The clock stuck at 7. Some students were roaming in their Quidditch robes, some were taking a nap. It was designated by the staff that their first class of the day would take place in noon, not in the morning. So few of them decided either to watch the Quidditch practice or swim or library. It was the scene of Ravenclaws Common Room.
Ashanya decided to study. It was not too much cold. What could be better than this to study- a pleasant warm day! Though she wanted to enjoy the practices, but priority was- her homework which was not done.
So, she walked over to the table , pulling her wand out of the drawer, pointed it at the table and brought her books back from their storage space. It was a simple spell that nearly every first or second year learned, and it came in quite handy when she had a large number of books and whatever else with her. Immediately two large books appeared on the table. Oh God! What she did. No need of books here, she thought. How would she carry those to the ground?
But, she was a Ravenclaw- where Wit & Intelligence is surest.
Quickly she wore the robe, took the wand with her & ran toward the ground. Books were still on the table.
Ground was not crowdy. Some were studying there, like good children. She found a suitable place- under a huge tree. The sun felt nice on her skin and it was pleasant here in the shade of the tree. She grabbed the wand & pointed it at the ground and brought her books back from the Common Room. Yes, that was the trick!
Ashanya barely noticed that she had gone from a sitting position to laying down. The ground felt so good beneath her. Almost like this particular patch of grass was planted just for her. I'll just rest here, thought Ashanya. Just for a few minutes. Then study. The soft breeze ruffled her hair. This wasn't so bad. If only all her Charms classes could be outside on a warm day like this. But, who dares to talk to Professor Flitwick?
The sun shining, a nice breeze blowing. What could be better than this? Maybe another person to share the day with, or a group! Yes, it was not a bad idea. What's about gossips with friends? It was only for changing the mood & creating rapport with them. But, she was not gonna find someone, she thought.
