bell wondering to himself why he couldn’t bring himself to tell her that the dare had just been a way for her to get to know him better and to see that he wasn’t the horrid Slytherin that she thought he was. He admitted to himself that she meant more to him than just winning this dare. Julian hid his face behind the roses knowing that Cassandra would be surprised that he was standing at her door.
Julian had owled his parents already to let them know he had made it safely to Cassandra’s, and that he just couldn’t bring himself to leave. He reminded them not to think badly of him, as he knew too well of his own mother’s past. He wasn’t sure how long he would stay at Cassandra’s and as long as he was welcome, the time length didn’t matter. His ring still on her finger, and that horrid medallion on the highboy where it was more out of sight out of mind, Julian had to smile to himself. He was finally unable to pass by the hunger pains that ran through his stomach. He needed a dinner break, and wasn’t going to let Cassie argue him out of eating. He had to keep his strength, and doing without food wasn’t going to help him do that. Making his way to the kitchen, he thought about the food in the basket that he had brought to her house with him. He wondered what he had brought with him that would make a decent dinner or snack for her and him. He thought about the many vegetables that he had filled the basket with. There was enough in there to make a really delicious salad. He even had the stuff for a nice vinaigrette and fruit dressing. The idea was amazing and would be easy to make. He began chopping the tomatoes, onions, and lettuce; all while eggs boiled to perfection on the stove. He shredded the fresh block of cheese glad that he had taken the time to put everything in the fridge before their evening had really even began. At least everything was still fresh so that the lettuce wouldn’t be brown. Checking the eggs and seeing that they were done, Julian fished around the kitchen for the perfect size bowl for a wonderful two person tossed salad. Hearing Cassandra yelling, he couldn’t help but to tell her to hold her horses. Mixing all of the vegetables together, making sure to add the eggs and cheese as he mixed them together, he reached for the croutons and bacon bits. Putting those in small separate bowls, he placed everything, including the large bowl of salad and a few different types of dressing, each in their own pouring jar, onto a large white oak serving tray. Adding plates and silverware, two goblets that he had found in Cassie’s cabinet and the wine in an ice bucket to keep it from getting hot, to the serving tray, he was sure that the dinner was ready. Rolling his eyes as she yelled something about going to find Liam, he hoped that she would understand what was taking so long.
Lifting the tray and the ice bucket all in one took Julian quite a bit of talent so that he wouldn’t spill anything, but he managed. He carefully made his way across her hardwood floors with a snack that he considered fit for the princess in the other room. He heard the door bell ringing but decided to ignore it. “No, I didn’t hear anything.” He replied to her question. He grabbed a candle that was on a small table just before he entered Cassandra’s bed room. Leaning into the door way with the food, he laughed at Cassandra’s remark. “I thought you might be hungry as well. I can’t continue to keep you warm on an empty stomach, Darling. I brought food and wine, and romantic candle light.” He said smiling. Looking at her in her lingerie, he wanted to put down the food and leave it at the door, but his stomach was reminding him that he couldn’t keep going without any food in his stomach. “We really should eat this. I wouldn’t want it to go to waste since I had worked so hard on it, and left you waiting in here so long.”

"More wine? Haven't I already gotten into enough trouble with you because of wine? I never thought I was going to get back into the castle that night." Cass rubbed the bed beside her inviting him back to the bed. "Well, bring it to bed. You promised that we would spend the whole day here. I haven't gotten to be this lazy in a long time." She waited for Julian to join her. Cass waited for him to fill the wine goblets. "Wow, where did you find these? I'm surprised I actually have something this nice in my cabinets. Lust asked me how I was able to entertain properly with my ragtag dishes and cups." She drunk deeply, nearly emptying the glass. "Lust sends a house elf over every few days to clean the place, and last time he was carrying several large boxes. I bet this was what was in them."
They ate in silence for a few moments. "Okay, maybe I did need something to eat. I was feeling a little faint, but I just figured it was because you were here." She smiled sweetly as she put the food and plates out of the way on the floor. She dusted her hands together and laid against the pillows. "So, what should we do now? I think we've been bad enough already. I mean, my family will die the moment they find out that you've been here all week. I'm glad I'm not trying to impress them." She rolled onto her side. "So, what do we do know? We've been doing what I've wanted to do all day. I'm tired of making decisions. It's just way to hard on me." She stuck her lip out and pouted. "It's your turn to make the decisions." It got quiet while neither of them spoke. She started stroking the Fallon ring that was on her left ring finger. "Well, now that I think about it...," she trailed off for a second, "I guess I don't need this for collateral anymore." She took the ring off and offered it back to Julian.

