The 5’5” form of Kyle Reese slipped through the door away from the rest of the 4th year Slytherin boys that remained asleep in the dorm. He couldn’t help give his friends a look of contempt at their ability to sleep the day away. Reese was unable to do that…there was too much on his mind, too many dreams that surrounded his father. It was too much for him to handle right now…not after his father’s ultimatum for the summer. A part of him was dreading the end of the school year and as today was the last trip to Hogsmeade life was looking even less appealing. Not only did that signal the end of the school year, but it also signaled summer break and exams. If there was one thing worse than his father it was exams, especially this being his 4th year. The professors thought it was a great idea for all of the 4th years to get prepared for the OWLs and by preparing he meant slamming them with homework and horribly difficult exams. In that respect Reese would have loved summer, but with the promise of his father’s ailing health and Nazi ways it was impossible for him to want to even appreciate summer let alone love it.
The evidence of spring and the ever-closer step to summer was apparent as Reese stepped out into the sun that Saturday morning. It was rather depressing even in its warmth. Of course nothing that related to his father could possibly be good to him. Golden green eyes squinted in the sunlight as he pulled out a pair of sunglasses and breaking the sun’s hold on his eyes. Sighing to himself he trudged down the cobblestone toward Hogsmeade. He was trying to get himself into a better mood before he got there, knowing that even Honeydukes was going to be hard to enjoy if he couldn’t at least get in a decent mood. Reese pulled his wand out of his jeans pocket flipping it in the air before grasping it again and continuing down the road.
Reese flipped the wand a few more times as he walked, his mind trying to clear as he thought about what he could possibly do that would be amusing for a day like today. Catching it for the last time, he twisted the wood around his fingers before eyeing a few other students heading down the road. They were watching him suspiciously and he realized that tossing his wand around, being a known Slytherin was probably not a good idea at the moment. He’d wait until they weren’t watching him. He smirked at them, a nice big overly dramatic smile as he twirled the wand around his fingers once more before slipping the wand back into his pocket. The uncertain glances they sent his way made him laugh to himself. It amused him more than anything to see people look at him with uncertainty.
The students picked up their pace and put distance between them and the blonde Slytherin. Reese laughed a little louder before veering off the path and heading for the Shrieking Shack. He’d have to hit up Honeydukes after he got a few good scares in at the Shrieking Shack. Third years were always the best ones to intimidate over there, especially when he purposely tried to spook them. The atmosphere was perfect for spooking and it was definitely something to keep them busy. As the Shrieking Shack came into view Reese jumped the fence and dropped his body into the tall grass. The smile was already touching his lips as he heard the loose gravel on the road not far from his hiding place. Grabbing a rock in his hand he tossed it against the fence, letting it knock against the wood and hopefully begin the fun of scaring some lowly Third year. He heard the feet stop and the smirk grew wide as he started with a low moaning in the back of his throat, inflecting between higher pitches. Something he thought an unholy spirit would sound like…or like something Peeves would do himself if he were trying to scare Third years.

((The ending isn't very good... It's terribly late and I tried to finish it up as soon as I could))
Gorgeous day, gorgeous me, thought the extremely self-centered fourth year Slytherin, Hayley Blake. It wasn't a lie, either. The sun shone down on the grounds beautifully on this Saturday morning. Wispy white clouds floated occasionally across the blue sky and there was a slight breeze in the air. As for Hayley, her long blond hair was perfectly straight and hung down to her elbows. The lime green tank top she was wearing seemed to accent her emerald eyes and several necklaces and bracelets hung off her neck and thin wrists. White shorts and knee high Uggs finished off her magazine cover look. After smirking to herself in the full length mirror next to her four poster bed, she strutted out of the girls' dormitory, on her way to the entrance hall for the last Hogsmeade trip.
The last Hogsmeade trip meant horrid things to Hayley. Exams, summer break, and the end of another great year. It was obvious why she would hate exams, with the tremendous amounts of homework and all, but summer break was a slightly different story. It would mean being home alone most of the summer, for her parents were busy and important Minersty workers and didn't have much time to spend with Hayley. Although, she dreaded one thing more than having to spend her break alone: having to spend it with her ill mother. Elizabeth Blake-Edwards had improved greatly since winter break, but Hayley was still a bit afraid of having to see her mother's gray skin and looking into her seemingly dead eyes.
Feeling a little depressed thinking about her final days in Hogwarts (until September, of course), Hayley made her way down the path to Hogsmeade. Occasionally she would return an absentminded 'hello' to a fellow Slytherin, but she still couldn't shake the fact that her fourth year was almost over. It seems like just yesterday a 11 year old Hayley Blake was staring around the castle in awe. Ever since then, she had an undying love for Hogwarts and her house. Hogwarts gave her a home and Slytherin gave her an identity. A place where she knew she belonged.
