The Hogswart's Express was starting to pull out of the staion. Deliliah was walking down the isles looking for an empty compartment. She found one toward the back of the train. She luged her truck inside and lifted it into the railing above the seats. She sat down by the window and pulled out a book. She began to read quietly to herself.

Serina was looking for a place to sit and didn't want to sit by a bunch of people she didn't know. She often hated having to listen to them talk to one another like she wasn't there and she never did like over hearing their conversations, because she knew that was very rude to do. Serina was walking down the isle and she saw a place where a girl had just put her trunck away and had sat down. Serina thought she could sit there since htere weren't any one else there and it wasn't empty. Serina hated sitting by herself more then anything. She would rather sit with a bunch of people she didn't know than by her self. Serina walked over to the girl who was now reading a book." Um, I'm very sorry to disturb you but, i can't seem to find a place to sit and i was wondering if i could sit here. I promise i wont bug you." Serina gave the girl a nice smile lettting her know that she came in peace. Serina hoped the girl wouldn't me completely mean to her. Serina could tell she was a Slytherin. That didn't really matter to Serina though.

Payton was walking behind his friend, delilah when he lost her at the station, he found her in an empty cabin, he looked right and said "Hey Delilah....I....wait....Who is this!?" he said angerly at the gryffindor, then a smirk came across him "Wait....your a first year..." he threw his trunk onto the holding place and sat next to the first year "Whats your name" he said in a more of demanding then asking tone

Serina was sitting across from the girl who had not yet told Serina her name. Serina decided not to push her name out of her so she just looked out the window and waited for the train to be on it's way. That was when a boy came up and started to talk to the other girl and then rudly asked who she was. Serina was shocked and didn't want to make any one mad for sitting there. Then she thought "Great! I'm sitting in his spot!" Serina hated sitting in someones spot and not knowing it. she felt bad and as he sat next to her and asked her name in a demanding tone, that made Serina a little uneasy."Well, maybe if you asked a little nicer then i would tell you!" Serina was mad at this point mainly because a Slytherin came up to her and demanded her name instead of asking lieing normal nice people do. Serina was sure that the girl sitting across from her wouldn't have asked her in such a tone like he did. Serina instantly felt bad for being mad and replied"Serina, thats my name. Serina Becksworth. and yes i am a first year." Serian replied with a more nicer tone then the one before hoping the Slytherin boy wouldn't continue in his rude tone.

Payton felt his eyes narrow automaticly as she replyed in a frusterated tone and after she had said her name and year he said "Well, now thats better, you need to learn to respect upperclassmen little girl" he said looking her over and thinking maybe she isn't all that bad "So how are you liking hogwarts so far, tiny?" he asked half chuckling at her size

Delilah was to absorbed in her book to look at the girl that entered. She ignored her not caring who sat with her. She heard her name and looked up. She say her best friend Payton join them. She knew he was in a bad mood and decided not to join in on there conversation. She went back to reading half listening to their conversation. She smirked behind her book at the new girl's remark. She knew paton hated being talked to in that way. 5..4..3...2...1 she counted in her head waiting for her friend to explode but it never came. She closed her book and looked at Payton. "No explostion this time Pay? Have you grown up during the holiday?" she said smirking at her friend. She turned to Serina abnd held out her hand. "I'm Delilah and this is Payton." she said sweetly. "I'm sorry if my friend here is being mean. He does that alot."

Serina didn't feel like answering the boys question. Especially after he called her tiny. Sure Serina was small but she was only a first year. This was the exact reason why Serina rarely sat or even talked to Slytherins' mainly because of their stuck-up Ego they have. They think they are so much better because they are purebloods' and their daddys have so much money that they pay for their children to be in the Slytherin House. Serina was a pureblood too and her father and mother had enough money to where she could be put in the Slytherin House. It was a matter of, the fact that her father had told Serina that he wanted her to avoid any chance of her being put into the Slytherin House."Darlling, you are such a good person and so talented and i wouldn't want you to loose yourself like i did when i was in that house. People may tell you how powerful they are because they are in the Slytherin House, but sweetheart, know this, everyone has their weakness..even the strongest Slytherins' can be broken down. Don't be fooled into that house. Know yourself." Is what her father would tell her every time she asked about why he hated being in the Slytherin House. She knew her father was very popular when he attended but he would often look back and regret almost every thing he had done in his years at Hogwarts.
Serina smiled as the girl, whose name was Delilah, introduced both of them. Serina thought that this girl may be a little nicer then the boy who she said was named Payton. "Hmmm..... figures Payton sounds like a perfect name for a mean stuck-up brat in the Slytherin House." Serina inly thought this to herself and did not dare say it aloud.Serina knew what might happen if she did say it out loud. Serina, remembering she was asked a question, turned to Payton."Well, I am likeing it a lot right now. Everyone seem to be....somewhat nice. I think i can accomplish great things here at Hogwarts! Oh, and i'm sure you were tiny once in your life so maybe you should call your self tiny for a change."Serina didn't mean to be so rude but she wasn't the kind to just stand around and let people talk like that to her. Serina knew she had some of her fathers' "Slytherin" in her and she never really showed it unless she needed to. Serina hten turned to Delilah and smiled friendly" That's alright. I'm sure that he didn't mean to be so rude and that he wont do it again. Well, Like i said to Payton. I'm Serina Becksworth." Serrina was thinking whether or not she should tell them that her father and the headmaster where great friends. Serina decided not to, since she knew that Dumbledore had retired and he wouldn't really be able to do anything. So Serina just left it alone and she thought that no body had to know about her relation to Dumbledore. Plus she didn't think that they would even care about it.