“I didn’t bring the wine this time for the same reaction that it got last time. It was simply a gift this time. We nearly escaped severe trouble the last time that we enjoyed the same wine.” Julian laughed remembering what had happened the last time that he had shared a bottle of this same wine with Cassandra. “The goblets were in the back of the cabinet. Apparently hidden in case you had a fit and wanted to throw something.” Julian wasn’t sure if he should mention that the door bell had rang while he was bringing their food back to bed, but he decided it was for the best not to. Maybe whoever it was would just go away and let them have one more day alone.
The sounds of crisp lettuce being crunched was all that could be heard in the room for several moments, there were occasionally small tinks as forks hit the bottom of the bowls, but neither of them spoke. “See I knew you were hungry. There’s no way we could have stayed in bed all day without a little something to eat.” Julian smiled as Cassandra moved the food and plates out of the way, “I would have gotten those and taken them back to the kitchen.” He put the plates out of his mind when Cassandra asked what they should do since they had eaten. Many impure thoughts ran through Julian’s head, but he decided against them. He had already been in bed with Cassandra all day, and wasn’t willing to blow the peace and quiet that they were sharing now. “Are you sure you want me making decisions?” He asked taking a slow sip of wine. “There are many things I could think of doing. But we agreed to do what you wanted to do for the day, and that was spending the day in the bed. The day isn’t over yet, unless you absolutely want to do something else. I’m content staying in bed for now.” Julian leaned back, fluffy pillows under his back and his head resting on the head board. He couldn’t say that he hadn’t enjoyed his week at Cassandra’s and that he had been enjoying his day being lazy.
A wide lazy grin came across Julian’s face as he noticed Cassandra playing with the Fallon ring that had been on her left ring finger for the last few months. His grin changed as she took the ring off. “I wasn’t expecting you to give it back. You can keep it.” Julian didn’t want to see Cassandra without His ring on her finger. There was just something about it that felt right. Even if this thing between them was just a fling, she still deserved the ring. Granted he had not given up on his dare, he had kept his word and not told a soul about their relationship. Julian looked at the ring that Cassandra was holding, “Put it back on your finger. I just don’t want it back. I’ve grown used to knowing that you have it.” He wouldn’t explain to her his feelings; he couldn’t until he knew how she felt. He wasn’t sure how long that would take, but he was willing to play her game until he could find out. “We could go out to a movie later tonight. Only if you want to though.” Julian was trying to change the subject, and he wasn’t hiding it. That medallion needed to stay on the highboy, and the Fallon ring on her finger. That was the way in his mind that it had to be.
((sorry it took me all night.. the inspiration hit me late at night.))

"Movie? A movie?! I haven't been to a muggle movie in forever. Do you even know what a movie is?" She smiled up at him. "I doubt there is anything is showing. Most movies don't interest me at all, but if it sounds like a good idea we can. I am getting a little bored. There isn't much interesting in this big old bed of mine," she teased. Getting up, she slipped the Fallon family ring back on her finger. She thrust her hip out and examined the ring. She was getting bored; so, she figured it was time to throw Julian off for a second. "Wow, for such an important family heirloom you don't seem to care much about it." Cass took it back off and examined it in her palm. "This is probably a cheap imitation of the real one." She gave him a hard, steady look. "Well, that does it. You have already tried to mislead me."
With as much determination as she could muster, she stormed off to the adjoining bathroom. She walked over and examined the toilet. "Hmmm, I can even tell a man was here. The seat is up." Cassandra then held the ring over the bowl. "I figured it was worthless. Just as worthless as a Slytherin's promise." At this last remark, she couldn't help but let a little smile cross her face. Damn, the facade was over now. He would know she was only joking.

A single candle was all that illuminated Pyro’s face as he studied the contents of the letter before him. He sighed in weariness and rubbed his eyes, running a family was no easy matter, especially when a lot of the families doings were “Hush hush.” With an irritated twitch Pyro flicked the letter into the nearby hearth, reminding himself to start a fire later and burn the letter, he would reply to it later when his mind was fresher. Pyro’s mind drifted into recent events and he was surprised to find that he drifted back to the day he had met Cassandra at the ministry during the Animagus registration. Something during that conversation had always stuck with him, though Cass probably didn’t know how much it haunted him. It seems like you are stepping into Charles shoes well. These words continually floated back out to him as he relived that meeting.
