Danny stood there looking at the crowds, he hated crowds so much. The bumping into people, the pushing to get through, how many times he had to say “excuse me” or “Pardon me” just to get by a single person. It was always like this when the students first got here, they just stood they’re in the way like it was they’re first time coming here ever. He toke a deep breath, it was time to fight the crowds and his urge to just push his way over people. Tight places he was fine with but tight places packed with people just made him nervous for some odd reason. He just kept thinking that over this first crowd of people it would be clear and he was right, after a few minutes of trying to fight his way through it was clear of the crowds and he was happy again.
He looked around, he too didn’t know what he was going to do but he happily had the common sense not to stand in the way while other people tried to get by. Nothing really seemed to interest him at the moment. He didn’t have much money on him so anything big was out of the question and most of his friends already had plans or stayed back at Hogwarts to study. Danny turned around in a circle for no reason as he normally did then just decided to walk around some more. Maybe he would get an idea on what to do next while he randomly walked around. “Nothing new.” He said to himself as he kept walking. It wasn’t that it was a bad thing Danny was just bored and had no idea what to do.
Danny soon found himself in some back alleys which looked like no one every went down. It was dark, dirty and actually very creepy. It just gave him the feeling like someone was watching and going to reach out for him from the shadows. He was half tempted to pull out his wand but he just walked out instead. As he walked out from the alley he found himself back on the main alley with all the people again. This time they were moving so it was okay he thought. Danny just kept walking around till he got bored of that too.
Danny just sighed a little again still bored then just turned and started walking to the three broomsticks. He made it in a surprisingly short time, he thought it would take forever with all the people in the way. Opening the door he was even more shocked to see it wasn’t totally packed yet. Danny toke a seat at one of the empty tables at the corner and just relaxed, he looked around and looked at the couples and all the people just drinking. Pretty soon a waitress came over and asked him if he wanted anything. “Yes ma’am, two butterbeers please. One for me and one for my guest.” Danny said with a smile and watched as the waitress looked a little confused. She soon told him he had no guest at the table and Danny just laughed. “Yes but I might and if I don’t then I just get two butterbeers for myself, so it’s a win, win.” He said with a laugh and the waitress just smiled and walked off. Danny just went back to looking around, a little depressed at how bored he was right now.