Deliah laughed at Serina for her remark about Payton's size. "Hey...Only I can call him tiny." she said now laughing. She looked at Payton. "It's okay, Pay. You are my tiny." She sighed which seemed to calm herself down. Serina began to talk to her and she smiled. "I wouldn't be so sure." she said under her breath. Deliah looked at Payon. "You be nice. I really don't want a fight. She seems fine to me but I espically like the way she talks about you. Quite enjoyable." she said smirking at her best freind.

Payton growled under his breath "You know very well how I feel about Gryffindors Delilah, anyway on a lighter note, I have applied to be a Reserve Beater for the Slytherin Quidditch Team, what do you think?" he said Loosening his Green and Sliver tie a little "I think it will be fun to smash some Gryffindor Heads!" He said thinking about what The Gryffindor would say, he hoped slightly that she would attack him in some way

Delilah rolled her eyes at Payton. "That I do. Just promise me this year no fights. You know how I feel about fighting and especially with you in the middle of it." she sad sadly and then smiled for her friends good news. She hated when her best friend came into the common room all brused and bloody. It mad her sad to see him like that. She sighed. "That is great news, Pay. Now you can stop bugging me into joining the team."

Selena glanced at the scheduale. "If you haven't noticed by now we are in the same year." she said smirking at him. "So I will have the usual ones you have but my electives are Ancient Runes and Divination." She read to Muggle Studies and started to laugh. "Muggle studies? Since when have you been interested in Muggles?" she said laughing.

Delilah rolled her eyes as Payton's speech and began to grow angry. She hated Payton's father for some reason. Ever since she had met Payton and his family she hated him. He was up to something and she wanted to know what. "Of course your father would want you to take it. But what about Payton...what does he want to study?" she said to Payton "Your father is up to something. I know he is." She looked at all the candy he just bought. "You eat to much sugar. She can have some of mine if she wants." Delilah liiked at Serina. "What some?" she asked her.

"Ahh, sorry delilah, no feeding the animals, and yeah my dads up to something, and its not your business, or I just can't tell you here" he said suspiciously "I thought you liked father? He bought you those dress robes last year, and this year he told me to give you this" He said giving her a slip that said:
Hogsmead Permission Slip
I Johnathon Laslie, do hereby give Delilah Mortis Permission to go to hogsmead when aloud by staff

Delilah glared at him and grabed a hand full of candy. "Here." she said thursting some candy in Serina's hand. "I don't need any." She rolled her eyes at the reamark. "Ever heard of acting. It's a thing people do to get what they want. And you know you edged him into it so those were from you." she looked at the note in her hand and was surprised. "How did you know my parents didn't sign my form?"

"Aww...Pay." said Delilah getting up from her seat and giving him a hug. "This means a lot coming from you. You have somewhat mattured during the summer. I am proud of you." She kissed him lightly on the cheek and sat down next to him. The kiss ment nothing to her. She thought of Payton being her younger brother. "I thought we decided to drop this. You know I don't play quidditch." she said at his last remark. She hated people watching her fly or any thing for that matter.

Serina was not at all regreting what she had said to Payton. She could also tell that she wasn't on his good terms so she decided to just read and figure out what it was she was going to do about Williard. She had wanted to tlak to someone about what she should do and what she should tell him. She knew she wasn't going to ask either one of these people because htey obviously didn't like her. Serina hated the fact that it was just because she was a Gryffindor.