Was it true? Was Pyro really becoming the exact man he had hated and murdered? Pyro was stronger, much stronger than his father had been, but did that really separate them? Even though there was a gap in strength were they still really the same person? Pyro looked about him and noticed where he was, this was the exact study where the final battle had taken place, this was the exact study where Charles had shut himself in to deal with family matters, and this was the exact same study where Pyro was now shut in, dealing with family matters. “No!” Pyro growled and stood up violently, upending the table and sending everything flying. “I am not like him!” He denied angrily. Of course you are, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Spoke a voice in Pyro’s head and to his horror, it was his fathers. Pyro needed out of the study, he quickly turned on the spot and apperated into his own attic.
The attic held something he needed at the moment, something he must find and read to reaffirm his feelings. Pyro moved quickly over to a corner where a few boxes lay marked “Charles” and quickly tore them open and began to rifle through them. Books and artifacts flew left and right as Pyro tore through the contents for a many minutes and finally came up empty handed. Where could that damn diary have gone? Just then he remembered the day Cass moved out and vaguely remembered a few of her boxes being marked “Charles.” Could she have accidently taken his father’s diary with him? It couldn’t hurt to check, he quickly apperated to the entrance hall of the manor and hollered for the house Elfs to fetch his muggle journey attire. Pyro hated to travel around like a muggle, but unfortunately with the Ministry sniffing up every ones skirts he was forced to while in the middle of a muggle city, and of course Cass had to live in a muggle city.
Pyro quickly put on the muggle shirt and jeans and took the keys to his car from the house elf. This was about the only thing that Pyro enjoyed about Muggle travel, driving. The car was already waiting for him as he left the house, Pyro grinned as he looked at the pitch black Dodge Viper sitting in his driveway. If he was going to travel like a muggle, he was going to travel like a stylish muggle. Pyro hopped into the car and quickly fired up the engine. Putting the car into gear he peeled out of the driveway and raced down the street toward London. Pyro arrived in short order and quickly slid into a parking spot, and after throwing a little wink at a few on looking girls Pyro entered Cass’s building. He had only been here a few times but he found the door easily and rung the bell.
Pyro waited for a long time with no answer. “How can she not be home? Must be sleeping.” He thought and figured it was time to wake up. Pyro easily opened the door and stepped inside the flat and looked about. “Hello?” He called but no one was around. “Cass? I’m looking for something and I think you might have it on accident.” Pyro moved toward the location of her room, hoping to God she didn’t sleep nude. Pyro rounded the corner and looked into Cass’s room. The scene within didn’t exactly hit him right away.
Pyro noticed Cass in the adjoining bathroom, looking like she was about to flush something, and Pyro also noticed the boy in the bed. He recognized him easily as Julian Fallon, a fellow Slytherin. “Hey Cass, Hey Ju…..” It was at this moment that it suddenly hit him. The not answering the door, Julian in the bed, the lack of full clothing, Julian in the bed! “…lian….” Pyro finished with the last of his breath and stared in shock at the frozen scene in front of him. So many things were wrong with this situation, so many things didn’t add up, and all these things were trying to correct themselves in Pyro’s mind, which only had the effect of confusing him more. “Please tell me I’m in the wrong flat and you two just happen to look my Cousin Cassandra and my school mate Julian….”

"Although I have never been to a muggle movie, I have heard of them. Stories my mom used to tell would usually be about these building that had huge screens in them that would show moving pictures. She explained to me about them, and how she knew about them. My mother, the pureblood that she is, wasn't as settled as she is now." He replied to Cassandra as she asked him if he knew what a muggle movie was. The idea seemed like something they could do together. "I wouldn't know how to pick out a good movie though, so you'll have to help with that. I see something very intriguing but you're right, it's not in this big lonely bed any longer." Julian watched as Cass got up out of the bed. He wondered what she was up to. "You could only wish that was a cheap imitation of the Fallon ring that you have been wearing, my Darling." Julian smiled wondering what was going through Cassandra's mind.