Hogsmeade's High Street was full of students running from store to store, exchanging the latest gossip, or just chatting with friends. Hayley didn't feel like sharing this beautiful day with her 'friends'. To her, most 'friends' were just people to keep her from being bored or maybe someone with connections to important people that could be useful to Hayley in the future. But for now, Hayley forgot everyone but herself, and continued walking until she found herself on the gravel lane that led up to the Shrieking Shack, one of the most famously haunted buildings in Britain or something along the lines of that...
It wasn't long before a knock came from behind a wood fence not too far in front Hayley, who stopped with a look on confusion on her face. Probably just a couple first years thinking they're oh so cool, Hayley thought and started on her way again until she heard a moan coming from the same spot. Continuing again and rolling her eyes, Hayley made her way over to the spot behind the fence. Hayley, smirking slightly to herself, quickly came up with a plan to give whoever thought they could scare Hayley Blake a taste of their own medicine. Making sure her Uggs made no noise and she was as quiet as possible, Hayley drew her wand and muttered a spell, causing a part of the old fence to come crashing down on the prankster, who was about to become the prankee. Hayley knew the fence wasn't very heavy (at least it didn't look like it), so it probably wouldn't hurt him, maybe just give him a scare. When the dust from the loose gravel cleared, Kyle Reese, a fellow Slytherin fourth year, was lying in the tall grass. Hayley stood with her hands on her hips, smirking down on Kyle, and said in a slow, almost seductive voice that she hadn't used in who knows when, "Well, well, Mr. Reese. What do we have here? A little troublemaker?"

Long fingers wrapped themselves around another small rock, ready to toss it against the wood again to scare whoever was standing on the other side of the fence, but unfortunately that wasn’t going to work. Kyle Reese had no idea who he was daring to mess with and if he did he probably wouldn’t have done so, so readily. The smirk on his face was hardly hidden and he had to keep the soft moaning going just to keep himself from laughing. Sometimes Reese acted more like a three year old than he did a fifteen year old, but really it was just his way. He loved messing around when he was trying to avoid responsibility, which was more often than not. He just couldn’t help the fact that growing up sounded like such a trivial idea. Or maybe it was because he had finally picked up a muggle book recently and read straight through J.M. Barrie’s Peter Pan. It was definitely the book for him. How he related to dear old Peter, who just wanted to be a kid and not have to worry about anything, just to stay a boy and have fun. Now that would be the life. Of course Reese wasn’t going to get that sort of a life, but at least he could try to have a little fun.
Unfortunately for Reese though the rock he tossed at the fence wasn’t going to spook the one on the other side, instead it was going to spook him. It happened fast, or at least it probably did, to Reese it seemed like everything was moving in slow motion as the rock struck the wood and suddenly that part of the fence seemed to implode on itself…no, no…not on itself, on him. The smile and laughter that had been on his face was suddenly gone as he rolled over, his hands going up to cover his head as he tried to roll out of the way of the flying wood and splinters. He could feel the sawdust settle around him, a few pieces of wood striking him across the back and arms, but nothing painful…not really anyhow. Golden-green eyes slowly opened trying to blink through the dust that was settling around him. It looked like a bomb had gone off and a part of him wondered if he had picked up a rock or a tiny grenade.
After a second of taking in that he was actually alive and not dead, Reese slowly turned back over dusting himself off as he moved. It was then that he noticed the knee high Uggs and the playful smile returned to his lips. He knew those legs. Slowly Reese’s gaze traveled up her legs, further past her white shorts and lime green tank top, till he rested on familiar emerald eyes. Her voice was husky, low and melodious to his ears. “Well, well, Miss Blake. Looking stunning as ever, though you might look even better from right down here,” Reese said with a sly grin as he patted the high grass right beside him. “Though it might be a little dangerous with the splinters, maybe you should just sit in my lap.” Reese couldn’t stop the huge grin that pulled at the corners of his lips as he rolled out of her reach, sure that she was going to slap him for that comment. “You must forgive me for blowing up the fence, sometimes I don’t know my own strength and as for troublemaking…you’re only a troublemaker if you get caught. I am simply an adventurous. Speaking of adventure here comes a group of third years, down!” Reese didn’t bother to wait for a reply from her before he grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her down with him into the tall grass, a little away from where the fence had exploded. “Now this is where you start moaning like an unholy spirit,” Reese whispered as he waited for the group of students to get closer.

