It was a nice day, perfect in fact to most parts. The sun was out shining down on the town, supplying heat and light for anyone who dared to walk out side. There were not many clouds about in the sky, just one or two scattered here and there, yet a cooling breeze passed over the faces of the towns people when ever one would come. It was a relief to the warmth and allowed people to go about their business without sweating like pigs and smelling of stale sweat. Rosaliz smiled as she ran her left hand through her long blonde hair. She normally did not like coming to Hogsmeade, saw it as pointless, yet today, it gave her a pleasing feeling to know that nothing would go wrong. How could it when the world was shining and people were laughing. Children of the town were playing in the streets and racing along on brooms. Hogwarts students filed in and out of shops, going along with their friends and sharing jokes. Adults sat around at the parks, watching the ponds ripple from the frogs and ducks playing in the water. The trees around the streets and in the park supplied enough shade for a nice lunch out side. It was all very welcoming and for the first time Rosaliz was pleased to see it all, pleased to be a part of it. Many things have changed in the past few months. Rosaliz's emotions for things had grown stronger, made her act a little different towards a number of things. Things such as life, happiness, friendship and a lot more. She still hated people coming up to her and talking as if they knew everything. She still hated it when ones she already hated thought they knew what her problems were and simply acted so foolish about it all. Yet, most of all, she hated people who were fake, people who tried to impress others, just to get to a place where they normally can not be if they were their normal self. People who were silly and dumb enough to try and challenge her into a duel when they could no way win against her magic, her power. She had proven that to some silly Hufflepuff, he had come to Hogwarts expecting to be smart and in control. He had gotten cheeky with her and believed he was powerful enough to defeat her in a duel. Yet, Rosaliz used magic she had not touched, magic that was so powerful even the boy would not know what had hit him. She had shut him down with every spell he used and not only did it prove to him he could not win against her, it proved to Roasaliz that she could win against Margie, that she could win against anyone that challenged her if she wanted to. She was powerful and there nothing anyone could do about it.
Yet, it was so ironic, that in her power, she was also fading. No one knew the truth. The truth behind all of Rosaliz’s pain and troubles, why she acted the way she did and so; so much more. Rosaliz had never been that nice to people and most of all, not to people who had a chance of knowing her before she or they came to Hogwarts. There were other people to be counted for, some Rosaliz had already spoken with and was working on sorting things out, yet others, she had not tried with yet. Mostly because they were people who were less likely to even understand, or the fact that she really could not even see the point in bringing any of it up with them. It was simply to say, you needed to learn when and when not to be truthful about something. When and when not you should open up and tell people what you know and have done. It was a matter of the fact that you may have to go out of your own comfort zone, but the matter of doing it and getting it over with, about being true and honest to yourself and others in the process. Rosaliz knew what it was all about, yet, to some, she acted that she did not, or at least, that she did not care for such things. Really, she did not, deep down, she only cared for a few things and one of them was not really restoring memories or admitting she had changed them. The only reason Rosaliz was going about and doing so was for the sake of her cherishing memory of her mother. Rosaliz sighed calmly as she made her way towards the tree lines near the hills. The blonde knew that not many people would be hanging around there and it would be the perfect place to go and relax for some time. She knew that it would be the best place to go, to have a privet conversation or bimley a nice drink. On to that, Rosaliz also felt the need to sit and think, to build her energy back up and decide which steps she was going to take next. There were a number of choices, try speaking with some people again.
Rosaliz reached the tree lines. Here it was very shady and much cooler then out in the sun, as one would expect. Pulling out her wand, Rosaliz summoned a blanket on the ground and smiled. She didn't expect to sit on the ground. Putting away her wand and found herself a nice soft place on the blanket to sit. As she sat she found that it was easy to get comfortable and not have her clothes twisting around her. Today Rosaliz was wearing three quarter length jeans and slip on shoes, along with a nice white top. Even her clothing style had changed. Her outfits were calmer, lighter then the heavy jackets and long jeans she would always be wearing. Why had she decided on the change was simple. Before seeing her uncle for the last time Rosaliz was still suffering from the past and did not wish to show any of her scars to anyone. So, she naturally covered them up with heavy cloths. Now however, she was past that, she did not care who noticed the scars or what anyone wanted to say about them. It was really her own business and if somebody wanted to know, well they can just sit back and wonder about it until they give up.Rosaliz pulled her long blonde hair out in front of her and started running a hand through the skilly sensation. She liked to do this, the feel of the soft cool hair running over her fingers. It was calming and gentle, it was also a good way to find knots and get rid of them. While she played with her hair Rosaliz listened to all the sounds that were around her. The birds in their nests in the trees, singing their daily songs and waiting for feed time. The wind that blew against the trees and made the leaves rustle in a magical motion, sprinkling odd moments of glittering light down on the ground surroundings. Her mind was in working order and she could sit there and work out the greater bits of life and what she had planned. She could sit there and think about the past and not be really that affected by it. No, in side Rosaliz and out side Rosaliz, all was at peace for atleast now.
That was unfortunately until Rosalilz heard a muttered sentence behind her. She was not sure who could have been there, who had been watching her. Rosaliz had not caught the words that had been said properly, but she knew, by the tone and the shortness of what ever it had been that it was not anything friendly. Had one of the students either of the girls had made suffer at Hogwarts followed her to the trees and thought it was a perfect moment to catch them of guard. Rosaliz would make sure that did not happen. She heard a twig break behind her and knew just where they were. A tone that clearly said that Rosaliz did not trust what ever it was and that she was ready to take action against it. Taking her hand from her hair and straight to her wand, Rosaliz stood and turned in such a sudden movement that anyone would have not seen the actions. Only, when Rosaliz saw who it was there, she knew she would never catch them off guard. In fact they had caught her off guard and that gave them power over her. It all happened so fast there was nothing Rosaliz had been able to do about it. She was right there, standing next to one of the many trees, just looking at her, a smug look on her face and not as weak seeming as she had been in hiding. Rosaliz’s mind was screaming, she did not know how she could have been there, how he had gotten out and she not be warned. Yet, even as she went to cast a spell at her and then run for it, she was too slow. Margie had the upper hand of surprise against Rosaliz and she was using it against her. There was no time to dodge, no time to put up a defensive wall. It all happen in seconds, from the moment she had first warned somebody was around and till now, ten seconds was all it took… not even that really. She was hopeless and it was just where Margie had wanted her. The stunning spell hit her in the chest and the effects took place right away. Before she knew it, Rosaliz could not move any part of her body and she was falling backward. She landed with a hard bang on the ground, having missed the blanket and hit her head. It could have been a branch, or a rock, she had no idea what it had been, but even in her stunned moment, Rosaliz had felt the pain. Without further ado Rosaliz stood up and put her wand at the ready. “I'm surprised, you came here. Out in public where everybody can see your actions!!!” stated Rosaliz. Margie took to surprise on wheat Rosaliz said and murmured, until next time my dear. All was left was the crack and where once stood the figure of Margie who had apperated away. Not to lucky with this so called meet, Rosaliz figured she should go to the nearby abandoned shrinking shack, where she could secretly heal her wounds and and recover her state of mind....and to think she was starting out the day fine.