He watched her carefully as she walked toward the bathroom, wondering why she was toying with his ring. Surely she wasn't going to do something stupid to the ring. " I would never mislead you, and you should know that after all of the time we have spent together." Julian noticed someone standing at the bedroom door just has he started to pull himself from the bed. ""Pyro, I know you think of your cousin as a second class citizen at times, but even the impovrished get the courtesy of a ringing doorbell." He said pulling himself out of the bed, wishing that Cassandra would have just stayed in bed with him until they had figured out what movie to go see, but he just had to see what she was up to. He continued with his plan as if Pyro wasn't standing there. He heard her yelling something about the seat on the toliet being left up. "Sorry." was all he could mutter in responce. He was guilty as charged when it came to toliet seats. "That ring is far from worthless, and I have kept my word everytime I have promised you something Ms. Blackfire." Julian reminded her getting a bit frustrated. Julian came to the bathroom door just in time to see Cassandra dangling his ring over the toliet with a look that at first threatened the ring with a trip into the toliet bowl, until she smiled. "Well, if I had wanted it in the toliet I could have very well put it there myself Cassandra. Just because I'm not ready to take it back from you, didn't mean I wanted you to do something drastic like throwing it down the toliet." Julian wanted her to keep the ring, but he couldn't tell her this. Not yet anyway. Time had to be right. Julian noticed the smile across Cassandra's face which told him that she was just fooling around with him. Picking her up, he couldn't stop himself from making his way back to the bed with her. Gently he threw her down on the bed. "How could you trick me like that? You know there is no way that ring is fake. Especially after my father owling me to ask if it was still safe. He knows you have it, and he knows why you have it. I had to be honest with him about it, so that he wouldn't misthink things." Julian kissed Cassandra deeply as he took each breath between his sentences. There was just something about being alone with her that made him lose all since of time and control. He had even almost forgotten about Pyro standing in the room. "Oh, sorry man. I just lose it with your cousin around." Julian looked at Pyro with a wide smirk on his face as he watched Cassandra put his ring back on her finger.

Cass was shocked as she saw her cousin, Pyro, walk around the corner into her bedroom. It only took Julian a moment to throw Cassandra in the bed and say his smart remark to her cousin. In fact, she was so surprised, she only lay there horror struck under Julian for a moment. Finally, she jolted out of her amazement. "Yes, I'm Helga Hufflepuff, and this here is Godric Gryffindor laying in my bed. Ugh, Pyro. Don't you know how in the hell to knock, or ring a damn doorbell?!" Furious, she pushed Julian off of her, grabbed her red silk robe off the back of the bathroom door, and stormed past her cousin out of the bedroom. As she shoved her arms into the sleeves, she yelled over her shoulder, "You know, I told you were welcome anytime, but I didn't actually expect you to take it seriously." She headed to the kitchen and started the coffee maker. Hell, why did Pyro have to pick now to come over and see what the hell she was doing? She felt like a kid caught with her hand in the cookie jar.
Composing herself, she went back to the men who were still waiting in the bedroom. "Pyro, you know, I thought you and your mother would be thrilled to know that I had finally decided to shack up with a respectable pureblood, but I really didn't want you find out this way. I was expecting we would all get together over tea. I wasn't really planning on you walking in on us during...well, during this." She sighed and put her head in her hands. "Oh, god. When this gets around that I've been...that I've been...-," Cass choked back a sob. Everytime she said something, her hands gestured to Julian in the bed. He didn't seem at all upset about the situation before them. In fact, he had laid down and was now looking at her smuggly. All of her plans were now ruined! For once, the Gryffindor was thinking she was going to get to have her cake and eat it too. By day, she had decided she was going to keep up her facade with Liam as the perfect Gryffindor couple. Well, it wasn't a complete facade. Cass cared for Liam, but their relationship had been in the gutter for a while. She had felt cold, and unloved by her beau. The flame on their candle had finally flickered and died. However, her steamy romance with Julian had ignited a fire within her she never knew she had.