Hayley smirked when Kyle complimented her. "Why, thank you, Kyle. As do you, but you're looking a bit dusty from 'up here'," she said, referring to the layer of sawdust that still covered part of him, despite his efforts to brush himself off. Hayley couldn't stop herself from thinking even with the dust, Kyle Reese was still very cute. The Slytherin girl's smirk got, if possible, bigger at his next words. "You're smart for rolling out of the way. I might have had to kick you for that one," Hayley said, finding Kyle's smile contagious, as always. With a little shock of grief, Hayley realized when summer break comes along, she would probably not see Kyle Reese, or any other Hogwarts student for that matter, until the following September the first. Has really been four years? Hayley silently asked herself. It certainly did not seem so. Once again, she remembered the small Hayley Blake, obsessed with showing her true colours: green and silver. Reese's voice snapped Hayley back into reality, which Hayley was grateful for. She was not one to linger in old memories of her past, but couldn't help it once in a while.
"Hmm, I supposed I could forgive you. Just this once," said Hayley, winking and playing along. She was about to say something on the subject of troublemaking, when Kyle grabbed her wrist like a mob of angry cannibals was coming, rather than a group of third years. One of her bracelets fell off, but she didn't mind. Besides, she had more than enough of them already. Hayley dropped into the tall grass, forgetting about keeping her clothes clean and hair perfect for the first time in her life. Hey, live a little, said a voice in the back of Hayley's head and she felt a rush of adrenaline. Wow, I don't get out much, do i? Hayley thought, and grinned. Not smirked, but grinned. I could get used to this troublemaking thing. Hayley looked over at Kyle and met his eyes as he whispered about moaning like an unholy spirit. She chuckled a little and whispered, "You can do the unholy moaning this time. I'll sit back and watch the professional work his magic on the innocent little third years." Hayley held an imaginary microphone in her hand. "And now the fierce hunter awaits his unsuspecting prey. Only one can imagine the gruesome methods of troublemaking he will inflict upon them," she said jokingly. She had forgotten how much fun Kyle could be. Or maybe she hadn't got out in a while.

Reese was definitely enjoying the moment as he stared up at Hayley Blake. If there was one thing his young mind had already grasped it was how to charm the ladies and Hayley was no exception to that. He found her refreshing and most of all, he found her to be exciting. There was little that excited him anymore, especially when it came to women. Only a few could truly intrigue him…who’s personalities were as wired as his own. Hayley was definitely turning out to be one of those girls. Despite her efforts to look like a goddess in her outfit, which she most assuredly did, she didn’t hesitate as he pulled her down. There was no reluctance, nothing but complete trust and Reese couldn’t help but log that into the back of his mind. How that made such an impact on him, even though it was subconscious and he wasn’t truly aware of it right then he would come to think of that later, when time would not be on his side.
Her words were playful and Reese smirked wide, his charming smile was cunning and amusing as he waited for the ground of third years to travel closer to the fence. As Hayley’s words hit him, he tried hard to control the laughter that so wanted to escape. She was good at this…definitely amusing as well and pretty. The stray thought threw Reese for a few moments before the cracking of twigs reminded him of what he was supposed to be doing. He nodded, the grin showing up on his face as he swallowed, trying to wet his dry mouth. Softly at first he moaned, the low guttural sound coming out in a haunting whisper. “Get out…” he whispered in the same tone, his voice louder this time. Now he could clearly hear the anxious whispers of the kids. They were starting to shift on their feet. It was clearly obvious and as the gravel shifted beneath their feet he couldn’t help but let the grin widen to what seemed to be his ears. He glanced over at Hayley and grinned as he took out his wand and pointed it at the shack. He muttered the spell that would blast open the door on the shack and in a loud growling tone he cried, “GET OUT!”
All Reese heard then was screams and the sounds of feet hitting gravel as they ran from the shack. As soon as the sound faded he burst out laughing, his gut hurting from the force of his amusement. “See! It’s hilarious!” He pulled up into a sitting position and turned to look down at Hayley. “What do you think? Think you can handle another bunch if one comes our way? Not sure they will after that brilliant performance, but if we’re lucky you’ll get an opportunity to scare the p*** out of someone.” Reese couldn’t stop laughing as he eyed a bracelet, which was obviously Hayley’s on the ground. He leaned over her a bit to grab the bracelet from the ground. “Don’t lose this…you might need it.” Fingers wrapped around her wrist delicately as he slipped the bracelet back on her wrist. “Now do you want to have a go at it, or do you want to check out the Shrieking Shack?” Reese was definitely in the mood for reckless abandoned adventures, he only hoped he’d be able to find a good one with Hayley there with him. There was nothing he wouldn’t do to try and impress the opposite sex.