Cass felt tears falling down her face. Pyro now had another round of ammo waiting in the wings for when he needed it. The silence in the room was only broken by her sobbing. The silence did give her time to think, and she was pretty sure now she could work this to her advantage. Unfortunately, Pyro had known her long enough to see through her crap. She bit her lip while she continued to sniffle. "Well, Pyro, I think you should come into the kitchen. Julian," she retrieved his gray slacks from the floor and threw them at him, "get dressed. It looks like we are going to have to entertain, and since I think Pyro would be more comfortable in the kitchen...Well, just get dressed, baby." She hurried back to the kitchen and poured all three of them cups of coffee. The boys were both joined her a few moments later. She took a seat at the table, and finally addressed her cousin calmly. "Well, I guess you're wanting some sort of explanation, right? I can just tell your trying to figure out how Julian Fallon found his way into my bed."

Pyro stood in shock, he had no idea how long he stood there since there was too much going on in his mind. This scene couldn’t possibly be happening. For one thing Julian was a Slytherin, and Cass was a pretty stereotypical Gryffindor, her shacking up with a Slytherin was pretty unheard of. Yet all the other things started to click into place, Cass wearing the ring during registration, that scene in the great hall. Pyro quickly blinked, trying to clear his head and get back to the situation at hand. His eyes first drifted to Julian because, let’s face, seeing his cousin dressed as weakly as she was wasn’t exactly something Pyro wanted to get an eye full of. Pyro once again blinked in surprise at the calm way that Julian handled the situation and then began to act as if Pyro wasn’t even there.
Pyro and Cass’s relationship had always been a roller coaster ride. Back when they had met in the snowy courtyard in their third year, before they had known they were cousins, things seemed pretty well, but then they whole fiasco with the dark book and The Chosen had started and their relationship had slowly started to deteriorate. Pyro was beginning to think that they were patching their relationship up and were back on good terms, but Pyro had never realized how much until the site of Julian tossing her into bed and kissing her as if Pyro wasn’t even there made Pyro want to cave Julian’s face in. Luckily for Julian though Cass acted a little more shocked and drew Pyro’s attention away. “I did ring the doorbell, but I guess you were too busy eating his face to hear it.” Pyro protested motioning to Julian and side stepping to let Cass storm on by.
Pyro paused and once again looked in at Julian and mouthed “Baby?” and turned and followed Cass out into the kitchen. “And you think I wanted to find out this way? Yes, its always been my dream to discover my cousins secret relationship like….like….” Pyro shuddered as the image came back to his mind. “That…” He managed to finish. Pyro actually sat down but didn’t touch his coffee. “Besides, I thought you were still seeing that…..Gli….Lia….Giliam Anglefish?” Pyro continued to sit there, his coffee cup in his hands but making no move to drink it. All thoughts about the diary flew from his mind.
Pyro looked from Cass to Julian and back again. “Well, assuming that I know you quite well I can safely say that you don’t exactly do……..That for just any guy who bats his eyelashes at you. Also if I recall you were wearing that ring during your registration. So it’s safe to assume this has been going on for a while. So yes, a little explanation would be nice.”

Cass frowned at Pyro. "Liam, Pyro. His name is Liam Angelus, and yes, I guess you could say that I was still seeing Liam. We haven't officially broken up, but he has been so MIA as of late our relationship has been non-existent." She took a sip of coffee. It warmed and calmed her down. "We haven't been together that long." She looked at Julian with eyes that would melt ice; daring him to say anything different. "Well, Julian, it looks like you've kept things secret enough." At this, her look softened towards him. "Jeez, Pyro. You've been rooming with Julian for how many years at school? Didn't you notice him leaving the dorm late at night, unexplained disappearances, Julian not showing up to certain Slytherin events?" She didn't give him time to answer. "Even though we had sworn ourselves to secret, I would of thought some of you would of figured out that Julian had a fling on the side."
She sipped her coffee again, but only gasped as it burnt her lip. "Well, what do you want to know? I mean, it started pretty innocently enough." Her eyes trailed back to Julian. "Well, maybe it wasn't so innocent. I'm serious, Pyro. This is all on him. He was the one who decided that he wanted me. He was the one who pursued me like a dog for a couple of months, and I really don't know why. She yawned. "Oh goodness, I'm worn out. You really are calling late." She looked at both of the boys after she said that line. Cass could already imagine the dirty jokes that were going through both of their minds as they sat. "Okay, that wasn't an obvious set-up. I would appreciate it if neither of you would say anything at that." She knew they would even with her request.
"Well, I guess you deserve the whole truth, Pyro. It's not like we are committing any crimes here, but most would probably think that what we are doing is tantamount to it." She stood up and pulled her robe closer around her. The last person who wanted to see what she had was her cousin. "Well, I guess it all began with a dare on the Hogwarts' grounds one night, and it just escalated from there. One day, he was chasing me like...," Cass couldn't find the right words to describe. "Well, he basically stalked me the last half of the school year. And, then, I guess you saw what happened that day in the Great Hall. In fact, I'm pretty sure everyone saw what happened in the Great Hall." She blushed and looked down at her hands. She looked at Julian so he could continue.

Julian stood after being pushed off by Cassandra, which he understood since her cousin was standing at her bedroom door watching the two of them. He found his clothes rather quickly since there were bits and pieces scattered here and there after his week long stay. He couldn’t help but to smile when Pyro responded to Cassandra’s comment about the door bell. He wasn’t going to admit that he had heard the doorbell since it had rang while he was in the kitchen preparing their dinner. No, that was something that was best kept to himself. But if Cassandra asked him about it, he wasn’t sure he would be able to lie to her. He decided that he just wouldn’t volunteer the information about the doorbell. He sat now at the kitchen table with Cassandra and Pyro knowing Pyro would want and really deserved, after what he had found, a good explanation. “There’s a new name for him.” Julian said laughing as Pyro referred to Liam Angelus as Giliam Anglefish. Julian would definitely have to talk to Pyro about borrowing that name from him for the next time he saw Liam. Julian shuddered hearing that boy’s name come from Cassandra’s lips. It had been one name that had not been mentioned over the last week and definitely one name he didn’t want to hear on her sweet lips again. He let Cassandra explain as much as she felt comfortable telling her cousin. That was a decision that they had not talked about yet, as to her this had just been a fling. He sipped his coffee slowly. He didn’t want to take any chances of saying anything out of the way until it was his turn. He knew that he had some explaining to do as well, but not nearly as much as she did. “I did as you wished, Darling,” was all he could reply as she remarked about him keeping their relationship a secret even from his room mates, which included her cousin. If only she had known how hard that had been, being in the same room with Pyro and not telling him that Cassandra had been the one he was leaving the dorm so late of a night to be with. Julian had been expecting the whole time for the relationship’s beginning to be his fault. It was indeed, and that was something he didn’t feel sorry for. The dare that had started their relationship was only his idea; he had not conferred with anyone about it. He had tricked her into coming out of the castle that night, and it had lead into what was now a relationship. It was exactly what he had wanted. “Well, then something must have been done right.” Julian smirked as Cassandra said that she was tired. He listened as Cassandra explained their relationship and why they had decided to keep it such a secret. As Cassandra finished her explanation, she handed the rest of it off to Julian. He knew that he would have to take it over eventually. “I guess the relationship really is entirely my fault. She’s only telling the truth. I have stalked her for longer than she thought actually though. I tricked her one evening into thinking that I was Gilliam Anglefish, and got her out to the Grounds for a late night picnic. The innocent dare that was issued that night was issued under drunken circumstances, and we have just grown closer from there.” As Julian listened to himself, he realized he didn’t sound normal. It was just Pyro and Cassandra sitting in front of him, why couldn’t he be himself instead. “What else really would anyone expect? Can’t believe that you never noticed me watching her, Pyro.” Julian found himself shocked. “I’ve been watching Cassandra for almost the whole year.” He smirked as he made his comment. “There was just something about the Gryffindor Keeper that lured this innocent Slytherin to her.” Julian knew that neither of them would buy the fact that he was innocent. “I only did what any Slytherin would do to get his girl. Hate that you had to find out like this though.” He said looking at Pyro. “Anyone need more?” Julian asked standing to fill his coffee cup up again. He smiled as he looked at the two cousins sitting at the table, there had to be more he could say to make this seem right. He was being honest with everyone about his relationship, with the exception that included the last week. “Honestly, I just had to be with her if you know what I mean.” Julian said with a smirk, looking straight at Pyro. He knew Cassandra would take it the wrong way, but he couldn’t just leave it open that he had true feelings for her. That had to be left for a time that was just his and hers. Now was not that time. Sitting back down, Julian looked at Cassandra, hoping that she understood. If not he would have some serious explaining to do later. That was just something he would have to deal with.
((it's done and crappy.. Love the 'Gilliam Anglefish' though. My apology for the post, but Cassandra can explain what else has been on my mind while writing.))
